“You won’t believe that leech called to come pick him up at the airport” Rose said to someone on the phone as she wore her shoes.
“What!, It’s 4am!” Lily exclaimed.
Lily is Rose childhood friend. She’s a kpop idol.
“You can imagine, right?” She hissed as she locked the door.
“Just wait, I’mma come pick you up” Lily said.
“No!, You need to get some rest” She said firmly.
“How will you get to the airport?” Lily asked.
“Somehow I guess, Bye. Get some sleep” She hung up the call.
🛬INCHEON AIRPORT🛬
“That bratty leech. He could have just called for a driver but no. He’s hell bent on getting on my nerves” She scoffed.
“Here” He said as he handed her his jacket and his suitcase. She rolled her eyes as she walked behind him.
“@ss-wipe” She muttered.
“Where is your car?” He asked as he removed his shades.
“I don’t remember ever having one” She scoffed.
“I know you never had one but why didn’t you go to the mansion to get one?” He asked as he stared at her in disbelief.
“Ungrateful leech” She smiled at her thought.
“Why are you smiling?” He asked.
“You know, At times it’s better to look at someone and smile out of pity instead of giving them a piece of your mind” She smiled.
“Me?, Pity?” He raised a brow.
“You sounded like you were stranded at the airport like a lost kid. That’s why I didn’t remember to go to mansion” She said.
“Are you trying to say I’m at fault?” He raised a brow staring at her in disbelief.
“I’m not trying to, I’m saying with my whole chest that you’re at fault” She said.
“It’s your guts for me” He scoffed.
“Ji-soo!”Someone shouted at a distance.
Jisoo is Rose’s Korean name. She turned only to see Lily. She was wearing a face cap but Rose still recognized her.
“Ji-eun” She smiled waving.
Lily’s Korean name is Ji-eun. Lily walked to them. She smiled at Rose and rolled her eyes at Ryan. Ryan looked away. Lily and Ryan never got along because of the way he treats Rose.
“I came to pick you up” She smiled.
“Thanks love” Rose winked.
“Let’s go” Rose said as she carried his suitcase.
“I guess I have to give you a lift” She said glaring daggers at Ryan. Who wore his glasses.
“Don’t I look cute?” He asked pouting as he put his right hand under his jaw. She gave him a death glare. He walked away.
“How dare he try to act cute with me?” She scoffed as she walked to the car.
8AM, LUXURY HOTEL*
“I can’t believe that leech asked me to come to work this early when I couldn’t get enough sleep thanks to him” She thought.
She looked around her. All she could see were gushing faces. She looked at her phone.
“Valentine, Good luck to those of us without a val” She sighed.
“Huh?” She looked at her phone.
“8:05!, That leech won’t spare me” She ran to the scanner. She placed her ID card on it but it didn’t open the door.
“Jebal” She muttered as she kept on placing her ID on it. Jebal means please.
“Finally” She took a deep breathe as the door open.
She ran to the elevator and kept on pressing the button in frustration.
She entered the elevator and the door closed then her eyes went to her shoes.
“Eottoke?” She muttered.
She was wearing different pairs of shoes. ‘Eottoke?’ means ‘How?’
She ran into his office.
“Joesonghaminda” She said as she bowed down closing her eyes tightly.
‘Joesonghaminda’ means ‘ I’m sorry ‘
She slowly opened an eye as she swallowed hard. She was welcomed by an empty seat.
“What the” She muttered placing her hands on her waist.
Chapter 2 : Tension in the Office
LIMELIGHT ENTERTAINMENT* PRACTICE ROOM**
Glitter Girls were having a rehearsal for their concert.
Glitter Girls is the female biggest and most lovable kpop group in south Korea.
The group is made up of three girls.
Lee Yu-na is the oldest, 23 years old. The leader and a vocalist.
Kim Ji-eun/Lily is 22 years old and is the main vocalist and dancer.
Richard Olive is 21 years old American, the youngest and the rapper of the group. She speaks a little Korean.
“Pigunae” Yu-na muttered. She sat on the cold floor as the music ended.
“Here” Manager Kang said as he handed them each a bottle of water.
“Gamsamhabmida” They groaned. Yu-na drank all the water at a go.
“Can I get an extra one?” She asked. Lily passed her one.
“Thanks love” She smiled blowing her a kiss.
“Sorry but you’re not my type” Lily said tucking her hair behind her ear. They all laughed.
LUXURY HOTEL, ROSE’S OFFICE>>>>>
“That stupid leech, I can’t believe I wore different pairs of shoes just because of him. He was sounding like he was at work” She muttered as she wore her slippers. There was knock on the door.
“Come in” She said. A staff came in and took a bow.
“I guess I have to beat you to a plump before you heed to my warnings, Scarlett” She said.
“Not my fault. You’re my sunbae” Scarlett said. Scarlett is half-korean and half- french. Sunbae means senior.
“What are you here for?, Hope you’re not here to trouble me like you always do?” Rose smiled.
“I’m not here to trouble you but I’m here to tease you for sure” She winked.
“I don’t understand” She raised a brow in confusion.
“Ta-da” Scarlett smiled as she showed Rose a bouquet of roses and a box of chocolates.
“I see so this’s what you’ve been hiding behind your back and who are these for if I may ask” Rose winked.
“Your boyfriend sent them” She smiled.
“Me?, Boyfriend?, Roses?, Chocolates?” She muttered in confusion.
“Yh and this” She showed Rose a little cute bag. Rose got up from her seat.
“Yah (Hey), Open it” Scarlett muttered. Rose opened it and found a little box in it. It was a necklace for couples.
“The other part of the heart is missing, I guess he’s wearing it already” Scarlett gushed.
“I don’t remember when last I got a bouquet of dead roses….Talk more of a bouquet of beautiful roses and a chocolate…Oh, Yeahh, I got a caramel when I went to lodge a complaint at the bank that I was scammed. The lady was kind enough to give me a caramel, You know” She sniffed wiping off her fake tears. Rose patted her back.
“Sorry” Rose muttered.
“I’ve never received a church necklace so receiving a couples necklace is a dream” She sniffed. Rose was trying to hold in her laughter.
“Did you leave only the newbie at the reception?” Rose looked at her.
Scarlett kept everything on Rose’s desk and fled out of her office making Rose smiled.
“Silly being” She smiled. Her phone buzzed.
BAE : Good day Yeobo (Honey). Did you get my gifts?
💬: “You sent them?, Did you also send the necklace” Rose texted.
💬: “Who else would have?, You forgot about me?, Yah, I usually send you bouquets and chocolates on valentine…I guess this year is a little bit different because I added a couple necklace”
💬 : “It skipped my mind but blame it on that bratty boss of mine”
💬 : “What did that leech do this time around?”

Rose smiled. The telephone rang. She picked up the call.
“Yah!!!….I’m already frustrated enough because of our stupid boss, I wore different pairs of shoes all thanks to him. I didn’t even have breakfast….That son of a b**ch, I promise I’mma strangle him and harvest his organs when I set my eyes on him, Rude jerk” She hissed.
“Hello?, Scarlett?, Stop joking around, Was he waiting for you at the reception before you got there…Sorry dear…Enjoy being scolded by that jerky brat” She laughed but it turned into a shocked face when she heard Ryan’s voice.
“I guess your attention is needed at my office, Miss Kim Jisoo Rose” He said and hung up. She swallowed hard in fear.

Chapter 3 : Unexpected Alliances

She was about to open the door then a thought came to her mind.
“Isn’t this a good thing?, I’ll get to achieve my dreams by joining Glitter girls…I should have said more things…I should get Scarlett a gift for helping me achieve my dreams” She smiled at her thought as she tuck her hair behind her ear.
“I see myself on stage with everyone screaming my stage name ROSIE! ROSIE!” She gushed as she opened the door.
She took a bow in respect as she entered his office.
“You said my attention was needed” She said.
“Why were you five minutes late to work?” He asked.
“I had to wait for my bus to arrive and besides I came before you” She said.
“It’s your attitude for me Rose, I’m your boss remember?” He asked.
“I might not remember that but I’m sure not suffering from a memory loss” She smiled.
“You sure have a way of getting on nerves” He said as he stood up from his seat.
“I could say the same, You know” She smiled.
“Use the door” He said pointing at the door.
“It’s not like I was supposed to use the wall…So just you know, I know my way in and out” She said.
“I can’t believe he didn’t sack me” She thought as she made to open the door.
“Stupid boss” He said making Rose freeze on her spot. She closed her eyes tightly.

“What?!” She exclaimed and he raised an eyebrow.

The female employees and even some of male employees were gushing over him. Even though he had a straight face. They began whispering among themselves.
“I wonder what this leech is doing here?” Rose thought as she covered her face.

“Leech!” She muttered. He walked to her table and took her food and began eating it.

“Sara, He’s my son after all. He went to work the same day he returned from his trip. He sure takes after me” Mr Park said.
“Workaholics” She said as she picked her glasses.
“I’mma go see him at the office so goodbye, Ne Sarang (My Love)” She blew him a kiss and left.

“Not Mrs Sara Park looking as beautiful as always” He smiled as he got up from his seat. He walked to his mom.

Rose came in. She took a bow as she entered the office. Her eyes widened as she saw Mrs Park.

“Why so shocked?” His mom asked.
“Just drop the files and leave” He said.
Ryan is hell bent on getting on Rose’s nerves so instead of sending the files through emails and stuff. He asked her to bring them to him.
“Ok” She said as she walked to his desk.
“Thank you Lord, She isn’t reminding me of my dad today” She took a deep breathe as she dropped the files on his desk.
She took a bow and made to open the door.
“I hope you aren’t trusting her with your money. You know an apple doesn’t fa-

“You now talk back at me” Sara scoffed.
“That wasn’t talking back, It was a conversion” She said politely.
“You’re scoundrel just like your dad” Sara smirked.
“I have things to say but I’mma just keep them to myself because it’s all my dad’s fault” She sighed.
“You’re still talking back, You little wench. Didn’t your mom teach you to respect your elders?. I wonder what she taught you” Sara said.
“Mrs Sara Park” She said making Ryan eyes widen. His mom folded her hands under her b**bs.

“Yeah, She is. So worry not” He smiled. His phone rang.

“I’m a savage and a baddie unlike my twin brother, He’s such a softie” She scoffed.
“Can I get a chance to speak?” He asked. The girls nodded.
“Glitter Girls now has a new member” He smiled clapping his hands. The girls gave him a look of disbelief.
“So?” Olive rolled her eyes.
“You guys are going to meet her” He said.
“Huh?, isn’t she the newbie?, Apparently she’s supposed to come see us since we’re her sunbaes(seniors)” Olive said.
“Keep your savageness to yourself today” He smiled. Lily’s phone rang. She smiled looking at the caller ID ‘Boo😘’.
“Excuse me” She smiled as she left the practice room.
“I guess it’s her best friend” Manager Kang said.

“I don’t think it’d hurt minding your business” Olive smiled.

“Shit” Olive said as she grabbed a bottle of water.

“Love you too. Go back to practice” Rose said and hung up.
“You call and hang up without waiting for my response but when I do that you find it offensive” Lily smiled.

“I guess it looks like a bus stop to you” Olive said making Lily chuckle. Yuna rolled her eyes.

“What the” Lily muttered in shock as they opened the door seeing the mess on the floor. Lily shook her head.
“I guess I won’t be keeping my savageness to myself” Olive said as she tied her hair in a messy bun.
A girl came out wearing Olive’s hoodie.
“I guess my madness would be on display” Olive muttered.
“In HD” Yuna nodded.
“I’d want to guess that hoodie isn’t yours” Olive said looking at the girl.
“I wanted to turn it into a rug cause it’s of low quality but I decided to wear it out of pity” She said.
“The owner should have at least bought something of high quality. Write ups isn’t all that matters” She said as she switched on the television.
“Ok” Yuna smiled. Olive looked around trying to process what just happened.

“Unfortunately for whoever owns this hoodie I am” She said smiling at the TV. Olive switched off the TV.

Olive turned off the TV.
“What the” The girl muttered as olive glared daggers at her.

She took a bow and walked to him. He crossed his legs and stared at her. She swallowed hard.

“Maybe” He said as he got up from his seat. He walked to her.

“Yes!, There was a typo in this file, How could you be so careless?” He spat as he picked up a file.
“I’m sorry” She took a bow.

The girls were all in the sitting room.
