Chapter 1 & 2 : The Orphanage of Secrets

The sun had set over the bustling city, casting a golden glow over the hospital. The maternity ward was filled with the sounds of newborn babies crying and the soft chatter of new mothers. But amidst the joy and celebration, a sinister plan was unfolding.
In the nurses’ station, a group of nurses huddled together, speaking in hushed tones. They were discussing an unusual request from two mysterious men who had been lurking around the hospital for weeks.

“They want us to take one twin from each set,” said one nurse, her voice barely above a whisper. “And make sure the mothers don’t find out.”
The other nurses nodded in agreement, their faces somber. They knew that this was a dangerous and illegal request, but they were also afraid of the consequences if they refused.

As the night wore on, the nurses began to carry out their sinister plan.
In room 101, Nurse Kate smile as she placed the baby in her mother’s hand while the twin was whisked away. Next door in room 102, Nurse Thompson over the baby, distracting her mother as the twin was taken.

The deception continued, with each nurse playing their part. The nurses worked quickly and efficiently, making sure to leave no trace of their actions. They knew that they had to act fast, before the mothers realized what was happening.
As the sun began to rise, the hospital was quiet once again. The mothers were sleeping, exhausted from the birth of their babies. But the nurses knew that they had just carried out a heinous crime, one that would haunt them for the rest of their lives.

And so, the ten babies were taken, leaving behind their unsuspecting mothers. The twins were separated, their fates forever changed. The mysterious men had gotten what they wanted.

The rain poured down like a relentless curtain, shrouding the orphanage in a gloomy mist. The building’s stone walls seemed to absorb the sound, leaving an eerie silence. Inside, ten tiny cribs lined the nursery, each occupied by a newborn girl, no more than a few days old. The air was thick with the scent of baby powder and disinfectant.

The door creaked open, and a figure clad in a black hooded cloak entered, followed by another. They moved with purpose, their faces hidden in the shadows. The nurse, Martha, looked up from her desk, a mixture of fear and curiosity on her face. She had been working at the orphanage for over a decade, but she had never seen anyone like these two.

“Who are you?” she asked, her voice trembling.
The lead figure handed her a small bag filled with cash. “We’re leaving these girls in your care. Raise them as your own, but remember, they’re ours.” The voice was low and menacing, sending a chill down Martha’s spine.

The second figure lingered by the door, its gaze fixed on the cribs. For a moment, Martha thought she saw a flicker of emotion, but it was quickly extinguished.
“What do you mean, ‘they’re yours’?” Martha asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

The lead figure turned to leave, but not before responding, “You’ll know when the time comes. Just remember, they’re special.”
With that, they vanished into the night, leaving behind a trail of mystery and ten innocent lives forever changed. Martha was left to wonder what she had just gotten herself into.

Chapter 3 & 4 : Discovering Hidden Powers

Five Years Later…
The orphanage’s walls still echoed with the girls’ laughter and tears. Five years had passed since the mysterious events, but their lives remained unchanged. The girls, now five years old, still shared the same room, their bond stronger than ever.
“I don’t like it here!” Rose exclaimed, stomping her foot.
“I know, me neither,” Betty agreed. “We want a real home!”

“We’re like prisoners here” Cynthia said, squeezing her cute face.
“Shh, girls,” Martha, the orphanage’s director, overhead their conversation. “Things will get better. I promise.”
Meanwhile, in a world of luxury and privilege, their families lived in grandeur, unaware of the girls’ struggles.

One year passed, and the girls were finally allowed to venture outside the orphanage walls.
As they explored the world beyond their confines, they discovered new wonders. They discovered some strange hidden powers within them but they decided to keep it a secret without letting anyobody knowing apart from them. But tragedy struck when Jenis, one of the girls, turned six and lost her sight.

Despite this, the girls’ spirits remained unbroken. One day, while playing in the park, Cynthia, the wild and crazy one, collided with a handsome boy, making her drool.
“Who are you?” Cynthia asked, staring at him in awe.
You don’t need to know,” he replied, his expression cold and grumpy.

Cynthia’s eyes locked onto his, and she involuntary read his mind, discovering his age, name and everything about him.
“I’m Cynthia,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Michael raised an eyebrow. “You’re a bit of a clumsy one, aren’t you?”
Cynthia laughed. “Yeah, I guess I am. But you’re a bit of a grump, aren’t you?”

Michael’s expression turned even colder. “I’m just not a fan of silly girls who can’t watch where they’re going.”
Cynthia’s eyes sparkled with mischief. “Oh, I can watch where I’m going. But sometimes I just like to shake things up.”
Michael snorted. “You’re going to get yourself into trouble one day.”

Cynthia grinned. “Maybe. But at least I’ll have fun doing it.”
Michael shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips. “You’re something else, Cynthia.”
Cynthia grinned, her eyes sparkling. “That’s what makes me so lovable.”
Michael raised an eyebrow. “Lovable? You’re more like a handful.”

Cynthia laughed. “Hey, that’s not fair! I’m a sweetheart.”
Michael snorted. “Sure you are.”
Cynthia’s face scrunched up in a mock scowl. “Hey, I’m not that bad! And besides, you’re one to talk, Mr. Grumpy Pants.”

Michael’s expression turned cold again, but Cynthia could see the hint of a smile in his eyes. “I’m not grumpy, I’m just…discerning.”
Cynthia laughed. “Discerning? That’s just a fancy word for grumpy!”
Michael shook his head, chuckling despite himself. “You’re impossible, Cynthia.”

Cynthia grinned, feeling a flutter in her chest. “That’s what makes me so charming.”
As they strolled through the park, the tension between them was palpable. But it wasn’t a bad tension – it was the kind that came from two people being drawn to each other, despite their differences.

Cynthia couldn’t help but notice the way Michael’s eyes crinkled at the corners when he smiled.
As they walked, Michael suddenly said, “Hey, my name is Michael!”
Cynthia giggled. “Well, well, well! Look who finally decided to tell me his name! You’re a mysterious one, Michael!”

Michael grinned. “Hey, I just wanted to make sure you were worth sharing my name with!”
Cynthia playfully rolled her eyes. “Oh, I’m so special, huh?”
Michael chuckled. “Yeah, you’re pretty cool!”

Cynthia stuck out her tongue. “Hey, I’m not that bad.
As they walked, Michael smiled. “Hey, Cynthia, I want to give you something.” He reached into his blue backpack and pulled out a small gift box.
Cynthia’s eyes widened in surprise. “What is it? We just met!”

Michael smiled sheepishly. “I know, but I felt like I had to get you something.”
Cynthia raised an eyebrow. “Really?”
Michael nodded. “Yeah.”

Cynthia’s face lit up, and she took the box from him. Inside, she found a beautiful silver bracelet with a small charm in the shape of a love.
“Wow, this is beautiful,” she said, her eyes sparkling.
Michael shrugged. “I thought it suited you. Don’t feel too special shortie.”

Cynthia smiled, her cheeks flushing. “Thanks, Michael. This is really sweet of you.”
As they stood there, Michael realized that he didn’t want the day to end. But he knew he had to let her go, at least for now.
“I gotta go, Cynthia! But that was so much fun!” Michael said.

“Yay! I had the best time ever, Michael! I wanna play with you every day!” Cynthia replied.
“Me too! Okay, bye for now! And promise me you’ll always be my special girl!” Michael said.
“I promise, Michael! I’ll always be your special girl! And we’re gonna get married when we grow up and have a big cake and a bouncy castle!” Cynthia exclaimed.

“Yay! And we’ll have a dog and a swing set and a big ol’ house!” Michael added.
“And we’ll live happily ever after! Bye,” Cynthia said, waving goodbye.
“Bye for now!” Michael waved back, smiling.

Chapter 5 & 6 : The Lonely Girls

Days passed, and Cynthia’s encounter with Michael became a treasured memory, She didn’t know if she would ever see him again but she hoped so. Cynthia’s long, messy brown hair fell around her eyes as she whispered to her friends.
“I saw a handsome cute boy some days ago when we went to the park,” Cynthia said in her cute tiny voice, her cheek reddened as she recalled the memories of her and Michael.

“Ohhh! So what should we do about that?” Erica said with a smirk on her cute face.
“Maybe she’s trying to impress us because I don’t know what is our business about her meeting a cute blah blah boy,” Bianca said.
“You guys should stop bullying my baby girl” Rose said with a fake sad face.

“Yeah, you guys should stop bullying me and just admit you all are jealous of me because I met a cute boy but you guys didn’t.” Cynthia said squeezing her small face making the girls bursting into a cute laughter.
“Ok guys, enough!” Betty said.
“So, can you tell us his name, age and blah blah” she added.

“His …”
“His name is Michael, I guess he is something like age 7” Jenis said interrupted Cynthia from talking.
“Wow how did you…..know all that” Cynthia said looking suprised.
Jenis gestured them to come closer, which they did immediately.

“My power or I can say my ability is hearing words from afar” she whispered preventing other kids in the orphanage from listening.
“Wow that’s cool” Willow said, and the girls nodded at once.
“Thanks sisters” Jenis said feeling excited.
“I was sad on the day we went to the park,” Lorri said.
“Why?”Rose said.

“I saw other kids playing with their parents but we don’t have one, I want to see my parents too, or did they abandon us here?”She said
“Dummy, don’t you remember when Mrs Martha told us our parents abandoned us here, they are so cruel to do that, Can’t they see we are all lonely here.” Cynthia said, tears building up in her beautiful eyes.

“You guys should not cry, They may come back for us later, What do you think?” Willow said.
“I don’t think so, why don’t we give ourselves a surname like Lonely girls or what do you think?” Jenis said.
“The loners will be good, right girls?” Cynthia said.

“Yeah it’s cool” They said at once making them burst into a laughter.
“We are the loners, yayyy!!” They shouted at once feeling sad and happy at the same time for their new surname.
“Ok that’s alright ” Lyla said.

“I can’t believe we finally got to go outside,” said Erica, her long, straight black hair falling like a curtain around her face.
“I know, it was amazing!” Lorri replied, her eyes shining.
“And I got to ride a swing for the first time!” Betty said, her short black hair framing her bright smile.

“I’m so glad we’re all together,” Cynthia said, her long, messy brown hair falling around her face.
“And Jenis, I’ll always be your eyes, your guide in the darkness.” Jenis smiled, her hazel eyes shining with gratitude.
“Thanks, Cynthia. You’re my rock.” “Absolutely!” Chloe agreed, her long, straight brown hair nodding in support.

“We’re all in this together.” “Always,” Bianca added, her dark, long hair shining with determination.
Just then, the doors burst open and the mysterious men in black suits strode in, their guards looming behind them.
The girls’ laughter died on their lips as they froze in terror.

“Your playtime is over, girls,” one of the men hissed, his eyes gleaming with an otherworldly intensity.
The girls’ eyes widened in shock as the men surrounded them, their guards closing in like a trap.
They had no idea what was happening, but they knew it couldn’t be good.
“What do you want from us?” Cynthia asked, her voice trembling.

“You’ll find out soon enough,” the man replied, his smile twisted and sinister.
Martha, the orphanage director, rushed into the room, her face pale with fear. “Leave them alone!” she cried, trying to push the men away.
But they were too strong, and they shoved her aside.

As the men in black suits dragged the girls away, The two mysterious men turned to Martha with a cold face sending chills through her spine.
“Ohhh Martha,” one of them sneered. “We told you we would come for them because they are special. And now, it’s time.”
Martha trembled, her eyes wide with fear. “Please, don’t hurt them,” she begged. She knew they would come back and get the girls but she didn’t know it would be this soon.

But the men just laughed, their eyes gleaming with an otherworldly intensity. “They will be enlightened, Martha. And they will serve us.”
“The other kids in the orphanage peeked out from their rooms, their eyes wide with fright as they watched the scene unfold.
What’s going on?” one of them whispered, trembling.

“I don’t know, but it can’t be good,” another replied, her voice shaking.
The girls were dragged away, their screams echoing through the halls as they were pulled into the darkness.
The other kids watched in horror and confusion.

“Please, help us!” Erica cried, her voice echoing through the orphanage.
But the men just laughed, their eyes gleaming with an otherworldly intensity.
And with that, they vanished into the night, taking the girls with them.
