Chapter 23 & 24 : “Milo” Her voice cries out inwardly
Milo was in his room when he heard a cry with his super hearing, he chose to ignore it but when he listens closer to what the person was saying, He hears his name and that familiar voice.
Mate is in danger Rowan alerted and Milo super sped out the room following the cry.
He got to where the cry was the loudest and looks at the door, he didn’t waste one minutes before kicking the door, immediately it did, the door flew out it’s hinges.
Milo enters hurriedly and saw Candy struggling with someone, he looks to the ground to see her bra had already been thrown to the ground, he immediately knew what was going on, Candy was about to get raped.
The Assaulter had his back to him so he didn’t see Milo, Milo walks to him and taps his back, the Assaulter turned in shock and looks towards Milo with his eyes widening at every second.
Milo eyes had turned red, red in anger…He uses super strength to throw the Assaulter to the side, He knew the Assaulter, who would’ve have though his nephew would try raping his mate despite the age difference.
He runs to the direction he threw his nephew and picks him again, throwing his nephew to another side of the wall, his nephew coughed out blood but was still smiling through his bloody teeth.

Milo transformed into his Wolf self so did his nephew and soon they were lunging at each other, Scratching and biting anywhere they could.

Candy eyes were wide when she saw that, she froze on the ground where she was looking shocked, She just witnessed a live fight between wolves.
Rowan(Milo wolf form) turns to her wagging his tail happily, he Ran to her and began licking her face happily, his tail still wagging.
Candy was tempted to smile as she sent her hand to his bead, Rowan snuggles to her hand and soon transformed back to Milo.
Milo hugs her close to him covering her bare b**bs, he felt relieved that she wasn’t raped and if that happened, he would blame himself forever.
Candy noticed and quickly raged the ground for her torn shirt, pushing Milo away slightly and covering her bare b**bs blushing slightly
“Are you alright?” Milo asks and Candy nods.
Milo mind links Knight who came bursting in immediately, he looks to the dead wolf, his eyes widening and then he looks to Milo who have him eye contact and he knew immediately what to do.
Milo stood up, helping Candy to stand also and carrying her bridal style, Candy gasps at the sudden action but later wraps her hand around his neck.
“Never mess with the Alphas Mate” Knight murmured looking at the wolf heart on the ground, shaking his head slightly.
Milo places Candy gently on the bed and then kneeling before her scanning her body for any scar, he saw none and sigh in relief.
Candy looks at him quietly, her heart racing from the way he stared at her body, The care, the warmth in his eyes made butterflies rumble in her tummy.
Milo’s hand went to the clothe around her chest and was about to drag it down when Candy stops him with wide eyes.
“W…What are you doing?” Candy asks stuttering a bit.
“I want to bath you” Milo says seeing a little bit of blood on her body.
“W..what?” Candy says but Milo wasn’t listening and drags the clothe down, Candy eye widens and she pushes him away from her before grabbing the duvet on the bed and hugging it to her body looking at Milo with wide eyes.
Milo looks at her puzzled but when he realized hat he was about to do, his cheeks and ear turns tomato red, Be coughs out awkwardly and immediately stood.
He glances at Candy one last time before walking out of the room still blushing, Rowan made it worse by cooing in his head.
Candy looks at Milo as he left the room and smiles a bit but remembering the incident, her smile faded and she looks to the ground fiddling with her fingers, she wondered what would’ve happened if Milo did come to her rescue.
The way Milo saved her only made her crush for him turn into love, she stood up letting the duvet fall and walks into the bathroom to have her bath and cool her mind.
<<30 MINUTES LATER>>
Milo was in his room working on the files her left when he wanted to save Candy, Candy was on his bed sleeping.
He had walked into his room 20 minutes ago to find her sleeping, he kissed her forehead before starting to work.
Soon a woman barges in, she was in tears looking at Milo in hate, her glare was enough to put him 6 feet’s under.
“HOW COULD YOU? You killed my Son..Your Nephew…He was the only one I have left..WHY?” The woman was now Infront of Milo holding the collar of his shirt tightly trying to choke him.
“He deserved it” Milo says quietly, all this had woken Candy up and now she was just staring at them, they both had no idea she was watching them.
“How dare you open your mouth to say that?? How could you kill your sisters son? My son!” The woman hand had left Milo’s collar and now she was just crying.
“HE TOUCHED MY MATE” Milo says in a loud thundering voice which made the woman shake slightly.
“What?” The woman mutters.
“He messed with my mate, he tried to rape her and you know you aren’t my blood sister but just a girl father picked from the road and brought you up, I don’t care if he was my nephew or if you’re my sister in which you’re not but…”.
“You Mess With My Mate, You Mess With Me” Milo says in a dangerously low audible tone, his eyes flashing red.
“Now Out unless you want me to punish you for shouting at the Alpha” Milo says and the woman, still in tears quietly walking to the door, she notices Candy and their eyes met, The woman glares at her before walking out completely.
Candy looks at Milo, his eyes was still reed as it shone brightly, he looked mad…Candy stood up and walks to him placing her hand on his hand softly.
Milo looks at the contact with affection in his eyes before it completely disappeared, he looks at Candy blankly before asking.
“When’s your birthday?” Candy was surprised at This question but still answered.
“14th of February” She says and Milo nods, she was born in the day of Love, how wonderful.
Candy intwined their hands bringing it up and looking at it, Milo does the same to the other hand, Candy looks at him in the eyes and smiles, Milo just stared blankly.
Candy removes her hand from the intwined and took Milo’s hand, taking it her waist, Milo didn’t waste time before griping it bringing her to himself.
Candy hugs him tightly before saying.
“Thank you ….For Saving me” Candy says into Milo’s chest, he hears and strokes her hair.
“I always save you anytime you’re in need of help Because You’re my Mate” Milo says.
“You’re the Alpha’s Possession” Milo mutters though candy didn’t hear well but she still managed to gea what she said.
Candy removes her head from his chest before raising her head to looks at him, he leans down and kisses her, short but affectionate.
Their lips made a cute pop sound when it left each other and then they smiled before hugging themselves again.
By the door was Isabelle who was looking at them with a dangerous smirk on her face.
“Interesting” She says before leaving there quietly.
Knight who was walking down the hall way saw the smirk that was on Isabelle lips and she looks into the Alphas room, he wondered where the guards were, he saw her walk away with his eyes following them.
“Who are you?” He asks himself squinting his eyes at Isabelle.
Chapter 25 & 26 : The Alpha’s Decision
Isabelle looks around immediately she got to a corner of the mansion, she then turned around as if she was looking for something.
Behind her, a shadow appeared towering over her.
“You Called Me Isabelle” Nathan who was the shadow says.
“Yes Master…..The Alpha and Your Mate are getting closer every minute, I doubt it would be possible to convince her to turn her back against him” Isabelle says looking to the ground, she dare not look Nathan in the eyes.
“I Don’t Care….Find Avery possible way to do so or else you want to end up like your sister” Nathan says as his red eyes glowed.
“Sorry Master”.
“Don’t call me for Stupid things next time if you value your life” Nathan says and disappears.
Isabelle breathes out shakily…
“I’ve been to gentle” She says as a smirk appeared on her face, she walks out the corner with a smile on her face.
Candy was now on Milo’s bed watching him work, she had her legs in the air as she flung it around.
Milo would steal glances at her at intervals, Candy blushes everytime that happens.
“Are You done now?” Candy whines.
“No” Milo says looking so focused.
“You selfish Humans…..” He stops talking when he saw the glare on Candy’s face.
“Uhmm…I mean Those Selfish humans….they are never satisfied” Milo says.
“We are….” Candy argues.
“No you’re not” Milo says and Candy stood.
“We are” She says walking towards him.
“No you’re not” Milo says turning his swivel chair to face Candy who was now In front of him.
“We are” Candy says and Milo pulls her towards him which made her end up on his lap.
“You’re Not” Milo says, his face inches from hers, Candy gulps getting lost in his eyes.
“Okay Maybe we’re not” Candy says unconsciously, Milo smirks and Candy immediately knew he tricked her.
“That’s cheating” Candy says pouting, hitting his chest slightly, Milo smiles looking at her.
His hand went to her face, cupping her cheeks and using his thumb to caress it slowly.
His thought went to what the Deity said and he gulps looking at her….
Few weeks ago, he Hated her sight but now everything’s changes, he can’t bear to lose her, he would die if he did.
He didn’t know what he was feeling, all he knew was that it felt right, His feelings were a confusion to him but it felt good, Soon he would know what they are.
“Milo…Milo…Milo” Candy had been calling his name but he seemed lost in thoughts.
“Hmm” He says immediately he snapped out of his thoughts.
“Are you alright?? I’ve been calling your name but you seemed lost in thoughts” Candy says stroking his chin before going to his ear and then placing her hand flat on his cheeks.
Milo snuggles close to her hand, closing his eyes at the feeling it brought, He sighs out before fluttering his eyes open.
His eyes fell on Candy’s cute and innocent face, he smiles warmly at her Before pulling her in for a hug.
His eyes went to the mirror in his room and he shook a bit seeing The Deity smiling at them before she disappears.
He snuggles his face in her neck for a while… Everywhere was Quiet and the aura was comfortable.
Terry lays in his room looking to the roof, his eyes down turned and dull, He looked sick yet he wasn’t.
He hears a knock on the door and sluggishly walks to it, dragging his leg on the floor before he finally got to it.
He opens it and saw Jade there smiling brightly at him.
“Hello there brother….Did you hear that Harry(The one who messed with Candy) is dead” Jade says walking in uninvited.
“Dead??” Terry asks with wide eyes.
“Rumors were going around that he messed with The Alpha’s Mate” Jade says with an inward Gag when she mentioned The word Mate
“Damn….He really Passed his boundaries” Terry says as his mind went to Candy and how they hadn’t seen themselves for a while, an unconscious smile crossed his face and when Jade saw it, A smirk appeared on her face.
Terry is probably in love with that goody two shoes…Just the perfect plan Jade thought.
“Why are you smirking?” Terry asks seeing the smirk on Jade’s face.
“Nothing” She says feigning an innocent look.
“Hmmm What are you doing here anyways?” Terry asks.
“Can’t I come visit My twin brother?” Jade asks with a pout.
“No you can’t” Terry says dragging her to the door.
“See you…never twin sister” Terry says with a fake smile as he pushed her out and slams the door.
Jade seethes at this angrily before saying.
“Once I’ve used you…I will discard you so don’t be too surprised Twin brother” Jade mutters.
Knight was walking around the garden, he had gone to Milo’s Suite few minutes ago but he looked busy and by busy, he meant Candy.
He spots Isabelle and immediately remembers the suspicious encounter with her an hour ago.
He followed her quietly to see where she was going, she walks through a small path leading to the forest.
Knight follows her quietly and before he knew it, she was gone from his sight, he looks around wondering how she could escape him so fast.
He felt a tap on his back behind him and he turns swiftly to see Isabelle staring at him blankly.
“Why were you following me?” She asked with crossed arms.
Knight nose was immediately filled with her scent and then his inner wolf cried out.
Chapter 27 & 28 : MATE
Knight staggered back looking at her, his heart began to race as her scent continued to linger around his nose.
“No…No..No..No” He mutters repeatedly .
He took little step backwards before turning and running back to the mansion.
Isabelle looks at him perplexed, she wondered why he ran back after seeing her.
“Weird” She says before looking around and began walking back to the direction of the Mansion.
Knight entered his suite, slamming the door behind him as he breathe hard and fast, he had tears in his eyes.
Tears of Happiness because he had always been waiting for the day he would meet his mate.
He was bound to meet her at age 18 but he didn’t, He could finally return to his father’s house without being ashamed.
He smiled brightly cleaning the tears in his eyes before Laughing out, anyone who saw him would think he has ran mad.
“Out of all people in this mansion, The heavens decided to give me that weird, creepy Mortal” He mutters but he did care if she was weird or creepy because the mate bond was already taking place.
<> Milo decided to take a break from working but that doesn’t mean he was slacking off.

“Yes” He lies leaning by the door as he heard it click.

“I’ve worn one…so just come out” Milo says whining a bit.
“Okay” Candy says opening the door only to find Milo still shirtless, she was about to slam it shut when he dragged her out.
They both staggered back till the fell on the bed with Candy untop, her face buried in his shirtless chest.
He smells so nice She screams not wanting to raise her head.
Milo’s hand went to her hair stroking it.
“Can you please stop sniffing me?” Milo says and Candy raises her head.

Candy felt her heart shatter as his voice boomed in her ears.
“Oohk” She says smiling Fakely Before walking towards the door.
Milo heard the door open and then it was slammed close, he removed his hand from his face and walks to the mirror looking at his red glowing eyes and his fangs.
His eyes then caught Candy looking at him with folded arms on the mirror.
He quickly turns only to see her, she was really there.
“I thought I told you to leave” He says, he was trying to control himself from pouncing on her and Making love with her hard.
“I didn’t want to” She says walking towards him.
“Please don’t come near me.. I’m trying not to do what I’ll later regret” He says, his voice coming out weak.

“Better??” Candy asks and he nods before pulling her into a hug.
<> A Figure could be seen walking into a dark cave, upon entering, everyone who saw her bowed.
Walking pass them, the figure walks to the big table, everyone stood bowing, wavering her hands they all sat.
“I have a change of Plans” The Figure says.
“Instead of Killing The Alpha, I want him all to myself” The figure says and everyone began to mutter.
“You can’t do that, we decided long ago to murder him and use his heart to….” One of the them spoke but before he could finish ,he began coughing out blood.
Everyone eyes widens as they watched the man die before them, their eyes then went to the Unknown person who was glaring at the man who spoke.
Soon the man stopped breathing and the unknown person smiles satisfied.
“Anyone else who want to go against me?” The Unknown Person asks but no words was said.
“Good, The day is arriving and when it has, I will finally have Milo all to myself” The Figure says smirking dangerously.
<> “I can feel it” One of the Deity says.
“I can Smell it” Another one spoke.
“I can Sense it” The Deity who always visited Milo and Candy says.
“Danger is coming” They all chorused looking at the orb in their middle.
“This is not Good” They all said at the same time.
