Chapter 6 : Rose’s Resolve
Lily froze on her spot.
They were inside Rose’s Apartment.
“Don’t you know him?” Rose asked.
“I wouldn’t have destroyed the bouquet on his head had I known him” Lily said.
“I spent money to get that bouquet of flowers but you ruined it and how do you get the time to come visit her?” He asked.
“Who are you kid?” Lily asked.
“I’m Kim Min-ho” He said.
“What the!” Lily exclaimed.
“Come here my boy” Lily smiled as she spread her arms. He gave her a look of disbelief and rolled his eyes at her.
“I’m not a kid anymore, girl” He said.
“You now call me a girl.You used to call me Nu-na (Older sister) and gush over me saying I’d be your girlfriend once you turn 18,remember?” She said.
“History” He scoffed.
“Yah!!!” Lily screamed.
“My eardrums” Minho rolled his eyes.
“Don’t let those biceps and sexiness deceive you, bro” Lily smiled.
“I know you find me hot and ideal” He winked.
“You’re just 20 and you’re this flirty?” Lily asked.
“Point of correction turning 21 next month” He smiled making Rose slightly chuckle as she got up.
*Enough, Let’s drink soju” Rose said as she took three bottles of soju from the refrigerator.
“I have to go, manager Kang would scold if I’m not at the dorm by 9;30pm.Bye” Lily said as she got up from the couch.
“You know that’s something I have and you don’t which is freedom” He smirked crossing his legs.Lily scoffed wearing her mask.
“Mabel” She muttered and left.
THE NEXT MORNING*
“Good morning!!!” Minho screamed. Rose sprang up in fear.
“What the” She muttered.Minho was smirking at her.
“Why are you wearing an apron?” She yawned.
“To bath” He smiled.
“It’s sunday so it’s family time.Get up and come eat breakfast” He blew her a kiss.
“What the” She throw a pillow at him making him chuckle.
“Yah,You’ve never had a boyfriend as far as I can remember” He mocked.
“So appreciate it while I’m here” He winked and left.
“I guess he thinks he’s a demigod” She rolled her eyes.
G.G DORM*
“Wake up” Yuna knocked on Olive and Mabel’s room door. She left for the kitchen.
“Good morning,Sweetheart” Lily smiled as she entered the kitchen.
“The smell of ramyeon (Noodles)” Lily sniffed.
“Ramyeon master!” Lily said as she gave Yuna an high five.
“It’s early you know and good morning” Olive said as she sat on the kitchen counter.
“It’s sunday please spare me that attitude” Yuna said as she got a chop board to chop the onions.
“Joh achim” (Good morning) Mabel greeted as she entered the kitchen. Olive rolled her eyes and hissed.
“If you have time for attitudes and grudges then I suppose you have time for rehearsals today” Yuna said.
“What the!, It’s sunday girl” Olive said as she got down from the kitchen counter. Yuna glared at her. Olive swallowed hard and sat back on the counter.Mabel slightly chuckled.
“I’mma have to teach you a lesson soon so be expectant” Olive said glaring daggers at her. Mabel hissed.Lily looked away biting her lower lip to hold laughter. Yuna rolled her eyes as she sighed.
1PM,G.G PRACTICE ROOM*
The girls have a practice room in their dorm.
“It’s this way,Mabel” Lily said as she taught Mabel the dance steps.
“I envy your patience,Lily” Olive muttered making Mabel hiss at her.Yuna shook her head.
YUNA AND LILY’S ROOM*
“Shouldn’t we tell the CEO about Olive and Mabel?” Yuna asked as she turned to look at Lily.
“Why should we do that?” Lily smiled.
“Or maybe talk to manager Kang about it” Yuna said.
“You might not love the entertainment but I do.It hurts me everytime I have to hold in my laughter” Lily slightly chuckled.
“I wonder how they manage to share a bed” Yuna smiled.
“Me too” Lily muttered.
OLIVE AND MABEL’S ROOM*
“Do not cross” Olive said putting a pillow in between them.
“I know,Ok?.So spare me” Mabel scoffed.
“I’m your sunbae remember?” Olive asked as she sat up.
“And we are of same age, Does that ring a bell?, Sunbae my foot” She hissed.
“Damn you!” Olive snapped.
Damn me!,Well F you!” Mabel snapped back as she sat up.Olive’s blood boiled in rage at her guts. “You tenacious b*ch.Nepotiship girl!” Olive fired. Mabel eyes widened in rage.
*What the!!!” She fired back grabbing Olive’s hair. Olive grabbed her hair tightly.
“Let go!” Mabel struggled.
“You bchy bch!!!” Olive said increasing her grip on Mabel’s hair. The pain was much that Mabel was at the verge of crying.
“Wait,Isn’t that Mabel and Olive’s voice?” Yuna said.
They jumped out of the bed.
They barged into the room in a hurry. They separated the girls from each other.
“You b**ch!” Mabel shouted with teary eyes.
“Wait a minute” Lily said as she looked at Olive’s hand.There was a handful of Mabel’s hair. Yuna bit her lower lip. Lily burst out in laughter. Mabel burst out in tears. Olive stuck out her tongue at her.
Chapter 7 : Ryan’s Unpredictable Behavior

TWILIGHT DORM*
Twilight is the biggest male kpop group in south Korea. It’s made up of four members.
Choi Paul is a korean.He’s 22 years old.He’s the main vocalist and dancer.
Dante is an Italian guy.He’s 20 years old and he’s the main rapper and the youngest of the group.
Richard Alan is an American.He’s 21 years old.He’s Olive’s twin brother. He’s a vocalist,sub-rapper, the group’s leader and visual.
Rain is a Thai guy. He’s 22 years old. He’s a sub-vocalist and the main dancer.
“Aren’t you guys ready yet?” Rain asked from the living room as he switched off the TV. There was no response.He sighed as he shook his head in disbelief.
FIVE MINUTES LATER*
“All set” Paul smiled as he wore his jacket.
“You guys took forever” Rain complained.They all blinked at him trying to get cute.
“Don’t you dare” He chuckled.He turned to walk to the door, Alan jumped on his back.He chuckled as Alan wrapped his arms around him.
LIMELIGHT ENTERTAINMENT*
“No, It’s this way Mabel” Lily said.
“Disadvantage of nepotism” Olive rolled her eyes. Olives phone rang. She smiled as he appeared on the screen.
“Hi kiddo” He smiled.
“Can you please not show me that cute smile today?” She gushed.
“I can’t help it kiddo” He chuckled.
“You call me kiddo but we’re twins boy” She said.
“I know for sure that I’m the eldest.Which means I came out first” He smiled.
“Dream on” She scoffed and Rain appeared on the screen.
“Hi” He waved. Mabel ran to where Olive was when she heard his voice.
“Rainbow Oppa” She smiled.Olive gave her a bombastic side eye.
Rainbow is a name given to Rain by his fans.
“Hi” Rain waved.

“And what was the meaning of that?” Olive asked.
“A digital fan meet and greet” Mabel smiled and walked away heading to Lily.

“Hi dad” Ryan smiled as he got up from his seat as his dad entered the office. He made to hug him but his dad walked past him.Ryan smiled. He sat on a couch opposite his dad.
“Good day dad” He said.
“Why haven’t you come to the mansion?” His dad asked.
“Mr Park” He smiled.
“I’ve been busy and besides I have a house of my own” He said.
“Are you indirectly reminding me that you have a house and resources to play around with?” His dad asked. Ryan smiled.
“Why do I feel like you came here for another reason?” Ryan smiled. His dad slightly chuckled.
“Your mom said she was insulted by Rose” His dad said.
“She wasn’t insulted,They only had a conversation” Ryan stated.
“Are you saying your mom lied?” Mr Park raised a brow.
“I never did” He said.Rose came in with two cups of coffee. She took a bow and served the coffee. She made to leave.
“Did you insult Mrs Park?” Mr Park asked. She swallowed hard as she looked at Ryan. Ryan looked away as he sipped his coffee.
“Mr Park has never be cold to me. I’m sure he’s gonna become like her after I tell him what happened” She thought as she looked at Ryan’s dad.

“Why did you put too much sugar in my coffee?” Ryan asked as he drop the cup on the table. She looked at him.
“I’m sorry” She bowed.
“Get out of my sight” He said coldly as he crossed his legs. She took a bow and left.
“I hope she isn’t hurt” He thought as he watched her leave the office.
“What’s going on between you too?” His dad asked.
“What do you mean?” He asked.
“You asked her to get out of your sight but your eyes said something different” His dad.
“You’re kinda misinterpreting the whole stuff.It’s just a formal relationship” He asked as he sipped his coffee.
“It shouldn’t be more than that” His dad stated.
BLOOM ENTERTAINMENT*
Twilight is signed under bloom entertainment. The boys are in the gym.Their manager came in.
“Good morning,Twilights” He smiled.
“Good morning,Manager Kim” They said in unison.
“Do not forget the fan sign event tomorrow” He said.
“My pals and I won’t disappoint” Alan smiled.Manager Kim winked making the boys chuckle.
THE NEXT DAY*
The boys were tired but he had to keep on smiling anf bending their heads for hand bands given to them by their fans. Alan yawned.

After an hour,They were done. Alan was too tired to walk that he had to hop on Rain’s back.Though Alan might be the leader of the group but he’s still the baby of the group. Fans gushed.

👥 ; “I’m so jealous”
Alan had to hide his face on Rain’s back because he felt shy.
Chapter 8 : Conflicting Emotions
ROSE’S PLACE*
“Where is that loose mouth?” Lily asked.
“He went back to school and why are you here?” Rose asked.
“I feel so unwelcomed” Lily said as she sipped her beer.
“How do you find the time to come visit me almost every night?” Rose raised a brow.
“I ask for permission and I sneak out at times” She winked.
“I pray a ssaeng (paparazzi) doesn’t trail you someday” Rose said as she picked the remote up from the table to switch on the TV. Lily hissed.
“What is it?” Rose asked.
“Am I the only one that thinks Rain is an overestimated idol?” Lily scoffed.
“Huh?”
“He isn’t that good-looking but everyone hypes him” She hissed.
“I know, right?” Rose scoffed.
“I knew I wasn’t the only one” Lily smiled.
“For the first time, I don’t like a guy with long hair” Rose scoffed as she sipped her beer.Lily took the remote from her and began switching channels.
Rose smiled as she looked at her.She said those things only to make Lily feel she wasn’t the only one that dislikes Rain.
LUXURY HOTEL*
“I wonder why she isn’t at work yet?” Ryan muttered as he looked at his wristwatch.He left his office and went to stay inside his car.
Immediately, He saw Rose he horned.She dropped her coffee in fear.
“Jinjja Minchin” (Really crazy) She muttered in frustration as she ran her hand in her hair. Ryan horned again. She turned and saw him smirking. She glared daggers at him. He came out of the car. Rose folded her hands under her b**bs.
“You can’t impress me by doing that” He smiled.Rose mouth widened.
“I know I’m breathtaking enough to make you speechless but you should close your mouth a fly might go in,You know” He winked. She dropped her hands down.
“What the” She scoffed.
“Your guts” He rolled his eyes.
“I’ve to finish up my work today I have somewhere important to go to” She smiled, took a bow and left.
“If you take one more step you’re fired” He said.Rose stopped on her tracks.
“I got you under control” He smirked.
“Watch me” She turned and smiled at him.She began cat walking.

“Isn’t he in his office?,Why is he calling my line instead of the telephone?” She muttered as she looked at her phone which was ringing.It rang the first time, s
She didn’t pick. It rang the second time,She ignored it and then it rang for the third time,She waited a little bit and picked the call putting it on speaker.
“Hello” She said as she typed.
“Didn’t you see my missed calls?” He asked.
“I didn’t miss them,I ignored them” She said.
“What the?,I can’t find my second phone.Could you help check my office if you’d find it?” He said.Rose sighed.
“Ok” She said as she got up.
She opened his drawers but she couldn’t find it.
“Where could it be?” He asked.
“We don’t share a phone remember?” She hissed.
“Found” She said as she saw it on a couch.
“Don’t touch it!” He shouted.
“I won’t but it’ll there for you to come carry it yourself” She said.
“You can leave my office” He said and hung up.
“What the” She hissed.
Ryan’s phone dinged it was a message from his mom.His lock wallpaper was a photo of a girl’s shadow.
“I never knew a guy like him could fall in love” She scoffed and left.

“Wow, Perfect!” Lily clapped.Mabel was happy as she finally got the steps to perfection.
“Nepotism finally paid off” Olive smirked.Mabel hissed.
“I guess we’re good to go.You’ll be revealed to the public tomorrow and I’m sure our fans would love you. Our concert is next week so be ready love” Yuna winked at her.
“The fans would really love her when they find out that she got here through nepotism when thousands of people auditioned for her position” Olive said with a tone of mockery in her voice.Lily shook her head.
6PM, LUXURY HOTEL*
“Where is she?” Ryan muttered as he tried rose line for the umpteenth time.
“She has developed a new habit of ignoring my calls” He hissed.He got up from his seat.He went to her office but couldn’t find her there.
Coincidentally,Scarlett came in.He turned,Scarlett quickly reversed as she saw him.
“Where is she?” He asked.She swallowed hard.
“Rose told me he knows that we bad mouth him behind his back” She swallowed hard at her thought. She smiled and took a bow.
“Annyeonghaseyo Sajangnim” (Hello Boss) She smiled.
“Where is she?” He folded his arms.
“She said she was going on a blind date” She said.
“So that was what she meant when she said she had somewhere to go to” He muttered.
“What?” She asked.
“Where is she going to meet up with him?” He asked.She gave him the address.He made to open the door then he stopped on his tracks.
“I know what you guys say about me…But I’d advice you to be on your toes” He turned to look at her.
“This month’s salary might be in danger” He said and left.
“I’m in trouble” Scarlett said worriedly.
Chapter 9 : The Price of Freedom

Ryan has been searching for Rose but he couldn’t find her. He went upstairs. His eyes widened. A guy was wiping Rose’s lips.
“Are you fine?” He asked.
“I’m fine” She smiled.Ryan held his fists in anger. He smirked as he thought of a plan.He walked towards them. He let go of his car keys as he reached the table where Rose was.
“I’m sorry” He said as he picked up the keys. Rose recognized that fragrance.
“It’s Ryan” She thought as she quickly looked away. Ryan tapped on her shoulder.
“Oh, It’s you Rose.It’s been a while” He smiled.
“Do you know him?” Her date asked.
“She’s my friend’s girlfriend” He smiled.Rose eyes widened.
“Are you in a relationship?” The guy asked.
“Yeah,She is and not only that she’s two months pregnant” He smiled.
“Is he your new catch?, I’m disappointed” Ryan sighed.
“I’m sorry.I can’t be with you” The guy said and left. Rose sprang up in anger.
“What did you do!” She snapped.
“You’re supposed to be working but you are on a date!” He snapped back.
“Damn you!” She spat and left. He went to his car, He got in. He made to start the car.
“Why did I do that?” He muttered.
“She doesn’t even know about my feelings” He muttered as he got his phone and unlocked it.His wallpaper was Rose’s picture.He shed a tear and quickly wiped it off.
“I have to hold onto her or let go” He said as he started the car.
THE NEXT MORNING*
Ryan has arrived but he was in his car waiting for Rose.
“Why isn’t she here yet?” He muttered.
“I have to apologize,I’mma let go of her.There’s no way she’ll be with me with the way mom torments her” He muttered.
“There she is” He muttered. He got down from his car. He held her hand.
“Let go.You ruined my date so be kind enough not to ruin my day” She muttered as she removed her hand from his grip.
“I’m sorry” He muttered.
“There’s no need to” She said and left.
“Yeah,I’ll let go of you but I’d never forget you.I’ll keep you and our memories in my heart forever” He muttered as he shed a tear.
ROSE’S OFFICE*
“Who is he to ruin my date and apologize like it was just a joke” She said as she sat down.Her phone rang. It was Ryan.
“He should let me be” She muttered as she switched off her phone.
“Let me calculate something” She muttered. She smiled as she saw the amount she has paid in her dad’s debt.
“I wish I could see who pays me 500,000 won and also pay in the debt” She muttered slowly.
“I have five million won to go” She smiled.
“Mom’s money for upkeep” She thought.
“I’ll do it later but I sure have to celebrate this…The Park’s torment in my life is coming to an end soon” She smiled.
RYAN’S OFFICE*
“You have all right to be angry but at least you’ll be happy after all you leave then you won’t have to see me again” He muttered.
“Are you sure you wanna let go of her?” His mind mocked.
“I might not want to but I have to” He muttered.
“Wait, I have a way to figure out my fate” He smiled as he got a pen and a paper. He tore two little pieces and wrote “Let go” and “Hold onto” on the other one. He folded them and threw them on the floor.
“Which should I pick?” He thought. He picked one, He closed his eyes as he opened the paper. He slowly opened his eyes.He smiled.
“I’mma hold onto her then” He smiled.Rose came in.
“And there goes my heartbeat” He thought.
She placed her resignation letter on his table. He pushed it to her side.
“And who is this for?” He smiled.
“For me…It’s for me” She said slowly.
“I have to hold onto you so you can’t go” He said.
“What do you mean?” She muttered.
“I….I….I mean…..Yeah….I mean you haven’t paid off your dad’s debt” He said.
“I hope she doesn’t find it offensive that I reminded her of her dad” He thought.
“He’s talking about my dad for the first time” Rose thought.
“I have just five million won left so I can leave…but I’ll get another job and pay off the debt” She muttered as she pushed it back to his side.
“Why can’t you stay back?”
“I have dreams….I never wanted to become a personal assistant….I’ve always wanted to be a singer….To stand on stage and watch people….scream my name” She smiled slowly.
“The park’s never gave her the chance to accomplish her dreams” He thought.
“Ok,But you have to stay back” He said.
“Why?”
“I want interest.I’m not greedy so 50% is enough” He said.
“What the!” She exclaimed.
“Watch me” He said as he took her resignation letter and tore it.
“I’ll do whatever it takes to make you mine even it means becoming a cold boss” He thought as he tore the letter into pieces.
“I don’t have time to waste so use the door, Miss Kim Jisoo Rose” He said firmly.Rose left.
“Just wait,I’ll make you fall for me without you even realizing it” He smiled as he looked at Rose’s picture on his phone.
Chapter 10 : A Break in the Ice
SEOUL OLYMPIC STADIUM*
Glitter Girls were having their concert. It was all fun until Mabel and Olive couldn’t hide their grudge for each other. Olive was rapping then Mabel decided to cut in.
👥: “She kinda sucks at rapping”.
👥: “With the way Olive is looking at her, it’s obvious they’re on bad terms”
👥: “Those two are on bad terms…I wonder why”
Olive lines were so tough that Mabel had to stop to catch her breathe.
“Jeez” Lily scoffed.
It was now Mabel’s turn to sing her verse.She was singing fine but when it was time for her to do a high note.She voiced crack.Olive smirked.
👥: “This has never happened in the history of Glitter Girls”
👥 : “How did she pass her audition?”
👥: “It’s obvious she wanted to compete with Olive”
Fans murmured among themselves.
“I have a gift for a lucky fan” Lily said and everyone’s eyes turned to her.
“I’ll give away my hoodie” She smiled.
👥: “Omo,That hoodie costs thousands of dollars”
👥 : “I wish I was in the front row”
Lily removed her hoodie and threw it in the crowd. She chuckled as she watched fans struggle to get it.
TWILIGHT DORM*
“I’m so bored” Paul yawned.
“Same here” The rest said in unison.
“I miss those days when I could walk freely and do whatever I want” Alan said.
“You can do that,You can go hold hands with a girl in public but be ready to see yourself on kpop news” Dante said as he sat on the floor.
“You’re so addicted to the floor like what’s up bro?” Alan chuckled.Dante scoffed.
“Let’s have a singing competition” Rain suggested.
“Nice” Alan winked.
Each of them picked a song of their choice and sang beautifully.It was time for Alan to sing. He picked ‘Easy On Me’ by ‘Adele’. He was singing it effortlessly with passion.It was time for him to sing the high note.
“And in this silence,
Baby,let me in,
Go easy on me baby” He stressed the word ‘easy’ effortlessly. The rest clapped for him making him smile.
“You’re a leader for a reason you know” Rain said.
“If I were to do that by now my lungs would be on the floor” Dante chuckled.
“Can you lend me a little bit of your talent?,I promise to return it in our next life” Paul said making the rest chuckled.

After Yuna and Lily scolded the girls.The girls apologized,Yuna and Lily decided to forget the issue. They’re currently chilling out in the practice room. Manager Kang came in.
“The boss wants to see you” He said.

“C.E.O” Olive muttered in fear.
“The last time I was scolded was during my trainee days…Just pray I don’t get scolded or else” Yuna warned before she left the room.

They all took a bow in respect as they entered his office.
“Lily and Yuna,Step aside” He said.They stood by the door.
“Come forward Olive and Mabel” He said.
“What was the meaning of you guys did on stage?” He asked.
“I didn’t do anything it was Mabel” Olive said.
“Joesonghamnida(I’m sorry)” Mabel said as she bowed.
“Do you want to go back to Hongdae and continue being a bar attendant?” He asked.
“Omo,This brat was a bar attendant” Olive smirked at her thought.
“I can’t believe he’s saying my life story in Olive’s presence” Mabel thought. She glared at Olive.
“Are you two on bad terms?” He asked.
“We’re on worst terms not bad terms” Mabel said.
“How is that possible when you haven’t spend a month with them?” He asked as he looked at Mabel.They both fell silent.
“Come forward” He said to Lily and Yuna.
“Tell me everything in detail” He said.Yuna narrated everything.
“Omo!,Let me see” He said and Mabel lowered her head.
“It’s in the middle” She said.
“Aigo (Oh my goodness)” He muttered.

“Here” Rose said as she kept a file on his desk.
“And where are the rest?” He asked.
“The printer is broken” She said.
“Shouldn’t you fix it?” He asked as he crossed his legs.
“I don’t know how to” She muttered.
“Take the file and bring it to me with the rest” He said as he looked at the door.
“He’s indirectly telling me to use the door” She thought.
“Ok” She took a bow and left.

“He always helped fix the printer and now he’s telling me to fix it myself” Rose muttered.Ryan came in. He was shocked when he saw Rose’s face.It was blacked with ink.He bit his lip to hold in his laughter.
“How will I act cold when she looks like this?” He thought.
“Don’t you know by now that I hate to waste my time?” He said.
“I’m sorry” She took a bow.Ryan looked away,He smiled.
“I came to help not admire” He thought. He frowned his face.
“Get out of the way” He said coldly.
“Why does it feel like he’s faraway even though he’s in front of me?” Rose muttered as she shed a tear.
“Why do I feel like a part of me is missing?” She thought as she wiped it.
