Chapter 40 & 41 : The Wedding Anniversary
A Gunshot was heared and Blood splatters
“Noooooo!!!!”
<> Kiara got there and was looking around, she didn’t know how Bunny buns looked but she was trying her luck.
Soon after she receives a message from Bunny buns.
💌 Go to the end of the wall by walking straight then turn left, I am by the window; she reads out.
She starts to walk towards that direction and getting there she saw him but he had his back turned to her.
She got to him and tapped his back and when he turned she was shocked.
“Kel?”
“Kiara?”
They both called out in shock.
Amelia shouts as Dan shoots Chloe’s hand before she could pull the trigger.
“Arghh” Chloe shouts in agony and the gun drops from her hand.
“LPD, put your hand up, I repeat hands up in the air” Dan shouts with authority and the Chloe’s goons went on their knees as other policemen came and took them out.
<> Dan and his backup were scattered around the building, Dan started to feel uneasy and distressed, he wanted to ignore the feeling but something kept telling him to go into the house.
He walked in giving other officers a sign to follow quietly and he did, he saw a door and opened it but it was empty then he began walking forward and soon he started hearing voices and he walks towards the direction.
He got there and places his ear on the door and heard the cocking of a gun and he quickly entered and shot Chloe’s hand.
The Officer had untied Grey and he quickly rushes towards Amelia who was slowly loosing consciousness.
“Baby stay with me” He says tapping her cheeks but her eyes were drowsy.
“Cutie, Lia stay with me please” He says Again and in few seconds her eyes went shut.
The officers were taking the goons out and Lieutenant Dan was starting to walk towards Chloe who quickly used her left hand to grab the gun and says.
“I Must have my revenge” She says and pulls the trigger which went through Grey’s back and he coughed up blood on Amelia’s face.
Dan eyes widened and he withdraw his gun and shot Chloe on the left hand before she could shoot again.
Other police officers called an ambulance and In few minutes their sirens were heard in which Amelia and Grey were loaded into the back and were immediately rushed to the hospital while Becky who was found in one of the other room was also taken to the hospital.
Mrs Dante, Natalia, Mr Dante, Mrs Jones, Mr Jones, Mia were seated on a couch when Mrs Jones phone rang and she picked in a depressed manner.
“Hello” She says to the caller.
“Sorry am I talking to Mrs Jones?” The nurse who called asks.
“Yes, who is this?” Mrs Jones asks.
“Ma’am your daughter has been rushed to Saint Paul hospital along with her husband and an unknown girl” The nurse said and before she could say more Mrs Jones cut the call and stood up, Mr Jones who saw this walked to her.
“Honey what’s wrong?” He asks seeing his wife who was in a worse state.
“Amelia, Grey hospital” Sr says in simple words and Mrs Dante stood up along with Mia and without sharing words, they all rushes to their cars and soon were on the road.
<>Mrs Jones was the first to get down the car and rushes to the receptionist who immediately recognizes her because they were really popular.
“Mrs Jones you are here, please follow me” The nurse says and Mrs Jones and others followed until they stopped in front of an operation room (OR)
“Your daughter is okay since she was brought right on time, her baby is fine and no harm was caused, she fell unconscious due to stress and fear and has been given a ward but I fear her husband is going through a lot, he was shot through the back on the left side, due to the CT scan the bullet was found some few meters away from his heart” The nurse in charge says and Mrs Jones lost her balance and falls to the ground along with Mrs Dante.
“Mom” Mia and Natalia shouts and goes to their mom helping them to the receptionist seat.
<>A doctor steps out and Mr Dante stood up quickly.
“Doctor how is my son?” He asks in fear.
“The Good news is He is out of danger for now but the bad news is Your son has fallen into a come, He might Gain consciousness in weeks, months, years, it depends on how he react to treatments given to him” The doctor says and bows before going back in and soon Grey was pushed out.
Mrs Dante who saw him burst out Into tears and rushes to his side.
“Baby mom’s here, wake up, laugh and tease me like you always do please, please baby” Mrs Dante sobs out her words, Mia moved to her brother and hold his hands.
“Bro, it me Mia, please open your eyes for me, Spend much on me like you always do, spoil me rotten, call me you one and only girlfriend, please just open your eyes” Mia sobs and Natalia who saw this had tears rolling out her eyes, Mrs Jones moves to Mrs Dante and engulf her in a hug.
“It’s alright, he’s going to be fine” Mrs Jones comforts.
>Amelia eyes flickered open as the brightness hit it directly which made her close it back.
Mrs Jones who was staring at Amelia stood up immediately, others had gone home to freshen up and bring food.
“Baby are you alright?? any pain??” Mrs Jones asks and rings the doctor up, few minutes later the doctor walks in began to check her soon he was done and walks to Mrs Jones.
“She’s alright now so is her baby” He tells her.
“Sorry doctor, how many weeks is the baby?” Mrs Jones asks.
“2 and a half weeks ma’am” The doctor says and Mrs Jones nodded, the doctor then walks out.
Mrs Jones helps Amelia to sit up.
“Mom, where’s Grey?” Amelia asks and Mrs Jones went mute, Amelia notices this and tears pools in her eyes ready to fall.
“Momm” Amelia drags cautiously.
“Amelia, Grey is..”.
“Mom don’t tell me pls” Amelia cuts in .
“Don’t tell me he is dead” Amelia adds quietly and Mrs Jones ears sparks up.
“No baby, he isn’t dead, he got shot and now he’s in a coma” Mrs Jones says and Amelia eyes widens.
“Coma?” Amelia asks and Mrs Jones nodded.
“No,No,No,No” Amelia says trying to get out of bed though she was weak.
“No baby, you have to rest” Mrs Jones objected but Amelia was stubborn.
“Mom I need to go see him” Amelia says crying but Mrs Jones was not letting her.
“Mom please I need to go see him” Amelia shouts this time trying to push her mom, at that moment Natalia and Mr Jones enters and rushes to them.
“Dad please tell mom to let me go see Grey” Amelia begs her dad.
“You need rest Lia” Natalia says and Amelia who heard the name “Lia” Burst into more ears still trying to go out the ward.
“Don’t Stress yourself, it’s not Good for the baby” Mrs Jones shouts at her and Amelia froze.
“Baby?” Sh asks to make sure she heard her mom right.
“Yes baby, you are pregnant, two weeks pregnant, it’s not good to stress yourself” Mrs Jones says softly and Amelia slowly sits on her bed before saying.
“I don’t want it” She says loud enough for everyone to hear.
“What?” They all asked and Amelia nodded.
“Amelia you can’t do this, you can’t reje…” Natalia was cut off by Amelia.
“I don’t want it if Grey isn’t here, I don’t want it if he can’t look me in the eyes and kiss me, I don’t” Amelia shouts and they all rushed to engulf her in a hug.
“Baby, think of Grey, what If he wakes up and finds out you aborted his first child, I know it’s hard and you miss him but think of the life you are going to waste, we are all here for you” Mrs Jones says when they broke the hug and others nodded.
“I Love you guys” Amelia says emotionally.
We Love you too” They all said and hugs again, The doctor who was watching by the door smiles and walks away so as not to disrupt the lovely moment.
<<3 MONTHS LATER>>
3 months has pass and Grey was still in a coma, Amelia by the way had her baby bump showing, she was now in the 300 level, she still went to school despite being pregnant, she turned 19 few weeks ago and she celebrated it with her family before celebrating it with unconscious Grey. she comes to the hospital every day and talk about her day to Grey, she was dying inside and tried not to show it.
Liam found out about Becky and he has become so protective of her in which she loved, though she had become skinny he still loves her
Sunny and Flynn started dating a month ago and were tagged best couple of 300 level students, Sunny never forgot Via and didn’t bother replacing her.
As for Myles and Mia, They started dating 2 months ago and their relationship was fire, Mia was now 16 and her anticipation to be 18 was killing her and by killing her I meant the joy.
Ethan and Candy were now engaged and Linda who was in love with Grey had found someone else who was named Dylan and were also engaged.
Kiara and Kel are now dating and Kiara is the most overprotective Girlfriend you could ever find, though funny, annoying and fun to be with, she was on Kel’s neck 24/7, he fired all female in his company and replaced them with men and some old women all because of Kiara, yeah that’s how possessive she is.
Chloe trial had not been done but was held on hold Because Amelia wants Grey to be there to witness the trial.
Today, Amelia came back from school and headed home to change before heading to the hospital, She enters Grey wards and Grey was still in the same condition, he was breathing on his own now as the Oxygen tank had been removed.
She walks towards him, sat down and held his hands she talks about how her day went, every single details, she also laughs to the funny part and soon she grew tired of talking and just stared at him, bringing her hand to his hair and stroking it, she then moves to his eyes and felt his eyebrow then his eyelashes.
She moves her hand to his lips and caress it before leaning in for a kiss, she pecks his lips gently and soon after her Stomach grumbles, she ignores it and continues to stroke Grey’s hair, her stomach grumbles again and she stood up .
“I have to go get some food now, I’ll come back as soon as possible” Sr says to unconscious Grey and walks out.
<>Kel was laying on the bed and Kiara was untop of him, her eyes closed though she wasn’t sleeping.
Kel’s hand were on her butt, he was deep in thoughts, Kiara looks at him and says.
“Bunny what’s wrong?” She asks.
“I’m thinking” He replies.
“Grey right?” She asks and he nodded.
“I miss him” He whispers and a tear slips out his eyes, Kiara wipes it.
“Me too” She rolls off him to his side and hugs his face to her chest, a tear rolls out her eyes also.
“I miss him a lot” She says in her mind.
( she doesn’t love Grey anymore, he’s her Best friend so she misses him as a friend).
Amelia enters and turns to close the door back and facing her from she sees a figure by the window and then she looks to the bed seeing it empty.
“Grey” she calls out and he turns having a smile on his face.
“Cutie” He also call out.
All the food Amelia bought drops from her hand as she runs to him and then jumps on him Crying loudly on his shoulder, Grey also had tears in his eyes, Amelia slightly touches his wound and he flinches in pain Inwardly.
Amelia removes her head from his s shoulder and leans In for a kiss, oh how she has missed his touches and kisses, his words and actions
“Don’t ever leave me Again” She warns him in a sweet and soft tone.
“Never again My Miss Perfect, Never again” Grey says and their lips touches immediately.
Chapter 42 & 43 (SEMI- FINALE) : The Proposal

“He responded fast to the treatment, people in his condition would have been in a coma for at least a year, You have a strong son” The doctor says and walks out.
Amelia has been clinging to Grey ever since he woke up, right now Grey Is sitted on the hospital bed and Amelia straddling him with her head buried in his chest.
Mrs Dante walks towards him with tears In her yes.
“C’mon mom, I’m fine” Grey says smiling while using one of his hand to touch his mom’s hair and she nodded.
Mr Dante walks towards Grey and smacks his head.
“Next time you scare us like that, I’ll kill you” He says jokingly but he truly meant it.
“Bro” Grey says groaning in pain and his dad smacks him again.
“How dare you call your dad a bro” Mr Dante says and Grey smiles.
Mia walks up to him next and grey smiles at her.
“Uhmm Bro there’s this bag that just came out and it cost 4 million dollars, can you buys y for me?” She asks and Grey smiles.
“Sure girlfriend” Grey says and Amelia raised her head up.
“Girlfriend??” She asks and looks to the side to see who Grey was calling girlfriend and seeing Mia she sighs in relief.
Others who saw this laughs out loud, soon after the door slams open and Kel steps in with Kiara.
“Baby” Kel calls in a girlish voice rushing to hug Grey but getting there he saw Amelia on Grey’s lap and he stops.
“Uhmm Mrs Dante junior, I wanna hug my baby” Kel says to Amelia and receives a glare in return in which he gulps seeing.
Kiara steps forward wanting to hug Grey but Amelia quickly blocked her and receives the hug instead.
Others laughs again and everywhere grew silent, others knew they had to leave the couples to talk so they made up excuses.
“I’m gonna go home and Prepare some food for you Grey, Bye” Mrs Dante says and Pulls Mr Dante with her and they walked out, Natalia follows.
“Mom I want food too” Natalia shouts after her mom and walks out.
“We are good na go now ,we got uhmm.. some.. uhm yeah things to do” Kiara says.
“No we don…” Kiara grabbed Kel by the ear and started pulling him out before he completed his words.
Only Grey and Amelia were left in the room, words weren’t said but they shared messages with their eyes.
“I wanna tell you something” Amelia starts feeling nervous, she wants to tell Grey about the baby.
‘What if he rejects it?’

These were the thoughts running through her mind, Grey saw her hesitant face and pecks her lips.
“You can tell me whenever you are comfortable, it’s alright” Grey assures her and Amelia nodded.
“I have to tell you now” Amelia says and Grey nodded.
“I am Carrying Grey Junior” Amelia closes her eyes and says the word one after the other carefully.
She said it and everywhere grew extra quiet and akward, she slowly opens her eyes and sees Grey who had a blank expression on.
“It’s okay if you don’t want it, I…” Amelia says feeling her heart breaking, Her words were cut off by Grey.
“Who said I don’t want it?” He says releasing a bright smile.
“F*ck am gonna be a father, WOAHH” He got down the bed with Amelia in his arms and spun her around, he stops and looks her In the eye
“I love you Amelia Jones” he says passionately.
“I Love you Grey Dante” She says back and they both locked lips.
<<2 WEEKS LATER>>
Grey has been discharged from the hospital and was suffering, Amelia always had mood swings, weird craving, anger issues an it was all directed at him.
He once went to work with a leg of shoe without knowing and it was all because Amelia didn’t allow him to sleep so he took a leave from work but works at home.
“Greyyyy” Amelia shouts from the parlor and Grey rushes down, his eyes had bags under it, His hair was ruffled and looked like it lacked nutrient.
“Yes Lia” Grey answers once he got to her.
“You.. Calle..dd me Lia ..ins..tead of Cutie” Amelia says at the verge of tears and Grey eyes widened.
“No baby don’t cry please” He begs her but Amelia didn’t stop.
“You have someone else don’t you?? Bcus I am now fat you find me unattractive” she suddenly bursts out in anger and Grey sighs ruffling his hair, he is trying to hold in his frustration and it seems it was at the tip and he knew he would Burst out in anger if she didn’t stop.
“Cutie Whatcha want?? what can I do to make up for it?” He asks and immediately regrets it.
“Hmm I want Some pineapple, apple, oranges, mini sized pizza, some ice cream, uhmm a small white puppy, Mac and cheese with a lot of cheese and some chocolate, not dark chocolate I want creamy nut chocolate” She listed out and Grey eyes widens.
“And you wanna eat all that?” He asks surprised.
“Yes” Amelia says rubbing her tummy which was bulging out a little since it was just 3 months.
“Okay” Grey says and walks out.

He walks to her and drops the food in the table in front of her including the white puppy which was in a cage, Amelia shrieks in excitement and opens the bag but her smile dies Down seeing what’s inside.
“I said I don’t want dark chocolate, and who told you to buy red apples, I wanted green” She burst out in anger and Grey lost it.
“Seriously Lia, why? Why can’t I have peace in my own house?? Do you know I was in an important meeting when you called me? And now I lost a billion dollars contract because of you, I tried to be patient,.I f*cking tried but you are just so Fucking annoying, I haven’t slept well for the past 5 nights and yet i can’t rest, I took a leave from my company because of you and yet its not enough, My Company went from No.1 to No. 5 Amelia, I Love you a lot Lia but am so tired” Grey shouts in anger with tears almost flowing out his eyes.
Amelia gulps in guilt and tried touching him.
“Grey” she moves closer to him but he stretches a arm out.
“Not now Amelia, Not now” He says and walks upstairs leaving Amelia there who sat back on the couch and Tears starts to flow out her eyes
“It’s not my fault i got pregnant” Amelia says with tears rolling down her eyes , she lost her appetite already.
Grey could be seen pacing the room with guilt.
“Why did I do that?” He asks him self as his guilt trippled.
“It’s not her fault she got pregnant” He says again.
“It’s all because of you” He says hitting his d*ck but ended up groaning in pain.
<>Grey and Amelia didn’t talk throughout the whole day, Amelia had body pain and it seems to be trippling every minute, she wants to go meet Grey but his words held her back.
She walks Into the room with so much difficulty, she heard sounds in the bathroom indicating Grey was in there, she went to lay on the bed and soon after Grey walks out.
He spots Amelia on the bed but act like she wasn’t there, he went into the closet and few minutes later he comes out in his pyjamas, Amelia watches his every movement with sadness in her eyes.
Grey walks to her and she wonders why, He suddenly goes on his knees and Amelia gasps sitting up.
“I’m sorry, for shouting, for complaining , for blaming you,.is not your fault you got pregnant and I’m sorry, you can send me around anytime you want, you can tell me anything okay” Grey apologizes and Amelia smiles.
“I’m also sorry” She says and Grey stood up and hugs her but she groans In Pain and Grey stood in alert.
“What’s wrong?” He asks.
“My body aches” She answers and Grey was confused, She was only in her 3rd month of pregnancy, why is she experiencing body pain
“Lay on your stomach, let me give you a massage” He says and Amelia did as he said, He starts to give her a massage and Amelia could feel the pain drifting and instead Sleep was coming in.
“I love you” She whispers falling asleep, Grey smiles and pecks her lips.

“Grey” she steps out the room hut everywhere was dark she managed to find her way to the stairs and immediately she stepped on one stair, lights illuminated down the stairs, thee were artificial candles places on each stair.
Amelia’s mouth was wide open as she saw it, rose petals were everywhere, she looks around and spots a piece of paper stuck to the wall, she opens it and reads.

Reaching the end of the stairs, she saw another paper stuck to the rail of the stairs, she takes it and opens it reading out.

Amelia blushed harder this time and walks to the garden, everywhere was very dark and immediately she steps in, she looks around to see if she would see any paper and She did, she take it and reads out.

“Okay here I go, You coming into my life was a miracle, you took away my sadness, You were the best, best friend I could ask for, All the time I spent with you made me realize we were destined to be love than friends, It’s like my love for you is on a never ending flight. everytime I see a light, it reminds me our love can’t be measured, no height. I wanna stay with you with all my might, with you I wanna be every night, i want you to officially bear my last name so i ask you, Will you marry me and not be the woman of my dream but the woman of my reality?” He asks and Amelia couldn’t stop her tears.
“Yes” She whispers.
“Sorry I can’t hear you what did you say?” Grey teases.
“I said I’ll Marry You Grey Dante” Amelia should and her family and friends came out clapping loudly, Grey slips the ring into her finger and attaches his lips to hers before hugging her.
“Awwwn” Everyone cooed.
All began hugging them, Becky and Liam came to Amelia and smiled at her.
“Congratulations baby”They Hugged her.
Flynn and Sunny came next.
“Congratulations Amelia” Sunny says and uses her hand to hit Flynn to say the same.

Flynn spots Grey from a distance, he was glaring at him, Flynn gulps and pulled Sunny away quickly.
Kel and Grey walks to Amelia.
“Sister-in-law” Kel says an hugs her.
“Congratulations, don’t let this thing over here stress you, if he does, you can run to me, I will welcome you with open arms” Kel whispers to her ear but was loud enough for Grey to hear.
Grey smacks his head and signals Kiara to come drag her boyfriend, Kiara came and took Kel by his ear and starts to drag him away from Amelia.

“Shut up” Kiara smack his head and he groans in pain.

They had a little party and soon everyone was on their way.

They lay on the bed with Amelia staring at the ring every now and then, Grey skies seeing this.

“You said you were a virgin but you were known as a big playboy because you uhmm do it with other girls, how is that possible?” Amelia asks and Grey smiles.

Chapter 44 & 45 (FINALE & EPILOGUE) : New Path

He got up and had a quick shower, he then walks out the room and Into the Kitchen where he met Miss Nia cleaning the kitchen.
Mrs Nia felt a presence and turned back and saw Grey, she smiles towards him and Grey does the same.
“Do you need anything young master?” Nia asks and Grey nodded.
“I want to cook for my wife” Immediately he said those Words, Miss Nia gasps.
“Young Master, you don’t have to, I can help you” She says but Grey was fixed to what he said.
“Kindly excuse the kitchen Miss Nia” He says politely and Miss Nia had no choice but to leave.
Grey knew how to cook, advantages of living alone in London.
Hw brought out a pot and places it on the electric cooker.
Amelia woke up to Grey’s absence, She yawns and gets down the bed, walking to the bathroom to have her bath.

Amelia walks out with a towel around her body, she walks to the Walk-in closet and picks her undies before picking one of Grey’s shirt and putting it on.
She walks downstairs and saw Miss Nia cleaning the parlor, she walks to her.
“Miss Nia, where’s Grey?” Amelia asks and Miss Nia gulps before pointing towards the kitchen, Amelia was shocked but began walking towards the kitchen and getting close, she smelt a very nice aroma, smelt like melted butter.
Amelia increases her steps and enters the kitchen quietly where she met Grey, he had the sleeve of his shirt rolled up and the look on his face was very serious.
Amelia watches him quietly for a while before moving close to him and hugging him from the back.
“Baby Go to the dining, food will be ready soon” Grey’s says but Amelia was stubborn.
“I wanna watch you cook” Amelia pouted and Grey sighs before carrying her and placing her on the kitchen island behind them before he got back to cooking.
Amelia watches his back and her eyes followed his every movement, Grey was rounding up with his cooking and put the electric cooker on low heat before walking to Amelia.
He leans in and gave her a peck on the cheek before pecking her lips.
“You look sexy while cooking” Amelia said biting her lips in a seductive manner.
“How about I show you another part of that’s sexy” Grey says tracing his hand to her laps and moving inside.
