Chapter 26 : Facing the Future Together
“Why don’t we get along just like the kids?” Luis asked.
“Thanks for helping with the bags” She took them from him.
She turned to leave but he pulled her by her arm, and claimed her lips.
She wanted to push him away but she just couldn’t find the courage in her to do that.

He sat upright on the bed in shock.

“I already checked up on them, they’re fast asleep” She said.
