“mom you’re gonna scattered my hair,if you keep doing that”she said arranging her hair properly.

★HOURS LATER.
The car stopped at the school compound ,Leo and bethel were the first to come down, before Justin did.
yes, leo was with them in the car.Justin has asked for bethel permission for Leo to come with them, and she agreed.
“see you later bro”Justin said.
“see yah”Leo said walking ahead of them.
Justin was about going in when bethel called him back.

“here’s your sweater”she smiled bringing the well washed sweater from her bag.

he took the sweater from her, and put it in his back pack.and continue walking.
“wait..”she called again, this time around
she was so closed to him.
“what do you want this time around?”he asked getting pissed already.
“nothing,I just want us to be friends”she said holding his hand.
he looked down at his hands which was on her tiny hands, bethel understood immediately and let go of his hand.

bethel sighed before facing him properly, she can’t believe she’s doing all this right now.

★LUNCH BREAK.
The lecturer stopped teaching the moment the lunch bell was rang ,he packed his stuff and left the class.
“where’re you going to?”she asked, when she saw Justin walking outside.
“as you can see am going to get my lunch”he said.
“come let’s go to the caff together, that would be nice right?”she said.
“but I thought you said, no one is allowed to go in there except from you”he said.
“come on, you’re my friend”she shrugged.
“okay fine I’ll come with you to the cafe, but only on one condition”.

“what’s that tell me, and I’ll gladly do it”she said feeling happy already.
“okay.. the thing is I want everyone to be eating at the caff “he said

Michael was staring at them all this while,his eyes not leaving them one bit,he wonder what they were discussing.

The moment they got to the caff,each persons took their food and started leaving one after the other.
Justin looked at bethel, she returned the stares.she moved forward, she swallowed hard, before saying…
“no one should leave the caff, you can all eat in here”she said, shocking everyone.
They didn’t believe her,so they keep walking.
“guys am serious”she shouted.

“does it look like am joking”she said getting annoyed already.

“yeah, but am happy you’re changing for the better”he said eating his food gently.
At that moment, Michael walk in.
“hi Bethel”he waved with a smiling face.
“can I seat with you,if you don’t mind”he said glaring dangerously at Justin.

he happily took a chair and seat at the left hand side of bethel while Justin is at right hand.
bethel is now sitting in the middle of the two guys.
they were all eating quietly, not until bethel choked on her food.
“are you okay?”both said at once, handing her a glass of water.

both guys dropped the glass,not without glaring at each other angrily.
“so bethel…, I was thinking if you’ve finally decide to accept my offer “he touched her long hair which was resting perfectly well on her shoulder.
Justin looked at them angrily.
“why is she allowing him to touch her hair that way”he thought.
“finneee.. let’s meet by 5 this evening, wonder what you want us to talk about anyway”she muttered.
“really,thank you so much, I’ll text you the address later”he hugged her tightly, making sure her b**b’s were pressing his chest real hard.
Justin faked a cough trying to earn their attention, bethel struggled to freed herself from him, but he won’t let go.

The door burst open revealing Mrs Adam’s.

she wanted to put on her heels, when her phone rang, she left the heel and rushed to pick it.

Episode : 23 & 24 : A Night to Remember
bethel packed her car at the not too quiet village.she got down from the car, and she stare at the neighborhood in disgust.
she looked around the place weirdly, she brought out her phone from bag, and looked at the address Leo texted her.
it’s the same address, that was sent to her.
“I can’t believe Justin lives here”she mumbled, keeping her phone back in her bag.
she hasn’t walked far when he saw Leo, coming out of a house.
“I came here as fast as I could”she said walking faster to him.
“thank God you came”his smiled.
“where’s he?”she asked in a hurry immediately they entered the house.
“calm down okay, he’s in his room “he assured her.
he led her into a small room, Justin was laying on the bed,his body was covered with thick cloth.he was shaking like a drenched chicken,who was beaten In the rain.
“how long has he been like this?”she asked, sitting close to him.
“Humm..two hours…no four..”he shuttered.
“nevermind , let take him to the hospital”she suggested.
“what ..hospital?…,no no, not the hospital, he hates the smell of drugs”Justin wanted to yell but he held himself,he don’t wanna ruined the plan.
“hospital.., there’s no need for that,he has taking some drugs already”he said trying not to act suspicious.
“really okay that’s good,where’s is your mom?”she asked.

“why do you have to fall sick today huh?,do you know I’ve to leave Michael hanging because of you?why do I always think about you every single minute,why does my heart beat faster anytime am with you huh”she asked the sleeping Justin.
she closed her eyes and brought her lips closer to Justin own wanting to kiss him, she wanna how his lips taste like.
Justin opened his eyes slowly,he was shocked,he stare at bethel whose eyes were still closed, their lips almost touching each other.

“you’re… awake”she shuttered.
but Justin was just staring at her like a dummy.

“you’re looking for Leo right?,he went out, but he’s not yet back”she said without been asked.
“I didn’t ask you”he said and sits on the bed properly.

“were you trying to kiss me?”he asked, bethel almost fell from the bed on hearing that.

“it means the drugs work well,coz the way you’re talking doesn’t look like someone who wasn’t fine, just a while ago”
“my body respond to treatment quickly”.
“yeah, that’s good to hear”she said, staring at the room.
“so this is your mom and dad, you don’t look like them one bit”she said touching the huge family picture which was resting on the wall.

“they’re dead”he simply said.

almost everyone has left the restaurant, Michael and some few couples who were having their time were the only ones remaining.
Michael stood up from his seat and look at the window sadly.he just wants to talk to her nothing much,why did she make his hope high?.
he took his phone and dial bethel number,it ring for a while before she picked.

“you know what Leo, am starting to regret why we have to brought up that lie, about me been sick in the first place”he said.

The door suddenly burst open at once, revealing shocked bethel, she came back to come get her phone which she left here.
earlier she heard her name,so she stayed quietly beside the door, eavesdropping on their conversation.
“wait….so all these about you been sick, was planned by both of you”she point at both of them.
“count me out,it was his idea”Leo said and ran outside.
“bethel I can explain…”he said walking towards her.
” you make me look like a fool Justin, you make me leave Michael hanging at a restaurant”she yelled.
“no,it wasn’t…..”he said but bethel interrupted him.
“it’s fine, maybe me changing and asking you to be my friend was a bad idea”she muttered.
