Episode 37 & 38 : Love and Power
★NEXT DAY★
Justin walked into the mansion to take bethel to school as usual.this time around he didn’t see bethel outside, but instead he saw Mr Adam’s leaning beside his car. his hands were in his pocket.it seems like he is waiting for him.
Through out the night he couldn’t stop thinking about the dream,it look so real.
Why will Mr Adam’s wanna kill him?
Does Mr Adam’s has anything to do with his past?
“good morning Justin,how was your night”he greeted, surprising Justin.
“it was fine”he muttered.
“are you okay?, you sound like you’re been troubled”he asked touching his shoulder.
Justin looked at his hand which was on his shoulder and stare back at his face.
“am fine”he said, taking his hand from his shoulder.
“are you really sure,coz you look tensed,is everything alright”he smirked.
“I wonder why you’re acting strange today, you’re definitely hiding something”he said boldly.
“you’re really curious about everything aren’t you,I wonder where it will take you to”he rolled his eyes.
“why won’t I be curious, you better don’t try anything stupid…am warning you”he said.
“little boy are you threatening me”he asked.
“anyhow you call it,all I want you to do is to stay away from me”he whispered into his ears.
Adam’s blinked his eyes in shock,is this boy threatening him?,he look serious he need to act fast,coz with the look of things if this boy find out all what he did he won’t hesitate to kill him.
bethel rush out of the house immediately she saw both of them glaring hard at each other, through the window.
“babe you came a bit late today “she pouted.
“yeah,I was attending to something important”he said, his eyes not leaving Adam.
“is it that important, that you have to come late to pick me up”she fold her hand under her breasts.
“of course not”he said and kissed her, right there in front of Mr Adam’s.
Mr Adam’s just look away.
”this boy is really testing my patience” he thought.
Justin look back at Mr Adam’s and gave him an ‘ my eyes on you sign’ before entering the car with bethel.
immediately they left, Adam’s took his phone from his pocket and dial a number.
“is it ready”he asked.
“yes sir, you can come take it now”the person said and hung up.
“finally, you’ll be out of my life for good,I only pity my daughter, but I know with time she’ll forget about you hahahaha”he chuckled before entering his car too.
“you look so worry babe, what’s going on?, you can share anything with me”bethel said immediately they got to the cafeteria.
“it’s nothing that serious”he said, eating his food slowly.
“I knew it, you’ve finally gotten yourself another girlfriend”she said, her voice was a little bit high.
“can you stop being dramatic, right now” his face weren’t showing any signs of smile.
“now you’re yelling, fine…eat the food by your self”she shouted and left the cafeteria.
Justin ran his fingers into his hair in confusion.he was confused as he!! ,he don’t know if he should tell her about the dream or not.
“babe am sorry”he said, holding her waist from behind and kissing her hair.
bethel left him in class since he was doing a practical in the science lab.yeah he is reading medicine.
she couldn’t get into the car coz the car key is with him,so she has to wait for him.
“can you stop doing that,we still in the school”she said trying to free herself from him.
“I don’t care at all”he whispered into her ears.
“you know am still angry with you right” by now they are both facing each other.
“what will I do for you to forgive me”he pouted.
“i’ll forgive you only on one condition, which is, you’ll tell me what bothering you, then I’ll forgive you, but if…
“fine I’ll tell you, but I’ll tell you while we’re driving home”he said, opening the car like a gentle man for her.
“okay”she entered the car, and they drove off.
“i had this crazy dream last night”he said while driving the car.
“go on”she said.
ever since they start dating bethel have been sitting on the front seat him,coz to her he is no longer his driver.
“it’s sound crazy, but I have to say it”he took a deep breath before saying….
“you father shot me in my dream”he said.
bethel gasped on hearing that.she knows her dad too well, but she prayed he never succeed in what ever he’s planning,coz she’ll never forgive him.
Justin noticed her silence and he started calling her name.
“barbie!!!”he yelled.
“have been calling you ever since,are you okay?, you look lost”he asked.
“am fine”she said.
“barbie the dream look so real”he said.
“come on, it’s just a dream am sure my father won’t do such a thing”she shuttered.
“I know, but I can’t still Trust him,he’s up to something”he said.
“hey.. stop the car,let’s buy some ice cream”she said, trying to change the topic.
it worked coz Justin pulled to an halt at the ice cream store.
JUSTIN’S HOUSE★
he just took his shower and now he is having his afternoon nap.the vibration of his phone woke him up.
he didn’t bother to look who’s calling him before he pressed the green icon on the screen.
“hello”he said.
“am I speaking with Justin harp?”the unknown caller asked.at that moment the sleep flew from his eyes immediately.
he took the phone from his ears, and he looked at the phone, the number was not seen coz it was showing private number.
“yes ,please who are you? and how do you know my name”he asked.
“you don’t need to know me, but once you come here come to this address, and I’ll give you every details of your parents whereabouts, and you’ll get to know me too”he said.
“how am I sure you aren’t lying,coz I know my parents are not alive,if they are alive They would have come looking for me” he said.
“who told you that bullshit?, your parents are alive and am not lying,well it your choice,if you really wanna see your parents you have to come here quickly”he said.
“I’ll send the location Incase you change your mind”he said.
“but….
“am waiting “the caller said and hung up.
Episode 39 & 40 : Bethel and Justin’s Future
The guy gave the phone back to Mr Adam’s.
“sir here is your phone “he gave him the phone.
“what did he say?,is he coming?”he asked.
“he didn’t say anything, but I know he’ll come “he said.
“okay “Adam’s said and started walking away.
“sir!!”he called him back, running after him.
“what?”he asked.
“you haven’t given me my money “he said.
“ohhh, your money,I almost forgot “he said,he took some money from his wallet and handed it to him.
“but sir, this isn’t what we bargain for”he said.
“okay,let me give you the remaining money”he put his hand on his back pocket and brought out a gun instead.
“sir…”he shuttered.
“say no more”he shot him on his head, blowing his brain off.
“what a pathetic death”he said and walk away.
Justin finished putting on a suitable clothes,he didn’t think twice before he took a cab which took him to exact address the unknown caller sent him.
he didn’t even bother to tell Leo or his mother.he just went on his own.he wanted to call bethel, but he put the phone back into his pocket,why will he even call bethel, not like she will come or something.
“sir are you sure we’re in the right place”the man asked, after driving for almost an hour.
“what’s your business huh!!?”he shouted and got down from the car.
“am sorry sir, but this place look abandon”he said starting his car.
“Just get out of here old man”he shouted.
the man didn’t argue with him again.he drove off leaving Justin all alone in the desert area.
he stare at all the buildings in the area, there were all uncompleted building and abandoned building.
he wonder what the unknown caller will be doing in this kind of place.he was really scared. He wanted to go back home, but he’s gonna take the risk.
he tried the number that called him earlier, but it was saying switch off.
“maybe I should just go back home”he said, but immediately he turned, someone hit him with a plank on his head and he fell flat on the ground.
the person took his phone from his hand and switch it off.
“I wonder who’s gonna save you today”the person laugh and dragged Justin into one of the abandoned house there.
bethel has been moving to and fro in her room.she figured the room wasn’t helping her out,so she ran downstairs.she met her mom watching a movie while eating a popcorn.
“mom!!”she called, walking towards her.
Sofia turned to looked at her for a while before looking back at the tv.
“mom, please where’s dad?”she asked.
“how am I supposed to know?”she replied, without looking at her.
“please call him and tell him to stop whatever he’s doing pleaseee”she begged,her eyes were filled with tears already.
her tears didn’t move Sofia one bit,coz she knows if she consider her tears, she might spill the Truth out.
bethel had overheard her father telling her mother, about him wasting someone life today.she couldn’t help but feel worry.
she cleans the tears off her eyes,and tried Justin number again.
“Justin pick the call”she yelled angrily, she has been trying his number but it keep saying switch off.
“Justin where are you?, please be safe”she cried, and ran outside.
“you will get used to it dear,it just a matter of time”Sofia muttered in tears as she watch her leave.
some hours later
Justin woke to see himself sitting on a chair, his hands were tied to the back.
“where am I…. anyone here”he yelled, struggling to loose the rope.
“well well well, guess who’s awake”he chuckled, coming out from one of the rooms.
He finally walked to where Justin is and squat In his front.
“Adam…”he shuttered.
“it’s Mr Adam..fool..”he shouted hitting the gun in his face.
“Mr Adam what’s going on?, why am I tied up in a chair?and what’re doing with a gun”he asked nonstop.
“gosh which one am I gonna answer first don’t worry I’ll answer all the questions one by one”he said, twisting the gun in his palm.
“am about to kill you just like the way I killed your parents.. surprised right”he said, seeing the surprise look on Justin’s face.
“my… parents”he muttered.
“yeah you heard me right, your f*cking parents”he said.
“but how?..”he asked.
“don’t worry sweetie, I’ll explain everything to you”he chuckled.
he explained everything to him, not leaving anything behind.
“how could you”Justin yelled,by now his eyes were filled with tears.
he can’t believe the man standing right here before him as his in-law to be,is the one who killed his parents just because of money.
does bethel even knows about it?”he thought aloud.
“of course, your girlfriend knows”he said.
Justin was heartbroken on hearing that.no wonder when he told her about the dream the other day, she doesn’t seems bothered.
“and guess what am ending you here… right now”he said.
“not if you can”Justin said getting up from the chair.
when Adam’s was explaining how he killed his parents earlier.he use that opportunity to unloose the rope he use in tying him.the old man didn’t even tie him properly.
“huh” adam’s eyes widened.
before Adam could process what was going on,a punch landed on his face and he fell down flat on the ground.the gun fell from his hands.
Justin immediately picked the gun and point it on his face.
“don’t shoot me please”he pleaded.
“I’ll forgive you only on one condition”he said.
“what’s that?”he asked as he stood up from the ground.
“you’ll have to report yourself to the cops”he said without blinking.
“what I can’t do that”he said.
“then I’ve no choice but to kill you”he said.
“we’ll see about that”.he muttered
Adam rush towards him and held the gun with him.
Both of them started dragging the gun.
“you think you’re smart right huh?,, forget that am old but am still smarter than you”he said holding the gun with him.
“let it go”Justin said, trying to push him away from him.
“no you let it go”Adam’s said .he was still struggling to take the gun from him.
boom!!
a gunshot was Heard.
Episode 41 & 42 : Love Conquers All
Blood gush out of Mr Adam mouth like a running water.while they were struggling with the gun earlier, Justin shot him on the stomach .
his eyes closed slowly as he fell on the ground.with that he dropped dead.
“I didn’t mean to…I didn’t”Justin shuttered as he watch Adam body on the cold floor.
“please don’t die.. please”he cried, touching his lifeless body.
“even thou you killed my parents,I hold no grudges against you….but I just wanted you to turn yourself to the cops…”he lamented.
his hands and clothes were now covered with blood, but he careless about the stains right now.
the police siren could be heard outside. the cops rushed inside with their guns in their hands.
“please let’s take him to the hospital”Justin said, immediately he saw them.
how they got here doesn’t matter to him at all.
a police squat in front of Mr Adam and feel his pulse.he shook his head before standing up.
“call the ambulance to take him to the morgue”the head police said.
“okay sir”the said and took Mr Adam away.
“officer please what’s going on, where are they taking him to?”he asked, immediately he saw them taking him away.
“to the mortuary”he replied.
“what?”.
“yes he’s dead”he said.
“no no no, this can’t be happening”he shook his head.
“you’ll have to come to the police station later for questioning”the police said and went outside, and they drove off with Mr Adam’s body.
Justin stood outside,as tears fall from his eyes.at that moment bethel’s car drove in.
Sofia,Leo,Sandra are with her in the car.they all came down at once, and Rushed to him.
bethel was the one who called the police.
★SOME HOURS AGO★
as soon as bethel rushed outside, Sofia stood up from the couch, and rushed to meet her.she was about to enter her car.
“bethel wait….”she said.
“what huh,do you wanna tell me the truth”she said hurriedly.
“yes…I can’t stand to see you hurt,am sorry my child”she begged,her eyes were filled with tears.
“mom stop crying and tell me where they are”she yelled.
she tell her the location.
“okay he told me he will waste Justin live there”Sofia hiccuped, while facing the ground.
“what!!!…I can’t believe you two will be so heartless… but I hope I can stop him before he will kill Justin”she said.
“I want you to do something for me….inform the police”Sofia said.
“the police…”she asked.
“yes…,coz if you go there on your own… you won’t be able to stop him… but if he sees the cops he might surrender….I also want him to surrender too,..”she sighed.
“you’re right”bethel nodded and entered the car.
“wait am coming with you too”Sofia said.
“then what are you waiting for… come let’s go”she said and Sofia entered the car.with that they drove off.
★★PRESENT★★
“my son!!”Sandra cried, hugging Justin to herself.
“mom am fine”he said, breaking the hug.
“Justin ,Justin are you okay?”bethel asked, rushing to hugged him too.
he looked at her angrily and pushed her, and she feel heavily on the ground.
Leo and Sofia rushed to her and help her up.
“Jus…tin…”she whispered.
“don’t call my name”he yelled.
“I know it’s my father’s fault, but please ….”he cut her off by saying.
“how long have you know about this?”Justin asked instead.
she didn’t say anything.
“you didn’t bother to tell me, wait what if I had died…?”he said.
“I wanted to tell you but….I was scared..”she said.
“say no more… let’s take a break,I wanna take time to clear my head from all what has happened today “he said and walk away.
“Justin!!!”bethel yelled in tears.
Sandra followed Justin immediately.
“don’t worry he’ll come around”Leo said and follow his mom.
“it’s okay”Sofia walk to her and pats her hair.
“am fine”she muttered as she watch Justin leave.
“are you sure?”she asked.
“am sure”she replied.
“I think he’s right,we really need some break”she muttered.
“you think you can handle it?”she asked.
“of course”she nodded.
“you don’t look sad about your dad’s death”Sofia said, trying to hold the tears that was threatening to fall from her eyes.
“he deserve it anyway… but I still miss him thou”she whispered.
“I miss him too”bethel sniffed.
“so what’s our fate now…coz I know Justin will take his father’s properties back… and he’s gonna leave us with nothing”she said.
“don’t worry mom..even if he takes the properties, we’ll still find a way to survive”she hugged her as tears fell slowly from her eyes.
“I wanna see your my husband body for the last time”Sofia said.
“was about saying that, let’s go”she said and they both entered the car and drove off.
★SOME MONTHS LATER*
It been months since the incident had happened.justin have been doing well since then.nothing seems to bother him at all.he only wished he could know where his parents were buried.but that’s impossible.
the police didn’t do anything to him neither did they arrest him.he was only trying to defend himself.nothing more.
bethel and her mom often visit the cemetery, just to go check on adam.after crying their eyes out, they will go back home.they just have to accept their fate.
Justin didn’t take the mansion or the car from them.he bought his own mansion.both Leo and his mom lived with him.he’ll be handing his late father’s company once he finishes college.
Today Is actually their last day of exam and Michael wasn’t writing the exam with them,coz his father sent him to New York city ,where he’ll be receiving proper treatment.he was actually suffering from heart disease.
during this period Leo and Sarah have got to know each other.
Justin and bethel haven’t been talking to each other throughout the months,they just walk past each other.they really take the break of a thing serious.
Justin really missed her alot, but he don’t know if bethel do.he have tried talking to her, but he just can’t..he has planned to talk to her today, since today is their last day of exam.
bethel on the other hand really miss him too, but she’s gonna wait till he is ready to talk to her.
Justin was leaning on his car.he has finished writing his last paper.he keep looking at the direction of their classroom obviously waiting for bethel, after some minutes she came out.
bethel who saw this quickly took her eyes off him.just as she was about to walk past him.he grab her hand, making her face him.
“hey don’t tell me you gonna leave for holiday without talking to me”Justin said.
bethel stare at him weirdly, isn’t this the same guy who asked for a break?.
now what the hell is he spitting out?.
“you said you needed a break, remember,so I was waiting for you”she managed to say while facing the ground.
“look at me”he said.
“no..I don’t wanna look at you”she said.
“I said look at me”bethel raised her head slowly and look at him on the face.
she stared at his face closer.he grew more handsome everyday,why didn’t she noticed it even since?
“I look more handsome right”he smirk, and bethel faced reddened due to embarrassment.
“hey I wasn’t looking at your face”she chuckled.
“but am still handsome right?”he asked, bringing his face closer to her
“Justin…
“it’s Justin now,I thought it was babe”he placed his hand on his waist, making him look like a girl.
bethel didn’t know when she burst into laughter.
“what’s funny”he asked.
“nothing babe absolutely nothing”she giggled.
“but you’re still laughing”he said.
“am sorry for what my father did”she said after some few seconds of silence.
“hey you don’t have to apologize, it’s all in the past now”he said and cupped her cheeks.
and they was total silence again.
“I miss you so much”he said staring at her lips.
“I miss you…”Justin claimed her lips on his before she could complete her words.
bethel eyes widened for a second,and she grabbed his hair with both hands and kiss him back.
Episode 43 & 44 (FINALE) : Forever Together
Both of them were still sucking each other lips hungrily , like they life depend on it.
They broke the kiss and stare each eyes deeply.
“I love you so much barbie”Justin whispered, while hugging her.
“I love you too babe”she whispered.
“so i was thinking we should go on a date this evening”he said pulling from the hug.
“really?”she asked, facing him.
“yes..I hope you are not busy..I can just cancel it…”bethel place her tiny finger on his lips..
“am not busy okay, so at what time should I…
” don’t worry I’ll come pick you up this evening”he cut her off.
“I’ll be waiting for you”she said, walking to where her car was parked.
Justin smirked before spanking her ass.
bethel gasps.
“stop people are watching”she said and rush to her car, and she quickly drove off.
“finally” Justin smiled and walked into his car too.
Leo and Sarah were walking together their seem to have finish writing their last paper.
well through out those month, they have become so close, that people mistook them to be boyfriend and girlfriend. but it wasn’t really easy, since Sarah was trying to act tough.
“I can’t believe biology could be this hard gosh”Leo said.
“but it wasn’t hard for me, maybe because I read thou.. unlike you”she said.
“you’re right..I hate reading, but I hope I’ll pass,if not big bro Justin is gonna kill me”he panic.
“so we will see each other again next semester right?”she said.
“yes…. I’ll really miss you”he blurted out .
Sarah just looked at him and shook her head.
leo cleared his throat properly before saying.
“hmmm…will you be busy through out today”he scratched his head.
“no why are you asking, anything the problem”she asked.
“no….I want us to go to the amusement park later in the day”he asked.
“sure… it’s been long since I went to the park?”she asked.
“are you coming?”he asked.
“yes I’ll come”she smiled.
“then meet at the park then”Leo said, while walking away.
“wait…”she called and Leo turned back.immediately he turn to her, she stood on her toes and kiss him on his cheek.
after doing that she quickly ran away.
“what just happened?”he asked touching his cheek.
clothes keep flying around as bethel hasn’t seen the perfect one to wear.
she took a gown which stop above knees.she wore the gown and faced the mirror.
“not sexy enough”she throw the gown away and pick another dress.
she keep on trying different dresses.it’s either they’re too short or they’re not sexy enough.
the door opened and Sofia walked in,her eyes widened when she saw so many clothes laying on the ground. bethel was still searching for more.
“bethel what’s going on?,are you giving your clothes out or something?”she asked.
bethel sighed and fell tiredly on the bed.
“mom… your daughter is looking for a perfect dress to wear to a date with her boyfriend”she sighed.
“boyfriend… wait… both of you are now together again”she gasped and bethel nodded.
“woah am happy for you guys,I knew he’ll come around”she smiled.
“I was almost losing hope of being with him again”she said.
“he also miss you too,I guess”Sofia nodded.
“yeah…mom and guess what, he’s taking me out to dinner this evening”she giggled.
“really… but why aren’t you dressed?”she asked,coz bethel was still putting on a bra and pant.
“I’m looking for a perfect dress to wear,so once he sees me,he won’t be able to take his eyes off me”she said.
“wait a sec, I’ll be right back”Sofia said, and rushed to her room.few minutes later, she came back with a long red sequin gown.it really look so beautiful.
“woah mom…it so beautiful.. never knew you have this kind of dress.”she gushed checking the gown out.
“this was the dress I wore to meet your dad on our first date ” she said slowly.
“mom.. you promise me you won’t cry anymore..”she said.
“am not crying”she said wiping the little tears off her eyes.
“then what is tears doing in your eyes?”she asked.
“something entered my eyes, that’s why”she smiled.
“see am fine now”Sofia said.
“if you say so”.she shrugged.
“okay,, come and try it on.let me see how it would look on you”Sofia gesture, changing the topic.
“sure”bethel said.
she finally try the gown, and the gown look perfectly on her slim body.it brought out her shape.she also put on one of her black heel.
“wow.. you look beautiful”Sofia gushed.
a car horn was Heard outside, indicating Justin is here.bethel look at her mom with wide eyes.
“mom he is here.. and I haven’t even apply my make up yet”she said nervously.
“don’t panic okay..by the way you still look beautiful even without makeup.but I’ll still add a little touch of makeup on your face”she said, leading her to the dressing table.
★FEW MINUTES*.
bethel walked majestically to where Justin is.justin who was pressing his phone, quickly look up.and his mouth open on staring at the angel in front of him.
is this really bethel?.
“why are you staring at me like that”bethel asked,coz of the way he was looking at her.
“you look beautiful”Justin said.
bethel face reddened due to blush.she bent her face on the ground shyly.
“I know and you look handsome too”she said.
“I feel like ripping those clothes off your body, and f*cking you right here…gosh you’re so cute”he whispered senselessly.
bethel shook her head on hearing that.
does this boy even have shame at all?
“thank God no one heard that”she muttered staring around.
“so what are we waiting for?”Justin asked with his hands on his pocket.
“was about to asked you.. yonno we need to be there early..so that we can take a perfect spot”she said.
“are you kidding me..no need to panic..I reserve that place for us alone…I want us to be the only there.. sounds interesting right?…”he smirked as naughty thoughts run through his head.
“don’t tell me you wanna f*ck me there”bethel whispered.
“I didn’t say anything like f*ck okay, and stop being naughty”he said.
“can we go now?”bethel said,coz her legs were hurting her because of the heels.
“sure”justin opened his palm, and bethel place her palm on his.he then led her into the car, and they drove off.
