Episode 43 & 44: MY MOM!
“Ten thousand what?!” Ava asked, as if she just whisper…., tears flowing and soaking her clothes as the amount of money the doctor just mentioned, kept sounding in her head.
“Where am I supposed to get that kind of money from?” She asked, and broke down.
“Mummy…oh God!
Where the hell am I supposed to….to…get that?” She repeated the question, palming her face.
“The earlier you bring the money, the better, so we can do the transplant before it becomes too late” The doctor spoke.
Ava remained in that position, speechless.
The only thing she was doing, was crying.
“Where….who…how, nooo…Mum!!” She screamed as she got up, trying to run into the ward.
But the doctor stopped her.
“You can’t go in there right now” The doctor told her.
Another loud cry could be heard, as she slumped down, hurting seriously.
The nurses and people around were even feeling for her.
She buried her head in her thighs as hot tears streamed down her cheeks, soaking her clothes as well.
“Should I go tell Winnie, or Olivia? No, I can’t!
Jaxon, Felony or Bullet? Hell no! Oh mummy, I’m sorry….I don’t know what to do” She whimpered.
Suddenly, Ava sprang up, and ran out of the hospital, still crying like that.
[ SOURCE CAFE ]
Ava rushed into the cafe, where she does her part time job, acting like a crazy person.
Fortunately, she met her boss just at the entrance of the cafe door. She immediately fell on her knees, with more tears running down as she explained to her boss concerning the situation on ground.
“I don’t have that kind of money, Ava. But I will give you what I can” Mr Reginald told her, honestly, shaking his head as he went in to get the money.
“Ava, what’s the problem? What happened?” Gracie asked.
“My….my mum…..my mum is dying, Gracie” Ava stuterred, her lips shaking like one who was freezing.
“Hey! Don’t say that, your mom won’t die” Gracie rebuked it immediately.
“She’s in the hospital, and ten thousand dollars is needed before any treatment commences” Ava spoke.
“Ten thousand what?!” Gracie’s eyes widened in great shocks.
“I am dead, Gracie. I don’t know where to get that kind of money from.
How much do I even have in my account? Oh Lord, my mom” Ava wailed.
Gracie held her tight, hugging her, trying to comfort her.
“I will give you what I have, Ava. Just stop crying, please” Gracie begged, hugging her tighter.
“Nooo….I can’t…I’m done for, Gracie!” She cried.
“Ava, I told you your mum is going to be alright, you have to stay strong for her, okay? But where is your dad?” Gracie, who had no idea about that, innocently asked.
Ava looked at her, and increased the cry.
“Oh jeez! I shouldn’t have asked that, I guess” Gracie mumbled within herself.
Mr Reginald finally came out with an envelope, handing it over to Ava.
“That’s five hundred and fifty dollars, it’s all I have.
But please, return it when due” Reginald said.
“Thank…you…thank you so much, sir” Ava said, appreciatively. She couldn’t believe her boss was that generous, and even though the money was not even up to quarter of what they needed, she still appreciated her boss’s kindness.
Ava ran out immediately out of the cafe, heading to where she ddidn’t even know, no direction or destination.
She was just running, because she didn’t know who else to ask for help.
Before she left, Gracie also gave her the little that she had.
[ BULLET’S PENTHOUSE ★ HACKING ROOM ]
Codie was in the computer lab alone because there was no hacking or tracking to do, so Maddog wasn’t in the lab with him.
So, since there was no one inside with him, he took off his shades and hoodie, revealing his true face.
He breathed out and smiled, weirdly.
Nobody has ever seen his face, and neither has he ever gone out of the computer lab either.
Well, everyone thinks so.
He does leave the lab, but no one sees when he leaves or comes back. And funny part is that, he’s always available when he’s needed.
Weird, right?
He was about putting his hoodie and shades back on, when the door flung open, shocking him and the person who just barged in.
It was Scarface!
Scarface’s jaw dropped the moment he saw his face.
“G…..g…..” He stuttered, staggering back.
Before he could say anything else, Codie grabbed him and put a knife on his throat.
“If you tell anyone about me, it will be worst than this” Codie said, giving him a big cut on the neck with the knife.
“Ahhhh!” Scarface screamed as blood started rushing out of his neck.
Codie glared at him viciously, throwing him on the ground, carelessly.
Scarface staggered again, holding his bleeding neck as he got up and walked out of the lab like a drunk because he kept staggering.
[ BULLET’S ROOM ]
“What the f**k did you do yesterday at the night out?” Felony, who couldn’t believe what happened yesterday and literally didn’t say anything that yesterday, finally questioned Bullet.
“What are you talking about?” Bullet asked, not really getting her.
“You pulling Ava out of the game yesterday. when that guy was about to kiss her.
You f*cking broke a glass with your damn palms.
Why were you so upset about it?” She asked, more like a yell.
“I don’t know” Bullet answered, simply and shortly.
“Are you in love with her?” Felony questioned again. She just kept asking him questions upon questions.
“I don’t know” Bullet gave her another short reply.
Felony looked at him and smirked.
~ He said he doesn’t know, but his eyes are saying something else ~ Felony thought to herself.
However, Bullet’s phone started ringing that very instant, and when he took it out to see who the person was, he shut his eyes and sighed out.
It was his father, Colton.
“Father…” He called, immediately after picking up.
“Come to the Clan now, I want to see you” His dad told him, and hung up immediately after saying that.
“Fk, fk…just f**k the damn hell! Why does he only call when he wants to see me?” Bullet ruffled his hair, insanely, and Felony laughed, mockingly.
“He’s your father” She said, still laughing.
“It’s not funny” Bullet glared, but Felony laughed more.
Bullet sighed and threw his phone on the bed, palming his head and putting it down in frustration.
He’s worried about Ava, and now his dad wants to add more to his problems? F*ck!
“Go see your father, I’m going home” Felony said and stood up.
“Enjoy” She annoyingly winked at him and left, with them not saying anything else to each other.
“She isn’t picking my calls, I hope she’s already and still not mad at me” Bullet mumbled, worriedly.
Ava ran until she got to school. She ddidn’t even know when she got there, and why she was even there in the first place.
She felt like going to the girls hostel to ask for help, but she immediately stopped on her track.
Jaxon’s place….she immediately stopped too.
Bullet’s place…?…. She still said no to that.
She was just saying no to all the options, and kept pacing around the place until she suddenly bumped into Felony.
“Crybaby….?” Felony called slowly, a little frown on her face.
“F**k! You’re cryiny? What happened?” She asked, with great concern, the moment she saw that Ava was crying.
“My mum…she’s dying” Ava said.
“What! Don’t say that. What happened, where is she?” Felony immediately replied, asking.
“Heart problem. She’s at the hospital right now, and needs ten thousand dollars for a transplant” Ava explained, sobbing.
“Is that why you’ve been crying? Shit!” Felony said, taking Ava by the hand.
Meanwhile, Ava was seriously looking at her in shocks.
Wait, was she expecting her to be laughing or what? Her mum needs ten thousand dollars which she doesn’t have, and Felony ddidn’t want her to cry? Geez!
Anyway, “Take me to the hospital” Felony said as she opened the car door for Ava.
Ava hurriedly entered, and as usual, Felony drove speedily to the hospital.
[ KRAY’S CLAN ]
Bullet got out of his car when he entered the Clan. He handsomely walked in, heading straight to his dad’s.
Members were greeting, others staring at him like they were seeing him for the first time. Well, new members who just joined them again, were actually seeing him for the first time.

The last girl said and blew a bubble with her gum.
Bullet walked past them, ignoring their stares and greetings.
He walked into his dad’s room, where he met him sitting and smoking as expected.
“You came” Colton said as Bullet walked up to him, his face hard as a rock.
“You asked me to come” Bullet replied him, acrimoniously.
Colton chuckled, puffing out the smoke which spread all over his face.
“You’re growing” Colton said.
“Growth is constant and inexorable” Bullet replied, already getting pissed off.
“Interesting, isn’t it?” His dad chuckled again out shortly.
After staying quiet for minutes, he continued.
“Who is she” He suddenly asked the question out of nowhere!
Bullet was left in total confusion as he had no idea of what or who he was talking about.
“She? Who are you talking about?” Bullet asked, still in confusion.
“The girl you’re falling in love with. The one that has been distracting you” Colton said, not sparing Bullet any glance.
Even though Bullet wasn’t sure of his feelings yet, he figured out who his dad was talking about, and his eyes widened.
He kept mute, wondering where and how the hel his dad got to know about it.
“I don’t know who or what you’re talking about” Bullet said, pretending to not know.
“Don’t play dumb with me, son” Colton smiled, dangerously.
Bullet rolled eyes, and looked at him sternly in the eye.
“How did you know about this?” Bullet asked, his eyes fixed on his dad, and anxiously waiting for an answer.
“I got my eyes everywhere. Stop playing dumb with me” He said, still not looking at Bullet even for a second.
Bullet scoffed, and removed his gaze from his dad.
“I am not being distracted by anyone, don’t I carry out the missions I’m supposed to….”
“She’s still a distraction” Colton cut him off.
“What do you even want from me?
What kind of a father are you? You hate to see me happy, don’t you?
Why do you enjoy doing this? For f**k sake, I am your son!” Bullet yelled at him.
“And you know the rules” Calton said, ignoring every other thing Bullet said.
“And I will break those damn rules because of her. You never want to see me happy, father.
I do every f*king thing you want, or ask me to do, but you don’t appreciate any. I have been trying to ignore the fact that I don’t even know who my mom is, because you have refused to tell me. But you just reminded me of it again. “Now, tell me, godfather Colton Kray, who the fck is my mum?” Bullet asked, and banged his hand on the table.
Colton chuckled again.
That’s all he’s been doing since Bullet came.
Anyway, he still didn’t answer him Bullet’s question. He just kept staring at him, funnily.
“Good night” Bullet said, after he waited for his dad to speak, but he was still silent. He banged the table again and like that, he started walking out of there.
His dad refused to answer him, so there was no need staying, and getting upset more than he already had.
“Call me when you need anything” Colton finally spoke, annoyingly.
“I hate you!” Bullet turned back and shouted at him, then stormed out.
Colton looked at him until he went out of sight, chuckling like an isane man.
“I can’t believe he wanted to see me because of that” Bullet said as he got into his car, where sat in for close to ten minutes, thinking, especially about Ava and what happened between them yesterday.
He rested his back on the seat, and kept thinking about her, so much that he almost slept off in the car.
[ FULL MOON BACKPACKERS HOSTEL ]
Ava’s friends have been calling her, but she’s not picking any of their calls.
“Maybe she’s sleeping already” Olivia said, putting her phone down by her side
.
“Tch! This is just 6 O’clock, Olivia. How can she be sleeping by this time?” Winnie said, worriedly.
“Hmmm. Then why isn’t she picking her calls? Olivia asked nobody in particular.
“No idea, Olive. Gosh, I’m just so worried about her.
You know she left school all moody. I just hope she’s alright” Winnie sighed out.
“I believe she is. We’ll see her in school tomorrow, and if she doesn’t come….then we’ll have to go to her house.
You still remember her home address, right?” Olivia asked Winnie.
“Yeah, sure” Winnie answered.
She went to her closet and picked her Pjs, slipping them on fast.
“Don’t tell me you’re going to bed already?” Olivia said, staring at her.
“That’s obviously what I am about to do” Winnie rolled eyes.
“Hell no! Not when an interesting movie is going on” Olivia eyes her, and dragged her to the seat, making sit heavily.
“You’re so unbearable, geez!” Winnie rolled eyes again, grunting.
“I know, duh!” Olivia replied and they both giggled.
Winnie kept mute and stared at Olivia, smirking.
“Weirdo! What is it now?” Olivia raised her shoulders, wuestioningly.
“What’s up with you and Archie, thought you were crushing on Leo and not him” Winnie then asked, looking at her in a funny way.
“Just shut up and enjoy the movie” Olivia half yelled, shakinv her head.
“Yes, ma’am” Winnie answered, instantly zipping her mouth.
They both laughed and continued watching.
“The movie is actually interesting, but I wish Ava was here” Winnie sighed out again for the hundreth time.
“Same here” Olivia replied, filling her mouth with popcorn.
[ ST. MICHAEL’S HOSPITAL ]
Felony’s car came to a halt as soon as they arrived the hospital.
Ava was so impatient that she couldn’t wait for Felony to park the car well where every other car was parked.
She rushed into the hospital in a flash, even though Felony was the one making the payment for her mom’s heart transplant.
“Her mother’s daughter” Felony smiled, seeing how Ava was so worried and concerned about her mom.
“Wish mine was still alive” She then sighed and followed Ava up in a rush.
Ava was seen pacing around while waiting for Felony to come.
She had somehow stopped crying, but tears were still coming out of her eyes while doing so.
“Where is the doctor, and your mom’s ward?” Felony asked as she finally joined Ava, hurriedly.
Ava was about to answer the question, when the doctor came out of the ward, and Ava’s heart skipped a million times in just a second immediately on seeing him.
The doctor did not just come out of her mom’s ward, but he came out with gloves, which he was literally taking off.
“How is my mom, where is she?” Half dead Ava asked, with tears already attempting to fall.
“She will be alright, hopefully. The transplant is taking place right now” The doctor told her, while Ava was shocked at what she just heard him say.
“Huh?” Both Ava and Felony said at the same time, turning to look at each other, then at the doctor.
“What are you talking about, doctor? I thought you said it’d only commence when payment has been made?” Ava sniffed, as she wipes her tears off her eyes.
“Yeah. And that’s because payment has been made already, just in time. Because we almost lost her” The doctor let out a smile this time.
“What….?” Ava and Felony said again, looking at each other.
“So….someone pa…paid ten thousand dollars for mom’s heart transplant?” Ava stuttered, tears coming out again, sniffling seriously.
“Even more than what was needed” The doctor told her.
Ava hiccupped and swallowed nothing, she was completely shocked that she instantly lost her voice.
God must have sent an angel from heaven to come save her mom just in time….so she thought.
Wow! What did she just hear?!
“Who is this person, please?” She composed herself, and managed to ask.
“An anonymous” The doctor answered, sharply.
“Wait, say what?!…..
Episode 45 & 46: HEART FEELINGS
“Wait, say what?!…..? An anonymous?” Ava asked, totally confused.
She doesn’t even know if she should be worried, happy or cry.
Who paid such a huge sum of money and chose to remain anonymous?
Aside her rich friends in school who aren’t even aware of her mom being hospitalized, there’s no one else she knows that can do such a thing.
No one even knows about this whole situation, except for Felony who of course wouldn’t have known too, if she hadn’t bumped into her.
God indeed sent someone to save her mom’s life. This is so amazing!
“How’s my mom doing?” Ava asked the second time, her mind a bit off the anonymous person.
“She’s alright. Hopefully by tomorrow, you should be able to see her” The doctor told her, and returned to the ward.
They’re two of them in the ward, (His assistant doctor) that’s why he was able to come out speak with Ava.
Ava heaved a euphoric sigh of relief and sat on the chair.
She placed hand on her cheeks, looking at different directions.
Little drops of tears dropped down her cheeks as she kept thinking about her mom.
She knows the doctor has assured her that her mom will be alright, but right now, she misses her more than anything in the world.
“Chill, crybaby. I thought you said you don’t cry anymore” Felony said, sitting down beside her and rubbing her back, benignly.
“I miss her already, Felony. I really do.
I would be laughing my a*ss out right now if she wasn’t in there” Ava sobbed, lowly.
Felony looked at her and smiled.
“I see, you’re mummy’s girl, huh? The doctor said she’s gonna be already, hopefully by tomorrow.
Let’s just trust him, huh?” Felony said.
Ava could only nod.
“Thanks, Felony. Thank you so much for offering to help.
I really don’t know how to thank you, but just know that I am very very grateful for that” Ava hiccupped and said.
“Anything for my crybaby” Felony smiled.
Ava smiled too, then they both suddenly went quiet for sometime before Felony finally broke the silence.
“I know it isn’t the right time to talk about this. But your boyfriend has been trying to reach you for as long as I can remember. He’s been worried about you all day” Felony spoke, staring at Ava’s face to see her reaction.
“Boyfriend? Which boyfriend?” Ava asked, utterly confused and lost.
A tiny furrow appeared on her forehead as she thought hard, until she frantically ironed it away, then she looked at Felony, still with that confused look.
“Bullet, he’s been worried about you” Felony purposely said it again, calling his name this time.
Ava’s heart skipped immediately she heard “Bullet”.
“Oh” She mouthed, now calm. “Well, he’s my friend, not my boyfriend” Ava corrected, looking away.
Felony chuckled.
“So, why did your heart skip when I mentioned his name?” Felony asked, internationally doing it.
~ Wait, is she a witch or what, how did she know that? ~ Ava wondered in her heart, as she slowly turned to look at her…..as if she was scared of Felony.
“I….I am hungry, I need to get something to eat” Ava said as she didn’t want Felony to talk more about it.
“I will get you something to eat then” Felony replied, chuckling inwardly.
She got off the chair and started heading out.
Immediately she went of out sight, Ava took her phone to check.
She gasped when she saw them.
So many missed calls from her friends, that her eyes widened so much.
Since her mom’s incident, she barely touched her phone. Well, not when she was running around, looking for help. Where was the time to even check her phone?
She saw Bullet’s calls, and her heart skipped again.
“I hope he’s still not mad at me” She sighed.
Then, her friends calls too.
She smiled at the thought of how her friends care so much about her.
She felt like calling them back, but it was late, and they’d probably be sleeping already.
Ava rested her head well on the chair, with her arms placed on the armrest as she kept thinking about her mom.
“You’ll be alright, mummy. And I will be here until you wake up and make me laugh like you always do” She muffled.
Her mind suddenly remembered what her mom was trying to say about her sister….the name she was trying to call.
“W..W..haa! Could it be Winnie?
Same Winnie in school who happens to be my friend?
“No no, it can’t be. They’re lots of people with names that start with the letter W, it possibly can’t be Winnie. But what if she is? Is this why Winnie and I have become so close even more than Freya that I first met?
“Gosh! This is crazy! But then, if Winnie is actually my sister, I’d be so happy!” She smiled so hard as she thought about it.
[ BRISTOL UNIVERSITY ★ NEXT DAY ]
Winnie, Olivia and Freya just received their morning lectures, but didn’t find Ava.
“Crazy Winnie. I didn’t see Ava In class today, what happened? Is she alright?” Jaxon, who also has noticed Ava’s absence, walked to Winnie and asked.
They’ve all been worried about Ava, even Jaxon’s friends.
“We don’t know, Jaxon. That’s what we are trying to find out.
Who knows her home address, let’s go to her house” Archie suggested.
“Great idea, man. Winnie, you know her house, right?” Jaxon asked, already getting ready to follow Winnie.
“I do” Winnie answered, sharply.
“Then let’s go already” Jaxon said, bringing out his car keys.
“I didn’t come with my car, so y’all have to wait for me to get it” Winnie told him.
“But my car is available” Jaxon replied her.
Winnie rolled eyes and shook her head.
“It obviously can’t carry us all, Jaxon” She said.
“Okay….hurry up, please” Jaxon nodded and said.
Winnie smiled and left immediately.
The hostel is actually not far from where they are, so it won’t take long before she comes back.
[ ST. MICHAEL’S HOSPITAL ]
“How’s my mom? Can I see her now?” Ava sprang up immediately the doctor came out.
She actually slept on the chair she sat on yesterday, since she wasn’t allowed to enter the ward just yet.
“Doctor! You’re not answering me. How’s she, can I see her now?” Ava asked again, as the doctor wasn’t giving her a reply, making her hands to start sweating already.
The doctor shook his head, disappointedly and sighed. Staring at Ava in a such a sympathetic way.
“I am sorry, but we lost her last night. I’m sorry, we tried our best…I’m sorry” The doctor said and shook his head again, as he stared at Ava’s face that was about to explode.
“You are joking, right?” Ava suddenly let out a chuckle like someone who has suddenly lost it.
“We tried our best” The doctor told her again in pity.
Ava stood up like an insane person, running into her mom’s ward, which the doctor was trying to stop her but of course she wasn’t listening.
“Noooo! Mom!!!!” Ava screamed her lungs out, losing her voice in the process.
“Mummy!!! Noooo!” She slumped on her mom……
“Nooo!!!” She screamed aloud again and instantly woke up with tears in her eyes.
It was then she realized that she was just dreaming.
“Such a terrible dream. Nothing will happen to you, mummy. I promise, you’ve always been a strong woman that I admire. Nothing will happen to you” Ava said. She stood up and wiped her tears, then prayed for some minutes.
Felony actually went back home last night after staying with her for long.
Anyway, Ava got off the chair and went looking for the doctor in his office, and found him there, thankfully.
“Good morning, doctor” She greeted, respectfully.
The doctor greeted her back with a smile.
“Can I see her?” She asked straight away without wasting time at all. That was what brought her to his office anyway.
“Sure, come with me” The doctor answered and they both walked out of his office.
Ava’s heart couldn’t contain the happiness when she saw her mom.
She was sleeping so peacefully like nothing actually happened to her, except for the Ventilator and tubes on her chest.
“She should wake up any moment from now. It might take hours though, but she’d definitely wake up soon” The doctor told Ava.
Ava smiled.
The only thing that is dancing in her belly right now, is happy butterflies.
Thanks to whoever that paid for her mom’s treatment, her mom’s life has been saved by that person.
If she happens to find out about that person, she’s going to cherish and and always be grateful to the person for the rest of her life.
She couldn’t have asked for more.
“Thank you so much, doctor. You don’t know what you have done for me” Ava smiled, thankfully.
“I only tried my best, God did it” The doctor smiled too, then left afterwards.
“I love you, mummy” Ava said as she sat beside her mom.
She took out her phone and dialed Winnie, telling her everything that happened.
“Change of plans, everyone. Ava is in the hospital with her mom. She had a heart transplant” Winnie announced it to everyone when she came back from getting her car.
“What?!!! They all exclaimed at the same time.
[ ST. MICHAEL’S HOSPITAL ]
All of them rushed in the as soon they parked their cars.
“Ward 18” Jaxon said to a nurse who didn’t hesitate to direct them to Rose’s ward.
The nurse did not even finish talking, all off them rushed in immediately.
All of them ran to Ava and hugged her, even choking her.
“We had no idea something like this happened.
Called you severally, but you never picked.
Now we know why you did not pick any of our calls.
We are so sorry, baby” Winnie, Olivia and Freya all said at a time.
“It’s okay…we should all be happy that she’s alright” Ava smiled, hugging them again.
She looked at Jaxon who was standing beside her, and smiled. She then stood up and hugged him, then hugged her friends too.
“How are you?” Jaxon asked, kissing her hair.
“All better, unlike yesterday that I looked like an insane person” Ava said, sighing.
“Awww, our baby has gone through so much stress” They all said.
“I am a strong girl, trust me” Ava said, nodding her head as she made funny faces.
They laughed.
“How are you too?” She turned to Jaxon and asked.
“I am good now that I know you’re alright” Jaxon replied, honestly.
Ava smiled.
“How is she now?” Olivia asked, turning to look at Rose.
“She’s all good. The doctor said she’d wake up any moment from now” Ava answered her.
“Thank goodness” They sighed and took turns to kiss Rose’s forehead.
“Gosh, Ava! Now I know where you got your beauty from. Your mom is so beautiful!” Freya gushed.
“Right?” All of them chorused and started letting out short laughs.
Few minutes later *
Felony and Bullet came in too, and the moment Ava’s sighted him, her heart raced again.
She’s happy he’s here, and also worried that he might still be mad at her.
The girls gasped when they saw them, already blushing on behalf of Ava.
Jaxon’s face changed immediately, which Leo and Archie didn’t fail to notice the sudden expression on his face.
“Crybaby” Felony winked at Ava.
“Stop calling me a crybaby….please” Ava snapped, pouting, making everyone to chuckle.
“She said her name is big tigress, so I think you should be calling her that” Bullet joked as he walked in with Felony.
They all laughed, well, except for Jaxon.
Ava’s heart skipped again for the hundredth time because of Bullet, her hands became sweaty for no reason.
“Wait, he’s not mad at me?” She suddenly questioned herself after realizing what Bullet said about her being a big Tigress. Her eyes met Bullet’s own, staring at him, while he also was staring at her, but with no words.
“How’s she?” Felony asked, looking at Rose.
“She’s better” Ava replied, happily.
Felony and Bullet also went forth to kiss Rose’s forehead.
He then turned to face Ava.
“I am…..” Both Bullet and Ava said at the same time, causing them to both pause at the same time again.
The rest just kept looking at them.
The girls exchanging glances, Leo and Archie looking at Jaxon who wasn’t looking happy at all.

Anyway, Bullet held Ava’s hand and took her a bit far from where others were, so he could have a talk with her.
“I am…..” They said at a time again.
“You go first” Ava said to Bullet, trying to avoid his gaze.
Being given the go ahead, Bullet took a deep breath and faced Ava properly.
“I am sorry for trying to tell you how to live your life the other day. I guess I crossed my boundaries” Bullet said, heaving a sigh.
“It’s fine. I am also sorry for saying all that to you. I wasn’t thinking straight, believe me, I didn’t mean to say it” Ava said, feeling really sorry.
Bullet looked at her, lovingly and pulled her into a hug.
“So….are we good now?” He asked, waiting for a sweet reply.
“Yes, we are” Ava replied, smiling.
Bullet hugged her again, but kissed her forehead this time.
“I am permitted to do this, aren’t I?” Bullet asked, holding his breath a little.
Ava only giggled and said nothing.
“Now I know where your beauty comes from. Your mom is so damn beautiful, and I’m happy she’s alright now” Bullet spoke.
“All thanks to an anonymous who saved my mom’s life, but chose to remain anonymous” Ava replied with small smiles.
“Felony told me about it. You have people who care about you, you know” Bullet smiled, pocketing his hands.
“Geez! That was way more than care. And I must find out about that person.
You know how much ten thousand dollars is, Bullet. It’s a very huge sum of money” Ava breathed out, heavily.
“I know” Bullet could only chuckle.
Rose slowly and weakly opened her eyes, and the first person she caught sight of when she woke up was Winnie, because she was actually sitting very close to her.
“She’s awake! Oh my gosh!!” The girls screamed out loud in happiness.
Geez! You needed to see how Ava got there, when she heard her mom was awake.
In fact, she flew like a jet plane.
Even though Rose was weak and couldn’t even talk, she still smiled at her daughter when she saw her.
“I love you so much, mummy” Ava said as she caresses her hair benignly, giving her countless kisses on the forehead.
Olivia and the rest were just staring at Ava and her mom, adoringly. With happiness written all over their face.
“Be right back, guys” Ava said before going to get the doctor.
Jaxon was smiling all through as he watched her leave.
Well, Bullet wasn’t left out.
“I don’t think I’d be able to sleep tonight, I have to tell her” Jaxon spoke, inwardly.
Anyway, the doctor walked in with Ava behind him. He went straight to Rose, adjusted the Ventilator and put it well, then did other things that needed to be done too.
“Please try your best not to make much noise, she needs to rest right now” The doctor told Ava.
“We will, doctor. Thank you so much” Ava replied.
“Thank you, doctor” Bullet said to the doctor too, who smiled at him and nod his head before leaving.
“Phew! So glad mom is awake, I can’t express the joy in me. I almost died yesterday, I….I thought I was gonna lose her. Gosh! I don’t think I’ve ever been that scared before” Ava sighed out heavily, palming her face as she still couldn’t believe how it all started and how it went. She turned to look at her mom who had fallen asleep in peace, and just smiled.
“So sorry about that, Ava” All of her friends said at the same time.
They stayed with Ava till evening, before they started leaving.
It was Bullet and Felony that left first, then Jaxon and the rest prepared to leave too.
“Can I talk to you, please?” Jaxon moved to Ava’s side and asked.
Ava was seeing them off and they were all heading to where they parked their cars.
“Sure, Jax. What is it?” Ava asked, curiously and anxiously.
They both moved to Jaxon’s car, not too far from the others though.
“You’re beautiful, Ava. I really enjoy the times I spent with you. I know this isn’t the right time to say this, but I can’t hold back the feelings anymore.
I love you, Ava. For real” Jaxon spoke up with all honesty, not hiding anything at all.
“What…..you do?” Ava asked slowly. She wasn’t expecting and never saw that coming at all.
“So much, Ava. Can we date? Please….?” Jaxon shot it straight up, not beating around the bush at all.
“Jaxon?…….” Ava’s voice was filled with shock!
CHAPTER 47 & 48 : INSANELY IN LOVE WITH YOU
“Jaxon?…….” Ava’s voice was filled with shocks as she wasn’t expecting it.
She kept mute and couldn’t say anything, because she didn’t know what to say or the answer to give him.
“Um…..I….Jaxon” She paused, still not knowing what to say.
Jaxon was quiet, just staring at her and obviously waiting for a positive reply.
They both remained quiet, saying nothing!
Jaxon’s heart was beating so hard, and hoping she doesn’t reject him.
However, when it became too quiet, Jaxon spoke, breaking the silence.
“Please say something, Ava” He spoke, calmly.
“I am not sure about this, Jaxon. Give me some time to think about it” Ava finally replied him.
“That’s fine by me, just don’t take too long. I love you, Ava” Jaxon said and hugged her.
“Thanks, Jax” Ava replied. “Goodnight” she added, smiling.
“Goodnight, Ava. Do have a good night rest” Jaxon’s voice was calm with a smile on his face. Anyway, Ava smiled too and nodded before he left.
“Our baby….” Ava’s friends said, slowly.
“I can’t wait for when you’ll resume school. Gosh, the class was so boring today without you” Freya spoke, and Ava just giggled.
“I can’t wait either” Ava said too.
“Thanks for coming, babes. You’re such amazing friends, I love you guys so much” She said and started hugging them one at a time.
“We love you too, baby” They all chorused.
“Bye..” They then said as they got into the car.
She waved at them, and stood there watching them until their car went out of sight.
She headed back in, smiling.
What Jaxon told her just hit her brain, and her heart thumped hard.
“He loves me? And wants me to be his girlfriend. Wow!” She said as she walked in slowly.
“So….so Jaxon is in love with me? Is that why he has changed? Gosh!” Ava said and finally got to her mom’s ward, where she was seen sleeping, peacefully.
She sat beside her and started caressing her hair again, while smiling happily.
“I love you” She smiled wide.
[ JAXON’S EN SUITE ]
Jaxon and his friends just got home, feeling all tired.
They really spent much time at the hospital, since morning that they went.
While on their way home, all that was going through Jaxon’s mind, was Ava.
He wasn’t even concentrating on the drive home, he was worried.
Worried that Ava might not feel the same for him, worried that she might turn him down, and worried that Ava might take too long to give him a reply.
He loves Ava so much that he wishes Ava just said yes right away.
Well, at least he has freed his mind. But right now, his prayer is for Ava to love him back.
“You told her, huh?” Leo was the first to speak.
“I did” Jaxon replied, simply, and Leo just smiled.
“So…what was her reply?” Archie asked, sitting next to Jaxon.
He was operating his phone, so he dropped it, and stared at his friend as he sat.
“She said I should give her time to think about it” Jaxon replied, a smile escaping his lips.
“Do you think she loves you too? Or she’ll love you back?” Archie asked.
“I don’t know, man. All I pray for is for her to say yes” Jaxon quickly replied.
What if she says no?” Leo asked, looking at him.
“I don’t know” He replied simply, his heart beating hard a bit.

“I’m ready, mommy” Ava said as she walks out of her room.
Her mom feels better now, though not that very strong yet.
“My friends and I are going shopping after school, and maybe stop at the shop. Remember tomorrow is my Matriculation.
Woo hooo!” Ava screamed, dancing around like a baby.
Rose laughed at her daughter’s silliness, shaking her head sideways.
“My boredom pills. I can’t imagine a life without you” Rose laughed even more.
“I’m always here for you, mom” Ava giggled, sitting down beside her mom.
“You still haven’t found out about who paid my hospital bills and our house rent yet?” Rose then suddenly asked.
“Still on it, mom. I seriously don’t know who is so generous yet, wants to remain unknown” Ava replied.
“It’s quite funny, baby” Rose smiled.
“Seriously funny. Okay, see you later, mom.
Bye, mommy….love you…..” She dragged the word, and exited the room afterwards, leaving Rose to smile her pain away.
[ HARTS RESIDENCE ]
“Grand-Mapee!!” Maisie shouted out loudly, calling her Grand to come check her dress out.
She’s been trying different dresses, looking for a perfect one that she would wear to Jaxon’s Matriculation party.
Jaxon already told all of them not to come, that he would be fine. But definitely not Maisie and Grand, they’re never going to listen.
“Silly girl. If I am not mistaking, the party is for a guy named Jaxon, not Maisie. So pick any dress, I am tired already” Grand said.
“The party is for Jax bebe, so it’s mine also. Get up and come check this one out. Trust me, this one will blow your mind” Maisie said, trying to get her Grand off the couch.
“Calton and Margaret…..? I think it’s time we sold this girl out for some time” Grand said,frustratedly.
Neither Margaret nor Carlton was home though, just Maisie and Grand-Mapee.
Maisie laughed her a*ss out, but continued dragging her Grand to the room to watch her.

“Bye……Lecturer Marcus, we’ll miss you so much” All the students said to Lecturer Marcus who just ended the class, and was preparing to leave.
Deep down, they are happy the class is over, because everyone wants to prepare for their Matriculation party tomorrow.
“Miss your a*ses, not me. I know you’re all happy because I’m leaving” Lecturer Marcus said.
They all burst out laughing hard at his reply, Ava and her friends weren’t excluded.
While in class, Ava kept stealing glances at Jaxon, who wasn’t so far from where she sat.
She still hasn’t given him any reply yet. Her heart isn’t just telling her to.
“What time are we going for our shopping” Winnie was the one who started the conversation after being quiet for a moment.
“No specific time, any time we’re all ready, we can go” Olivia simply answered her.
“Alright. So, what should we do now? It’s kinda boring here actually” Winnie said, grabbing her phone from her bag to check the time.
“Let’s just sit and stare at each other” Freya said, funnily and they all just chuckled.
“Ava…..?” Olivia suddenly called, questioningly as she turned to face Ava. “You’ve been quiet and not saying anything, what’s up with you?” Olivia asked, a bit worried, and hoping it’s not about her mom something related to that.
“Nothing, I’m fine” She just smiled.
“That’s not true. C’mon, say it or we force it out of your mouth” Freya chirped in.
“Yeah. Spill it now” Winnie joined too as they all turned to look at Ava.
“Gossips, I know you won’t let me rest until I tell you” Ava rolled eyes, shaking her head.
“We do that for a living” Her friends replied and started laughing.
“Okay…..Jaxon asked me out” Ava said it out loud to their hearing, and their eyes were a bit wide in surprise, as that wasn’t what they were expecting to hear.
“Oh my gosh! What!?” They all chorused.
“Yeah….” Ava replied, slowly.
“For real? Since when?” They all asked at the same time again.
“Since last week” Ava almost felt like not telling them how long this had been.
“What! And you’re just telling us now? Gosh, Ava!” All of them gave Ava a big frown.
“I know. And I’m sorry, babes. I’ve just been choked up with so many things that I even forgot to tell you guys”.
“It’s okay, baby, we understand. Anyway, did you say yes?” Olivia quickly asked, her ears wide like antennas as she sat well to hear the full gist.
“Nope, I told him to give me time to think about it” Ava answered, drinking from her juice pack.
“You’re still not sure if you feel same way for him.
But it’s one week already, don’t you think it’s long enough? Winnie asked, keenly like a detective.
“I don’t know, Winnie. It’s frustrating” Confused Ava replied.
“What’s on your mind?” Detective number 3, who happened to be Freya, asked her own question.
“I…I don’t know” Ava stuttered, not knowing or sure of what to say.
They suddenly went silent and said nothing again.
After some minutes, Ava spoke again.
“What would you do if you think two guys are in love with you, not so sure about one though?” She suddenly asked, dropping her juice on her thighs as she patiently waited for her friends reply.
“Oh…I sense a love triangle here” Winnie smiled hard, even blushing on behalf of Ava.
“Well, the question here should be, who does your heart beat for?” Winnie asked.
“I think I….I’m in love with Bullet. He’s the only one my heart beats for, but I don’t think he feels same way for me, he’s not saying anything” Ava replied, truthfully, moving her eyes in a cute, funny way.
“Awwww” The girls gushed, their cheeks turning so red already.
“So, what are you gonna d o now?” Winnie was the one who asked again.
“I don’t know. Let’s go do our shopping, please” Ava replied, finally trashing her juice can in the waste bin, which she just finished.
[ THE BULLTASTIC 4 APARTMENT ]
“Oh my gawd, Carla! This is fire! So damn hot” Isla and Ivy could be seen gushing over Carla’s beautiful dress.
Truth be told, the dress really looks good on her. They did their shopping some days ago, and today they are just trying their dresses out.
“If Bullet doesn’t notice me tomorrow, I wonder who else he would be looking at” Carla said as she dances around, showing off her beautiful dress and curves. Her hot body giving it.
“Seriously, baby. They will all be left agape by the time we show up in that hall” Ivy said, showing off her own too.
“I wonder what that poor rat is gonna wear tomorrow” Ivy suddenly said, referring to Ava.
“One of her old rags of course” Isla replied and they burst out laughing.
Harper who was sitting at a corner, just hissed at them, shaking her head.
“You know what I’m gonna get for y’all? Bottles of water, because you’re gonna be fainting without break tomorrow” Harper spoke, she then returned her gaze to her phone that she was operating on.
“Stupid girl!” They shouted after her as she suddenly stood up and walked out on them.
Harper gave them a middle finger, raising it high up in the air for them to see well.
[ DANCE HALL★ ]
Immediately after class, Jaxon and his friends headed to the dance hall to practice for tomorrow.
“She still hasn’t said yes?” Archie asked.
“She hasn’t, and that bothers me a lot. Why isn’t she saying anything? I thought she said she likes me too?” Worried and frustrated Jaxon wondered why Ava still hasn’t given him any reply yet.
“Chill, man. I bet she will come around, let’s just continue, please” Leo said.
“What if she says no?” Jaxon suddenly asked.
“I should be the one asking you that, because I don’t know what you will do if she says no” Archie spoke.
“This is crazy, damn!” Leo said, shaking his head seriously.
[ AVA’S RESIDENCE★ NIGHT ]
Ava laid on her bed, while going through her phone. Actually chatting with friends.
She and her friends did mad shopping today. Different types of dresses that they bought, not only for the party though, but for regular purposes. So apparently, Ava has a lot of new clothes which her friends actually bought for het, with a little of her money included though. And that’s because she insisted, because Olivia was ready to buy the whole boutique for them. Actually, all expenses/bills were on her.
Anyway, Ava was still chatting with them, when Bullet’s call came in that instant.
Her heart skipped and she could hear it loud and clear…..so loud that she had to hold her chest before it falls off. Lol.
“Gosh, can you stop doing this?” She said to her innocent heart that wouldn’t even listen, even if it could hear her.
She smiled anyway before picking up.
“How is big tigress doing?” Bullet asked the moment Ava picked.
“She’s all good” Ava giggled.
“What’s up with you?” Ava asked.
“Nothing, I just called to check on you…..and well, hear your voice” Bullet chuckled, and she giggled from her own end. “So, I heard tomorrow is your Matriculation/freshman party” Bullet started.
“You heard or you know” Ava rolled eyes, like he could even see that.
Anyway, Bullet chuckled.
“Will you attend the party?” She then asked.
“I won’t miss it for anything, it’s my big tigress’s Matriculation party, you know. Well, except the big tigress says I shouldn’t come” Bullet jokingly said.
“Yeah, yeah…..whatever” Ava giggled and he chuckled.
“How’s your mom?” He then asked.
“She’s stronger than ever” Ava replied in a very happy tone.
“Great” Bullet’s reply was calm and just cool.
They both didn’t feel like ending the call, so they spoke for long before Bullet decided to let her go, since it’s late too.
“I will see you in school tomorrow then” He told her.
“Sure” Ava said too, and hung up afterwards.

“They’re gonna faint over and over and over!!” Olivia screamed out in excitement.
“Seriously. I think we should get shock absorbers, slippers and buckets of water to pour on some people, because this dressing of ours is….”

The girls screamed in excitement and started laughing so loud that they almost brought the building down.
“Gosh….Ava! How did I not see this at the boutique? iIt looks so good on you”
“I know, right?” Ava replied, showing off her dressing.
She cat walked to the entrance door and stood, striking poses like a model.
She swayed her slim body, curves and hair, making her look hot and s*xier than ever.
Ava then cat walked back to them, giving them her charming smile with her light make up that brought out her inner most beauty.
When she got to them, she smiled again and winked.

They just couldn’t explain why they were so happy, but they knew they were extremely happy.

Everyone is seated, and anxiously waiting for the party to start already.
The Matriculation itself has taken place since morning.
The party going on is organised by the Matriculated students, that’s why it’s happening now, coupled with Jaxon and co’s concert.

“Hey, dudes. Have you seen….”
Jaxon’s jaw dropped as he couldn’t complete his statement. Archie’s own dropped too, likewise Leo’s.
“THE CHARMING FOUR” just entered the hall.
They were cat walking in slow mo, swaying their bodies, flaunting their hairs from side to side.
Jaxon’s eyes were fixed on Ava, with his mouth wide agape.
Just then, Bullet and Felony came in too through the main entrance.
His jaw also dropped, eyes widened in complete admiration. He knows Ava is beautiful but today, she’s super, dazzling, breathtaking. In fact, she’s on fire and Bullet is about to get burnt by that fire.
“Your girlfriend is a hot model” Felony teased Bullet. Even she who was a lady too, just couldn’t help admiring her fellow girls.
They look too hot for anyone to not admire or look at them countless times.
Everywhere suddenly went silent.
Carla and Ivy already fainted when they saw them. Back at their apartment, they thought Ava was going to wear some cheap clothes.
Well, not when she has rich and amazing friends.
Meanwhile, Archie and Leo have been fighting on who to look at Olivia the most.
Archie would cover Leo’s eyes with his palm, while Leo would do same to him. They were just acting like babies.
THE CHARMING FOUR finally walked in fully and joined the rest.

The party has been going on and everyone is having a good time too.
Ava sat with her friends, close to the stage.
After some time, they all went to the stage to dance although, not everyone did as not everyone was interested in dancing.
Ava and friends were on the stage too, dancing.
Everyone was dancing and enjoying his or herself.
In less than ten minutes, Ava got into the spirit of dancing, so much that she lost her brain totally, dancing so crazily like a dance goddess, she swerved her body, giving crazy and gobsmacking moves.
She suddenly started dancing like a robot, which knocked everyone ouy. It was as if there’s no bone in her body. Her flexible slim body, making the dance look so easy.
Ava was madly dancing and having fun. From breakdancing to whining and twirling her tiny waste, shocking ever f**king person in the hall.
No one has ever seen her dance, she always says (I don’t know how to dance), whenever she’s asked to come dance.
They all made way for the dance queen, and she was now given a big space on the stage for her to dance.
Meanwhile, Bullet couldn’t breath well, his breath was taken away, seeing the way Ava was dancing which he had never imagined Ava to be such a good dancer. He was really having great fun, not until Jaxon grabbed Ava and kissed her deeply like never before, shocking the life out of her and everyone else’s, including himself.
He couldn’t control himself at all. Seeing her dancing like that too, really drove him crazy, and the fact that he had fallen so much for Ava, made him feel some kind of feelings he had never felt before. It was mad!
However, while that went on, Jaxon received a hard punch on the face, just out of nowhere.
“Fck!” He cursed, and when he turned to see who punched him, he immediately returned the punch to the person with full force. “You moderfcker!….”
“How dare you kiss her, huh? How dare you even touch her? She’s mine!” Bullet thundered aloud, not realizing what he just said. He punched and kicked Jaxon more than he did the first time.
However, Jaxon didn’t fail to the return the energy. Before everyone knew it, a big fight had ensued and soon, blood started coming out of Jaxon’s nose and mouth, as well as Bullet’s own.
“Bullet…” Ava called slowly, but he wasn’t listening, he wasn’t satisfied yet…..he wasn’t done.
He went again, punching Jaxon even harder.
Finally, Ava managed to pull him away with the little strength she has, she then turned him to face her, looking at him with so much anger in her.
“Why the hell do you keep doing this? Why do you always get angry when you see me around a…..You keep embarrassing me….just tell me why…..”
“Because I am in in love with you, Ava!
