Episode 16 : Parker’s Worry About Diana

Mr Parker slammed his phone angrily on his desk as sadness was written all over his face “this is so unbelievable, why would Derek just marry our daughter just like that and he not even allowing her out of his premises when she is not a prisoner” his wife panicked after her husband told her that Derek just informed him that he just got married to Diana.
“Joel,we need to look for his money as soon as possible, I’m not comfortable with my daughter being with him” Mrs Parker complained, Mr Parker sighed “relax honey, I’m not also happy with our daughter being with him,I just don’t know how to get the money,I’m so hopeless” he said he embraced as she was already crying,Tiana stood hiding by the door,she heard the breaking news and it got her so angry, she wonder why Derek was interested in Diana, she liked him so much and he did not notice her but Diana instead and now they are married, oh! she felt so just jealous.
Derek yawned softly and then make an attempt to turn over when he felt a weight on his chest,he turned to look and then found Diana sleeping next to him wit her chest resting on his chest while her arms were around his waist, he was stunned to see her next to him like that, then he laughed softly because he knew that she would get so mad to find the laying in such position,she moved then placed her leg on him, Derek could not stop smiling,he stared at her pretty face for a while then lifted his hand to caress her face before she finally woke up with a loud yawn.
Diana blinked her eyes severally before she realise the position she had slept,she nearly jumped from the bed as she hold the duvet close to her body “what… what am I doing here? how did I end up on the bed?” She asked as she frown at him,Derek smiled as he stood up from the bed
“Is that how to say good morning to ur husband?”
“I asked a question”.
Episode 17 : A Night of Fear
He frown when she yelled at him “I thought I was being nice when I decided to allow u sleep on the bed but it seem I’m the bad one now” he said then went into the bathroom, she looked at her body then sighed in relief to find her cloth still intact, she wonder why he took her to bed and he did not even make any attempt to touch her, why? he came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, Diana’s eyes fell on his exposed body,he had six pack,good looking six packing,his skin was so smooth and fresh that she found herself imaging how soft it would feels if she touch it
“What are u starring at” Derek’s voice jutted her out of her thought “starring?…
I wasn’t starring at anything” she said then quickly stood up and went into the bathroom just to avoid his suspicious gaze,Derek caught her starring at him and she was unknowingly blushing, he smiled and shake his head before getting dressed.
Diana came out from the bathroom and sighed in relief when she find out Derek was not in the room, she quickly dressed up then went to the dinning table,Granny and Derek were already seated having breakfast.
“Good morning Granny” Diana greeted granny wit a smile while she took her sit next to her “morning my dear,how was ur night” “it was fine thank you” she said then a maid who stood standby served her breakfast, Derek was reading from a news paper he looked so engrossed with it while Diana was eating from her food,Granny was quite as she looked at the both of curiously,the silence in the air was making feel uncomfortable “what’s really going on between u to” Granny asked “huh..what..”
Derek and Diana chorused “are the both of u really couples” she asked gazing at the both of them intensively “Granny, why are u asking such question” Derek asked “because u both are nt acting like one,I know real couples when I see one,do u guys love each other? ” she asked Derek smiled nervously.
Episode 18 : Proving Love to Granny
“Come on Granny, we are both in love with each other” he lied and look at Diana who gave him a glared “if u two are truly in love then why is she sitting next to me instead with u” Granny said Diana looked at Derek for a reply.
but he only gave her a sigh to seat next to him,she reluctantly stood up then sat next to him “she just felt like seating with you,isn’t it honey” he cooed as he caress her chin “yes” Diana nodded nervously, she was not feeling comfortable with all this pretence she have never done such in her life ,”you said you love each other so you have to prove it to me right now “.
“prove it to you?how?” Derek asked curiously “to prove it to me you have to kiss each other” Diana gasped and then turn to look at Derek who also had shook written on his face “what? is there a problem with you guy kissing each other” Granny asked as she frown at them, Derek chuckles then he took hold of Diana’s hand gently “not at all Granny, we are going to prove it to u right now”.
He said before Diana could blink her eyes he pulled her close to him and then kissed her on the lips gently, Diana could feel heart beating so fast as he dive his way into her mouth giving her no space to protest.
After a long kiss Granny cleared her throat causing the both of them to break free from each other, Diana stared at Derek and then found him smiling at her,why is he smiling at a situation like this?
“Okey, I believe you now, there is no need for u kiss anymore before I have heart attack” Granny said wit a smile and hold her cheat dramatically.
“Thank goodness believe us” he muttered then they quietly eat their food.
Diana sat next to Derek in his car as his driver drove them to her school,she kept stealing glance at him as he was busy with his phone.
“Is there no other alternative” she voice out “huh?” Derek turned to look at her.
Episode 19 : Growing Frustration
“I don’t think I can keep up with this prank any more,I can’t bear it lying to an old woman” she said tiredly, “well u don’t have a choice, you’re in it all ready so u have to play along” “why me?why are you punishing me? I never want to get married to u but u forcefully marry me and now u want me to keep up with this silly pretence, why me?”
She said angrily, Derek chuckles “remember the first time we met,you remember my promise to you to you right” he said with a smirk, she remember how he spilled water on her and how angry he was telling her that when next they will met she will have to apologize to him “so this was all about it right ok, I’m sorry so sorry ” she said with a teary eye “too late wife,sorry can’t do you anything now” he said with a smile, she frown at him “you’re so wicked, I can’t believe would actually wanted to ruin my life all for a silly argument, you’re a monster” she yelled at him as tears fell from her eyes he glared at her “don’t you dare call me a monster” “because that’s what you are a monster, I hate you” she yelled at him then she came down from the car immediately they drove right into the school, Derek clenched his fist angrily as her words replayed in his head “I hate you” he wonder why he felt unhappy as she said those words to him
Diana sat in the school garden as she felt like staying alone to cry out her eyes “Diana” she heard her name from a familiar voice,it was Tiana,Diana rushed to embrace her,she missed her so much just one day of staying away from her family she have already miss them.
“Derek told us he had got married to u just like that why would he do that” Tiana said as they both sat on the bench in the garden, Diana wiped and sniffed her tears “it is true Tiana, that jerk forcefully marry me and now I have stay away from my family and pretend to be his lovely wife to his Granny” she said.
Episode 20 : Jealousy and Confession
“Wait a minute,what do u mean you by pretending to his granny I don’t get u” Tiana ask curiously, “yes Diana,I’ll tell you what have been going on….” she began to narrate how Derek ask her to pretend to his grandmother that they were both in love.
“so now we both sleep in the same room and on the same bed and we hold hand and smile at each other which disgust me,and we even kissed in the present of his granny just to make her believe we love each other” Diana said in frustration “you mean the both if u have kissed” Tiana ask “yes Tiana and it so annoying that i…kinda like it …
oh god wat I’m I even saying” Diana said with an heavy sigh, Tiana frown as Diana said she and Derek have kissed and now she is saying that she like it, the jealousy in her heart is beginning to increase she just pray that Diana does not fall in love with Derek ,Tiana forced out a smile as she stroke Diana gently on the back “relax sis, everything would be fine,you just have to try not to get too close to him and make sure you don’t bow to his needs,why would u have to pretend to his grandmother when the both of u are not in good terms” “I know, I’m so helpless right now I need help” she said “you have to keep me updated while you still with him so I can tell u what to do” “the jerk seized my phone” “you can still figure out away to contact me at least we still me in school” Tiana suggested while Diana gave it a thought then nodded while they embraced.
Diana arrived at the mansion feeling so tired,she went into the sank on the bed as she drank the cold juice she order a maid to bring for her then she heard a knock on the door before the door went open reviewing Granny.
