Episode 31 : Struggle with Feelings
“Buddy”
The voice kept calling , Derek pulled away from her and stood up “that voice sounds familiar”he said as he went out of the room, Diana wonder who was that person that interrupted Derek from kissing, and why was she even expecting him to kiss her at
the first place.
She came out of the room then found Derek embracing a man warmly “hey kiddo, you look all grown up now”derek smiled as he ruffled the man’s head “come on cousin, I’m a man now I’m turning twenty seven this year”.
“Whatever, you’re still My kiddo”Derek teased him Derek sighted Diana then he Smile “here come my wife”he said as the man turn to lool at Diana with a gaps escaping his lips.
“Cupcake”the man said in surprise “Nico”diana said in shook, Nicholas ran towards Diana the hug her and spunned her around causing her to giggle in delight , Derek stood and watched them while he felt his anger raising as his cousin hold.
Diana like That.
“Oh cupcake, I missed u so much”he told her Diana smiled “me too Nico” she said “do u guys know each other”derek asked as he took hold of Diana’s hand thrn pulled her closer to him “yes we do, we both attend Same high school and we are close buddy we only lost contact as soon as I left for paris”Nicholas said “u left without coming back.
to see me” Diana said faming an angry face at him while he let out a charming smile “sorry cupcake but u no I never stop sending u messages….and how come u are married to my cousin brother”he asked curiously, Diana looked at Derek and found him smiling at her “well, she is my lovly wife, no long explanation to that”he said as he bowed into her she wonder why he was still pretending in the present of his brother when granny was not here
“Oh…well cupcake we have alot of talking and hanging out to do, I’ll also like to tiana too i’ve miss het too”he said as he try to pull diana from while Derek still hold her firmly.
Episode 32 : Protective Instincts
“Don’t u think u need some rest since u are just arriving Nicholas, and how come u didn’t inform me that u Will be coming over?”Derek said as he pulled Diana back to his side “well, I come here for a film shooting, my crew and I arrive here yesterday they booked rooms in a hotel, but why should I sleep in an hotel when I have a house here”he said granny came down stairs she felt so happy to see her sister’s grandson .
“oh my Nicholas, u look skinny aren’t u eating anymore”granny asked as she scanned him from head to toe “I don’t get u guys anymore,some minute ago Derek said I’m all grown up and now granny is saying I’m so skinny, which one will I believe”he said with a frown “don’t mind him now that u are here I’m going to feed u properly”granny said as they went to the dinning table to have dinner, Nicholas pulled Diana yo seat with him derek frown at them “Diana come sit with me”he said in an husky voice, Diana slowly sat next to derek while the maids dished out their food, diana does not like grilled fish so she separate it out of her food Nicholas noticed it then laughed.
“Cupcake u still don’t like grilled fish?”he asked diana smiled “yes nico you know I never liked it”she said Nicholas chuckles then he picked out the fishe from her plate then ate it “I know u will do that”Diana said granny watched them curiously “u two know each other”she asked “yes granny Diana was my buddy back then in high school”Nicholas said with a grin on his cute face abd then he winked at Diana who blushed , Derek who have been quite watching the scene felt his blood blowing in anger, his cousin is trying to flirt with his wife, he wonder why he felt jealous seeing the two of them getting so along with each other, she is his wife.
Episode 33 : Growing Tension
The next morning, Diana descend from the stairs with her bag and textbooks in her hands ready to go to school, Nicholas sighted and smiled
“Good morning cupcake”.
“Morning nico”she smiled.
“Going to school? “He asked while she nodded “alright then let me drop u off…” “no need for that, I’ll drop her off myself”Derek said as he came down stairs fully dressed in his working out fit “come let’s go Diana”Derek said while he took her hand “no need for that Derek, nico said he will drop me off at school”she said.
Pulling her hands away from him, he glared at her and was about to scold her before granny came into the scene stopping him to say what he has to say, “come on bro, it’s not a big deal if I take her to school and besides I will like to use this opportunity to see her twin sister too”Nicholas said pouting his lips “come on Derek Let him take her to school”granny contributed, Derek looked at Diana for a while then nodded in agreement, Nicholas smiled then took Diana’s bag “let me help u with your bag sister in law”he said which caused diana to laugh while they both left the building.
Derek could Not deny the fact that he was so jealous with their closeness, she should be smiling with him like that but he guess he do Not deserve it one bit, he have always been so cruel to her, wish he have been a bit nice to her, he wonder why he was thinking this wau towards her, what is she doing to him?? Wait a minute….has he fallen in love with her??
“So tell me cupcake, how did u and my cousin met before getting married”Nicholas asked as he dribr her to school, Diana wonder if she could tell him all that have been going on.
“Is there a problem”he jottled her out of her thoughts “no “She said quietly “come on tell me Diana, whatever it is u can still share it with me, remember it me your nico”he said with a cute smile , Diana exhaled slowly then she began.
Episode 34 : A Tense Dinner with Granny
She began to narrate everything that have been going on and as she does so she was weeping, Nicholas embraced her gently feeling so sorry for her,
“I know Derek could be so ruthless and hard but I never believe he would.
do something as crazy as this” he said “I don’t know what else to do anymore nico I’m so helpless right now” she said sadly Nicholas took her hands gently “don’t worry I’m right here to help u,as long as u still want a divorce from him then I’m ready to make your dream come true” he said as he stared into her green eyes.
“Really? You’re going to help me?she asked Nicholas smile as he caress her soft cheek ” yes cupcake,I’m ready to do anything for u as long as it makes u happy “he said while she smiled ” thank you so much nico you’re the best”she embraced him happy while she came down with him from the car, tiana was surprised to see Nicholas after all this years in high school, Nicholas could not stay that long with them so he bid them goodbye.
Diana happily told tiana that Nicholas was willing to help her get free from Derek, “really?that’s good to hear” tiana exclaimed happily “yes,he said he is ready to anything for me and I’m so happy that he is there for me “she replied.
Derek came back home feeling a bit moody,ever since in the morning he allowed Nicholas to ride Diana to school he has been like that,
” welcome Derek ” he turned to find Nicholas sitting on a sofa wit a smile on his face “hmmmn thank you” Derek muttered as he does not feel like talking to him so he turned to leave “she told me everything” Nicholas said suddenly which caused Derek to look at him in confusion “what did u say” he asked, Nicholas smiled as he stood up and walked toward him.
“She told me how u guys got married” he said,now Derek knew he was talking about Diana so he let out a frown “and how is that your business” he ask
Episode 35 : Unexpected Proposal
“And how is that your business” he asked Nicholas who only gave him a smile “Diana is my best friend and I know almost everything in her life, I won’t be happy to find out that my dear cousin brother forced her into a contract marriage” Nicholas said with a frown on his face “and I’m sure she must have told u that her father is owing me a loan”. “I don’t care Derek, you’re maltreating her by getting married to her against her own will, she does not like you one bit,this seems like kidnapping to me,u even forced her to pretend to granny that you guys are in love?
How ridiculous “Nicholas half yelled at him which caused Derek to get angry,” how dear you yell at me in my own house “Derek said furiously ” I’m not yelling at you Derek, I just want to let you know that I’m not happy with the way my cupcake is been treated by you” Derek moved closer to him with a smirk on his face “remember that your cupcake is my wife,my wife okey, so anything I do with her is non of your business, so back off” he said then left Nicholas watching his existing back, Nicholas felt like giving Derek a good first, how dear him maltreat Diana, his Diana, he have always love Diana from high school he had feelings for her but he did not know how he was going to show it to her how deeply he was in love with her,but now he is not going to hide it anymore, he is going to do anything to have her to his side,no one is going to stop him from having his cupcake,not even Derek
Derek was so furious with the way Nicholas spoke to him earlier on,he wonder why he felt so bad when Nicholas told him that Diana does not like him one bit,after all the things he did to her he was not expecting her to like him. He walk into the room with his mind lost in thought as he walked into the room just to find Diana in a White towel wrapped around her chest,her laps was reviewed “oh God!!
“Derek said ,Diana turned to find Derek starring at her ,she quickly covered her self with her hands ” can’t you knock “she yelled at him, Derek lowered his eyes ” I’m ….I’m sorry I didn’t know you were undressed “he said ” you should have know that a lady is now sharing your room with you”she frown at him Derek scanned her from head to toe, he have never seen her like this before, she look so beautiful without clothes on, Diana felt so unease as he kept on looking at her like that “hey, stop starring”.
