Episode 11 : Standing Up
🎒Sapphire
“Aargh”. I yelled pacing around angrily.
“Sapphire, you need to calm down”. Kimberly soothed me.
“I cant believe Carl helped that … that disgusting thing who kissed my boyfriend”.
“Its a good thing Justin doesn’t talk to girls”. Kim said.
I rolled my eyes. “Just help me think of what to do to this Elsa”.
She shrugged. “I don’t know. What you did to her today is probably enough”.
“I don’t think she’ll stay away from Kyle”. I said worried. “I mean what if Kyle eventually likes her?”.
“That will never happen”. Kim assured me. “Kyle can never like that bitch, Elsa”.
“But I have to make sure of that”.
“Well just do to her what you did to that girl in 11th grade”.
I paused. “You mean that bitch that Kyle dated?”.
“Yeah I mean she’s a shadow of her self now.
No one even remembers her, not even Kyle”.
“Carl must have done it for a reason”. One of my crew, Peggy said all of a sudden.
“Huh?”. Kim and I said at the same time.
“You know, Carl helping Elsa. He must have done it for a reason”. She repeated.
I sighed. “I know that but I don’t know why”.
“Do you think Carl likes this Elsa girl?”. Kim asked me.
I sat on a table. “Thats not possible, Carl doesn’t go after girls like that”.
“Well yeah but for him to help the newbie means a lot of things”. Addison said.
“And you know she and Carl were talking during Biology Class before that happened yesterday”. Kim added.
“Its none of my business if Carl likes her. I’m going to show this Elsa hell in this school”.
Kim crossed her arms. “And how do you intend to do that?”.
“I have a plan in mind but we just have to use someone close to her”. I replied evilly.
She raised an eyebrow. “Beverly?”.
I smirked. “Beverly Smith”.
🍭Kyle🍭
“Carl is right, maybe you should stop playing around with the girls he like after all Bryan was our friend”. Justin said softly.
I scoffed inwardly. Seriously? Why are they all on Bryan’s side?
Sean laughed watching the video on his phone.
“Sapphire is really creative, did you watch the way she dunked that girl’s hair into the toilet?”.
“Now is not the time, Sean”. Justin told him off. “Kyle, you need to stop Sapphire before she hurts this girl even more”.
“Well I’m not gonna stop Sapphire”. I said harshly.
“I’m going to make life miserable for Elsa in this school and if anything happens to her, it will be Bryan’s fault after all he fell in love with her”.
Carl groaned. “Dude!! Stop being stubborn”.
“I’m out”. I stood up annoyed.
“Where are you going?”. Sean asked.
“I wanna pay a visit to an old friend. Are you guys coming?”.
They all agreed and stood up following me.
I’m Kyle Vegas, school’s president and every girls dream.
And what you witnessed earlier between me and Elsa is called pure acting, i only kissed her for a reason known to me only and of course Bryan.
I’m a player not because I’m handsome with good looks and all that or because I’m popular and no girl can resist me.
There only reason I’m a player is because of Bryan. He caused all this so I’m gonna end it.
🍭Bryan🍭
I stared at her as she laughed, she’s really beautiful with her brown hair and caramel brown eyes.
I liked her from the first day we met but sadly she’s interested in Kyle.
I really don’t want to repeat the same mistake I’ve been making since.
All the girls I’ve ever dated always went to Kyle.
But now Elsa, she’s going to do the same thing also, go straight to Kyle.
Gosh!! I have to stop this feeling and push it away.
No, no, I can not fall in love with Elsa Reyes.
“Bryan”. She called jerking me out of my thoughts.
“Huh?”.
“My hair still smells”. She whined.
“Why didn’t you retaliate when Sapphire attacked you”. I asked curious.
She sat back on the bench with me. “I guess I couldn’t stand up for myself”.
“Oh”.
“I was really scared of what she was gonna do”. She continued.
I held her palm. “I’m sorry, i wasn’t there to help”.
“Its okay. I’m used to this after all, beating, bullying and all this stuff”.
Beating? Bullying?
Has she been bullied before?
Maybe In her former school?
“You were being bullied before?”. I asked surprised.
“Umm, gosh i need to wash my hair”. She stood up abruptly changing the subject.
“There are bathrooms in the locker room”. I told her.
She sighed. “What if Sapphire is there?”.
“Carl helped you so I don’t think she will trouble you again at least for today”.
“I’ll go wash up my hair in the girls locker room if you teach me how to paint”.
“You know that either way you are still gonna wash your hair because it smells like toilet water”.
She groaned. “Don’t remind me”.
I chuckled seeing her face expression. “You better go now before its lunch time”.
“I actually don’t know the way”. She said truthfully.
I described the direction and she nodded running off but she stopped and turned back.
She crossed her arms. “Where are you going to be? You still need to teach me how to paint”.
“Any empty classrooms”.
“Here’s my backpack incase I don’t find you so you have to find me”. She said placing it on my legs.
She went off.
I held her backpack sitting down for a while before I walked out of the school garden strolling through the school hallway.
My phone immediately beeped signaling a text.
I took my phone out from my side pocket and glanced at it.
A text from Carl.
They are coming over
I slide my phone back into my pocket and went into an empty classroom. I sat on one of the tables dropping my backpack sighing.
Kyle was looking for me, i knew why. This was what he did before which made me heartbroken but I’m not gonna let him do it again.
I clenched my fists as what he did to her, my ex-girlfriend flashed through my mind.
Episode 12 : Cheerleader Conflicts
🍭Elsa🍭
I walked out the girls locker room as my hands went through my hair.
really glad I washed it.
I noticed everyone in the school hallway giving me side glances especially the girls but I ignored them.
Gosh!! I regret ever kissing Kyle and I still cant believe Sapphire did that to me.
I was still angry from the whole thing, i really need to give her some payback but how?
I went to the school garden and noticed Bryan had left. He said any empty class, i walked out of the school garden and went to the first class. I entered and saw Bryan.
“Hey”. I called.
He smiled when he saw him and his smile was really breathtaking just like Kyle.
Gosh!! Elsa forget about Kyle, he’s just a player. My subconscious reminded me.
“Elsa?”.
“Huh?”.
He chuckled. “Did you wash your hair?”.
“Yep and now its back to normal”. I flipped my hair.
“Good for you. Anyways here’s your bag”.
I took my backpack. “And you still have to teach me how to paint just like we agreed”.
“I’m not sure we made an agreement like that”. He joked.
“Bryan!!”. I hit him playfully.
He laughed. “Okay fine. I’ll teach you”.
“You better or else I’ll punch you”.
“Oh really? With those baby fingers of yours?”. He teased me.
I gasped. “I can punch you know”.
He opened his arms wide. “Okay punch me”.
“On your chest?”. I asked kinda nervous.
He nodded. “You said you can punch so go ahead”.
I balled my fingers into a fist and punched his chest but he didn’t budge.
He crossed his arms. “Elsa, thats not even the right way to clench your fist”.
“Please show me the right way. Bryan”. I said sarcastically.
He smiled. Okay!! He really have to stop smiling.
He brought his palm out.
I raised an eyebrow. “What?”.
“Give me your hand”. He instructed.
I gave him my hand and he held it which made me feel this strange feeling as he held my hand.
He folded my fingers into a fist.
“Thats the same thing I did”. I said watching him.
“You punched me with your thumb outside your fist”. He told him.
“So?”.
He placed my thumb inside as he folded my fingers into a fist.
“This is how you punch”. He explained. “Give a try”.
I folded my fists with my thumb inside like he said and punched him on his chest. I knew he felt it.
I giggled. “Fuck!! This is so great. I feel like I’m a born fighter”.
“Hold it up there. Miss enthusiastic”. He mocked me.
“You need to teach me how to fight”.
“Fight? What for?”. He asked surprised.
“So I can defend myself”. I replied in a ‘duh’ tone.
“I thought you wanna learn how to paint”.
“How about you teach me how to paint at my house? I mean, Beverly’s place”.
“Nope”. He refused.
“Fine then, Victoria will teach me”.

“Hey Vic”. Tristan said sitting down next to her at the back of class.
“Tris”. She smiled.
“Drawing, huh? As always”. He teased her.
She giggled. “I just like to feel the sense of my surroundings”.
She continued drawing on the piece of paper.
“Umm, i need to talk with you about, uh, the kiss yesterday”. Tristan said nervously.
“Oh that”. She tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear shyly. “What about it?”.
“I umm, don’t you think we should talk about it?”.
She glanced at him. “Sure. What do you wanna say?”.
“Yeah, I actually__”.
“Hey Tristan”.
He was interrupted by the queen bee of her class coming over.
“Nicole. I’m kinda busy”.
She rolled her eyes. “Oh please, with her?”.
“Yes, we are actually talking about something important right now”.
Nicole pouted. “But you promised to eat lunch with me”.
Tristan sighed. “I’ll meet you there in a minute”.
Nicole blew him a kiss. “I’ll be waiting”.
“Uh, Vic, i gotta go”.
Victoria nodded sadly. “Yeah sure they are your friends”.
Tristan stood up and left.
Victoria stared at his retreating figure as she watched him sadly. She actually wanted him to stay with her but he left.

“Victoria is an amateur in painting, she only knows how to draw”. He said.
“Well I’ll just .. “. I trailed off.
He crossed his arms staring at me.
I sighed. “Okay fine. Please teach me how to paint”.
“I am teaching you but not in Beverly’s place”. He said.
I groaned. “Why not?”.
“How about my place?”. He asked. “We can still work on the English essay”.
“Okay but you have to pick me up”. I stretched out my hand.
“Deal”. He shook my hand and it was really soft.
“So Bryan, are we friends?”. I asked.
He stared at me weirdly. “Yeah why?”.
“Whats up with you and Kyle? I mean the way you looked when he came to the park yesterday”. I told him.
“Elsa, i really don’t want to talk about it”.
“Oh”. I said slowly.
“What he did__”.
The door opened immediately and Kyle walked in with his friends.
“Sorry. Am I interrupting something?”. He mocked.
Bryan frowned. “What do you want?”.
“I came for Elsa”. He replied.
Bryan held my hand protectively. “She’s not going anywhere”.
“Come on, Bryan, i need to talk to my sweetheart”.
“I’m not your sweetheart”. I retorted.
He rolled his eyes. “Bryan. I came here for us to talk”.
“Kyle leave now”. Bryan said angrily.
“Okay then I’ll say what I have to say in front of Elsa and you don’t want that”. Kyle said staring at me.
What the fuck does he want to talk about with Bryan?
“Bryan?”.
He looked at me. “Elsa, you need to go”.
I removed my hand from his and walked to the door going out.
The door immediately closed behind me.
I was really worried, what does Kyle want to talk about with Bryan?
The bell rang immediately signaling Lunch break.
I sighed and walked to the cafeteria glancing around, for some reason i didn’t see Beverly and those her cheerleader friends, Sapphire, Kimberly and Co.
I sighted Gabriella at the other side of the cafeteria and she was alone. I went over to her and sat down.
“Hey”.
She looked up. “Elsa”.
I smiled. “Hey Gabby”.
“I’m really sorry for what Sapphire did”.
“She’s a whole lot of nutcase”. I replied.
“But why did Kyle kiss you?”.
I shrugged. “I really don’t know, he just did it all of a sudden”.
“I know Kyle, he must have done it for a reason”.
I looked around but I couldn’t see Kyle, Was he still talking to Bryan?
“Elsa?”. Gabby piped into my thoughts.
“Yeah?”.
“Whats wrong?”. She asked curious.
“I’m kinda really worried now, I was with Bryan before Kyle came over saying he wants to talk”.
I told her. “I don’t really know what happened but Bryan was kinda moody”.
She paused. “Bryan?”.
“Yeah Bryan”.
“Bryan Stark?”. She asked tearfully.
I nodded. “Why?”.
She looked at me. “Did Kyle see both of you together? I mean are you guys__”.
I cut her off. “Gabby, what are you talking about?”.
“Gosh!! Elsa, Kyle is never gonna leave you alone once he has seen you with Bryan”.
Episode 13 : Art Class Assignment
🍭Bryan🍭
I turned. “You are bluffing, Elsa would never let that happen”.
“Since you still underestimate me, i bet you that in two weeks, i will have Elsa Reyes in my bed screaming my name”.
I clenched my fists. “You wouldn’t dare”.
“Okay then lets make it a bet. First person to get her”.
“I’m not betting on Elsa and you know that”.
He shrugged. “Seems like its you and me, Mason”.
Mason licked his lips. “I do like her”.
I held my anger and went out the door really angry. I walked into another empty class and sat on a seat taking a deep breath.
The door opened immediately and Carl stepped in shutting the door behind me.
“What the hell was that for?”. Carl shouted.
“Why are you angry at me? Kyle is the asshole here”.
He scoffed. “You are the one who’s being a chicken by not standing up to him”.
I rested back on the seat. “You don’t understand”.
“Help me understand why you would let him do this to you without saying anything”. He said angrily.
I took a deep breath. “Just forget it”.
“Is that what he has been doing? Taking all of them?”. He asked softly.
I nodded sadly. “Yeah thats what he’s good at, depriving me of emotional happiness”.
He sighed. “Bryan, you cant let him go near Elsa”.
“Why do you care?”. I asked.
“I care because I don’t want you sulking around like how you did when Gabriella left you”.
“Sulking around? I’m perfectly fine”.
He rolled his eyes. “I know you like Elsa and if Kyle does something to her, your conscience would hurt you just like what happened to Gabriella”.
“Please don’t remind me of that. I told Gabriella the truth between me and Kyle and she chose to leave me for him”.
“Do you like her?”.
“Why are you asking me that? The feelings I had for Gabriella died when she left me.
I begged her to take me back, literally but she left me like some waste”.
I said sadly. “She thinks i’m a terrible person but look what Kyle did to her”.
“Well the same thing is going to happen to Elsa if you don’t find a way to stop him”.
“Elsa is not mine”.
“But you love her and I’m sure she can fall in love with someone like you”.
I shook her head negatively. “Elsa has a huge crush on him”.
“Well just make sure that he doesn’t approach her because we all know bad things are gonna happen”.
“I’ll try”. I said.
“Well get up and go find Elsa, stay next to her and try to divert her attention from Kyle”. Carl said.
I stood up. “Wait!! Wont you go off with Kyle?”.
“I need to calm myself down, all of you are a bunch of trouble”. He replied.
I nodded and left heading to cafeteria hoping to see Elsa. I paused when I saw her, the one who caused me pains the most.

“Beverly nude pictures”.
Evelyn gasped. “You guys have this?”.
I laughed. “Yep and of course Beverly is going to tell us every single little thing because she wont like the idea of having her nude pictures on the school blog”.
“Fuck!! Kim, when did you get this?”. Evelyn asked surprised.
Kim smirked. “You’ll get the whole scoop when Beverly comes”.
Peggy immediately came inside the hangout with Dawn followed by Beverly.
“Hey Kimberly. What do you need?”. Beverly asked.
Kim crossed her legs. “This is about Elsa so its Sapphire you need to talk to”.
“So Beverly, you know what Elsa did right?”. I asked her angrily.
“I am so sorry about that and I clearly told her not to go near him again”. She pleaded.
I rolled her eyes. “You both are best friends?”.
She nodded. “We’ve been friends since when we were little”.
“So you know everything about her?”. Evelyn asked curious.
“Well Elsa tells me most things but why are you asking?”. Beverly stared at us.
“Kim”. I said.
Kim cleared her throat. “Beverly, what Elsa was so wrong so we decided maybe to, you know, maybe giving her a little warning”.
“But we cant do that without your help”. Evelyn added.
“I don’t understand you guys”.
I sighed. “I hate your best friend and you are going to help me figure out a way to embarrass her to the fullest”.
“No way, I’m not doing that. Elsa is my best friend, more like a sister to me”.
“Are you in or out”. I said bored.
“I cant do it”. She replied.
“Fine then you are out of the cheerleader team”. I told her.
“What?”. She looked at Kim.
Kim sighed. “Sorry Beverly, if Sapphire says you are out then you are out unless you can help us with this Elsa issue”.
I was expecting her to comply by what we wanted but it was the opposite.
“Fine, I’ll send you the cheerleader outfit if you want”. She said.
I scoffed. “Seriously?”.
“I’m not betraying my best friend just for some silly position in the cheer team”. She retorted.
I snapped my fingers. “Evelyn, show her”.
She furrowed her eyebrows. “Show me what?”.
Evelyn clicked on the photo and showed Beverly.
“How did you get this?”. Tears were beginning to drop from her eyes.
“At Kyle’s party last summer, you were so drunk”. Kim replied and we laughed.
“But you were the one who said it was okay, you gave me those drinks”. Beverly said tearfully.
I made a fake sad face. “Does little Beverly wanna cry?”.
Evelyn snickered. “Come on, just pick a side”.
“I .. I can .. can not help you”. She stuttered.
Kim sighed. “Beverly, you have 10 seconds to decide or else this pictures will be flying around this school before you know it”.
Beverly bursted in tears. “Kimberly, please you cant do this to me”.
“Watch me”. Kim began counting. “One!!”.
“Beverly all we need you to do is to help us get back on Elsa”. Evelyn said.
“Two!!”. Kim counted.
“Elsa wont even know that it was you who spilled the truth, just help us with finding suggestions and thats all”. Evelyn continued.
“I’m begging you guys”. Beverly cried.
I rolled my eyes watching her, she seemed vulnerable and I really don’t care.
“Three!!”. Kim counted.
I flared up. “Just fucking tell us something about Elsa, there must be something she’s afraid of”.
“Four!!”.
“I swear if you don’t talk, your pictures will be the talk of this school”. I threatened her.
“I don’t know what makes Elsa afraid”. She said. “I’m seriously telling the truth”.
I scoffed. “Seriously? Still proving stubborn?”.
“Five!!”.
I took the phone. “I care less about the counting, if you don’t talk now, i’ll upload this picture on the school blog”.
“Six!!”.
The door immediately opened and the phone fell on my hand when I saw him.
Episode 14 : Lunch Date

Gabriella shot her head up. “Sorry about that.
I just lost myself there for a moment”.
“Gabby?”. I called.
She cleaned her tears. “Yeah?”.
“If you really loved Bryan then why did you leave him for Kyle?”. I asked curious.
Bryan is really nice, i don’t see how any girl will leave him. Although I had a crush on Kyle, i prefer Bryan at least he helped me out when Sapphire bullied me.
“Kyle said things about Bryan, things that made me view him different”.
I raised my eyebrows. “Things like what?”.
“I cant really say because they are horrible things”. She replied.
“Horrible? Are you sure Kyle did not make that up?”.
“I’m really sure because Bryan actually admitted to it and thats why I left him and followed Kyle”.
Bryan? Horrible things? Not possible.
“But my problems began when I was with Kyle”. She continued.
“Sapphire wouldn’t stop confronting me and the worst happened when Kyle released a s€x video of me”.
I paused. “A s€x video?”.
“I feel so ashamed telling you this”.
“No its okay but Kyle did that to you?”.
She nodded. “Yeah and he actually__”.
“Elsa”. He called smiling.
Gosh!! I almost melted under his smile. Its really breathtaking.
I smiled. “Bryan”.
He sat down next to me and I saw Gabriella looked uncomfortable.
“Should I order something for you to eat?”.
I knew he was ignoring Gabby on purpose.
“Bryan, meet my new friend that I told you about”. I said.
“Do you like macaroni and cheese?”.
“Bryan”.
“What?”. He asked.
“My new friend”. I gestured towards Gabby.
He sighed. “Nice to meet you, Gabriella”.
“Ryan”. I could see tears in her eyes.
“My name is Bryan so try calling me that”. He said coldly.
I felt sad for Gabriella but it was her fault anyway.
Why did she leave Bryan if she really loved him?
“Umm, Bryan we need to talk”. I told him.
“If its about her then yes, she was my ex girlfriend”.
“Yeah she told me already”. I said lowly.
“Bryan”. She touched his arm.
Why the fuck is she touching him? Gosh!! Elsa, calm down. He is not your boyfriend.
Bryan removed his arm. “Don’t you ever touch me again”.
He faced me. “See you later Elsa”. He stood up and left.
Gabriella stared at him, tears rolling down her face.
She grabbed her backpack and ran after him.
What is she doing?
I wore my backpack and went after her. I stopped by a locker and watched them.
Bryan seemed adamant but Gabby was crying real tears hugging him tightly.
I could see him hesitating before he hugged her back.
She rested her head on his chest still crying and he patted her.
I looked away and walked off not wanting to see more.
I stopped and rested on a locker recalling it, maybe Bryan still likes her. I guess they both love each other.
I blinked my tears away. No one will ever love me. Not Kyle, not Bryan.
“Hey Sweetheart”.
I stood straight surprised to see Kyle.
He crossed his arms. “Are you okay?”.
I hastily wiped my tears. “Yeah I’m fine”.
He moved closer to me.
“Please don’t kiss me”.
He paused. “Excuse me?”.
“I said don’t kiss me, i really don’t want troubles.
Because of you, Sapphire had my hair shoved in a toilet”.
“Oh sorry about that”. He apologized. “I’ll talk to her”.
I nodded.
“Were you crying?”. He asked all of a sudden.
“No what do you want?”. I asked.
“Actually I came to apologize for what Sapphire did so to make up for it. Let me treat you something nice”. He offered.
I was taken aback. “What?”.
“A date. Would you like to go on a date with me?”. He asked staring at me keenly.
Episode 15 : A Painful Discovery
🍭Carl🐸
I walked through the school hallways then took a different direction. I saw Justin and turned around immediately.
He ran up to me. “Come on, I’m not the bad guy here”.
“But cant you at least talk him out of this?”. I asked as we walked.
“I tried but he seemed adamant on this issue”.
I sighed. “I wont take it easy with him if he tries to touch Elsa”.
“Please don’t tell me you like her”.
“I don’t but Bryan does and thats why I’m concerned”.
“What if he does something much worse?”. Justin asked.
I took a deep breath. “I’m not gonna let that happen this time around. He has made Bryan emotional mess on the inside”.
“I wonder Bryan did that made Kyle hate him that much”. Justin said.
“I thought of it too but I couldn’t see any reason why, i mean they were best of friends before”. I said thoughtfully.
He shrugged. “Maybe there’s something we don’t know”.
We stopped when I heard someone pleading in tears.
We walked faster toward the sound and stopped in front of a closed door.
Isn’t this Sapphire’s hangout. Fuck!! She must be at it again.
I pushed opened the door and she froze seeing me and Carl as Evelyn stood up as well.
My eyes immediately sighted Beverly in tears. My heart broke to see her in that state.
I frowned at Sapphire. “I can see you’ve been bullying again”.
“I just, umm”. She quickly hid a phone behind her.
“Hey Carl”. Evelyn came toward me trying to touch my arm but I stepped backwards.
“Kimberly, whats going on here?”. Justin asked.
Kim fiddled with her fingers. “Baby, I just wanted to have a talk with Beverly, thats all”.
I walked over and crouched in front of Beverly. “Hey. What happened?”.
She sniffed in tears and looked at Sapphire.
I stood up. “What did you do to her?”.
“I didn’t do anything, you can ask Kim and Evelyn, we were just all talking”.
I scoffed. “Talking? She’s in tears and you call that talking? More than bullying or anything of that sort”.
Justin looked at Kim. “Kimberly, what happened here?”.
Kim didn’t say anything as she stared at the floor.
“Hand that phone to me”. Justin said.
Sapphire gasped. “No its not yours”.
“You don’t wanna get on my bad side. Trust me”.
She handed the phone to Justin.
He looked at it for a while before giving it to me, i saw the pictures and was shocked.
“Kim, when you are ready then we need to talk”. Justin walked out.
“Baby”. Kim called running after him.
“Everyone out, i need to talk to Sapphire”.
Her minions stood up and left including Evelyn.
Beverly was about to leave when I held her back.
“Stay”. I whispered.
I turned to Sapphire. “What were you doing with this phone?”.
“Its Kimberly’s and we showed Beverly the pictures so we could help her delete them”.
I scoffed. “You are lying to me and you know I can take away that stupid pride you have now”.
“Carl”. She pleaded.
“I really never cared about who you bullied but you crossed the line this time. First Elsa then Beverly”. I said angrily.
“If only she had told me what I wanted from her then I wouldn’t have threatened her with the pictures”. She told me off.
“I don’t want to see you near Beverly or Elsa from now on. If I see you trying to overpower them then I assure you that I’ll give you a taste of your own medicine”.
Sapphire glared at Beverly before leaving.
I faced Beverly. “Are you okay now?”.
She wiped her tears. “Please I’m begging you, take off that picture”.
“Don’t worry, i’ll make sure this doesn’t get into their hands”.
She rested on the wall, tears rolling down her face and it hurt me to see her that way.
I hugged her, she stiffened for a little while before hugging me back.
I caressed her hair. “Its okay. They are gone now, they wont bother you ever again”.

“Actually I came to apologize for what Sapphire did so to make up for it. Let me treat you something nice”. He offered.
I was taken aback. “What?”.
“A date. Would you like to go on a date with me?”. He asked staring at me keenly.
“No”. I replied.
“I think we should__”. He stopped. “Wait, did you just say no?”.
“I said no”. I repeated myself. “I’m not going on a date with someone like you”.
A day ago, i would have loved to say yes but following the warnings, i’m kinda scared of him even though a little part of me wants to say yes to his offer.
But after what he did to me, kissing me and letting Sapphire humiliate me like that, its definitely a no from me.
“Look, Elsa sorry for what Sapphire did to you but I just asked you on a date and you refused?”. He asked surprised.
I crossed my arms. “Kyle, I said no and its final or is it hard to take in?”.
He pushed me to the locker. “Do you know how many girls in this school would love for me to talk to them let alone ask them out on dates?”.
“Proud, much”. I told him. “You are so full of yourself”.
He frowned. “What the hell did you just say?”.
I ignored him and made to leave but he held me back tightly.
I tried to free my arm. “Let me go”.
“Not so fast, sweetheart. Not even a kiss”.
I tried to remove my hand from his grip but he held me tighter staring at my lips.
He made to kiss me but he was pushed back immediately.
“Don’t you try to touch her”.
Bryan held me back protectively as he glared at Kyle.
“Fuck!! We were just talking”. Kyle said angrily.
I can’t believe Kyle tried to kiss me again!!.
“If I see you near her then you will see the worst side of me”. Bryan told him off.
Kyle faced me. “This conversation isn’t over, sweetheart”. He said and left.
Bryan turned to me. “Are you okay?”.
“I’m fine”. I simply said.
He held my hands. “Did he touch you?”.
I yanked my hands away. “Why do you care?”.
“I care because we are friends, okay”.
That word hit me right in the heart. Friends, thats what he said and thats what we will ever be. Just friends.
“Yeah friends”. I mumbled.
“What did he say to you?”. He asked curious.
“Nothing”. I replied lowly.
“Come on, Elsa, i know he must have said something”.
“He asked me out on a date and I said yes”. I lied.
“What the fuck!! Do you know what you just did?”.
“Well he asking me out is my decision”.
“Elsa, i know Kyle and I want you to stay away from him because I don’t want you getting hurt”.
I flared up. “Why are you like this being all overprotective?”.
“Its for your good”. He replied calmly.
“Well go tell that to your girlfriend”. I retorted.
“Girlfriend? Elsa, what are you getting at?”.
I ignored him and ran away. I eventually stopped at some point and noticed the school garden. I went in going to sit on one of the benches and I bursted into tears.
Gosh!! I’m so confused, i don’t know whats happening anymore. I came back for Kyle but it seems that everything is all messed up since Kyle has changed but then Bryan comes along. I rested back on the bench thinking of everything.
What is happening to me? I like Kyle but i love been around Bryan’s company and seeing him with Gabriella makes me feel kinda hurt although I know i shouldn’t.
I wiped my tears and stood up clinging to my backpack proceeding to leave when I heard sniffing and sobs. I stopped and hid by some benches crouching.
I noticed it was Carl and .. Beverly? She was crying and Carl was comforting her but why? She rested on him as he patted her, i noticed Carl holding a broken phone but why?
Okay, now I’m really confused. Beverly doesn’t just cry for anything like that but why is she in tears right now? And Carl? He rested on the back bench frowning as he closed his eyes obviously thinking of something while he gripped the broken phone tightly as Beverly rested on him.
I used that time to escape to the main exit and ran into the school hallways. The bell rang immediately and I groaned in despair.
I walked to my first class, History and got in, i scanned the class hoping I would find someone to sit with. I noticed Gabriella in the class but I hesitated first.
I mean seeing her and Bryan together kinda gets me off a little bit. She really is beautiful for Bryan to fall in love with her and now that they talked, I’m sure they will get back together.
Maybe I should go sit with her but what if I get jealous or something or kinda sad that she’s with Bryan. Shake it off, Elsa, you can do this after all Bryan doesn’t like you.
I sat next to her. “Hey”.
She smiled. “Where were you?”.
“I just had to do something”. I lied.
“Oh. Bryan walked me to class anyways”.
I frowned inwardly as she said that. Why is she even telling me?
“Good for you”. I gave her a tight smile.
The teacher came in soon afterwards and began her teaching.
“You know, i really miss Bryan”. Gabriella spoke up.
I ignored her pretending not to hear her as I took notes.
“And when he hugged me, it felt really breathtaking”.
She continued. “But I’m sure you wouldn’t know that”.
I faced her. “What do you mean by that?”.
“I mean, He has never hugged you right?”.
“And how would you know that?”. I asked getting annoyed already.
“Sorry for eavesdropping but I kinda heard when he called you a friend and I know you are not that important for Bryan to hug”.
I held my anger. “You know what, Gabriella, i don’t care at all if I’m just friends with Bryan so can you please just let me be”.
She sighed. “Okay but I’m just saying it so you should keep boundaries”.
I scoffed. “Boundaries? Really?”.
“I just don’t want anyone stealing Bryan away from me now that I’ve got him back but I doubt thats gonna happen since he cant notice someone like you, don’t take it the wrong way”. She mocked me.
“Let me refresh your memory a little bit, you dumped for Kyle and you are still his ex incase you’ve forgotten”.
“I know but I remember Bryan telling me that among all the girls he has ever met that he loves me the most”.
I stood up abruptly. “Miss, may I use the restroom?”.
She gave me permission and I took my backpack walking out of class. I stopped in the school hallways thinking of Gabriella.
How date she say that. Boundaries? Gosh!.
Why did she become so annoying? Is it because of Bryan? Does she see me as a threat or something? But why? I don’t seem to understand her and I even thought we were friends.
“A penny for your thoughts”. Carl came by walking besides me.
“Hey Carl”. I said tiredly.
“Whats up?”. He asked.
“Nothing its just that some people are just so annoying lately”. I answered.
“Wanna talk about it?”.
I nodded and we went to a private place. His hangout.
“Why did she change all of a sudden?”. I asked after narrating the whole issue.
“Probably she got all jealous”. He replied.
I scoffed. “I know that but why?”.
He shrugged. “Gabriella is kinda tricky sometimes, she did leave Bryan for Kyle in the first place”.
I crossed my arms. “Why are you talking to me anyways? Aren’t you one of Kyle’s crew?”.
“I’m helping you because you don’t know what you’ve gotten yourself into”.
“Okay, I’m confused, why is everyone just saying things like I’m in a bad situation”.
He raised an eyebrow. “Everyone?”.
“I mean, Beverly, Gabriella and of course Bryan”.
“We are just trying to look out for you”.
“Look out for me? Bryan said that but I just don’t understand why?”.
“Elsa, its a complicated issue but__”.
“It involves me right?”. I completed his sentence for him.
“Apparently it involves you”. He said sadly.
“But why? Where do I come in all this?”.
“Elsa what I need you to do is to make sure you avoid Kyle and maybe Mason. Thats all I can say for now”.
I flared up. “All you can say? How’s that gonna help, huh? Telling me to stay away from Kyle countless times but never giving me enough reasons why”.
“Elsa, its__”.
I cut him off. “I’m not gonna listen at all to anything you have to say until you explain the whole thing to me and why Kyle is bent on getting closer to me all of a sudden? If thats not enough, that stupid Mason tries to kiss me and then runs along Sapphire who hates my gut just because her proud boyfriend kissed me all of a sudden”. I ranted on spilling my heart out.
“Mason tried to kiss you?”. He asked shocked.
“Thats not the point, i am just confused on how all this lead to me”.
“Its because of Bryan”.
“Bryan?”. I asked curious. “What do you mean its all because of him”.
“The only reason why you are going to be caught up in all this trouble its because Bryan is in love with you”.
I scoffed. “Bryan? In love with me? You have got to be joking because there is no way Bryan can like me. He said we are just friends”.
Carl sighed frustratingly. “I’m telling the truth and that truth is that Bryan loves you”.
