Chapter 61 & 62 : George’s Advice for Miguel
He got out of his thought abruptly when Lisa held his hand, her eyes pleading for help.
“Get me out of here, why am I here. Where’s my mom, what’s going on.” Lisa rushed the question shaking Miguel’s hands.
Miguel blinked his eyes repeatedly and he held her shoulders, trying to calm her down.
” Don’t worry, I will make sure you meet your mom. Just..can you stay for today, you’ll leave tomorrow. Hmm.” Miguel said staring at her directly in the eye.
“No no, not at all. I wanna leave today, now infact. Why am I here huh, answer me.” Lisa shouted and Miguel sigh, feeling so bad as he cussed his father inwardly.
“Okay, I’ll go back with you. I would like to ensure your safety.” Miguel said and Lisa nodded slowly.
Miguel turned and walked angrily to his dad, facing him with an angry expression. He walked pass them and went back to the living room, he expected them to follow him.
They indeed followed him back to the sitting room and Miguel faced them, feeling a lot of anger.
“What on earth did you do to her huh, why can’t she remember me. Why!!” Miguel yelled.
“Miguel, when Dad asked his men to take her. They hit her with a stick at the back of her head, that might have lead to memory loss. There will be somethings that she won’t remember, some.. certain people.” Federick explained and Miguel sat down, roughing his hair angrily.
The kind of feeling he is experiencing right now, is out of words. Why won’t she remember him, why does he have to be part of the people she forget. Why?
He still has a lot of things to do for her, a lot things to do with her. Fvck, why now.
“Miguel..” Federick called, placing his hand on his shoulder.
“Am going with her, right now. Am leaving with her, where….”
“You can’t leave Miguel, I won’t allow you to.” Mr Knight cuts in.
“You can’t tell me what to do, you made Mona lose her memories. Don’t you dare tell me what to do again!!” Miguel half yelled.
“I’ll use this opportunity for myself, she has lost her memories. She doesn’t remember you, why don’t you try going with her back to new york and watch me shoot her dead. I..will..kill her.” Mr Knight said looking so serious.
“Dad!!” Miguel yelled moving a step towards Mr Knight but Federick stayed in between.
“Stop Miguel, he is our Dad. He want the best for us, he..”
“Shut up, I don’t care if he cares about me. I won’t heed to his words, never. I don’t need him, A dad doesn’t threaten his own son just for his benefit, I hate your so called father. I loathe him!!” Miguel shouted and their eyes widened.
“Miguel, stop already. You can’t just say that.” Mrs Knight said.
” Since when I was little, he had treated me like an outcast. He made me misbehave at college here in Paris and yet he sent me out of this fvcking house. Who’s Miguel Knight, no one knows am his son. Why huh, the only son Daniel Knight has is Federick to the world. Tell me why I shouldn’t hate him, he made me useless and an outcast, he hadn’t considered me as his own son. I hate you Daniel Knight.” Miguel shouted and Mr Knight slapped him, with the back of his hand.
“Miguel..” Mrs Knight said lowly, tears trickling down her face.
“Dad.. Miguel, please stop.” Federick said, feeling irritated by the whole thing.
“Listen to me young man, I gave birth to you. I clothed you and gave you all you need. Follow that girl and face my wrath. Take her to airport but follow her on the plane to see what I can do.” Mr Knight said.
“I want the best for you, that’s why am doing all this. I’ll show you to the world as my son if you and your brother handle my business. Continue my legacy Miguel and forget about that girl. The family business should be your priority.” Mr Knight said and left their midst.
Mrs Knight sigh and moved closer to Miguel.
“Miguel.” She said but Miguel jerked her hand off and walk upstairs, heading to Lisa’s room.
That what he needs right now, to see his Mona.
He opened the door slightly and entered, he saw Lisa laying of the bed. Her eyes opened, as she stared at nothing in particular.
“Mona..” he called and Lisa sat upright, shifting to the back
“Don’t worry, I won’t harm you okay?” He said, he finally walk to the bed and sat down slowly.
“What happened.. down there?” She asked and Miguel smiled. At least she’s talking to him.
“It’s nothing, don’t stress yourself.” He replied.
” Why.. why do you.. keep calling me Mona, my friend and Mom call me Lisa.” Lisa said looking innocent and Miguel smiled.
“Because we have a special bond, I call you Mona because no one else is allowed to. We..umm.” Miguel hesitated telling her about their relationship.
” Special bond? What bond?”.
“Nevermind, don’t stress your brain.” Miguel said and Lisa stood up from the bed.
“Where.. where are you going?” Miguel asked standing up too.
“Let’s go meet Mom.” Lisa said and Miguel breathe out.
She is still insisting on leaving?
“Yeah, let’s go.” He walked to her, holding her hand and Lisa stopped, looking at their entangled hand.
Miguel understood what she meant and he release her hand.
They walk out of the room and head to the door. Federick stopped them.
“Here, use my car.” He said handing him the key.
“No.”
“Stop doing like this, just use it.. it’s just for today.” Federick said taking Miguel’s hand and placing the key on his palm.
“Who.. who’s he?” Lisa asked and Federick look at her, waving a little.
“Am his elder brother.” He replied and Lisa just nod.
*Why do I feel strange, why is this guy’s face look familiar. I don’t understand what’s going on.” Lisa said inwardly looking at Miguel.
“Thanks.” Miguel said and leave with Lisa to the airport.
New York City ~ A restaurant •
Ramona sat down with Reece, he forcefully invited her out for lunch.
Gosh, when with these ever end.
“Why am I here?” Ramona spoke out after much silence.
“I took out you for lunch…nah, a date.” Reece said with a silly smile and Ramona secretly rolled her eyes.
“Date? Am leaving.” Ramona said, wanting to stand up but Reece held her.
“Hope you haven’t forgotten or you want me to spill it out to your parents, college and friends?” Reece said and Ramona held her fist angrily.
“What do you want from me?” Ramona asked with a sad face.
“Be my girlfriend, infact marry me.” Reece said and Ramona’s eyes widened.
“What! What on earth are you saying?” Ramona said trying not to shout.
“I don’t really like repeating myself, if you want your secret safe with me then you will have to be with me, be my girlfriend then my dear pretty wife.” Reece said with a sly smile.
“No Reece, I can’t do that. You can ask me any other thing but not this please.” Ramona said pleadingly and Reece scoff.
He wanted to talk but someone dropped a glass filled with alcohol on their table, turns out to be Alvin.. looking drunk.
“Hey guys.” He said and Reece frowned.
“What on earth are you doing here?” Ramona said.
” What…are you doing with him also.” Alvin said drunkenly.
” You’re drunk .” Ramona muttered looking away.
” Leave Alvin, we are discussing. You don’t have the right to come in between.” Reece said standing up.
” Everyone, look at my girlfriend. Pretty isn’t it?” Alvin said loudly causing the people there to look at them.
” Stop Alvin.” Ramona muttered.
Everyone smiled at them, looking at the duo.
” If you want me to stop, please take me back home..am quite drunk, I can’t drive in this state.” Alvin said pouting, Ramona looked away, her cheeks almost red.
” No never, she’s not going with you.” Reece said.

The customers in the restaurant said making Alvin to smile.
“Reece please, I need to just take him home. Please.” Ramona said looking at Reece with pleading eyes.
” I’ll come you.” Reece said and Alvin frowned.
” What kind of a guy, come along with a man and his girlfriend. Respect some privacy.” Alvin said loudly again and Ramona closed her eyes frustratingly.
“Reece I promise, I’ll just take him home. That’s all.” Ramona said and after a little while, Reece nodded.
“Common let’s go.” Ramona said eyeing Alvin.
They started walking out and Alvin stylishly look at the back and caught Reece looking at them also, Alvin smirk at him and hung his arm over to Ramona’s shoulder well..very well.
Reece held his fist, staring at their back while trying to contain his anger.
They left the restaurant and head for Alvin’s car, Ramona helped him get and Alvin kept smiling throughout, loving her hands on his body.
“Don’t see this as anything.” Ramona said and started the car.
“You..and Reece, are you two…”
“Yes, we are.” Ramona cuts in his words.
“You two are hiding something, he looks a lot more older to be your boyfriend.” Alvin said and Ramona looked at him.
“Are you sure you’re drunk?” She asked suspiciously and Alvin smirk.
“Well, you caught me. I just wanted to be with you.” Alvin said and Ramona shaked her head.
Alvin kept engaging her with some kinds of discussion as Ramona cuss him inwardly.
Kaylee’s Home •
Kaylee was in her room when she heard a knock on the door.
“Come in.” She said. Her mum entered and she looked at her.
“Umm, a weird guy is there asking for you.” Her mum said and Kaylee furrowed her brows.
“Did he mentioned his name?” She asked.
“I think he said..is it Kelvin.” Immediately Kaylee heard that, she ran to the living room.
True to her mom’s words, Kelvin was sitted on one of the sofas there, busy talking with her Dad.
Her eyes widened as she immediately rushed there.
” Oh, Kaylee. You’re here.” Her Dad, Kelvin and Kaylee’s eyes met and Kaylee gave him the ‘what are you doing here’ look.
“He said he’s your friend from college and I think I like him, he is pretty cool.” Her Dad said and she turned her head to her dad.
What the hell, so fast?
“I’ll leave you two to talk.” Her Dad said standing up, he patted Kaylee on her back and Kaylee smiled in return.
“What on earth are you doing here.” She said immediately her Dad left.
“To see you.” Kelvin immediately, sitting comfortably.
” Are you nuts? What if my parents aren’t some kind of nice ones.” Kaylee said.
“Am sure they will like me at first sight, I always give a good impression.” Kelvin replied and Kaylee rolled her eyes.
“Do..umm, wanna have something?” She asked.
“Yeah, let’s go to the kitchen.” Kelvin replied standing up and Kaylee raised a brow.
“What do you mean let’s go?” She asked.
“Common.” He ignored her question and dragged her up.
They entered the kitchen together and started making pancakes, they also baked cookies.. actually Kaylee did it but Kelvin helped.
Kelvin use flour on her face and Kaylee revenged. By the time they were done cooking, their faces and the kitchen were filled with flour.
They laughed their own mess they created as they cleared it up together.
“Fun right?” Kelvin asked as they arrange the dish on the dinning table.
“Yes it is.” Kaylee said smiling, they stared at each other for a while not until they heard a cough…fake cough actually.
” Wow, you guys made this?” Kaylee’s mom said and Kaylee nodded.
“Let’s sit.”
They sat down and they begin to eat. As time flies by, Kaylee noticed her parents and Kelvin got comfy with each other as laughter filled the air.
She smiled staring at them.
Paris~ Airport •
Lisa was ready to board the plane, just waiting for the announcement.
She looked back at Miguel once again, feeling some mixed emotions.
” Are you sure I don’t know you.” She asked again.
Miguel decided to tell her the truth, maybe she might remember something.
“We are actually.. you’re my girlfriend.” Miguel said and Lisa furrowed her brow.
Like what?
“What do you mean?” She asked.
Miguel sighted the necklace he bought for her during the trip.
” This.. the necklace you are wearing, I.. bought it for you at the market, during our trip..the adventure, I …” Miguel started explaining it all to her starting from their first meeting at the new york airport lastly to the white on party they had at the resort.
” Stop, I don’t remember anything please. Just let me go.” Lisa said, an headache suddenly developed in her head.
Miguel seeing this decided not to stress her brain again.
” Fine.” He muttered, just then the announcement was heard as she turned to go.
” Thanks for letting me stay at your house, I will repay you one day.” She said and started going.
Miguel watched her leave, as tears threatened to fall down his eyes.
Will he ever see his Mona again? He wanted to call her back and stop her from leaving him but he can’t do that.
He was still walking off when he suddenly heard his name, that voice.. Mona’s voice.
He turned and saw Lisa returning to him, he was confused, shocked and happy.
Lisa got to him and pulled him in a tight hug.
Huh? What the fvck just happened.
Chapter 63 & 64 : Miguel’s Fight for Love
” My God, Mona, what’s going on?” Miguel asked hugging her more.
He started hearing sniffs and he broke the hug only to see Lisa crying.
” Umm, are you fine?” Miguel asked and Lisa looked at him.
” You punk, where the hell are you sending me to. Are you trying to chase me away from your life? Never, ours is forever.. My Knight.” Lisa said and Miguel didn’t know what to do, to smile, to ask questions or to hug her.
“Lisa, is your…”
“See, you’re calling me Lisa. You don’t love me anymore, that’s why you are chasing me away.” Lisa said again and that’s when it hit Miguel that ..her memories are back.
“You.. you remember me?” He stuttered.
“Of course I do, why won’t I?” Lisa replied and Miguel immediately pull her in a hug, smiling heavily to himself.
“Mona, you have no idea how much I missed you. You lost your memories and you were about to go away from me. Thank God you are back.” Miguel said.
” Yes, I will never leave you.” Lisa said too, and they hug for a while before they broke the hug and Miguel immediately cupped her cheek and kiss her. Rekindling every moment they were apart.
“But where are we, the only thing I remembered last was ..I went to back to my room in the resort and.. I don’t remember anything again, but wait how come we are in an airport.” Lisa asked and Miguel explained it all.
“Oh my God.”
“How did you regain back your memories, just now?” Miguel asked.
Flashback to some minutes ago•
Lisa was still leaving, almost at the plane, when suddenly the headache hit her again and she felt her head spinning.
She started remembering the encounter with Miguel at the airport..this same necklace, it’s from Miguel. She remembers his face and their moments together clearly.
“Miguel? Miguel!!” She dropped her bag and started running back.
Flashback Ends•
” Am so happy right now.” Miguel said and Lisa smiled. But soon enough, it’s changed to a frown.
” But your Dad..” Lisa said and Miguel stopped smiling too.
” No, now that you have regain back your memories.. I won’t let you go, we will fight Dad together.” Miguel said.
” But Miguel, he is your Dad and..am sure he want the best for you.” Lisa said lowly.
” I don’t care about that Mona, you’re the best thing that had ever happened to me.” Miguel replied.
” Listen Miguel, I love you a lot as much as you do. But I don’t want to be the cause for the rift between a father and his son. Do..do as he wish.” Lisa said and Miguel look at her.
” No Mona, you’re not going anywhere.” He refused.
” Please Miguel, do as I say. Please my Knight..in shining armor.” Lisa said and Miguel tried hard not to smile.
” But you’re not going back to New York yet, I’ll get you a house here and you’ll stay there. I’ll come to you everytime.” Miguel said.
” But what if …”
” No more buts and ifs Mona, you will do as I has said.” Miguel said and Lisa nodded cutely.
” Let’s go.” Miguel said holding her hand.
” Umm, I left my bag while trying to reach you. I’ll go get it.” Lisa said.
” I’ll go with you.” Miguel replied and Lisa smiled.
Crestwood college ~ Library •
” Oh my God Lisa, you’ve finally called. How are you, no where are you and…and did Miguel find you, just tell you’re fine or should I come to you.” Tiana rushed the question over the phone.
” Calm down Tiana, am absolutely fine okay.” Lisa said.
” Miguel is with me also and everything is fine now.” Lisa explained it all.
” Oh shit Lisa, you lost your memory. But thank God you’re fine now, Miguel wouldn’t be able to handle it but wait, his Dad is so evil.” Tiana said irritatedly.
” You shouldn’t say Tiana, he only cares for his son.” Lisa replied.
” Oh Lisa spare me, you are only saying that because you have a clean heart. The man doesn’t love his own son at all, his behavior is far out of hand.” Tiana said rolling her eyes as if Lisa can see her.
” Okay Tiana, I’ll call you later but I can’t say when am coming back. I’ll really miss you a lot.” Lisa said and Tiana smiled.
” Miss you too..bye.” they ended the call and Tiana sigh out.
Jayden sat in front of her and her face brighten up.
” Hey Jayden.” She said.
” Hmmm.”
” What?” Tiana asked.
” Seems you’re in a good mood today, I love that.” Jayden said and Tiana smiled.
” Would you like to go on a date with me?” He suddenly ask out of the blue and Tiana’s eyes widened.
She was about to talk when they heard a gasp beside them and they turned to see Barbie glaring at them.
” What! Jayden, how can you ask her out?” Barbie said dramatically.
Tiana rolled her eyes, expecting a drama already.
” How’s that your business, if I may ask.” Jayden said and Barbie faked a frown.
” You..you can’t ask her out, she doesn’t even love you.” Barbie said and Jayden smirk.
” Really, if she doesn’t talk or act up after doing this then she loves me.” Jayden said and before anyone could grab what’s going on, Jayden stood up slightly and raise Tiana’s jaw up and kiss her lips.
Barbie’s eyes widened, even Tiana. What?
Jayden stopped the kiss and look at Tiana’s face, whose eyes is still widened.
” Jayden!!” Barbie yelled, tears forming in her eyes.
Jayden smiled.
” See, she didn’t do anything. That’s means she loves me.” Jayden smiled.
Tiana stood up abruptly and ran out the library.
” Fvck you Jayden.” Barbie said and left the library too.
Jayden touched his lips and smiled.
” That was a good one.” He muttered. He looked around and saw everyone staring at him with mouth agape.
He smirk again.
Ramona came out of one of the classrooms after trying to console Barbie who was still crying, she decided to get her a smoothie at the cafeteria to brighten up her mood maybe.
She suddenly collide into someone..turns out to be Alvin.
She rolled her eyes wanting to walk away but Alvin kept following.
” Stop following me.” She said.
” Not until you stop.” Alvin replied and Ramona groan before she stopped.
” What is it?” She asked.
” I just wanna thank you for yesterday, it’s means a lot.” Alvin said smiling sheepishly.
” Yeah, you’re welcome.” She replied turning to walk away again but Alvin held her arm.
” Hey Ramona.” He said softly and Ramona turned to him, feeling sick already.
” What is it again?”
” Can I tell you something?” Alvin said, Ramona was about replying when a punch from nowhere came flying on Alvin’s cheek
” Alvin!!” Ramona exclaimed, she frown when she saw Reece.
” Stay away from Ramona, you hear me?” Reece said looking furious.
” Reece stop, this is a school.”
” I don’t bloody care, he should stay the fvck away from you. And you, are you forgetting something huh.” Reece said and Ramona look away.
” What’s it that you two are you hiding?” Alvin intervene and Reece turned to him.
” You don’t have the right to know, fvck off.” Reece said and grabbed Ramona’s hand and started walking off.
Alvin wipe the stain of blood off and stared at their back, Ramona turned to look at him and sigh before looking away.
…did he just punch Alvin.

The students murmured and Alvin looked their direction.
” Can you all fvcking mind your business, and get to class.” Alvin yelled and they started dispersing
Alvin scoff before leaving too.
Paris ~ A house •
Miguel finally got a house for Lisa and here they’re trying to fix some things and arrange it.
” Thanks Miguel.” Lisa said.
” Stop it.”
” What!”
” Stop thanking me Mona, we aren’t strangers. Am the cause of this after all.” Miguel said and Lisa sigh.
” How I wish all this could end.” She said sadly.
Miguel picked a pillow and threw it at her, Lisa gasped.
” What! How dare you Miguel?” She half yelled and started chasing him with the pillow.
Laughter and emotions filled the air as they run around, the hair and clothes filled with the cotton in the pillow.
The laughed again and Miguel slumped on the a chair, Lisa slump on him.
” Am tired.” Lisa groaned.
Miguel smiled and started kissing her, soon their kiss were starting to become ferocious as Miguel’s hand slipped in her cloth but Lisa stopped him.
” Not now Miguel.” She said softly and Miguel smiled.
” As your ladyship pleases, I won’t do anything if you don’t want me to.” Miguel said and she smiled.
” You can rest, I’ll finish up the rest.” Miguel said standing up.
” Thanks hubby.” Lisa said and Miguel chuckled.
” I love that.” He said.
New York ~ Rodrigo’s Mansion •
Ramona got home and met her parents in the sitting room.
Now what’s the cause of this gentle gathering. Her sister isn’t there though.
” Hey Dad, mom. All good?” She asked smiling, the fact that they aren’t arguing still surprise her.
” We have some kind of news for you.” Mr Rodrigo said.
” Bad or Good?” Ramona asked.
” Both, not really bad cause I consider it Great. You’re getting married soon Ramona.” They dropped the bombshell and Ramona’s eyes widened.

Chapter 65 & 66 : Ramona and Monalisa’s Family Challenges
” Dad!! Mom!! What do you mean am getting married..to who exactly!!” Ramona flared up and stood up angrily.
” Baby, we have given the man our words. He is our business partner and trust me he is one of the most famous business men in New York and Paris, in even most countries. We decided to bethrone our children to each other to increase our friendship and for gratitude also.” Mrs Rodrigo said and Ramona glared at her furiously.
” Who the fvck is this person. Am not interested in getting married, am still in college for crying out loud.” Ramona said trying to instill sense in her parents.
” As for you being in college, after getting married you can still go to college cause his son is still in college also..and for the question..who is he, his name is Daniel Knight.” Mr Rodrigo said and Ramona scoff.
” So because he is Daniel Knight, I should get married to his son whom I don’t know. The world knows Daniel Knight and his son Federick, so you two are telling to get married to Federick?” Ramona said unbelievably.
” No, not Federick Knight. He actually has another son but no one knows him as his son because of some reasons known to them.” Mrs Rodrigo said.
” Am sure with time you will get familiar with his second son.. you guys have a lot of time to know each other before marriage okay?” Mr Rodrigo added and Ramona sigh out frustratingly.
” You know this is the first time you and mom agreed on one thing peacefully without a fight and..I should be happy but instead am so angry at you two. Am not getting married and that’s all.” Ramona said and carried her bag to go to her room.
” He’s quite handsome and smart also, you will like him!!” Mrs Rodrigo yelled after but the slamming of the door replied her.
Mr and Mrs Rodrigo sigh at the same time and they look at each other before eyeing themselves and each stood up leaving the sitting room.
Knight’s Mansion •
Miguel entered the mansion and saw only Fredrick busy with his phone. He sigh afterwards.
” Hey, you’re back. Did you see her off the airport?” Federick asked and Miguel nodded.
” Where are they?” He asked and Federick got confused for a while before understanding what he meant.
” Oh, Dad went to the company while mom..umm i don’t know I think she’s meeting up with some of her friends kind of thing.” Federick answered and Miguel nodded.
” Did you really see her off the airport and saw her board the plane?” Federick asked again and Miguel look at him…glared at him.
” Yes of course, why asking again.” He said.
” Okay then, if you say so.” Federick said and Miguel was about going upstairs when Mr Knight arrived but he wanted to walk off, Mr Knight stopped him.
” Oh Miguel, here you are. I have good news for you.” He said feeling happy and Miguel raised a brow and even Federick was confused.
” I’ve successfully fixed your marriage with the daughter of one of my good business partner, it’s been fixed.” Mr Knight said still smiling, Miguel’s eyes widened and Federick had to stand up shocked.
” What?” Miguel said surprisingly.
” Dad, weren’t you the one that said a girl could be a distract to him.” Federick said.
” Yes, but I meant other girls but this girl is the daughter of my business partner. If you two get along and get married, it will help our business more and keep the friendship between us.” Mr Knight said and Miguel nodded his head unbelievably and started clapping.
Confused Mr Knight and Federick stare at him.
” Wow Dad, just wow. You set me up with some kind of girl I don’t even know or have the idea of. Dad, are you kidding me, do you think we’re in the 90’s centuries. I love someone else and you know that, you don’t get to arrange my marriage. Thanks but I don’t appreciate nor do I want it.” Miguel said and walk upstairs in anger.
” Dad seriously?” Federick scoffed and went to his room too.
Mr Knight just smirk and sat on a sofa.
” You’re getting married to her whether you like it or not, our business will expand more that way.” He said.
Crestwood college ~ Restroom •
Kaylee clean her hand with the tissue and then dispose it. She carried her bag to leave but someone opened the door and Rosie and her minions entered.
It’s been a while, huh?
” Hey, look at her. Long time Kaylee.” Rosie said and Kaylee held her bag to herself.
” Cause you got to go on the trip and spent time with Kelvin because I wasn’t there gives you the joy now, huh.” Rosie said again, angrily.
” I don’t know what you are talking about, I want to leave.” Kaylee said.
” Oh wow, she has become fearless now right.” One of her minions said and snatch the bag from her, then poured the whole content down to the floor.
Kaylee clenched her fist as she raised them to Rosie’s cheek and gave a great punch.
Their eyes widened, where the fvck did she get the courage.
” Next time, stop bothering me. Come near me, if you want yours.” Kaylee said and they shifted back, Rosie held her cheek crying loudly.
Kaylee packed her stuffs and arrange them back in her bag, she eyed them and started walking past them but she deliberately hit her bag on their heads each and they sat on the floor crying.
” Kaylee, you bitch.” They cried and Kaylee smirked.
She remembered Lisa and Kelvin’s words and smiled, before leaving the restroom.
Monalisa’s house •
Miguel entered the house and met Lisa watching TV. Immediately Lisa saw him, she stood up and ran to hug him.
Miguel smiled and hugged her back.
” I’ve missed you.” Lisa said. They broke the hug and came to sit down.
” It’s must be boring here right.” Miguel said caressing her cheek.
” Yes, it is but don’t worry about me. Am fine.” Lisa said and smiled.
Miguel contemplated if he should tell her about the marriage stuff.
” Miguel, a guy just opened a ice cream truck opposite here.” Lisa said happily.
” Yeah, I saw it on my way here.” Miguel replied.
” Common, let’s go get some please.” Lisa pouted and Miguel chuckled.
” Of course, you don’t have to beg me. Let’s go.” Miguel said and stood up.
Immediately Lisa stand up, she jump on his back but Miguel was quick to catch her.
” Hey, what are you doing?” Miguel said laughing.
” Give me a ride there, common.” Lisa said patting his back.
” You don’t even a single weight.” Miguel scoffed, adjusting her well. Lisa hit him playfully and Miguel laughed.
They got to the ice cream truck and bought a cone each. They smiled and they savor the sweet taste and also smearing each other’s face with ice cream.
The guy, the owner of the truck chuckled and smiled looking at them.
Miguel spent some times with her and left at night.
Next morning ~ Knight’s Mansion •
Federick knocked on Miguel’s door and Miguel groaned and went to open it.
” What’s it?” He asked with sleepy eyes.
” Umm, Dad and..mom want you downstairs. There’s something important.” Federick said and Miguel rolled his eyes.
” Tell them am still on bed.” He replied wanting to close the door but Federick stopped him again.
” Just come once, it’s important.” Federick insisted and he groan before going in to put on something better.
They left for downstairs.
” Oh, son. Welcome, meet your future in-law and wife.” Mr Knight said and Miguel looked in the direction.
Her sleepy eyes widened at the so called bride, even the bride stood in shock.
” Ramona?”
” Miguel!”
They said simultaneously.
