Episode 16 : The First Kiss
“ Elle you are drunk mermaids do not exist ” Riven said but I hold his hand almost crying.
“ listen to me Ven I’m a mermaid and I’m not talking drunk or something I’m telling you the truth do you want any prove? ” I said but he nod his head still convinced that I’m drunk but I hold him firmly and shedding a tear which turn to a pearl immediately and I can see the shocked expression on his face.
“ Elle are you really telling the truth? ” he asked.
“ I’m only telling you because I love you ” I cleared my throat staring deep into his eyes seeing the horror there another tear escape from my eyes turning into another pearl.
“ its okay if you don’t accept my identity just know I’m not keeping anything from you and I’m saying nothing but the truth Riven ” I said breaking the awkward silence and turning away from him with a sigh.
“ Elle are you serious? You are a mermaid? No wonder you are too beautiful my girlfriend is a mermaid ” Riven said with a chuckle. I smiled and I hit him for scaring me so much.
“ awww do you have lead as bones? ” he cried. “ well you are a mermaid stronger than humans so what am I expecting? ” he added still rubbing his arm.
“ I’m really stronger than humans that’s why I saved you remember? ” I teased and he laughed.
“ I’m so happy my girlfriend is a mermaid ” he shouted and without warning he gave me a warm hug.
“ Elle I love you whether you are a mermaid or not this love I’m feeling is real or do you want me to cut open my chest and show you my heart? ” he asked and I laughed he is funny I felt some missing on my neck and it turn out to be my necklace. I started searching for it careful not to let Riven suspect anything.
“ looking for this ” he said with a grin holding my necklace.
“ some people are born to be thieves when did you take that? ” I asked and he laughed again.
“ oh my then you are in love with a thief Elle what a lucky fate ”
“ well give it back that’s my mom’s tears ” I said stretching my palms.
“ you mom’s tears? ” he asked with a curious expression.
“ yes didn’t you see my tears turn to pearl just now? ” I said with a frown and he grinned seriously what’s funny?
“ I’m not going to steal it after all. I just want to give you another don’t know whose tears this is but it is a pearl necklace too so happy birthday my love ” he said wearing the necklace on my neck it shone brightly and I felt strong energy surge through my body. It looks like I’m gaining new powers what did riven know about the water world after all? So it is nothing he even thought our types does t exist.
“ Elle hope you’ve made things right with him? ” Eva asked and I grinned
“ you bet ” I laughed like a crazy woman while Eva just smiled.
“ it feels good to be in love what about your boyfriend? ” I asked but she blushes.
“ you know mom and grandma are swimmers so I’m also one so no time for boyfriend but I like a guy in school unfortunately he never show any interest in me ” Eva said with her face down.
“ so sad but this guy must be so hot for my sophisticated cousin to fall head over heels in love with him ” I place my hand on my chin getting interested in my cousin’s love life.
“ well he is just too handsome and hot. If he you see him coming out of the swimming pool you may die. I always lose my mind just looking at those abs I mean with them glistening with water I always feel like you know just touch them you know. Elyan really got me ” Eva blushes holding her chest because I can hear her heart beating faster.
“ and you know Elle. Anytime he calls me senior Eva I find myself in cloud nine. I feel as if I’m I’m heaven ” she added.
“ don’t you feel like that with Riven? ” she asked and grinned those feelings I can’t explain.
“ well Riven and I were once sworn enemies until I save him ” I smiled proudly remembering my encounter with the assassins.
“ save him? ”
“ yes someone try to kill and I happen to be passing by well we made a deal back then, I ask what I will get in return if I save him and do you know what that idiot said? ” I asked with a laugh.
“ what? ”
“ he said he will be my servant for life. I found joy in taunting him then but that end when he saw my face for the first time. I started affecting him and he is also affecting me also. Every time I found myself tinking about him calling his name in my sleep. Do you know I accidentally muttered his name while dosing off beside my father?” I kept laughing at myself reflecting on how much I’ve changed.
“ what did uncle say? ” Eva asker.
“ he said someone has popped the bubble of love in my daughter’s heart ” I can stop laughing but I like the feeling.
Episode 17 : A Rival’s Scheme
“ the day he kissed me ” I said and I can see her eyes popping out.
“ he kissed you ” she asked with a shock expression.
“ yes we are dating ” I replied and she blush. “ how does it feel like did you faint? ” she asked.
“ I almost but I keep my stand I don’t want to look weak but inside I felt as if my heart will explode. My heart always beat so fast whenever he move closer and I won’t have any power to stop it seriously Riven really stole my heart ” I said with a blush.
“ I understand the feeling but imagine Elyan kissing me oh I will faint I know I’m so weak when it comes to love I’m not like my mom ” she laughed so strange that I wonder what happen I mean the laugh doesn’t correspond with her words.
“ while my dad is away my mom dated five guys behind his back breaking up with them every months.whenever my mom come home without her car she has uncle Jason pick her up understand one thing she just broke up with another man according to her it is for fun ” she laughed again and now I get it no wonder aunt lyka knows much about love.
“ but I feel like living here with you I mean I have a company now the three old spinsters are boring ” she sigh.
“ the three old spinsters? You mean Kyle, Danielle and Lauretta? ” I asked and she nodded.
“ all they do all day is holding their hands together and wait for visions to come that’s why they are not married just like grandaunt Amelia ” she roll her eyes clenching her teeth.
“ but what about your school? ” I asked she drop her head with a sad face.
“ well I can spend my holidays with you ” she said with her face beaming with smiles.
“ well just work things out between you and Elyan I’m sure you guys will be a great couple ” .
“ wait Elle why did you hate Riven in the first place? ” she ask too much questions.
“ well he is too proud as the handsome guy he is. All girls like him and he’s too full of himself and he is annoying ” I laughed and she also laugh
“ a guy like that love you shouldn’t you be happy? ” Eva asked.
“ well I was new then didn’t have any idea of love or something so you bet I was naive ” I raised my hands and she laughed again pointing her fingers at me. “ so that naive mermaid finally fall in love with him? ” Eva blink her eyes and I laughed taking a glass of water

Riven’s POV
I didn’t know Elle is a talkative, wow those girls are something else. Well girls whenever they are together gossip begins I hope the Elyan Eva is talking about is not the one I know.
They are still laughing I think Eva is also a mermaid they are families
A dark underwater prison
Morgan in her mermaid form swam to a corner with a light in her hand.
“ Morgan what news have you got for me? ” the tall monster like merman inside the prison said with a husky voice.
His name is Edward the young prince of Oceania, he try to wage a war against maidri using dark magic but he was stopped by his sister who lock him up in the dark prison.
He is so full of rage that he want the throne and princess Elka by all means even if it means destroying Oceania.
“ well Elka have a daughter now very beautiful than her mother her name is Marielle would you like a bride Like that? ” Morgan said with a smirk the monster Edward’s eyes lit up with happiness.
“ really? Maybe if I can’t have the mother I will have the daughter ” the monster smiled exposing his long ugly teeth.
“ what would I have if I give it to you? ” Morgan asked with a seductive smile but the monster’s rage started building up.
“ I can’t share Marielle’s love with you!! ” Edward yelled while Morgan smile swimming away she know perfectly what she is doing.
“save me Marielle save me ” a manly voice called in my head.
Riven? This is not Riven.
“ hello? Who are you? ” I shouted and he appeared who is he?
“ I’m prince Edward ” he said and my anger rise how dare he appear before me?
“ I know what you are thinking but I’m not the one that cause your mother’s banishment from the water world that Edward in the prison is not me. Think about it why will I love your mother? I have a fiancee I loved then but the story change when Morgause appear in my life she want the celestial comb. We can work together to restore the position of princess Elka and save my body from Morgause destruction ” he said with so much sadness in his eyes that I almost cried.
“ Morgause? ” I said opening my eyes, it was a dream.
“ who is Morgause? ” a voice said beside me and I turn to see riven lying beside me?
“ what are you doing in my room? ” I asked covering myself.
“ you were having a nightmare ” he said and I can clearly see it in his eyes that he is lying
Why am I feeling a strange aura around him?

Episode 18 : The Rescue
Elle’s POV
Eva found Riven and I in that position but she smiled well I don’t care I have to know who the new enemy is.
“ Morgause I have never heard that name before maybe grandaunt Amelia or Adriana can have an answer ” Eva said holding her chin while I sigh.
‘ is there anything I can help with? ’ Riven asked and frowned at him he still have many question to answer seems he understand my expression so he just lie on the bed again.
“ so you mean instead of fighting Edward we are going to save him? ” Eva sitting on a chair in the sacred room. We are both in front of mirror of life.
“ I don’t know why he feel so familiar but with a different face I felt so much pity for him ” I sigh while Eva squeeze my shoulder.
“ I told you Eva not to touch the mirror of life without my consent again ” Adriana yelled at us from behind.
“ grandaunt we just have some question for the mirror ” I said with a serious face.
“ I’m all hears ” aunt said and I narrate my dreams she sigh.
“ Morgause? ” Adriana asked and I nodded.
“ the only Morgause I know is a long forgotten witch, she can control a merman’s mind but her magics don’t work on a mermaid. I think I heard she want the celestial comb but she never got it ” Adriana explained.
“ but auntie do you think she is trying to use Edward to accomplish her mission? ” I asked.
“ it seems so but we don’t know who this Morgause is in person ” eva said and I sigh.
Battling with an unknown enemy is very risky because you won’t know how powerful or how weak the enemy is.
“ hi my love you look worried is it still about me? Well I swear I did nothing that night Elle believe me ” Riven said on on our way to school
“ its not about you please stop! ” I yelled and he seems surprised buy my sudden reaction.
“ okay Ven I’m sorry okay didn’t mean to yell ” I said softly and he sigh.
“ I don’t have any choice but to forgive you did I? ” he said and I hit him playfully.
Timmy’s POV
Watching Elle and riven play like that sting my heart I really love Elle but its a pity my best friend love her and she love him too. I don’t want to hurt my best friend and the woman I love but I will end up hurting.
“ Timmy ” our class teacher called and I turn my back to see her waving at me.
“ you love Elle don’t you? ” she asked oh my gosh how did she know?
“ answer me ” she said and I nod my head innocently.
“ well if you love someone you have to fight for your love not hurting your heart around ” miss Morgan said but I can’t understand riven is my best friend.
“ but Riven is my best friend ” I said but she smiled.
“ if he is to be in your shoes do you think he won’t fight for Elle? ” she asked but no! Riven will never do that. Riven always care about me he won’t hurt me and I’ll never hurt him too.
“ miss Morgan I think I have to go ” I shyly excuse myself.
Morgan’s POV
This boy is stupid, but what shall I do? My magic is already working on him, now he will find every possible means to get Marielle.
Elle’s POV
“ Elle can you sing for me? ” Olivia said beside me well I don’t want to I don’t have the strength to sing.
“ Olivia not today I’m not that sensitive today maybe next time ” I said yawning.
“ Morgause Morgause ” I muttered but I think Riven heard he turn to look at me.
“ Morgause? ” I said again but this time I can’t any meaning but it sound familiar
“ Morgause Morgan? Morgan?!” yes Morgan she is working for prince Edward but instead she is the one controlling his mind? That’s why the real Edward is so sad.
“ hello Eva? ” I held my phone after dialing Eva’s number.
“ yes? ”.
“ now I know who Morgause is ” I whispered and I think something slip from Eva’s hand because I heard a crash.
“ the daughter of the devil is my class teacher ”
Episode 19 : The Revelation
“ you don’t mean that do you? ” Eva shouted.
“ she is miss Morgan maybe she changed her name just to monitor my mom’s life and mine too never knew she is an ancient witch but now we have to plan ” I explained and she breathed hard trying to accept the situation but there is nothing I can do I have to tell my mother.
“ wow I’m going to tell queen Ariel I’m going to maidri tomorrow take care sister ” Eva said hanging up the phone.
“ Elle why are you calling our class teacher by her name? ” Riven asked behind me suddenly and believe me I’m so scared he scares me.
“ riven you scared me ” I said holding my chest.
“ sorry my love ” he said back hugging me and I feel really calm his warm breath always breed calm air inside me.
“ Morgan is an enemy of mine she is a mermaid like me ” I explained to him so as not to keep any secret from him.
“ oh I know ” he sigh but what the hell did he just say? He knew.
“ what did you just say? ” I asked.
“ Elle you see there’s no point hiding myself from you anymore. I knew you were a mermaid even before you came to this world just that I didn’t recognize you earlier ” for the first time Riven talk like a matured person but I don’t get what he meant.
“ I don’t understand ”.
“ Morgause destroyed my life just because she want the comb belonging to your clan of mermaid and she took my body from me draining my energy every hour with the eye of the Phoenix but I manage to cast a spell of total immunity on myself if not I would have been dead by now. I heard from the destinies that a young girl from the descendant of Ariel will save me and that happen to be you please Marielle free me from Morgause’s bondage ” I can understand what he is saying not even a word at all.
“ I don’t get you Riven please who are you? ” I ask feeling uneasy.
“ I’m prince Edward of Oceania ” he finally drop the bombshell and I found myself shivering and I couldn’t understand what is happening for a minute I felt like the world is collapsing on my head. How can Riven be Edward? How my beloved Ven be prince Edward.
“ I’m not the Edward that sent your mother away from the water world that’s my fake now he is even a monster but I’m not the one Elle I swear I only want your help didn’t know I will later fall for you the pearl I gave you on your birthday was my tears I gave so I can connect our minds together ” Riven or should I say Edward said in an emotional but I still can’t believe the awkward situation I mean how can I possibly help?
“ well Riven I don’t believe you and I will never you lied to me while I share all my secrets with you? No no riven I can’t believe this. You kept such a thing from me for so long Riven you are not trustworthy I hate you and I won’t and never help you ” I shouted cleaning my tears I hate him he doesn’t deserve my heart seeing him break my heart more.
“ Elle please ” he try to plead but I can’t have any of that anymore I hate him.
I didn’t even look at him I just walk away to cry.
Riven’s POV
I don’t know how I’m going to forgive myself if Elle leave me that would be an unbearable pain and I may even die because the Phoenix’s eyes is really draining my energy and if I ignore it more I may die.
I felt my tears trickle down my cheeks I know I’m at fault hiding things from her but something is that I couldn’t bring myself to tell her I’m sorry I hope she can hear my apologies.
I felt someone hug me from the back and I assume it to be Elle.
“ Elle have you forgiven me? ” I asked but she is quiet for sometime.
“ well well well this is so good riven you replace me too early huhn? ” I heard Marielle’s voice behind accompanied by a clap I quickly disengage from the hug and I found out that the girl hugging was not Elle but Elia?
“ enjoy your new relationship Riven you will never see me again ” Elle threatened before walking away her pearls were floating in the air following her while mine were invincible.
How can I get out of this mess? Seriously?

Episode 20 : The Power of Love
Elle’s POV
I got home looking like a panda because I’ve never produce much pearls like that in my life. “ Elle what’s wrong your eyes oh my goodness who did this to you? ” greeny asked immediately she see me but I didn’t give her any reply my pearls keep forming every now and then.
“ oh my! Did you cry that much? What’s with the almost a thousands pearls?! ” Greeny exclaimed but instead I kept mute just crying more.
“ I want to go to maidri I don’t want to stay in that school anymore ” I said bursting into another round of tears.
“ are you having any problems with Riven? Or should I call Eva? Ever since you met your cousin you’ve been avoiding but I’m not jealous just that I’m bored ” greeny can be so funny is this a right time to get jealous?
“ shut up Green! Just shut up I don’t want any words from you huhn!! Just leave me alone! ” I yelled at her strangling her with my pearls..
“ Marielle have mercy it hurts ” she manage to say choking and I released her she ran our of the room like a lightening.
“ I’m sorry” I muttered
Riven’s POV
“ you this petty b###h how dare you? ” I shouted at elia and all she does is sob.
“ I love you so much and I couldn’t bare watching Elle take you away from me so I take advantage of the feud between you two so she can leave you I’m sorry Riven please look at me I’m prettier than Elle ” Elia sniffs talking like a little baby.
“ I hate you elia I hate you you are notthing but a cheap b###h if Elle doesn’t come back to me Elia! I promise I will make your life a living hell you this disgusting idiot ” for the first time in my life I talk badly to a lady but its her fault all her fault if Elle doesnt forgive I mean every word I just said.
“ I’m sorry I will bring her back to you even if it means kneeling and begging her I’m sorry Riven please forgive me ” she pleaded but I didn’t even look at her I just loose my tie a little and I walk away but her last word stop me. “ Timmy told me to do so I didn’t mean to ” she said and I hold her by her collar she is very small. “ how dare you witch? You just created a feud between Marielle and I now you are trying to make my best friend and I fight?
Your lues won’t work on this ” I clench other fist and I’m sure she can see the burning rage in my eyes.
“ I’m not lying Timmy loves Elle and he will do anything to get her I didn’t want to come this far but he pushed I think he is under the influence of miss Morgan’s magic the one she use on me the other day ” Elia explained and I can see some sense in it Timmy is being controlled by Morgause he may also lose his mind I quickly carry my bag pack maybe I can explain to Elle before Morgause ruin more things.
Elle’s POV
Greeny drove me to grandma’s old apartment in maidri and although I’m still not emptionaly stable I felt the sea calling me. I dip my feet into the water and my deep blue tail sparkle out I swam deep into the sea to my own kingdom.
In maidri instead of the destinies in Oceania in maidri grandaunt Amelia is the main seer.
“ seems we have a visitor great granddaughter Marielle ” Queen Arielle my great grandmother said immediately I swam into the kingdom.
“ your majesty ” I said bowing my head and swinging my tails.
“ you! Elle let go of what you are feeling right now you must help him or else the enemies of the water world will ruin all of us ” my grandaunt said immediately she sense my presence.
“ what? ” I said and now aunt Amelia is blind again she was once blind but my mom restore her eyesight but she is blind again.
“ you are our saviour I know you love Oceania as much as you love maidri you have to save and protect him to save us all because only him wields the power to stop this great enemy ” Aunt Amelia went further without thinking much I know she is talking about Riven and the enemy?
“ and the enemy? Do you mean Morgause? ” I asked and she nod her head positively.
“ you have to go to him now and hear him out let go of your anger ” I didn’t wait anymore minute I quickly swam using the mirror of life to teleport back to my house.
I met Riven asking my mom where I went. He sense my presence and he look at my direction. I missed him and his handsome face he look sad and I hate seeing his sad face I smiled then give him a warm hug feeling his warmth breath.
My mom cleared her throat and we quickly disengage.
“ hmm I forgot Morgause is up to something fishy. She enchanted my best friend ”.
