Episode 46 : Mira’s Clever Plan
“Charles tell me what you told me on the phone was a lie, why will you say Mira is missing?” Katie said as she rushed in Charles’s house.
“It’s the truth Katie, I came back from work last night and I haven’t set my eyes on her or even know where she could be” he said tiredly.
“Have you gone to the police to lay a missing case” she asked Charles nodded sadly.
“Yes I already did, they said they will carry out the search soon, but they seems too slow to me, I even tried contacting her best friend but she said she had no idea where Mira could be” he said as he sank on a chair near Katie.
“Have you tried contacting her family members?”
“They stay in Mexico, I don’t know any of them yet since we just started a relationship, I never knew something as this is going to happen” he said
“This is really confusing” Katie muttered as she tried to think of a way on how to console Charles who looked so worried.
“Catherine slept on an empty stomach last night, she even refused to go to school today, she us worry sick about Mira so am I, I just hope Mira is fine”
Katie held his hand in sympathy.
“You don’t have to get so worry Charles, Mira is going to return I dong know how but I’m sure she is going to come back soon” she said.Charles sighed.
“I just have this feelings that Mira is in trouble and I hope she is fine wherever she is, I just want to see her and hold her and make sure she not hurt, I can’t bear to loose her” he said as he buried his face in his palm. Katie stroke his back gently a while she tried to console him.
She groan loudly as she tries to adjust her eyes to bright light, she felt pain in her head, the pain was much, she tried to touch her head but she felt her hands were stiff, what going on?
She looked down at her self and the found her hands and legs been tied to a chair, what??.
But how come was she tied to a chair, she looked around and then notice she was locked up in a room looking like a store or something, how did she end up in a place like this, then she began to remember that she was in the garden reading her novel, and then she felt someone from behind her placing an handkerchief on her nose.
She began to struggle with the person but before she knew it, she passed out.
“Where am I?” She muttered to herself, then it drown on her that she had been kidnapped, she began to struggle with the ropes being tied around her, who could have kidnap her that to in Charles’s house?
But then the door burst open reviewing a person, she looked at the person in shock, the last person she would ever think of to do something as this to her is standing right in front of her with bright smile.
“Stanley??” She gasped.
Stanley walked in, he was on a causal wear and there was a cup of tea in his right hand and a smile on his face.
“Hello my love” he said looking at her with a smile.
“Stanley…. You…. You kidnap me” she shutter trying to believe herself.
He chuckles as he stood closer to her.
“Yes I did my love, I kidnap you, so you are mine now” he said looking so fulfilled.
Mira looked at him and then she saw changes in him which began to frighten her.
Episode 47 : The Emotional Rollercoaster Continues
“You kidnap me Stanley?” She repeat trying to find it to believe.
“Hey Mira don’t freak out okey, I only brought you to a safer place, and that’s being with me” he smirked.
“Why are you doing this? Is it money you want? I’ll ask Charles to give it to but please just let me go” she pleaded.
Stanley laughed.
“I don’t need money” he said.
“So what do you want?”
Stanley moved closer to her then he bend down to look directly into her eyes.
“I want you”he said.
She looked at him confusedly.
” I love you “he said.
” you what?”she asked.
“I said I love you” he repeat.
Mira looked at him trying to see if he was joking but he was not, he looked at her with so much passion in his eyes and it made her feel do unease.
“Ever since I saw you Mira, I fell in love with you,I always dreamt of the day I’ll hold you in my arms and confess my feelings to you” he paused and sighed.
“Charles told me to stay far away from you but I guess he will be the one to stay far from you this time,because I’m planning to take you away with me forever” he said huskily.
Mira gasped as tears fell from her eyes.
“You can’t do that, look you don’t love me you’re just obsess and nothing more” she said.
“Whatever Mira,I’ll take you a with me and then Charles will never get to see you again” he said firmly.
Mira frown at him, instantly she began to hate him, this was not the Stanley she knew.
“You’re crazy, I’m not going anywhere with you” she said at him.
Then he began to laugh like a maniac.
And then the door went open again this time a female walked in,it was Rose, Mira was shocked, Rose??
She shouldn’t have been surprised because she knew Rose never liked her .
“Oh! Sleeping beauty is awake” Rose exclaimed as she looked at Mira in a mockery way.
“I have been waiting for this day for so long, finally you’re in my trap” she said.
“You guys better let me go or you will pay dearly for this” Mira yelled at them but they began to laugh her.
Rose gave Stanley a signal to give them privacy.
“I’ll see you soon honey”he winked at Mira before leaving the room.
Rose looked at Mira for a while.
” you don’t know how much I hate you Mira, I feel like killing you right now but no, I won’t do that, I don’t want to get my pretty hand stained by your sinking blood “she said.
“I know why you hate me, it because if the relationship me and Charles share right, it because he never gave you what you want so you’re so jealous and so……” Mira was shun by a tight slap Rose gave her across the face.
“Shut the hell up, or I promise I’ll kill you, I’ll kill just the way I killed Clara three years ago” Rose yelled. Mira gasped in surprise.
“What?”
“Yes you heard me right, I killed my friend and I’m so ready to do the same to you if you keep pushing me to the wall” Rose said looking so proud.
Episode 48 : Charles’s Protective Instincts
“You mean you killed your best friend?” Mira asked in surprise, Rose laughed as she walked pass her to stand close to the window.
“She caused her death not me, she was my best friend, she was like a sister to me, we loved each other a lot, but I hate her the moment she took Charles from and I’m so glad she is dead” Rose said looking so angry.
“…..Clara and I were at the bar the first day I met Charles, I was the first to notice him, immediately I saw him I told her that I liked him already but Clara said she doesn’t like him, but unknowingly to me Charles noticed Clara and then he asked her out, they got married and she even gave him a child, I felt angry and jealous, like he was suppose to be mine, mine alone not Clara’s but then I decided to kill her and take her out of the picture” she said then moved closer to Mira looking at her angrily.
Mira never believe Rose was behind Clara’s death, what a world we live in!
“I did not do it alone, I also got the help of my friend, Stanley, we both killed Clara” Rose said smiling.
“What???”
Mira could not believe her ear, Stanley did what?this is so unbelievable, how come Stanley was also involve in Clara’s death and he is still living under the same roof with Charles, poor Charles had no idea about his wife’s murder.
“Yes we did it,Stanley tampered with her car brake and then we made it look like and accident, isn’t that marvelous” Rose said without remorse. Mira frowned angrily at her.
“Why will you do such a thing, you’re so evil” Mira yelled, Rose laughed.
“You know what, I don’t wanna waste my time now so I’ll just go straight to the point” she said looking at Mira intensively.
“You will be leaving for Russia tomorrow night with Stanley to his hometown, he loves you right, so you guys should start up a new life over there” rose said casually.
“What?you are kidding right”
“I wish I was but I’m not, you passport is set so get ready to take a flight to Russia baby girl” rose grinned, Mira groan angrily.
“You are insane, I’m not going anywhere”.
“So then get ready to loose Catherine, because she Will be the next to die soon”.
“What do you mean Rose”.
“I mean that if you refuse to go to Russia I’ll kill Catherine and get you implicated, and I mean it” Rose said with full seriousness.
Mira gasped, the Lady is something else, why would she put a little girl life in danger all for the sake of some silly love.
“Pleas don’t hurt Catherine Rose…. The child is innocent” Mira begged.
“Do I look like I give a damn,the child annoys me anyway, I never liked her from the start and we never had good vibes so it won’t hurt me if she dies” rose smirked.
“You are a witch” Mira yelled at her.
“Insult me again I’ll kill Catherine right now and it will shock you when tables turn to you, behave well with me while am still in my senses,it’s either you accept my condition or Catherine dies” Rose said firmly.
Mira wept silently, she can not allow Catherine to die, she ready to sacrifice herself for Charles and Catherine as long as they her safe, she knew it would be so difficult to let them go but she had no other choice.
“I’m still waiting for you reply Mira” rose said impatiently.
“Yes….yes I accept” Mira muttered.
Rose smiled.
“Good girl” she tapped her on the chin then went out of the room leaving Mira devastated state.
Episode 49 : Desperate Plea to Stanley
Mira’s eyes were swollen from lot of tears she shed, she could not still believe the fact the Rose really want her to leave for Russia with Stanley,
She wonder how she was going going to leave the lovely life she was already building with Charles and Catherine, she just hope a miracle from somewhere could save her.
Just then Stanley walked into the room with a tray of food, he kept it on the floor close to her then he began to loose the rope that was being tied around her.
Mira kept quite as she watched him loosing the rope then she said.
“I knew you as a good person Stanley, you are not suppose to be doing this”.
Stanley lifted his eyes to look at her then he smiled.
“I’m still a good person”.
“No you’re not……”.
“I am, is just that I’m trying to take what is mine which is you” he said.
“I was never yours which I’ll never be, Rose told me you were involved in Clara’s death, I can’t believe you’d ever do that, you are a murder for crying out loud and now you also involve in kidnapping too” she told him.
Stanley frown at her then he stood up right when he was through with the rope, his phone rang in his pocket, he picked it the spoke through it,Mira a watched him putt the phone back to his pocket then an idea popped in her head.
“You should eat” he told her then turn to leave before he felt Mira wrapping her hand around his waist causing him to startle.
“Please Stanley tell Rose not to hurt Catherine when I go to Russia with you, I’m ready to do anything but please she should not hurt Catherine” Mira cried, Stanley smiled as he turned to look at her.
“Really? You mean you are ready to go to Russia with me?” He asked looking excited, Mira scoffed inwardly then she nodded.
“Yes, I’m ready to do anything as long as Catherine and Charles is save please” she said with a puppy eyes.
“No problem, she is not going to harm them, i assure you this” he said then he pecked her before leaving, Mira scoffed then she wipe off the please he pecked, then a wide smile appeared on her lips as she brought out the phone she took from his pocket.
The drama she just did was to take his cell phone from him without his knowledge, she really need to talk to Charles, she needs help or this evil people may take to somewhere unknown.
Mira quickly dialed Charles number and then she waited patiently for him to pick up.
Episode 50 : Charles’s Realization
Mira kept on glancing at the door just to see if Rose or Stanley would come in as she was trying to call Charles, she just hope they do not catch her making a call with Stanley phone or she would be doomed.
“Charles please pick up the call please, it’s me I really need you” she muttered.
The first call rang but he didn’t pick up, the second one and now she waited for the third one, as if God heard her pray Charles pick up the call.
“Hello Stanley, what is it?” She heard Charles grumpy voice, she felt so relief.
“Hello Charles, it’s me Mira” she said quickly.
“What?Mira? Is that you Mira”.
“Yes it’s me Charles, I’m in trouble, please help me……”
“Where are you, I’ve been looking for you and why are you calling through Stanley’s phone number” he asked curiously.
Mira began to weep.
“Charles help me please, I’ve been kidnap by Stan……..Ahhhhhhh!” She yell when she felt something being hit on her head before she knew what was happening she passed out.
“Inspector Richard any new information about Mira’s case” Charles asked looking so impatient.
“We are still on it, and we have concluded that this may be a kidnap case” Richard said.
“I knew it, I know that Mira must have been kidnap but I kept on doubting it, but if she is being kidnap why are the kidnapers not asking for ransom yet” Charles said curiously.
“That’s what we’ve been waiting for, we just need a call from them then we can get their location from there”.
“But what if they don’t call through how are we going to get them” Charles asked.
“Relax Mr Charles, we will surely get through this…..”
Charles phone rang but he ignore it when he saw Stanley calling him, he was not in the mood to talk to him, right now Mira matter to him the most
He kept on ignoring the call until it rang the third time, he wonder why Stanley was calling constantly when he was really busy.
He heaved a sigh before picking the call.
He almost blast when he heard Mira’s voice on the phone, like is this for real, Mira was calling him through Stanley’s phone and she sounded as if she really needed help.
When he was almost trying to get more information form her he heard her screaming and then she hug up.
“Mira! Mira!! Are you there my love? ……shit!” He cursed angrily.
“Were you speaking to Mira” Richard asked.
“Yes Richard, but she was calling through Stanley phone and she sounded as if she was in trouble”.
“Who is Stanley?”
“My housekeeper”
“She called through his phone?”.
Charles nodded looking so confused.
“Then Stanley is our new suspect, he must be behind Mira’s disappearance”.
Charles was so shocked, how is this possible? No wonder he felt so unease whenever Stanley was close to Mira,
“So…. What are we going to do?” Charles asked.
“We would be locating them through the phone number she called you just now in that way we can get this Stanley guy, I’m sure he is still with her, she must have stolen the phone from him I guess” Richard said.
Charles reason with him then gave out a nod in agreement, he can’t wait to strangle Stanley if when he get the chance to see him,how dare him?
