Chapter 25 & 26 : A Dangerous Game
Vanessa stood still as the peramedics took Dylan away……..
She watched the van drive out of the school’s premises and she didn’t know when a tear slip from her eyes.
Is she seriously crying?….. why?
That jerk was part of them but for some reasons known only to him…..he saved her….for real.
If anyone said Dylan would do something like that she would thrown the person into a lagoon.
More tears rolls down her eyes as she pictured the whole image in her head.
The way he flings his bottle…… threatened to kill everyone in the room if she gets hurt.
Freed her……. slapped the gun off Ruthie’s hands…….made sure she was safe and took a bullet for her?………he fucking took a damn bullet for her…. twice!!!!!
“Dylan……why?……who exactly are you?” She mumbles as she tries to stifle her tears……she gently cleans her eyes but more tears pours down…..she just allowed them flow.
Ruthie and Tonia are no where to be found around the school premises so the cops had to take the guys who tried to rape her.
Dylan is her hero……she couldn’t possibly report him to the cops……she never mentioned his alignment with them.
She heaved as she turned and the face she saw made her mood go sour instantly…….her jaws hardened as she tries to walk past him but he held her tightly.
” Let me go George!!!” She spar but he didn’t budge…..his dim eyes staring into her soul as she struggles to free herself.
” Will you just calm down ruky!?” He suddenly snapped and she flinched….. looking up slowly.
” I’m sorry okay?…….I didn’t ran away…..I just wanted to make sure the cops know the exact room that we were…..” He said and her face turned into a mocking mess.
” I’m not ten years old George…..I saw you clearly…..you left me to die!…..if Dylan hadn’t saved me what would have happened?” She said and he looks away.
” It’s the same Dylan that almost got you killed” he with a smug and she scoffed.
” I bet he didn’t know they had separate plans…….. that’s why he stood up for me….. something you should have done!!!!!” Vanessa yells and his grip on her lossened…..she yanked her hands away as she stared daggers at him.
” The same guy who almost killed you?……. I’ve always been there for you Nessa….. what’s up with your attitude!!!?” He yells back and she pushed him backwards on the chest but he didn’t move because her tiny hands made no strong impact on him…..
” You are a caward!!!!…..” She yells and he grabbed her hands tightly.
” Why are you trying to make this difficult than it already is?…….. isn’t it bad enough that I had to keep up with your face around and now you are giving me attitude?…..” He said and her eyes furrows in confusion.
” What do you mean by that?……” She asked and his face softens.
Fuck!!!…..he almost blew it!!!!!!!
By now she had already distanced herself from him as he bit his lips to keep cool.
” Stay the hell away from me George!!!” She yells as she started running away….not looking back.
George groans as he kicked the air in frustrations.
Suddenly the chip in his ears activated and a thick baraton voice came through.
” What just happened?…….” The voice asked and George gulped….. looking at Vanessa as she dashed away.
” Things aren’t going as planned anymore……the guy already saved her and I don’t know what’s going on in that head of her’s” George said as he looks uneasy.
” You fool!……..why didn’t you do what you ought to do?…..why did you run like a chicken!” He spat then George ruffles his hair.
” They were guns………I could have been shot!” George fires back as he stares unbelievably.
” Exactly!……you were given a simple task…..make her fall helplessly in love with you but you blew that up……if you don’t fix this mess…..I will just have to go with plan B” the voice said and the call ended.
George groans as he walked off angrily.
Vanessa couldn’t believe her ears as she finally came out of her hiding spot………she held her chest.
Her suspicions about him were true!!!!!!

Vanessa walked in and Scarlett pulled her into a bone crushing hug as Jessica joined them…..they all pulled away as they stared at each other…. with tears in their eyes.
” Tell me it’s a lie” Scarlett said as she looks at Vanessa.
” It’s true…… Dylan saved me” Vanessa said and Scarlett gasped loudly as she covers her mouth…… Jessica stood numb too.
” Wait are you sure that’s Dylan?…..the same guy that almost became your worst nightmare?” Jessica asked and Vanessa nods.
They both dragged her to the bed and made her sit as they sat besides her too….. giggles in the air.
” Tell us everything about it!!!!” Scarlett said as she claps her hands in excitement.
” Well…..I was trapped…..then Tonia came and said a bunch of bullshit!….then Ruthie and Dylan walked in….at first he didn’t pay attention to what they were doing…..he probably thought they just wanted to taunt and make fun of me……then suddenly Ruthie asked if I was a virgin…..I said no and then she asked some group of boys to mess me up…..” She said and Scarlett gasped…. while clutching onto Jessica who’s jaw is also dropped in awe.
” Just as the boys were coming….boom…. Dylan stepped in……. he threatened to kill them all if they dare touch me……from there arguments popped in….guns were pointed…..I almost got shot but Dylan took the bullet twice….. and then his friend Craig stepped in….took me out but I pushed him and went for Dylan….by then Ruthie and Tonia were gone and the cops took the remaining boys away” she narrated and Jessica smiles….
” That was so cool….. Dylan is really something else” Jessica said as she goshed.
” Yeah….. what about George?…. didn’t he do anything?” Scarlett suddenly asked and Vanessa rolls her eyes.
” George ran away immediately he saw Ruthie with a gun” he said and Scarlett started laughing.
” That’s the guy you want to date?……..a guy who would run at the slightest thing….. what a joke” Jessica said and Vanessa shot her a glare
” Girls apart from that…..I think I should really be careful around him…..I don’t think he is who he really says he is……I think he’s a spy”. Vanessa said and Scarlett scoffs.
” I knew something was off about him……but don’t worry…. you’ve got Dylan to protect you” Scarlett teased and Vanessa hits her with a pillow playfully.
” Stop it!….. nothing is going on between the both of us…..he just helped” Vanessa said as she huffed.
” Yeah…. that’s how the love story usually beings….. from saving her…..to becoming the only one in her life…..oh God!” Jessica teased further and Vanessa covers her face as she tries not to show her red cheeks.
” Are you blushing!?” Scarlett asked as she looks amused.
” Hell no!…. I’m not blushing!” Vanessa said as she looks up but her face betrayed her.
” She is blushing……she is blushing!” Jessica sang as they teased her.
Vanessa grabbed the pillow and chased them across the room while laughing hard.

Naomi sat up as all her head hurts……. she’s in Nike’s room as she looks around…..she remembers the event of last night and sighs
Scarlett really kicked her butt big time as she rest her back on the pillows for support.
Her head was bandaged……so as her left leg and her right hand…..she was in complete pain.
The door opened and Nike walked in…..he had a small bag with him…….he paused as he saw her….she looks away as he walked towards her…… handing her the bag and she slowly took it….. maintaining eye contact…..she wondered what he was thinking.
” Is it true?” He asked calmly and she bit her lips….. finding it difficult to answer.
” Nike…umm…I…..” She trails.
“Just answer the goddamn question Naomi……is it true you tricked me into thinking my girlfriend cheated on me?” He asked calmly again and she became scared……he was way too calm and that’s freaking her out.
” Yes” she mutters and he grabbed her neck in a flash……her eyes widened as the bag fell from her hand….he pulled her up by the neck almost strangling her…..both of her hands on his….as she tried to free herself.
” Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t kill you right here and now!” Nike glowred in anger as his grip tightened around her neck…..she was gasping and coughing.
” Nike…… Nike….. you…are…. hurting..me” she gasped as tears fell from her eyes….by now she was off the bed….
” You cunning bitch!!!……you ruined my relationship!……. you’ve ruined my life!!!!!!” Nike yells as his bulged out….red…by now Naomi eyes were starting to close.
Suddenly Nike got pushed as Naomi fell to the ground….. coughing hard as she held her neck….her eyes were watery.
Nike stood as his chest heaved heavily with anger….he felt like punching the wall.
” What the heck Man!!!!!?…….you want to kill her?” Craig yells as Nike pushed him off his way….. walking out as he slammed the door shut
Naomi sat still as her throat still itched…… her bandaged head was banging with headache as Craig helped her sit on the bed.
She suddenly burst into tears as she covers her face…… Craig reluctantly pats her back as she lets out all the tears.
She sniffles as she slowly looked at him……. and he almost choked on his saliva.
Why would a beautiful being like herself do something so cheap?
” Thanks Craig….. I owe you one” she said in-between sobs .
” Nah it’s nothing………I don’t think you should stay here any longer……..you might not be so lucky next time” he said and she nods
” I will just have to stay somewhere else because I’m also not safe in my room….. Scarlett might kill me for real” she said and Craig looks at her with pity……. seeing her this way.
” Why did you do it?” He asked and she gulped.
” Let’s just say…..I wasn’t a good friend and I allowed my emotions get the best of me…… even though i met Nike first and I introduced Scarlett to him…..he still went for her and that hurts……I just wanted her to feel exactly what I felt” she said and Craig nods…… this stuff is usually common among girls.
” No matter what…..if you had actually considered Scarlett your friend….you would never had tried to move in on her man……..I believe if she were to be in your shoes…..she would never have done that………….you don’t know what it means to be called a friend…….the moment you realize that…..you will see just how self-centered you are” he said as he stood up and walked into the bathroom.
Naomi watch him leave and she held her hand together.
That wasn’t just what made her betrayed Scarlett…….
THE NEXT DAY……..
Vanessa held her breath as she stood in the one place she never thought she would be in her entire life.
She placed a soft knock on the door and walked in……….he was sleeping peacefully.
She took that opportunity to admire the real face behind that cold blooded heart.
Involuntarily smiling as she slowly walked up to the bed and sat down.
He was deep asleep……she placed her bag gently beside her.
” I thought you were nothing but bad news……but what you did for me?…… completely erased all those thoughts……I owe you big time Dylan” she said as she placed her hand on the side of his face…… caressing it gently as she watched him sleep.
” I was too quick to judge you…….I never really get to know the real you…… and I’m saying this with no regrets because if not for you…….I would have been the one here……or maybe I would have been dead…..but you dived in and saved me…….you are my hero Dylan…..thank you” she said as a tear slipped her eyes and she chuckles.
Who would have thought that one day….. she would be saying all this to him.
She made to pull her hand away but she felt another cold hand against her’s….. holding it still.
Her lips parted slightly as she watched him…..his eyes were closed but his grip on her hand was very firm.
” Don’t take your hands away……” He said in his usual nasal voice and she smiles…… placing her hands still.
He slowly opened his eyes and their faces met.
” What you just said…… did you really mean it?” He asked and she nods virgoursly……that earned her another smile.
“Toughie…..” He said and she chuckles……
” What’s that?” She asked.
” You don’t like it……..I mean that’s what comes to my mind each time I see you……” He trails and she found herself smiling to the extent her cheeks started to hurt.
He groans as he tried to sit up…..the bullets were successfully removed but he was still in pains…….she helped him sit properly.
” Now can you tell me why you did it?” She asked as she crossed her hands together.
” No one has the right to hurt you without my permission Toughie…………haven’t I made that clear from the start” he said cooly and she raised an eyebrow.
” I don’t get it……..all those time they were saying….they were going to chop my fingers off…….throw me off the bridge….kill me….do nasty deadly stuff……were you actually going to allow them…..or you just saved me because I said I was a freaking virgin” She asked and she chuckles at her cuteness.
” When she said she was going to chop your fingers off……I already knew what part of her body to cut off……. and when she said she was going to throw you off the bridge?……I already knew what bridge to throw her off……. and when she said she was going to kill you?……I already saw her lifeless body laying on the ground……..no one gets to mess with my Toughie huh….you get that?” He said and she couldn’t help but look away…….
” Feel free to blush around me……I don’t mind” he said and she looked at him.
” Why were you so mean to me then?” She asked as she pouted her lips.
” Because you were also mean to me……. you smashed my car” he said.
” And you also locked me up!” She taunts back.
” You needed to be taught a lesson” he said and she huffed.
” It’s only nice if you apologize and we’ll move on” she said and he crock his head.
” Why should I apologize?…….I didn’t do anything” he said and she flickered her hand on his forehead…..he held his head slightly as he winced in pain.
” What was that for?” He said as he rubs his forehead.
” That’s for being a d*ckhead……..” She said and he smiles.
” I’m sorry Toughie…….” He said and she thought she didn’t heard him well.
he actually apologized……. 😳
” It’s okay Dylan……..at least you already took a bullet for me….. that’s more than an apology” she said as she flips her hair.
” Then why did you make me say it” he said with gritted teeth.
” It just felt good to hear you say it……..” She said and he felt like squeezing hee into the shape of a ball.
” So your boyfriend ran away when you were in danger…… that’s fresh” he said as he tried to maintain his protruding laughter.
” He is not my boyfriend” she said as she rolled her eyes.
” But you kissed him” he teased further and she gasped.
” How did you know?” She asked surprised.
” I’m Dylan……l know everything” he said and she hits him slightly.
” Screw you punk…….” she said she bursted out into a huge laughter……. while holding his hand tighly to herself…… unconsciously.

George groans as he got slapped for the fifth time…… blood spilling out from his mouth as he was tied to a chair.
A cold aoura around him as he layed his head weakly….. blood all over his body.
” You failed me” he cold voice said and he looks up weakly.
” I’m sorry ” George said weakly as another punch landed on his face…… hitting his right eye and it turned red instantly.
“Arrrrrrragh” he groans…….his face tortured beyond measure.
” I gave you a simple task……… make her fall in love with you…..is it that hard?……..or is it because you only have the ability to make boys fall in love with you?” The voice asked and George coughed out more blood.
” I tried my best…..I really tried” he said.
” Your best wasn’t enough!!!!!!…… now you are only left with two options…… redeem her or I spill your little secret……” The voice said and George looks up sharply”.
“Please don’t…..I will redeem her…..I promise… please don’t do this to me” George begged and the voice laughed out.
” You don’t have enough time to slack around George……. imagine what your life will turn into if the whole world knows you are gay…….. your life and your inheritance will be ruined…….. and I will still get to kill you……. it’s a win…..win…..win for me” the voice said and George quivers
” Redeem the girl or you die……..got it?” The voice said and George nods virgoursly.
He smirks as he stood properly and fixed his gaze on George who was shivering.
He walked out and George gulped……… this is his last chance and blowing it is not an option.

Sitting elegantly as her office study creaked open…..she signaled and the man walked in…… placing a document on the table
She smirks as she opens the documents and a bright smile plastered on her face.
“You did it ” she said and he smirks.
” It wasn’t that hard…… the woman who is responsible for this is here in New York…..I did some researches on her and everything you need to know about her are in there” he said and Rosetta clicks her tongue.
She handed him a huge bag containing his payment and he smiles.
” Did you forward this to my husband?” She asked.
” Yes….I did but he doesn’t know it’s from me” he answered skillfully.
” It’s nice doing business with you” she said and waved her hands dismissing him.
She looks at the documents and photos……… everything that has to do with Jessica……. her birth pics……her education status….. everything that has to do with her life.
and finally a bold picture of Morgan.
Rosetta face hardened as she looks at Morgan….the memories of when they were in labor flashed through her mind.
Her phone started ringing and she picked it with a huge smirk on her face.
” What’s this that I’m seeing honey?” Her husband asked…. obviously he has seen the documents.
” Get ready…… our baby Andrea is coming back to us” Rosetta said defiantly.
Chapter 27 & 28 : New Friendships Form

” You have no right Mark!!!!…….we are talking about my long lost daughter here!……how dare you call me delusional?” She asked angrily as she stormed the living room.
Mark was sitting down with his fists tightened against each other.
” Because that’s what you are!!!…… going after a girl who you aren’t even sure if she’s your daughter?…… what’s wrong with you!” Mark fires and Rosetta looks at him unbelievably.
” Mark……. didn’t you see all the informations I gathered about her?…….she was born exactly the same day and time as Andrea!…….in the same fucking hospital!…….we were two women in labor that day and suddenly my child dies……. while she gave birth to twins?…… think about it Mark!” Rosetta said and Mark fiddles with his key chains.
” But we still aren’t sure…….you don’t have any concrete proof……if we involve the law you know they would demand for evidence…… and we ain’t got nothing!” Mark said and Rosetta smirks.
” That’s why I’m the one running this……..I have my ways Mark…….I just need your go ahead and you will see how everything will turn out” she said with pleading eyes as she held onto him……his body stiffened……he doesn’t want to be part of this but then again……if what his wife is saying happens to be true……that means his only child is alive.
” Rosetta…. I’m not so sure about this” Mark trails…. looking absolutely confused.
” I promise not to cause any trouble……once I descover the girl isn’t mine….. I’m going to back off….. okay?” She assured him with a smile
” Okay” he said doubfuly and she hugs him tight……he broke the hug and walked out……her gaze following him till he was completely out of sight.
She smirks………” I won’t any cause trouble?…. I’m not so sure about that honey” she said as she brings out her phone and dails a number……it rang and the receiver picked at the second ring.
📞 I need you to get someone for me” she said with a smirk as she walked out of the living room.
Scarlett was reading in Vanessa’s corner….she actually borrowed some of her notes and she’s trying to update them…….her tablet was beside her as she did some calculations on it…… whilst trying to meet up.
The tests had begun and that means exam is around the corner….. she can’t afford to fail…..
Even though she’s been distracted lately……she tries not to let it get to her…. thanks to Roonie…..a lot of changes had taken place in her physical appearance.
She’s now lively and free…….well…. that’s if she not alone or thinking.
Her phone beep and she reluctantly picks it……it was a text from Roonie.

🤳 I’m busy….go away” she texted back and he dropped a laughing emoji…….. which made her smile as she foucused on her reading
The door opened slowly and Naomi walked in….. immediately Scarlett saw her………she became uncomfortable.
Naomi walked to her corner and quietly sat down as she stared at Scarlett who tried not to pay any attention to the being with her.
Naomi fiddles with her fingers and Scarlett noticed the intense staring from her and packed her stuffs….she made to leave when Naomi stoped her.
” Wait!” Naomi called and Scarlett stopped……her mind didn’t want to but her body betrayed her….she slowly turned and saw Naomi standing
” What do you want?” Scarlett asked with a cold stare.
” I just wanna talk….. please” Naomi said and Scarlett sighs….she walked to Vanessa’s corner and dropped her stuffs…….she faced Naomi and gestures for her to speak.
” I know you hate me…….I don’t even care about that but I just want to let you know that I’m truly sorry…….I got carried away and I messed up….I wasn’t like this before……. suddenly I turned into a monster and I did really bad things…..I hurt you…. and I’m really sorry” Naomi said and Scarlett stared at her with mixed emotions.
Why was she apologizing?…..
” I’m not begging for your forgiveness……..I just wanna let you know that I truly regret my actions…… I’m better than this you know….but I stuped so low…… I’m sorry” Naomi said and Scarlett ruffles her hair.
The tension between both girls made the room stuffy.
” Why did you do it?…….I have always been nice to you Naomi…..why did you betray me in the worst way ever……why?” Scarlett asked with pure betrayal lingering in her voice.
” Because I was jealous okay!!!?…… look at you…..ever since I met you things had always gone your way……you had everything……a good life….. happiness……. good and caring family…… good friends and the most caring boyfriend…..me being close to you at that moment made me feel attacked……I felt inferior…….. seeing you happy all the time made me angry…..it made me sad!…….all I could think of was to ruin that good life of yours……I did what I did out of anger and jealousy” she said and Scarlett’s jaw dropped.
She never knew that’s how Naomi felt.
” You could have at least talked to me about it instead of shattering my life” Scarlett said and Naomi scoffed.
” Really?……I should have walked up to you and be like…..hey Scarlett….. I’m jealous of you and everything you have…..how about you jump a cliff and die so I could have peace” Naomi said in a huff voice and Scarlett blinks repeatedly.
” Seriously!” Scarlett asked bitterly.
” That’s how I felt at that time…….. look…..I just wanna let you know that I’m sorry…… and you should patch things with Nike……he truly loves you” Naomi said and Scarlett waved her hands negatively.
” I’m never going back to Nike………he cheated on me……..he slept with you…..you think I wouldn’t find out?……. Jessica knew about it and I was waiting for her to tell me but I guess she didn’t want me to die of depression that’s why she hid it from me” Scarlett said with hurt
” It’s my fault…….he didn’t mean to…. just forgive him… please” Naomi said as she held Scarlett hands…….. Scarlett looked at their hands and she slowly lets go.
” Nike doesn’t deserve me……if he could believe that I could cheat without hearing from my side of the story……then he isn’t worth it……and to think that he cheated first?…..I don’t want to have anything to do with Nike……we are over…. forever” Scarlett said and Naomi steps back a little…… Scarlett had made up her mind.
” I caused all of these…… I’m going to die of guilt” Naomi said and Scarlett pulled her in for a hug as she started crying.
” No need to cry Naomi…….you showed me that I’ve been wasting my time dating someone that doesn’t trust me……you opened my eyes gurl……. it’s okay….. I’m not mad at you” Scarlett said and Naomi pulled back a little to look at her.
” Are you sure?” Naomi asked and Scarlett nods.
” Thanks” was all Naomi could say as she tightens the hug between them.

Vanessa sat at the open space close to the cafeteria as she tries to study for her last test…….. with her hands resting on her head…….she found it really stressing to comprehend what she’s even reading.
She felt a presence in front of her and she looks up….
” I’m busy George…..go away” she said as she foucused on her books and a groan escaped him.
” Come on Nessa……you aren’t the only one preparing for the coming exams you know?” He said and she paused to look at him.
” How come I have never seen you read for once?…….are you even a student in this school?” Vanessa asked with a knowing smirk as her left eye brow raised quizzically.
” What sort of absurd question is that?…..of course I go to school here” he said and she chuckles.
” So how do you pass your exams…..?” She asked.
” I study…….” He said with a scoff and she rolled her eyes.
” Leave me be George……..you are distracting me……the bad kind of distraction” she said and he took her book and her eyes popped.
” Give me my book Guy” she said with all seriousness and he chuckled.
” It’s either you let me but you lunch or I keep disturbing you” he said and she pouted.
” If I say yes…… would you let me be?” She asked.
” Only if you say yes” he said defiantly.
” Okay…..yes George…..I would love to have lunch with you” she said and he smiles….. giving her her book as he excused himself.
She rolled her eyes as she continues reading when someone covered her eyes from behind.
She jerked at first but calmed down immediately she got hold of his cologne…….a bright smile plastered her face as her hands slowly got hold of his on her face.
” Dylan….I know it’s you” she said causally and he let’s go of her and sat at the other end.
” How did you know?” He asked with his usual killer smile.
” Because this isn’t the first time your hands have been on my face………I already know how it feels without even looking” she said as she plays with her hair…… completely ignoring her books.
” Looks like someone is getting obsessed” he teased and she hits him playfully on his arm…..he winced in pain and she gasped……. completely forgetting about his injury.
” I’m so sorry” she said and he smiles…….
” I deserve it……I mean hit me all you want because I almost did something I would have regretted all my life” he said and she furrows her eyebrows.
” And what is that?” She asked…..her ears itching to hear what she already knows but she just wants to hear it directly from him.
” What are you doing?” He asked changing the topic and she puoted sadly……..she wanted to taunt him but discarded the thought.
” I’m reading” she said.
” I’m hungry……lets go eat out” he said excitedly and she shakes her head.
” No way…… I’m busy” she said and he stood up…. walked up to her and started packing her things.
” What are you doing Dylan?” She asked with a smile on her face but he ignores her……..she tried pushing him away but he wouldn’t budge
He packed her stuffs and yanked her off the chair.
” Dylan…..you can’t just force me if I don’t wanna go” she said and he scoffs.
” Watch me” he said….. pulling her along with him as she hits his hand to free herself…..she soon gave up as they hoped on his bike…….. driving off.
George came back and froze as he saw them leaving…….. Vanessa had her hands in the air as she yells in excitement……..
The anger that surged through him at that moment could burn an entire building……he angrily flings the food in the brown box away……. watching it fly as everything poured to the ground.
He can’t lose……..he just can’t.
Dylan is in his way and if he doesn’t do something about him…… he’s going to die.
” The game is on Dylan” he said as he stormed off.

A female figure was strapped to the chair as different injury were inflicted on her…… blood ozing out from her mouth as she looks weak
Rosetta walked in as her heels clicked…..she pulled a stool and sat close to the lady.
” Dear dear doctor……. it’s been years you know and this is definitely not the right way we should meet after such a long time……” Rosetta said and the lady looks up weakly.
” Who are you?” The lady asked and Rosetta gasped dramatically.

” Exactly the expression I needed…..” Rosetta said as she sits properly.
” What do you want from me?” The lady asked as fear surged her……the injury on her body was more than enough reason for her to quiver
” The truth……if you tell me the truth…..I promise you will walk out of here alive….” Rosetta said and the lady shivers.
” What truth?” The lady asked and Rosetta stood up slowly…….she snapped her fingers and her guard brought her a new sharp knife……it was glestening as Rosetta looks at it……
” I’m going to ask you some questions and for every lie……you will lose a body part” Rosetta said heartlessly and the lady head snapped
” Please don’t kill me…..I beg you” she pleaded and Rosetta smirks.
” Good…..now tell me…… what exactly happened to my child after I fell asleep?” Rosetta asked and the lady stutters.
” I already told you…….she…died” the lady said and Rosetta placed the knife on the lady’s ear……her body tensed instantly as she felt a slight cut.

Tonia steps out of the bathroom as she saw Ruthie laying down.
She sat besides her as she looks at Ruthie.
” It’s been a week and some days now…… I’m tired of hiding” Tonia said and Ruthie scoffs.
” If we try as much as leave this place then we are toast……… not only the cops but Dylan would personally cut off our boobs and feed them to the birds in the sky” Ruthie said sterning and Tonia covered her mouth as she held her chest.

“Ashley???” Tonia and Ruthie chorused as she catwalks towards them….. staring at the whole room with a hint of disgust in her eyes
” So this is your hideout?” She asked as she placed her hands on her waist.
” How did you know we were here?………. did you bug us?” Ruthie asked as they immediately start checking their bodies.
” Relax I didn’t do anything……..I just figured you guys would be here……. besides this is the only place close to school…….the cops are so dumb” she said as she sat down.
” You should have been careful……what if someone was following you?” Ruthie asked worriedly as she stands up….. heading for the door

” So why are you here?……what do you want?” Tonia asked and Ashley smiles delightfully.
” We want the same thing and I’m more than willing to help you end that bitch” Ashley said and Ruthie smirks.

” Listen gurls……..I don’t really care about Dylan…..all o want is for that Vanessa to be dead……..I don’t have any problem with Dylan…….. besides if we kill him…… what’s the point of her joining us?” Tonia said and Ruthie snearled.
” Fine……we will leave him for you but we have to come up with a very good plan and it mustn’t flop” Ruthie said and Ashley walked up to her
” I swear to God I have the perfect plan……and also a scapegoat that will help us carry it out……we don’t even have to do anything” she said and both girls smiles.

Scarlett finished getting ready as she picked her backpack…….she looks at her wrist and cussed as she repeatedly hits her foot on the floor
” Aren’t you done yet?” She asked impatiently and Naomi walked out……. looking ready as well.
” I’m done……” She trails and Scarlett rolled her eyes.
” You want us to miss our last test right?……… funny how we both repeated second year” Scarlett teased as Naomi picked up her backpack as well.
” Hey…… don’t you dare remind of my awful past…….” She said and Scarlett chuckles.
” Where’s Vanessa and Jessica?” Naomi asked as she looks around the room.
” Jessica is in class already…….I bet Vanessa is with Dylan” Scarlett said as Naomi raised her eyebrows in a teasing manner .
” Since when were they close?………I thought she was all over George……the cute guy…. according to her” Naomi asked as they walked out of the room.
” Turns out George is a spy…….. he’s been paid to stay close to Vanessa…….I wonder why he would do such a stupid thing” Scarlett said as they strode down the hallway.

” They are not!!!!………. look” she said as she points it to his face and he tilts his head backwards a little.
” What do you want me to do about it then?” He asked and she raised her hand……. slowly taking his cone from him while she shoved her’s in his hand.
He made no attempt to stop her.
” You are happy now?” He asked and she nods with a smile.
” You said you were going to surprise me” she suddenly said and he nods while licking his cone.
” I know I did…..you just have to be a little patient” he said and she whined like a baby.
” Well….I hope my patience is worth it” she said and he thumped her forehead and she smiles.
” So tell me about your family……. you seem a little withdrawn” she said and his facial expression changed instantly.
” Did I say something wrong?” She asked and his grip on his ice cream cone tightens which made it flops out……… staining his shirt.
” Dylan!!……. you are pouring your ice cream….. what’s wrong with you?” She asked as she took a small hankie from her pocket and wipes his stained shirt.
All these while……he remained quiet as she cleans him up.
” You could have just say something instead of wasting your money………you are so complicated” she said and his hand held her’s and she stopped what she was doing.
” I don’t know my family” he said and she furrows her eyebrows as confusion flushed her face.
” Never seen them……. never heard of them” he said and she wanted to say something but he susshed her.
” Don’t worry your pretty head about it and finish your ice cream……..” He said but she couldn’t bring herself to do anything as different questions flooded her mind.
He touches her and she smiles as she continues while trying to make the atmosphere lively.
George stood from afar with his fists tightened….as he watched Vanessa bonds with Dylan freely.
She has never been this free with him and he wondered where all these sudden attachment is coming from.
There was a time when they were at each other’s throats and now…… look at them…… laughing and licking ice cream as Vanessa constantly hugs Dylan at any slight chance she gets…….. and that stupid smile on his face made George boil in anger.
He gave them one last look as he walked out.
George ruffles his hair as he walked through the hallway……he got to his room at the dead end and pulled out his key to open the door……his mind was clouded with different thoughts as he finally opened the door and walked in….. slamming the door in frustration.
He turned and jerked as he met Ashley sitting on his reading table……….a bright smile on her face as she looks at him.
He had a confused look on as Ashley continues to smile.
He looks at his door and back to Ashley as he couldn’t wrap his head around the confusion.
” How did you get in my room?” He asked as he finally got over his shock and flings his hoodie on the bed.
” Oh you poor frustrated thing……..how I got into your room should be the least of your worries right now” she said and he taps his forehead while trying to keep his cool.
” Ashley I don’t have time for your games……..I have way bigger things to worry about so just get the fuck out” he said and she gasped dramatically while holding her chest.
” How rude?………you don’t talk to a lady that way……you lack manners” she said as she stood up and started walking to the door.
George flops on his bed as he watched her.
” To think that I even came to help you take care of Dylan……but no worries…my help isn’t needed anyways” she said with a mischievous knowing smirk and George jumps off the bed.
” Wait!” He called and she slowly turned…..a sly smile on the corner of her lips.
” I thought you didn’t need me here?” She asked as she bats her eyelashes.
” You just said something about helping me take care of Dylan………are you for real?” He asked and she walked up to him.
” Do I look like I came here to joke?………..I noticed your fustrations lately and Dylan also did something really terrible to me……….I figured if we work together……it will be way easier to get him….. don’t you think?” She said as she placed her hands on his shoulder and he smirks
” Yeah you are right…….that bastard wants to ruin things for me……..I have to put an end to him permanently” George said in glint and Ashley frowns her face…..but quickly comports herself as he looks at her and she smiles….
” Exactly……. and I’m here to help you…. only if you want me to” she said and he nods virgoursly.
” But how are we going to do it…….. he’s always around Vanessa…….that d*ckhead won’t let her be” he said and she saw the hurt in his eyes…..too bad for him.
” You don’t have to worry about that…….I will keep an eye on them and once the time is right……. we’ll strike…… just promise to keep your mouth shut and work with me……I want you to trust me George……if this is going to work then you must trust me” she said and he held her hand.
” I trust you….. I’m willing to do anything……..I really need to get rid of Dylan” he said and she nods.

” Good…….I will keep in touch…… just watch and I will tell you when the time is right” she said and walked out.
Shutting the door behind her as a creppy smile suddenly formed……..if she’s going to succeed then she needs a puppet who is willing to do anything.
