The Gangster’s Girl – Possessive Love Story

Possessive Love Story

Episode 13 & 14 : Finnian’s Inner Demons

Finnain’s demons thirsted for blood, and he trembled uncontrollably.
He couldn’t contain it.
There was no way he would ever entertain the thought of harming his brother Jasper.
Jasper had always been the one who understood him best.

Struggling, Finnain turned away.
He drove home to the Shadow Vipers mansion, his veins pulsing and his eyes burning red.
Inside, Stellan and Rafferty debated in the sitting room about who was stronger between Gojo and Sukuna when the door burst open.
Spotting Finnain, Stellan couldn’t resist teasing him about kissing the new girl Seraphina.

But as Stellan approached Finnain with Rafferty beside him, both froze in their tracks.
It had been a long time since they had seen Finnain like this.
Finnain battled to control himself; the urge for blood was overwhelming.
Blood.
Blood.

His demons screamed.
“Run,” he whispered urgently.
But Stellan and Rafferty remained frozen in shock and fear.
It had been six years since Finnain last felt this urge, and the memories were chilling.
Stellan, prone to losing control in fights or at the sight of blood, knew Finnain’s demons were on a different level.
Finnain pushed past them, rushing to his room.

There, he grabbed a handcuff and secured himself to the bed.
It was the only way he could restrain himself, potentially for days.
He couldn’t calm down; the threat loomed that he might lose control again, endangering everyone in the mansion.
“Please stop!” Finnain whispered, terrified of hurting his brothers.

Stellan and Rafferty were his closest allies, but now they were witnessing his internal struggle firsthand.
If the demon within him triumphed, the handcuff would offer no resistance.
He felt like a monster, a beast even he feared.
Stellan and Rafferty, still shaken, contemplated fleeing the mansion.

But abandoning Finnain, their troubled brother, felt like the ultimate betrayal.
They were scared, but leaving wasn’t an option.
No one but Finnain could instill such fear in them.
With trembling hands, Stellan dialed Jasper’s number, hoping he would know what to do.

Jasper had held Seraphina until she felt better. After she finished crying, Jasper decided to cheer her up with ice cream. It worked like a charm, and as she bid him goodbye with gratitude, he smiled warmly and watched her leave.

As he walked home, his eyes caught sight of something unusual—a bag of medication lying on the ground. His first thought was of Finnain.
“No, no, no,” Jasper muttered in alarm. Finnian must have seen him hugging Seraphina earlier and misunderstood.
“Damn it!” Jasper cursed under his breath, anxious about what Finnain might do.

Just as he was about to head home, his phone rang. Seeing Stellan’s name on the caller ID, Jasper answered immediately, sensing urgency in his brother’s voice.
“Jasper,” Stellan’s voice trembled, a rare occurrence that heightened Jasper’s concern. “What’s wrong?” Jasper asked, his worry growing.
“It’s Finnian,” Stellan began, and Jasper’s heart sank.

“What happened to Finnain?” Jasper demanded, fearing the worst.
“His demons…” Stellan’s voice trailed off, but that was enough for Jasper. Without hesitation, he hailed a cab. It had been years since Finnain’s demons had surfaced, and Jasper knew it was serious.

Arriving at the Shadow Vipers mansion, Jasper rushed inside to find Stellan shaking and Rafferty attempting to calm him, clearly frightened.
“Where is he?” Jasper asked urgently.
“I think he’s in his room,” Rafferty replied with concern, and Jasper wasted no time, sprinting to Finnain’s room.
“Finnain!” Jasper called out upon reaching the door.

But Finnian’s demons reacted to Jasper’s voice, urging him to kill.
“Kill him! Kill him! Kill him!”
Jasper struggled to open the locked door, eventually resorting to using his gun to force the latch before bursting in.
“Finnian,” Jasper said, trying to reach him.

At the sight of Jasper, Finnain lost control. The handcuff snapped as he seized the nearest knife, stabbing Jasper in the shoulder before Jasper could fully comprehend the situation.
Jasper gritted his teeth against the pain, no scream escaping his lips.
“Finnian,” he whispered, blood flowing from the wound, momentarily sating Finnain’s demon.

Seizing the opportunity, Finnian fought back the darkness, gaining control once more. As he stared at the horror of what he had done, his eyes widened in realization.
His hands trembled with guilt. He had hurt Jasper, the person closest to him.
“I’m sorry, Jas,” Finnain whispered, his voice breaking.

Jasper grimly pulled the knife from his shoulder, tossing it aside, never breaking eye contact with Finnain.
For the first time in a long while, Finnain’s hardened eyes softened with remorse.
Rafferty and Stellan, stationed at the door, were ready to intervene if Finnain did something worse, determined to protect Jasper.

Finnian looked at Jasper, his facade crumbling as his chest tightened with pain. For the first time in years, tears streamed down his face.
Jasper’s heart broke when he saw Finnain cry.
Stellan and Rafferty’s eyes widened in shock. They had never seen Finnain cry before. They were used to his cold attitude.
“Jas, I’m sorry,” Finnain whispered.

Jasper immediately pulled him into a hug. “It’s okay, Fin. I’m fine,” Jasper said, his voice trembling.
Finnain held him tight, as if afraid Jasper would disappear.
Stellan started to cry too and joined the hug, followed by Rafferty. The four of them embraced each other tightly.
They were a mess, broken and troubled, but they had each other.

ROYAL HIGH SCHOOL
Jessica, Rose, and Mandy entered together.
The hottest topic was the queen bees had an argument.
Stella, who walked in later, greeted her friends, but they all ignored her.
“Bitch,” Jessica said.

Everyone in the hall was surprised as they watched the drama unfold.
Stella decided to ignore her, finding it childish.
“Not like Jasper will ever find you attractive,” Rose said, and the rest laughed.
“Same goes for you. And Jessica, at least I have hope. Finnain already got a girlfriend,” Stella said with a mocking smile on her face.
A gasp escaped the students watching.

“What’s going on?”
“They’re fighting.”
Whispers filled the hall.
As Stella grabbed her book, Jessica sneered, “Yeah, at least my dad isn’t cheating on my mom.”
A loud gasp left the students’ mouths, and Stella froze.

Jessica had a smirk on her face.
Stella paused for a moment, feeling the sting of Jessica’s words, but then a sly smile crept onto her face. She turned back to face Jessica, her voice steady but full of venom.

“Oh, Jessica,” Stella began, her tone dripping with faux sympathy, “at least my mom isn’t paying the principal to pass my classes because I’m too dumb to do it myself.”
The hall erupted in laughter, the students’ eyes widening in shock at Stella’s revelation. Jessica’s face turned beet red, her smirk vanishing instantly.

Whispers filled the room.
“Did you hear that?”
“No way, that’s insane!”
Stella walked away, tears in her eyes from the hurt, but a sense of satisfaction from turning the tables on Jessica.

It’s been four days since Finnain had left his room. After his breakdown, his cold aura had returned, and no one dared to enter his room again. Though he felt guilty for what he had done, he also felt weak for breaking down.
“You’re weak!”
“What a pathetic child you are.”

“Rule number one,” a long whip landed on his back in his memories.
He stood up abruptly, breathing hard. His past haunted him, and he hated remembering it. He needed to go out.
Grabbing his jacket and putting on black sneakers, he walked downstairs. His brothers, who hadn’t seen him leave his room, stood up worriedly when they saw him.

Finnain left without a glance at them.
“He’s back,” Stellan said. They hadn’t gone to school, too worried about Finnain.
“Yeah,” Jasper said, still healing from his wound. He knew that Finnain hated himself more for breaking down. Finnain was so difficult, he sighed.

As Finnain walked away to clear his head, his feet took him to her house. He stood in front of Seraphina’s mansion, “The Blackman Mansion” written boldly.
He immediately snuck inside, avoiding security. He saw a light coming from a room and knew it was Seraphina’s. Climbing a tree, he entered the room through the window.

Finnain looked around and saw it was as big as his, though his was bigger. The room was painted blue and tidy.
The door opened, and Seraphina, in a transparent nightgown, froze at the sight of Finnain.
Finnain walked towards her, but she took a step back.
“Don’t move,” he said, his voice darkened.
Seraphina froze.

Finnain walked towards her, stepping in front of her. He looked at her, her breasts, everything he could see.
Fuck!!! he screamed in his head.
Seraphina’s heart beat fast as she stared at Finnain. How did he enter?
Finnain immediately pulled her into a hug, shocking Seraphina.

“Don’t let anyone hug you,” Finnain whispered possessively.
He slowly kissed her neck, making Seraphina’s breath hitch.
“Don’t cry on anyone’s shoulder. If you’re sad, come to me,” he declared.
“And don’t let anyone kiss you on the forehead,” he ended, kissing her forehead.

“Finnian,” Seraphina whispered.
Finnain then kissed her neck again, his lips trailing down to her breast. Seraphina tried not to moan.
Then Finnain stopped and looked at her possessively.
“You’re mine,” he declared.

Episode 15 & 16 : A Moment of Vulnerability

Finnain then kissed her neck again, his lips trailing down to her breast. Seraphina tried not to moan.
Then Finnain stopped and looked at her possessively.
“You’re mine,” he declared.
Seraphina was breathing hard. She had never experienced anything like this before, and everything felt new and overwhelming. She felt a wetness between her legs.

“Finnain,” Seraphina whispered, still breathing hard.
Finnain stared at Seraphina with intense possessiveness. This is crazy, he thought to himself.
“Little lamb,” he whispered, making Seraphina stare at him.
“Hmm?” she responded.

“I meant everything I said. If you break any of this, there will be consequences.”
Seraphina looked at him and just nodded.
Finnain walked away, grabbing Seraphina’s phone. He unlocked it and put his phone number in it. Calling his number, his phone rang, and he saved her number as ‘Little Lamb.’

With that, Finnain turned around and jumped out of the window, disappearing into the night.
Seraphina stood there, stunned. One minute, Finnain had almost killed her twice; the next, he kissed her.
“Oh my God,” she said, a smile creeping onto her face.

“No, Seraphina, he’s dangerous,” she told herself, shaking her head before climbing into her bed.
Tomorrow was Sunday, and her father, or rather, the man she considered her father, was having dinner with her grandparents. They were even worse than her parents. She sighed, wishing she could escape this hell.

THE SHADOW VIPERS MANSION
Finnain walked in, his mind in turmoil. He headed to the kitchen, not noticing Jasper sitting there eating cereal.
“She’s driving me crazy,” he muttered to himself.
“Who? Seraphina?” Jasper said.

Finnain turned to see Jasper, his eyes cold as he stared at him. He didn’t reply as he went towards the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water.
“So you went to Seraphina’s house,” Jasper said with a smile on his face.
Finnain ignored him, deciding to head to his room.
“Maybe I’ll just go there and ask Seraphina myself,” Jasper said, and Finnain immediately stopped.

He grabbed Jasper by the shoulder, pulling him up from his seat. He stared daggers at him, feeling his demons surfacing.
“Dare talk to her, breathe the same air as her, and I promise you, Jasper, I’ll make you suffer.”
But Jasper only smiled.
“It’s not like she’s yours,” he said, hitting Finnain’s button.
“She’s mine,” Finnain said, pushing him away.

That was all Jasper wanted to hear, and he smiled.
Finnain walked away, not wanting to have any more conversation with Jasper.
Stellan walked in, grabbing Jasper’s plate of cereal before stuffing it in his mouth.

“Why does Finnain look like he’s about to kill someone?” Stellan asked, his mouth full.
“He’s in love,” Jasper said, and Stellan choked on his food.
“What?!”
But Jasper only tapped his shoulder before walking off.
“Finnain in love?” Stellan said, shaking his head. “I can’t imagine, but I’d love to watch,” he said, smiling before continuing to eat.

BLACKMAN MANSION
Seraphina stood in front of the mirror, wearing a stunning red dress. The fabric clung to her figure, accentuating her curves, and the dress featured a deep V-neckline that added an air of elegance. The back was almost entirely exposed, with delicate crisscrossing straps that added a touch of allure. A silver belt cinched her waist, matching her silver heels perfectly.

Her maid helped style her hair into loose waves that cascaded down her back. Seraphina stared at herself in the mirror.
Ugly. No matter how hard she tried, she always saw herself as ugly.
Today, she was wearing her eye contacts. She hated them because they made her feel like someone else.
Genny, her maid, came in with that fake smile Seraphina hated so much.

“Your father and mother are waiting for you,” she said, bowing slightly before leaving.
Seraphina grabbed her silver bag and walked downstairs. She saw her mother and father there. Her mother glared at her with daggers of hatred, which she was already used to. Her father looked at her like she was some kind of disease. Well, she couldn’t blame him—she wasn’t his child.

Entering the Lamborghini, her parents sat on one side while she sat opposite them. The car ride was silent; no one was talking. Her father was on his laptop, and her mother tried to start a conversation with him, but he looked uninterested.
She pulled out her phone and remembered Finnain’s number was saved in it. Feeling nervous, she decided to text him.
“Hey,” she wrote.

But she got no reply. What was she thinking? Arriving at the restaurant, she quickly took a picture of the restaurant and sent it to him.
After her parents exited the car, she followed them. This is going to be a long night, she thought.

AT THE RESTAURANT
Seraphina watched as her parents took their seats, her mother adjusting her dress with an air of disdain. Her grandparents sat beside her, their faces already twisted with disapproval. She felt a knot tighten in her stomach, knowing they had something cruel to say about her. No matter how hard she tried to please them, she was never enough like her father.

As the waiter took their orders and they started eating, her grandparents began their usual tirade.
“Seraphina, dear,” her grandmother said with a voice dripping with sarcasm, “how is school going? I heard you’re still not participating in anything useful despite your grades. Your cousin Marianne was always so well-rounded.”

Her mother chuckled, not bothering to hide her amusement. “Yes, Seraphina, perhaps you should spend less time on your ‘extracurricular activities’ and more time on your social skills. Marianne always knew how to balance everything perfectly.”

Her father looked up from his plate, a smirk on his face. “You know, Marianne just got another award for community service. It’s amazing what someone can achieve when they apply themselves. But then again, she’s not distracted by foolish pursuits.”
Seraphina felt the sting of their words but remained silent, staring down at her plate. She was the top student in her class, known for her brilliance, but it was never enough for them.

Her grandfather leaned in, his voice cold. “Your father tells us you’re still not involved in anything that builds character. Not surprising, really. Who would want to spend time with someone who’s all brains and no charm?”
“Honestly,” her grandmother continued, “it’s a miracle you’ve managed to get those grades. With your lack of people skills, it’s no wonder you’ve never achieved anything that truly matters.”

Her mother laughed, her eyes glinting with malice. “Oh, don’t be too hard on her. She tries her best, even if it’s nowhere near good enough. If only she could be more like Marianne, maybe we’d have something to brag about.”

Her father joined in, laughing as if it were the funniest joke he had heard all night. “Well, she’s brilliant in her own way, just not in any way that’s useful or impressive in real life. If she could just channel that intelligence into something more meaningful, maybe we wouldn’t be so embarrassed.”

Seraphina’s heart hardened, but she didn’t feel like crying. She had learned long ago that tears only made them crueler. Instead, she stood up, her chair scraping against the floor.
“Where are you going?” her mother demanded, her voice sharp.

Seraphina looked at her, then at each of them, her expression calm and unyielding. “I’m leaving,” she said simply, her voice steady.
Without waiting for a response, she walked out of the restaurant. She hailed a cab, her hands steady as she gave the driver her address. As the car pulled away, she felt a sense of relief wash over her. She was used to their cruelty, and it no longer had the power to break her.

She took out her phone and saw that Finnain had replied. “Hey. You okay?”
For the first time that night, she allowed herself a small smile. Maybe she wasn’t as alone as she felt.

Finnain’s phone wasn’t in his room when his Little Lamb messaged him. When he returned, a sense of protectiveness washed over him, and he couldn’t help but ask if she was okay. But he didn’t get a response. He waited 20 minutes, and there was still no reply.
Seraphina, who wanted to reply, remembered that he had ghosted her earlier. A smile made its way to her face. She hadn’t smiled in a long time. Switching off her phone, she stared out the window, her mind on only one person—Finnain.

Finnain couldn’t take it anymore and decided to wait for her in her room since she had said she was with her parents. He entered her room, looking around but deciding not to touch anything. His eyes caught something, but before he could walk towards it, the door opened.
His eyes turned to see Seraphina entering. His eyes widened before turning dark.

“Oh my God,” Seraphina said as she touched her chest. “You startled me,” she said, smiling, but Finnain’s eyes looked at her from head to toe.
He felt his demon coming out. Before he knew it, he was in front of her, his voice thick and dark, his aura changing, his demon wanting to emerge.

Seraphina noticed the change in him and stepped back, but Finnain grabbed her by the waist, pulling her towards him.
“Strip,” he commanded.

Episode 17 & 18 : The Weight of Guilt

“Strip,” Finnian commanded, and Seraphina’s eyes widened in shock.
“I said strip,” he commanded again, his voice trembling as he fought to control the demon within, pushing it back with all his might. Finnian immediately stepped back, realizing his eyes were changing to a deep, menacing red. He didn’t want to hurt Seraphina. His demon wanted to consume her, but he cared about her feelings.

“Finnian,” Seraphina said softly, noticing the change in his aura. He looked dangerous, a raw, untamed energy emanating from him. She was scared, yes, she was, but there was a flicker of confidence she couldn’t quite place, and she stepped toward Finnian, lifting his chin so their eyes met.

“Little lamb,” he whispered, his voice a blend of desperation and desire. “I don’t want to hurt you,” he said, his voice shaking. Seraphina felt a fluttering sensation in her stomach. His voice alone made her weak in the knees.
“You won’t,” Seraphina replied with a steadiness that surprised even her. Slowly, she reached for the strap of her gown and let it fall to the floor, revealing herself in nothing but her bra and panties. Finnian’s eyes widened, unable to resist any longer.

He let the demon take over, something he had sworn never to do. The two never agreed, but the pull was too strong. In an instant, he pushed her onto the bed, his lips crashing onto hers with a ferocity that took her breath away. It was rough, primal, and relentless, but he didn’t stop. He wanted more, craved more.
She was his, no, she was theirs.

Finnian’s hands began to roam across Seraphina’s body, unstrapping her bra and tossing it aside. His lips left her mouth and descended to her breast, capturing one nipple while his hand massaged the other.
“Finnian,” Seraphina moaned, her voice a blend of surprise and desire.

But Finnian was lost in a haze of pleasure and hunger. His lips closed around her nipple, and he began to suck with fervor.
“Oh my god!” Seraphina cried out, her voice rising in pitch. She had never experienced anything like this. Everything was new, overwhelming, and intoxicating.

Finnian paused, his gaze locking onto hers, eyes still cold yet filled with an intense, consuming fire. He hooked his fingers into the waistband of her panties and slowly pulled them away, revealing her fully to him.
She was beautiful. Magnificent. Addicting. Most importantly, she was theirs.

His head lowered to her most intimate place, and he began to devour her with a hunger that bordered on desperation. Seraphina, unprepared for the flood of sensations, moaned loudly.
“Fuck!” she screamed, her hands gripping his hair tightly, pulling him closer as waves of pleasure washed over her.

Finnian continued to suck and lick, relishing the sounds of her ecstasy. He wanted to hear it again, over and over. Each moan was a symphony, each gasp a note in the melody of their shared desire.
Seraphina, overwhelmed by the intensity, felt tears streaming down her cheeks. The pleasure was too much, too consuming, and she passed out, her body going limp under Finnian’s ministrations.

Realizing she had gone silent, Finnian looked up to see her unconscious. Concern flashed across his face as he immediately stood up, gazing at her with a mixture of worry and affection.
Her hair was splayed across the bed, and he couldn’t help but smile at the sight. Gently, he gathered her in his arms, carrying her bridal style as he searched for her bathroom.

He laid her gently in the bathtub and began to fill it with warm water. While the tub filled, he walked to her large wardrobe and selected a cute pajama set, wanting to ensure she wouldn’t catch a cold.
Carefully, he washed her, his touch tender and caring. Once she was clean, he dressed her in the pajamas and tucked her into bed. He stared at her peaceful, sleeping face, his expression softening for a moment.

He didn’t smile, but his gaze lingered, his cold eyes taking in every detail of her face. Leaning down, he planted a gentle kiss on her forehead before turning and jumping out the window, disappearing into the night.

ROYAL HIGH SCHOOL
Seraphina couldn’t help but smile; she had been smiling all day, and she couldn’t help it. She knew Finnian must have dressed her and tucked her into bed. The thought made her heart flutter.
Now, she was in class, waiting for him to enter. When Rose, Jessica, and Mandy walked in, they stared daggers at her, but she didn’t care. She was too happy to let their glares affect her.

The bell rang, and she sighed. Maybe he wasn’t coming after all. She pulled out her book, feeling a bit disappointed. Just then, the door opened, and her eyes darted up, hoping it was Finnian. But it was a boy she hadn’t seen before.
“He’s cute.”
“He’s super handsome.”
“But Finnian is still the boss,” whispers floated around the room.

Seraphina sighed again, still no sight of Finnian. The new boy started to introduce himself. “Hi, my name is Aaron–” before he could finish, the floor seemed to tremble as the Vipers boys made their entrance.
“Oh my god.”
“Someone please kill me.”
“I fucking love you all, Vipers.”

Seraphina immediately spotted Finnian, and her smile widened. She was nervous, hoping he would at least acknowledge her. But he walked past her without a glance, sitting at the back of the room and resting his head on the table.
What the—she thought, her heart sinking. She had expected too much. He was mean. She resolved never to talk to him again. Angrily, she opened her book, tuning out the new boy’s introduction.

Aaron, noticing her, smiled and approached. “Hi,” he said, smiling warmly.
Seraphina looked up at the cute new student and couldn’t help but smile back. “Hey,” she replied.

“Can we be friends?” he asked, and Seraphina’s eyes widened in surprise. No one had ever asked to be her friend before.
“Are you sure you want to be friends with me?” she asked, and Aaron nodded. She couldn’t help but smile, feeling a warmth spread through her chest.

Finnian, who noticed their interaction, felt a surge of anger. He reached out and touched Seraphina’s hair to get her attention, but she ignored him, continuing to laugh with Aaron. The sight of her happy with someone else made Finnian’s blood boil.
He wanted to destroy Aaron, but seeing Seraphina’s smile made him pause. Instead, he angrily stared out the window, his hand still lingering at the tip of her hair.

Jasper, observing the scene, smiled widely. Rafferty and Stellan were in shock.
“This is unbelievable,” Rafferty whispered.
“I know,” Stellan replied.

Stella, meanwhile, was staring at Jasper. She really loved him. But her gaze followed his, and she saw he was looking at Seraphina.
Wait, does he—she shook her head to clear the thought. Jasper then turned, and their eyes met. Stella’s breath hitched. But Jasper’s smile faded, and he focused on his book.
“That hurt,” she whispered to herself, feeling a pang of disappointment.

It was lunchtime, and Seraphina and Aaron made their way to an empty table. She was surprised at how much they had in common.
“So, Aaron, how old are you?” she asked, taking a bite of her sandwich.
“19,” he replied, and Seraphina choked on her food.
“Are you serious? I thought I’d be older!” she exclaimed, glaring playfully at him.

Aaron found her reaction cute and couldn’t help but laugh out loud. People around them glared at Seraphina with hatred, but she was too engrossed in her conversation with Aaron to notice.
Aaron watched her, feeling a pang of guilt. She was too innocent for all this. He hated what he was doing, even though he saw Seraphina as a little sister, knowing that this was all part of a bigger plan. Pushing the thought away, he smiled.

“So, do you have any hidden talents?” Seraphina asked, grinning.
“Well, I can juggle,” Aaron said, winking.
“Really? Show me!” she demanded, laughing.

Aaron picked up three apples from his lunch tray and started juggling them. Seraphina clapped and giggled, impressed.
“Okay, okay, now it’s my turn,” she said, grabbing one of the apples and trying to juggle. She immediately dropped it, and they both burst into laughter.
Finnian, sitting at a distance, didn’t touch his food as he glared at Seraphina and Aaron, who were laughing. He immediately grabbed his phone and texted her.

“Come sit with me.”
Seraphina, receiving the text, checked her phone and saw Finnian’s message. She read it but decided to ignore it, feeling a small sense of satisfaction.
Finnian couldn’t take it anymore. He stood up and strode to their table, grabbing Seraphina by the arm and pulling her up. He glared at Aaron, who shivered in fear, remembering his brother’s warning to stay away from Finnian.

“Let me go,” Seraphina demanded, but Finnian turned a deaf ear, dragging her out of the cafeteria. Little did they know that the whole cafeteria could see and hear them through the glass walls.
“Why are you fucking ignoring me?” Finnian yelled once they were outside.
“Don’t yell at me!” Seraphina yelled back, angry and hurt.

Finnian took a deep breath, trying to calm down. “Little lamb, what did I do?”
Seraphina glared at him before sighing. “You ignored me this morning,” she said.
“Is that why?”
She nodded. “After last night, you ignored me. Wouldn’t you say sorry?”

Finnian’s expression softened for just a millisecond and Seraphina thought she saw wrong. “I’m sorry,” he whispered, pulling her into a hug.
The whole cafeteria watched in shock.
“Did Finnian just apologize?”
“He must really love his girlfriend,” someone murmured.

Rafferty and Stellan were equally stunned. “I can’t take this anymore,” Rafferty said, walking away.
“I’m going to check on him,” Stellan said, following him.

Finnian and Seraphina returned to the cafeteria, and it hit her that everyone had heard. She felt embarrassed, her cheeks turning red, but Finnian didn’t mind as he pulled her to his seat, placing her on his lap. He knew everyone had heard, and he wanted them to know she was his. He glared at Aaron, who swallowed hard, understanding the message.

Seraphina buried her head in his chest, feeling embarrassed, but Finnian loved it.
Across the room, Jessica was staring daggers at Seraphina. Stella noticed and smirked.

“You know, Jess,” Stella said loudly enough for Jessica to hear, “Seraphina must be pretty special if Finnian’s willing to apologize in public. Not everyone can get that kind of attention from him.”
Jessica’s face turned red with fury, her jealousy boiling over. Stella laughed, enjoying the reaction.

DARK ALLEY
Finnian waited, the tip of his cigarette glowing in the darkness as he took a drag. The thick smoke curled around him as he stared at the dark clouds above. It was 11 p.m. already, and Seraphina was messing with his head. No one had ever had such an effect on him. Did he hate it? He didn’t even know. But he made sure his cold gaze never changed nor did he smile at her. The only thing he did was smirk. He didn’t even know what it meant to smile or be happy.

“Why did you call me? Ready to kill me?” Blue’s voice echoed through the alley as he approached Finnian.
Finnian stared at him, his cold gaze shifting to one of hate and anger. He could feel his demon rising to the surface. Blue noticed this and tried to stay brave, but he was no match for Finnian’s demon.

Finnian had two personalities: the Finnian and his demon. Even Finnian was scared of his demon, and one thing was for sure, his demon hated him.

“Now listen to me well, Blue,” Finnian said dangerously, taking a step towards Blue. “Don’t think I don’t know your stupid trick.”
Blue let out a laugh before smirking at Finnian. “Is that why you called me here?”

Now it was Finnian’s turn to laugh, making Blue confused. “Don’t think I don’t know that Aaron is your little brother.”
The smirk on Blue’s face disappeared as a vein throbbed in his temple. “If you think of using him to hurt Seraphina, I’ll kill him.”

He could have killed Aaron, but he remembered how excited his little lamb was when she talked about Aaron, her new friend.
“Lay a single hair on her, and I’ll send his ashes to you,” Finnian said dangerously.
With that, he walked away, leaving Blue in shock. Blue punched the wall in frustration. Finnian fucking knew that the last thing he wanted was to put his brother in danger.

“Fuck, fuck, fuck!” Blue yelled in anger. Why must Finnian know? Why?
Finnian’s words kept ringing in his head. He knew Finnian meant everything he said. Because Finnian never joked—he made promises and never failed to fulfill them.
“Damn you, Finnian!” Blue yelled into the night, his voice echoing through the dark alley.
