Chapter 7 & 8 : He is mine
“Lily is…” Mrs Miller stammered.
“Isn’t she home?” Matilda asked already worried.
“I only left her at home to buy something across the road and I couldn’t find her again.” Mrs Miller said almost at the verge of crying.
“Mom, I kept her at your watch, how could you be so careless already. If anything happens to her mom, you know she is an orphan.” Matilda said.
“Am sorry, I should have been more careful.” Mrs Miller apologize.
“Am going now to look for her, bye.” Matilda said before going out of the house.

Matilda came to school maybe she might have come back looking for her, she was going not noticing the LEOS at the gate side.
” What’s she doing here again.” Elliot said.
Matilda looked for Lily at every nook and cranny of the school but couldn’t find her, she was about going back when she bumped into someone.
“Hey, watch your steps girl. Can’t you see me coming huh?” Amelia said.
” Listen, am not in the mood okay. Am sorry now let’s me go before I lose my temper.” Matilda said.
” Oh wow look at the poor girl.” Amelia said.
” Umm, please have seen a young girl here, she is not a student of this school. She wore red cloth and has a long hair.” Matilda describe Lily.
” Oh excuse, am talking to you and you dare bring up another topic, how dare you huh. Who the hell are you and who are you looking for, that’s doesn’t concern me.” Amelia said.
Matilda just decided to ignore her and go else where when she drew her back.
” Hey, I’m seriously not in the mood to fight or else your hand would have been broken.” Matilda said glaring at her.
” How dare you threaten me and talk to me anyhow.” Amelia was about to slap her face when someone held her hand.
” Liam, why are you holding my hand let’s me go.” Amelia said and she forcefully release her hand from his grip.
” Am sure you don’t want any trouble for yourself, just go. You don’t know who you are messing with.” Liam said.
” Are you trying to support this bitch against me, where did you know her huh.” Amelia said as Matilda tried to calm herself down, she really don’t have the time for all this.
“Just go already please.” Liam said as she walked off angrily.
“I just let her go so as to avoid trouble because….”
“Not in for this discussion, where is Lily tell me now before you regret.” Matilda said with a serious face.
“Lily? Who’s Lily.” Liam said.
“Don’t pretend tell me where she is now before I..”
“I really don’t know where she is, stop suspecting me already.” Liam said.
“I..”
Matilda was cut short by a call from her mom, she immediately pick it.
📞: Hello Matilda, don’t try and look for her where’s far. Her Mom said.
📞: Why, where’s she.
📞: Your father got home now and he was the one who chased her out.
📞: What! Dad chase her out. Dad is really annoying me already, like what the fvck is this.
📞: Just go search for her as soon as possible, she might be close by.
📞: Okay bye.
Matilda ended the call before facing Liam.
“Thank your stars it’s wasn’t you or else.” Matilda said before walking off.
“That is just your Dad, mine is on the way.” Liam said before smirking.
<>Matilda was looking everywhere for Lily, she was about to go home when she noticed a girl crying, she then Walked up to her.
Lily was still busy crying when she noticed some footsteps coming towards her, she then raise up her head slowly staring at Matilda.
“Lily!” Matilda called.
Lily immediately hug Matilda tightly while Matilda patted her hair.
“It’s.. it’s okay, common stop crying and let’s go home.” Upon hearing that, Lily immediately released herself from the hug.
“No no, that man will chase me out again.” Lily said shaking her head.
“No, don’t worry okay, am with you. Now come with me.” Matilda said, she hold Lily’s hand and Lily just followed her.
<>Matilda arrived home with Lily, she opened the door and met her mom and dad in the sitting room.
“Hey hey, what’s she doing here?” Mr Miller said upon seeing Lily.
” She is staying with me dad, you don’t have the right to chase her out of this house. And please don’t call this place your house because you don’t act like one that owns a house. Besides my mom does almost everything in this house , if you decide to chase her house, that will be over my dead body.” Matilda said before going to her room with Lily.
When they reached the room, Lily sat down on the bed before talking.
“He.. he is your dad?” Lily asked.
“Yes, he is just some kind of…. Anyway nevermind you are staying with me and that’s final.” Matilda said and Lily nodded.
“Am sorry about your registration to school, don’t worry okay, I’ll try and do something before the week runs out.” Matilda said before Lily hug her.
“Thanks.” Lily said while Matilda patted her hair.
<< Next day~ Star bright High>>
Emma was going to class when she bumped into someone, she looks at the person and it’s turns out to be Elliot.
“Sorry, am sorry it’s was a mistake.” Emma apologized.
“It’s okay.” Elliot said.
Emma looked at him in surprise, she was surprise because she just literally bumped into one of the LEOS and he didn’t react, that’s surprising.
“Thanks.” Emma said before walking off.
Elliot just stared at her and smiled before she was out of view.
Matilda was passing through the lobby to the class when Liam blocked her path.
“Hey what are you doing, out of my view.” Matilda said.
“Newbie tomboy, you didn’t apologise for yesterday.” Liam said.
Matilda dipped her hand in her pocket before ruffing her short hair.
“Not me saying sorry to you.” Matilda said while trying to walk out but he blocked her.
“You accused me wrongly, it’s only right of you to apologise.” Liam said.
Matilda was about to talk when the bell was jingled signaling everyone to the assembly hall.
“I will see you next time.” Liam said before going to the assembly hall.
Matilda was going to her class to drop her bag when Amelia came to her.
“Not again.” Matilda murmured.
“What were you doing with Liam.” Amelia asked.
“Well, I was talking to him what else.” Matilda said with her hand in her pocket.
“Hey tomboy, back off from that. He is taken already you know he is a Playboy. He is mine.” Amelia said and Matilda couldn’t help but to laugh.
Chapter 9 : F**k Mate
After Matilda has stopped laughing, she looked at Amelia with seriousness.
“Listen to your yourself, you said he is a Playboy yet you are saying he is yours. Haven’t you heard Playboy rarely falls in love?” Matilda said.
“Well, I will surely make Liam mine.” Amelia said before walking off.
“Fool.” Matilda muttered before to the assembly Hall.

Emma and Matilda was in their class discussing when they saw some students trooping in while the teacher walked in too.
“Morning class.” The teacher said.
👥: Morning teacher. The students responded.
“We are relocating some students to some classes due to some reasons, so some the class 6 will be relocating here while some of this class 5 will be relocating to class 6.” The teacher said before the murmuring started among the students.
👥: I really don’t feel like leaving here.
👥: Same here, why does it have to be now.
👥: I just pray am not part of the people.
Just then some of the students immediately started screaming, while Matilda and Emma wonder why.
👥: Oh my gosh, LEOS are relocating here.
👥: Oh Lord, don’t let me relocate.
👥: F**k, they are so hot.
Haven heard that, Emma and Matilda looked at the door and saw the Leo.
“Oh my, why are they here.” Emma said.
The LEOS walked to the class majestically and the students started hovering over them not even minding the teachers.
“Liam, sit besides that tomboy over there.” The teacher said and Matilda’s eyes widened.
“But I have a partner already.” Matilda voiced out not liking the idea.
“Elliot, go to that empty seat and you join him.” The teacher said.
“Uhn, I.. I should sit with him?” Emma said.
“Yes, start coming in please. Oh Evan go take a seat at the back of Elliot and Emma.” The teacher said.
Matilda and Emma stared at each other when Evan walked in. Evan sat down with a girl named Vivian.
“I saw you again welcome to our class.” Emma said to Evan but he just ignored her.
Emma was just trying all the way not to make Elliot uncomfortable. She shifted a bit away from him which Elliot noticed.
“What are you doing, why are you acting this way.” Elliot said which got Emma turned to him swiftly.
“Huh, I umm I was just trying to adjust myself.” Emma said.
” Shift closer.”
” What, I mean why.” Emma said but with a glare from Elliot, she immediately did as he said.
” Good.” Elliot said before putting on his headphone.
What is he trying to do. Emma thought.
While in Matilda and Liam seat, both were just shoting themselves deadly glares.
” Hey stop it now before I lose it, am still your senior yunno. Just remember that this is just for a while.” Liam said before Matilda gave him another glare.
“Listen up boy, who’s Amelia to you?” Matilda asked before Liam looked at her.
“Why asking.” Liam squinched his brows.
“Because that girl came to confronted me telling me to stay away from you, she literally thought I am dating you which is not ever possible.” Matilda said angrily.
“She told you that, well she is my fuck mate.” Liam said.
“What! Your fuck mate?” Matilda said while Liam looked at her in surprise.
Chapter 10 & 11 : First Meeting
“Fuck mate!”.
“Yes anything wrong or you would like to have the feeling of what is looks like huh.” Liam said before winked his eyes.
“Shut up and leave me alone.” Matilda said.
“You started the discussion.” Liam shrugged.
“Now am ending it, just stop or you won’t like it.” Matilda said with a serious face.
“Whatever.” Liam muttered.
Matilda brought out of her phone from her backpack and sent a message to Emma.
“Huh, what’s that?” Emma said when her phone beeped.
“Oh Matilda.” She said and started replying her.
📱: How are you coping with him. Matilda messaged.
📱: Just trying, common let’s go to the cafeteria. Emma typed back.
📱: We are having a class now, let’s wait.
📱: Okay then.
The teacher came in at that time. They greeted her and they commenced word.
<< Cafeteria>>
Some minutes later, the teacher left their class and Matilda and Emma went to the cafeteria.
“Oh thank God, like how on Earth will they asked us to seat together.” Emma said.
“Why should they even move to our class in the first place.” Matilda groaned.
Emma looked towards the entrance and saw the LEOS coming in.
“Here they comes.” Emma said before rolling her eye.
👥: Oh goodness, the LEOS are here.
👥: They’re going to murder us with their hotness one day.
👥: Is it only me or Liam is getting more handsome.
On hearing that, Liam stopped besides the girl and bent to her level.
“Meet me after school hours.” Liam whispered and that seems to send shivers down her spine.
The girl Immediately started blushing and smiling, while others girls envy her. Matilda just rolled her eyes at the whole scene.
“I think I have to stop coming here to witness all these.” Matilda muttered.
“I heard you, hey cutie. How does concerns you, just let them be.” Emma said.
“Whatever, do you have anything planned After school hours?” Matilda said ruffing her hair to the back.
“Umm, let’s see but I don’t know for now.” Emma said and Matilda nodded.
<>Some students sat down as the cheerleaders while some were playing the basketball.
LEOS came in too and sat down among the cheerleaders while Matilda and Emma too decided to join.
“Wow, didn’t know there’s a basketball court here.” Matilda said.
“Yes there is, come let’s a seat it’s about to begin.” Emma said.
The Students immediately started screaming some names as three boys entered the court.
👥: Wait, Ryan is back?
👥: That too, with his friends.
👥: Ryan looked extra hot this semester, I truly hope he notice me.
👥:Oh my God, Henry too is here.
👥: The two brothers are so handsome, Liam and Henry love them both.
All the murmurs just kept going on as Matilda stared at Henry for a while.
“He resembles someone I had seen.” Matilda said.
“Yes, he is Liam’s brother Henry.” Emma responded.
“Wow, he is nice. Is he also like his brother?” Matilda asked.
“Nope, there’s a big difference between them both and I love Henry a lot. As in, he is so cute.” Emma said dreamily.
“Hey hey, wake up already.” Matilda said snapping her finger while Emma smiled.
“Tell me the truth candy, don’t you have any crush on any on these handsome boys.” Emma said.
“Well candy sounds nice, I don’t crush. I don’t do love that easily.” Matilda said.
“Hmm, okay let’s concentrate.” Emma said smiling.
<>After some few hours, the match ended and Ryan and Henry’s team won.
Matilda was just trying to locate the restroom cause Emma had to attend to something. She then went into the male’s restroom.
“Oh am sorry, I didn’t realize it’s was the gent.” Matilda said upon sighting Henry washing his hand.
Henry stared at her for a few seconds, he was amazed by her dressing. How can a female wear a trouser, he then suddenly Liam’s words of telling him about the newbie tomboy.
“Are you the newbie tomboy?” Henry asked and she scoffed.
“Yes I am, am Matilda.” Matilda introduced.
“Henry, Henry Davies.” Henry introduced.
“Nice meeting you.”
“Same.”
“I will get going.” Matilda said and walk out of the room.
“She sounds nice.” Henry muttered before snapping out of his imaginations.
<< Closing hours>>
Matilda was going home when her mom’s call came in.
📞: Yes mom.
📞: I have a good News for you.
📞: What’s that?
📞: Come home first.
📞: On my way.
Matilda end the call and hasten her steps and soon started running home.
She got home and entered the house and met Lily and her mom in the sitting room.
“Mom what’s going on.” Matilda asked looking her mom to Lily who seems to try and hide her smile.
“We actually have a good news for you.” Mrs Millers said.
“What’s that.” Matilda asked.
“Finally I will be able to assist you my dear. I have the payment for Lily’s enrollment now and I got her uniform already.” Mrs Millers dropped the good news.
“What! Are you kidding me mom.” Matilda said happily.
“She is not, she showed me my uniform already. Am so happy Matilda.” Lily said hugging her.
“What, mom you..you did that. Thank you, thank you so much.” Matilda said.
“Don’t mention, I will do anything for my children.” Mrs Millers said.
“Thanks ma’am.” Lily said.
“Mom, Matilda.” Matilda’s little brother came in.
“Welcome dear, common let’s us go and eat.” Mrs Millers said.
<< Next morning~ Star bright High>>
Lily and Matilda arrived at the school and Lily marvelled at the sorroundings. They arrived at the Head’s office and they stopped.
“Wait here, I will be back soon.” Matilda said before going to her class and Lily nodded.
Lily was still waiting for Matilda when Liam appeared at her front and Lily shivered fearfully.
“Finally meeting the tomboy’s sister, seems you guys don’t look alike. Nice.” Liam said before smirking evily moving closer to her and Lily tried to move back. She was really scared within.
Chapter 12 & 13: My girlfriend
“Stay…stay away from me.” Lily said fearfully.
“Hey hey, am not going to hurt you promise.” Liam said acting all innocent.
Just then Matilda came in between, she had seen the entire scene that’s why she rushed there Immediately.
“What are you doing with her?” Matilda said angrily.
“Talking with her nothing else.” Liam said.
“Okay now go.” Matilda said.
“See you again Lily.” Liam waved before walking to class.
“You should avoid him anywhere you see him, anywhere you hear LEOS or see them avoid them. He is part of the LEOS.” Matilda said to Lily.
“Who are the LEOS?” Lily said.
“Let’s go first, then I’ll explain.” Matilda said as they both walked to the office.
After they have finished all the processing, Lily has officially become a student of Star bright High.
Matilda took her to her class because unfortunately they are not staying in the same class, Matilda went to her class after that.

As Matilda entered the class, her face set to frown when she saw Amelia on her seat beside Liam, she walked up to her.
“This is my seat.” Matilda said on reaching there.
“Excuse me, go find somewhere else to seat. You will come back when am done.” Amelia said still trying to flirt with Liam, who seems not to care, he was just busy with his phone.
“Stand up girl, this seat is mine.” Matilda said but Amelia paid deaf ear to her.
Matilda smirked before dragging her up roughly making her fall on her butts.
The students suddenly burst into laughter including Emma and Amelia stood up.
“Shut up you all, what do you think you are doing huh.” Amelia half yelled.
“I warned you though.” Matilda said before taking her seat.
Oliver came besides Liam and they started discussing about Which Matilda tried to listen to but to no avail.
“It’s really not good to poke nose you Know.” Oliver said startling Matilda.
“I wasn’t.” Matilda said facing her book and Oliver smiled which Liam noticed.
Why is he smiling at her. Liam said inwardly.
Oliver just continue to stare at Matilda cute face, he tried to control himself anytime Liam jolt him but he seems uncontrollable.
What the fvck is happening to me, shake it off Oliver. That’s never going to happen. Oliver said inwardly.
<>Lily was going back to her class from restroom when she bumped into someone.
“Oh am sorry, really sorry.” Lily apologized.
Steve faced upward to look at the cute voice he heard just now and his eyes met with none other than an angel in human form.
“Wow.” Steve muttered.
“Am sorry, can I go?” Lily said.
“Sure, am Steve nice meeting you.” Steve said strectching out his hand for a handshake.
“Lily, nice meeting you too.” Lily said collecting the handshake.
What the, heck, her hand is so soft. Steve said inwardly.
“Bye.” Lily said wanting to go but Steve held her arm.
“Can we be friends?” Steve said as politely as he could.
“Sorry, but I don’t make friends that so easily.” Lily said and he released her.
“Okay, see you again.” Steve said and she nodded before she Walk out.
“What the hell is this feeling, why is my heart beating fast?” Steve said to himself before smiling.
<< LEOS arena>>
Liam and Amelia were sitted with Amelia’s head on Liam’s shoulder.
“Liam, am h**ny.” Amelia pouted.
“Not in the mood.” Liam said concentrating on his phone.
“What, Liam. Why are you saying this, are you upset with me?” Amelia said.
“No.” Liam said.
“Then why, the Liam i I know would want to do this.” Amelia said.
“That because I have a girlfriend now.” Liam said, he then thought of what he just said.
What did I just say, me have a girlfriend? What the fvck. Liam said inwardly.
Amelia laughed before staring at his face.
“A Playboy, having a girlfriend? Bet it’s not real relationship.” Amelia said.
“It is, so we have to stop whatever we are doing.” Liam said.
“I don’t believe and I won’t believe until you show me who she is and the prove.” Amelia said.
What the, am in for it. Liam said inwardly.
“Sure, during lunch come to cafeteria, I will show you who she is.” Liam said before going out of the room.
“Am letting you show me who she is, so I can deal with her. No one can snatch away my Liam.” Amelia said angrily.
<>LEOS came in and as usual the admiring from the students which the LEOS enjoy every time. Steve eyes landed on Lily whom was sitting down with Matilda and Emma. He smiled and stared at her.
“So Lily nice meeting you.” Emma said and they shaked.
“Same here.” Lily smiled. And by just that smile alone, Steve’s heart fluttered.
“Such a beautiful smile.” Steve muttered.
“What’s that.” Elliot said.
“Uhmm, nothing.” Steve said.
“Okay.” Elliot suddenly looked at the other side and his eyes met with Emma and she quickly looked away while he smiled.
👥: Amelia is coming.
👥: My favourite, love her.
👥: But she act proud.
👥: She is here, stop talking.
Immediately, Liam saw this, he stood up and went to Matilda’s table and dragged her up.
“Hey, what are you doing?” Matilda half yelled.
Liam immediately hugged her and everyone’s eyes widened including Matilda and Amelia.
“Please do this for me, and act like my girlfriend please.” Liam said.
“What are you saying why should I do that?” Matilda whispered inhaling his great cologne.
“Please.” Liam whispered softly and she hugged him back slowly.
“Liam.” Amelia yelled and they released each other.
“What?” Liam shrugged off his shoulder.
“Why.. Why are you hugging her huh.” Amelia said almost crying.
“She is my girlfriend.” Liam said and everyone gasped in shock.
