Chapter 36 & 37 {Semi finale} : Apologies

Matilda and Liam settled back on their seat and they started eating.
“So tell how and what do you love about me?” Liam asked.
“Actually, I don’t even know I fell for you but I just realized I started feeling attracted towards you and my heart wouldn’t stop beating whenever you are around me.” Matilda said and Liam chuckled slightly.
“Girls are meant to fall anyways.” Liam said.
“Am not just some kind of girl okay? And what I love about you, I just love your aura and I don’t know.” Matilda said and brought her head down.
” That’s all, hmm.” Liam said.
“Yeah, so tell me what you love about me too.” Matilda said sitting upright.
“I love everything about you. Your vibes, your tomboy style, your kindness everything in essence.” Liam said.
“Thank you.” Matilda said.
<< A coffee shop>>
Emma came over because Elliot had asked her to meet him there.
“Elliot.” Emma waved to him before walking towards him.
“Hi, you look… gorgeous.” Elliot said looking at her dress.
She was putting on a pink dress that stopped above her knee. She added a short heel and some jewelry, she put on a slight make up and her cologne smells nice.
“Thanks, you look super handsome too.” Emma said before taking her seat.
“I always do anyways.” Elliot said brushing his hair to the back.
“Hey, do you mean I look ugly every time.” Emma said and pouted.
“Hey cutie, I didn’t mean that. If you weren’t looking beautiful as always I wouldn’t have fell for you.” Elliot said and she smiled.
“Thanks, so what are we doing.” Emma said looking around.
“It’s kinda a type of coffee date.” Elliot said and the waiter arrived with two cups of coffee but a love design was made on the tea for Emma.
“Wow, but why is mine different.” Emma said.
“Because you are different.” Elliot said and Emma just couldn’t stop herself from blushing so hard.
“I had that for you, it’s a love sign. So I love you.” Elliot said and Emma looked up at him.
“Huh?” Emma said.
“I love you a lot.” Elliot repeated and Emma blushed again.
“Same.” Emma said and Elliot frowned which she noticed.
“What!” Emma asked, she suddenly realized why he is frowning.
“Okay, calm down. I love you too.” Emma said and Elliot smiled immediately.
“Hmm, that’s it not same.” Elliot said as they continued discussing.
<< Davies Mansion~Lily’s room>>
Lily just finished reading two novels and she could swear she is already feeling bored.
She tried sleeping but it didn’t work. Just then, a knock came on the door and she urged the person to enter.
Her eyes widened when she saw who it was and she jumped from the bed Immediately.
“St.. Steve?” Lily stammered.
” Surprised to see me?” Steve said smiling as he walked towards her.
” What are you doing here and how did you enter.” Lily said almost like a whisper.
“Hey Don’t fidget, your brother let me in, nice bed.” Steve said as he sat on her soft and comfy bed.
Liam isn’t home, it’s could only be Henry.
” You mean, brother, Henry let you in? How did you introduced yourself.” Lily said.
“What else am I to you, your boyfriend of course.” Steve said and Lily’s eyes widened.
“What!, Boyfriend? You said that to Henry and what was his response.” Lily said sitting beside him.
“You know, he is actually a cool guy. He said he knows as he had seen us together countless times. We even chatted together before I came here.” Steve said.
” Wow, that’s really cool.” Lily said and she received a call that instance.
” Hey Scarlett?” Lily said to Scarlett over the phone.
“What’s up bestie.”
“Am good and you.”
” Great, wanna hang out tonight, it’s won’t take long.”
” Uhn, maybe next time. Am kinda busy.” Lily said and look at Steve Who is still busy admiring the room.

” Okay.” Steve said and they started gisting and talking about things.

Liam drove Matilda back to her place, she was about going in when Liam called her back.
” Matilda.” Liam said.
” What is it.”
” You are forgetting something.” Liam said and Matilda walked back to him.
” What’s that?” Matilda asked.
Liam knew she wouldn’t want to kiss him so he told her to peck her instead which she did before going in.
<< Next morning~ Miller’s residence>>
Mrs Mam.” Mr Miller briniller and Matilda’s brother were on the dining table eating already.
Matilda was just going to the dining table when a knock came on the door.
” I will get it.” Mrs Miller said and Matilda nodded.
Mrs Miller opened the door and was shocked by the person she met there.
” You?” Mrs Miller said.
” Who’s that mom.” Matilda said and came to check.
Her expression changed at that instance.
” Dad, what are you doing here.” Matilda said angrily.
Mr Miller came in fully and look at his son with a sad expression.
” I know you all have found out the truth about me, and I am sincerely sorry for that. I really ging down his head.
” Go apologize to the the Davies family.” Matilda said and Mr Miller glared at her.
Chapter 38-39-40 { Finale} : Love you forever
” What!” Mr Miller said.
” Can you do that. If you can, I personally will forgive you.” Matilda said looking sternly at her father.
An awkward silence took place right there as both daughter and mother glared at the father.
“I will go to school now.” Matilda’s brother said before leaving the room without glancing at his father.
“So tell me, I have an exam to write.” Matilda said folding her arms.
“I will do it.” Mr Miller said and they looked at him.
“What.. did you say.” Mrs Miller asked.
“I will do that, I will apologise to both of you and the Davies family, I promise.” Mr Miller said with a drop of tears which fell from his eyes.
“Are you sure, don’t make me look like a fool when I get there.” Matilda said.
“I swear I will, just want to be with my family now.” Mr Miller said.
” Then let’s go, mum you are coming with us.” Matilda said before leaving the room.
Mrs Miller glared at Mr Miller before leaving too, Mr Miller sigh and left too.
They board a cab and left for Davies Mansion. They were about to knock when Liam, Henry and Lily came out. They are going to school.
“Hello.” Matilda said.
“What’s happening?” Liam asked.
“Is your parents home, we will like to see you all.” Matilda said and Liam opened the door well for them to enter.
“Morning, Mr and Mrs Davies.” Matilda greeted.
” Mor…ning” Their expression changed when they saw Mr Miller. His head was kept downward.
” What’s he doing here.” Mrs Miller asked with an angry expression.
“He is here to apologise, and I think everyone deserves a second chance. Dad.” Matilda said indicating Mr Miller to go on.
With his hand folded.” Am sorry for whatever I have done, I am here today because I regret my actions. Please give me a second chance, I promise to kill all my bad behavior.” Mr Miller.
Mr Davies walked towards him, everyone was expecting the least to happen.
” Why are you apologising, it’s our fault not yours. We are the one that instructed you to do so, please we are sorry instead.” Mr Miller folding his hand.
” Yes we’re sorry instead, you just did what we instructed so no use apologising.” Mrs Miller added.
“Now that you have been forgiven, we forgive you too, right mom.” Matilda said looking at her mom.
” Yes, we have missed you anyways.” Mrs Miller said.
” Yes I have forgiven you too.” Lily screamed from where she was and they smiled.
” Thank you dear.” Mr Miller said smiling. He is really happy he got his family back.
They engulfed in a family hug before they started dispersing to their home. While Liam stopped Matilda.
” Hey gorgeous.” Liam said.
” What?” Matilda asked.
” So I can’t greet my girlfriend again, no problem.” Liam said faking anger.
” No no , I didn’t mean it that way.” Matilda said and he smiled.
” Miss you though.” Liam said and Matilda smiled.
“I miss you too.” Matilda said.
“Common, I will drive you to school.” Liam said.
“But the students will gossip.” Matilda said.
“Since when did Matilda start to care about what people says, I will proudly tell them you are mine and I know many students will be jealous.” Liam said.
“Okay then.” Matilda said and they both smiled.
They entered the car and drove off. Lily already went with Henry.

Liam entered the school compound, people started to admire him but that stopped when Matilda got down too.
👥: Oh my gosh, is that Matilda?
👥: Are they dating or what’s going on here
👥: I don’t understand a thing
Liam walked over to Matilda and held her hand, everyone couldn’t help but gasp.
” Okay, chill now everyone. To everyone who might be thinking otherwise. It’s actually what you are thinking about. We are officially dating, we are the latest couple in town guys.” Liam said to everyone surprise.

👥: What did he see in her. She is not pretty, way more pretty than her.
Liam heard this and walked to the girl who said with a furious expression.
The girl gulped down nothing, Matilda run to him trying to stop him.
” Say one more word against her, I swear this will be the last time you will be able to talk.” Liam said angrily.
” Am… Am so sorry, sorry tomboy.” The girl apologised.
” Let’s go already Liam. You have to prepare for your final exam.” Matilda said and dragged him away.
<< Classroom>>
They met their friends there and Matilda and Emma exchanged hug.
” Listen up everyone.” Liam started and all attention was on him.
He held Matilda’s hand and everyone started murmuring.
” Matilda and I are dating so I wouldn’t want a situation where I will have to break someone’s teeth regardless your gender if I hear a single word against her.” Liam said and Matilda looked up to him.
Their friends smiled and everyone looked at them in surprise.
People who supports them congratulate them while the people who didn’t ignore them.
” Thank you.” Matilda said.
“Anything for my queen.” Liam said and Elliot Chuckled.
“Since when did our playboy start to be romantic towards a girl, wow Matilda I must say your charm really worked well on him.” Elliot said and they laughed.
“She is not like other girl, so she has to receive special treatment. And besides you all should stop calling me a play boy. I stopped doing that long time.” Liam said.
“Since when is that?” Steve asked.
“Ummm,. I knew Matilda hate playboys so I had to quit.. because of her.” Liam said and Matilda smiled.
“So you fell a long before?” Matilda said and Liam nodded shyly and they laughed.
After some minutes, the bell was jingled. The exam started.
<< Two weeks later>>
They finished their exam, Liam and his friends were through with High school. While Matilda and Emma were in grade 12. Lily is in grade 10.
Scarlett immediately ran to Lily in happiness.
“Hey, what’s up, why so happy?” Lily asked.
“Am in love Lily.” Scarlett said smiling.
“Who’s that.” Lily asked and Scarlett showed her his picture.
” Prince from grade 11?” Lily asked with her eyes widened.
” Yes, he told me he Love me last week and we already started meeting. And swears I really love him. Oh I need to go now sorry.” Scarlett said.
” Am happy for you though.” Lily said and Scarlett smiled.
” Thanks.” She said before leaving.
“Ah I really miss you Steve.” Lily groaned before resting her head on her locker.
Just then someone tapped her, her eyes widened when she saw Steve.
“Steve?” Lily said.
“Are you doing anything?” Steve asked and Lily nodded negatively.
“Then come with me, I have really missed you.” Steve said as he dragged her with him.
Lily still can’t believe he came to school.
<< Elliot mansion>>
Elliot brought Emma to his house. Emma wanted them to get there before she ask why.
Elliot told her not to talk instead. They entered and they saw Elliot parents sitted.
Emma was surprised by the kind gestures they rendered her as if they knew her before.
That was when Elliot told her he had been telling them about her and shown them her pics.
Emma seems to like their vibes and they accepted her happily. They got along pretty well.
<< Unknown place>>
Liam called Matilda over, he had sent her a dress to wear too.
” You are here.” Liam said and Matilda walked closer.
” So why are we here and thanks for the dress.” Matilda said.
” You are welcome. I just have to tell you something important.” Liam said and Matilda squinched her brows.
“What’s that.”
” Matilda, I had been accepted to Oxford college.” Liam said and Matilda’s eyes widened.
” What! That’s place is way too far.”
“Don’t worry, we won’t lose contact. And besides I have had it planned up that when you are done with High school, I will prepare you to come meet me there, so chill.” Liam said and she smiled.
“Thank you, and for the meantime don’t you dare look at another girl.” Matilda said and Liam stood up and dragged her up too.
“It’s me and you forever okay? I won’t even dare to look at other girls.” Liam said and hugged her.
Matilda released the hug and cupped his face before slamming her lips on his. Liam began to reciprocate it too with him taking over this time.
Their tongue fought for dominance as they kissed. They end the kiss sometimes After.
” Thank you, I love you.” Matilda said.
“I will love you forever and ever, Thank you for coming into my life and I wish you cross my path again in the next life.” Liam said.
“I will.” Matilda said and they both laughed as they stared into each other eyes before hugging again.
