“Why did you make her angry ?” Lincoln frowned as he created a shield over himself and his mother.
The mist started to disappear, and Mia placed her hands together, and everywhere went silent. Vincent grinned as he knew what was going to happen . He sped out of there with Naomi in his arms.
Mia opened her hands, and a strong force was released blowing the mist away, and the sun was back shining bright.

“Mia,” Lincoln called as he ran towards her.

“The spell she used was too strong for her. She’ll wake up soon. She’s weak now,” Mrs Abigail said.

“At least she bought us time to leave before that monster return,” Mrs Abigail stood up, ready to start packing.
“We should have told him what Aurora did.”
“Tell him? It will make him more angry, and we would all die,” Mrs Abigail said.

Lincoln nodded as he carried Mia to her room and laid her gently on the bed.

Lincoln stood up and left the room to assist his mother.
Ronald was relieved the mist cleared up. Some vampires were enabled to escape while others didn’t.
He drove to their headquarters because he knew that a meeting would be held there after such an event.
On arriving, what Ronald saw shocked him.
The guards of the HQ (headquarters) were lying lifeless.
“Sh*t,” he cursed as he ran inside.
He saw more dead bodies, not even a single person was moving, he decided to go to Clinton’s office, and what he saw made him froze.
“Dad,” he called as he ran to Clinton.
“Ronald,” Clinton said in a low tone as he coughed.
“Who did this to you?” he gritted his teeth.
“That doesn’t matter now, just promise me you’ll keep your sister safe.”
“How can I do that? You know very well that no human can into his mansion unnoticed.”
“Just promise,” Clinton muttered.
“No, dad, you can be a vampire. That would make you stronger, and I’ll find blood for you. Please don’t do this.” Ronald tried collecting the dagger in Clinton’s hand.
“You don’t understand, it’s my fate, I made you a strong man, try to continue the legacy, recruit stronger men and don’t stop till you end him” Clinton smiled before stabbing himself.
“No!!!” Ronald screamed, crying.
He knelt in front of Clinton ash in grieve and anger.
“Vincent, you just crossed the line,” he sobbed as he stood up and exited the HQ.
VINCENT MANSION
Naomi slowly opened her eyes and found herself in another room. She stood from the bed slowly, when she remembered what had happened.
She rushed to the mirror to check her neck and saw no sign of his bite on her neck, and she still looked human.
“Thank goodness,” she heaved a sigh of relief.
“I see you’re awake,” she heard his cold voice from behind as she felt shiver run down her spine.
She wanted to greet him but didn’t know what the time was, so she remained silent with her head bowed.
“Take off your clothes and get on the bed,” he ordered with a blank expression.
‘What did I do wrong?’ Naomi thought, scared.
The way he looked made her not to dear disobey because at that moment, his expression was unreadable.
Her heart was racing as she took off her clothes and walked to the bed. She wished that what was happening was a dream and not reality, but unfortunately, it was reality.
He walked towards the bed as he also took off his shirt. He climbed the bed before undoing his belt.
Naomi could feel his lustful eyes on her. She felt like picking her clothes and running out of the room, but that would only make matters worse.
The lights of the room dimmed as he got under the duvet and spread her legs.

LATER THAT DAY 1 AM
The moon was up and shining, and at this time, everyone in the mansion was up except for Naomi, who was in another realm in her sleep.

“Bryan is In the kitchen, tell him to show you to another room, your door would be fixed by tomorrow” he said calmly to Naomi.
She nodded before walking out grinning.
“Let’s talk somewhere more scheduled” he turned and walked out of the room.
Aurora trailed behind him, thinking of ways to make him accept her back.
They got to a bar and Vincent took a seat so did Aurora.

She stood up and ran to Naomi’s room and badge in.
“Oh my gosh, Naomi” she gasped squatting besides Naomi who was unconscious.
The gas had already cleared the room when she came in.
“Someone, help” she shouted shaking Naomi.
“What’s going on ?” Bryan rushed in.
“I came in here and found her unconscious” Aurora said concerned.
“Why did you enter her room in the first place?” Bryan asked with suspicion as he squatted besides Naomi.
“I only wanted to ask her about relationship with Vin…” She froze as she heard his cold voice from behind.
“What’s the meaning of this?” He asked.
“Master, she said she found her like this when she entered inside” Bryan explained with his head bowed as usual.
“Check what’s wrong with her” he said to Bryan.
“And you follow me” he told Aurora before walking out.
” I hope she’ll be fine” Aurora stroke Naomi’s hair gently before she stood up and left.
“Why does she care all of a sudden?” Bryan creased his brow.
He jerked Naomi and took her out of the room
Vincent took Aurora to his room and stood staring at her blankly as the room was silence.
Aurora didn’t say a word to defend herself waiting for him to first speak and he did.
“You’re quite cunning” he shook his head.
“I knew you would blame me, can’t you just trust me for once ?, well I agree am the one who made her loose consciousness” Aurora said without stuttering even for once and her expression didn’t change.
“Hmmm” Vincent took a seat staring at her.
“You can go” he added.
“Please let’s talk” she said.
“Just do what I asked, there’s nothing to talk about” he replied bluntly.
“Okay” Aurora bit her lips as she played with her fingers existing the room.
‘He believed me’ she rejoiced inwardly as she walked to her room.
NEXT DAY
Naomi woke up and it turned out the gas didn’t harm her but made her unconscious.
She was currently in her room when Aurora came in again.
“What do you want this time?” Naomi frowned.
“I want you to keep your mouth shut” she smirked as she approached Naomi.
“What are you going to do ?” Naomi raised a brow.
“I’ll just tell you since you won’t even remember, I’ll hypnotise you” she grinned as she pulled Naomi and made sure they were both staring into each others eyes.
“Don’t remember what happened now and yesterday, if you are asked, say you forgot and say am nice to you and we are both friends” Aurora said in a hypnotic voice, before letting go of Naomi.
Immediately Klaus walked in and Aurora started acting.
“Are you sure you’re alright?” Aurora asked caressing Naomi’s back.
“Yes thanks for your concern” Naomi replied Aurora smiling.
“Huh ? You two are getting along?” Klaus looked at Aurora intensely.
“Yeah, I told you I mean no harm” Aurora replied.
“Wow, I’ll be right back” Klaus left immediately.
“I have to go too, bye” Aurora stood up and waved at Naomi before leaving.
“She’s so nice, unlike the first girl” she muttered referring the first girl to be Anita.
She stood up from the bed and went out lost in thought as the moment she and Vincent had was still replaying in her head when she bumped into someone.
“I’m so sorry ” she muttered staring at the new face.
“You the human girl I was hearing about, what’s your name?” Derrick asked.
“Naomi and you ?”.
“Derrick” he smiled.
“This is my first time seeing you here”.
“Yeah, I’m staying for just a while, I came yesterday” he explained.
“Oh” Naomi nodded and was about walking off.
“Wait” he grabbed her wrist, Naomi looked at her wrist then as him puzzled.
Ronald was seeing holding a meeting with some men, they were all professional vampire hunters and some knew Clinton.
“He killed Clinton and a lot of related family members “,
“Today marks his doomed, he kill innocent people and rob our country but that’s ends today” Ronald said and all of the men nodded in agreement.
“What’s the plan ?” One of them asked.
We’ll send two captive vampires with bombs attached to them, they are to get into the mansion before the bombs explodes, when that happens it’ll alert them but will give them zero time to prepare as we’ll attack immediately, I’m I clare” he asked and they all nodded.
The meeting continued and he gave further details before it ended and they all went to prepare.
“War he asked for, war he shall get” Ronald gritted his teeth as he also went to prepare.
Derrick hypnotised Naomi and took her to the room he was given.
“This is gonna be fun” he smirked as he kissed her roughly.
Naomi responded to his touches since she was hypothesized and when he was about pulling off her clothes the mansion vibrated.
“Sh*t” he cursed as the walls started falling.
He ran out of the room leaving Naomi standing there not in her right sences.
