Episode 36 : Personal and Professional Success
He blinked his eyes severally as he looked at her in shock then he let out a nervous smile.
“You’re…. You’re kidding right?” He said,Sonia frown at him.
“Were you also kidding when I found you cheating?” She snorted.
“We can’t divorce, we are not going to divorce, it hasn’t gotten to that” he said painfully.
“It has gotten to that,I want a divorce and it final”she said firmly.
” you can’t do this to me,look Sonia I love you so much please, don’t divorce me”he pleaded.
“I’ll be sending my lawyer to you soon,be expecting the divorce paper soon” she told him,Adrien saw that she was not joking.
“I’m not going to give you a divorce, I won’t sigh the papers” he said angrily.
“Then I’ll tell my lawyer to sue you,I’m damn serious about it Adrien” she said before going into her car and then drove off.
“Sonia! Sonia!!”
He called her and then watched her car leaving his sight.
Sonia wiped as she kept driving, that was the best for the both of them,since he cheated on her with Monica and then got her pregnant makes it more better for the both of them to go their separate ways.
She knew it was going to be so hard for her but she felt so heartbroken.
“Bring two more bottles” Adrien shouted at the bar man.
He had taken four bottles of alcohol and now he looked so drunk.
The bar man placed two bottles in front of him,he quickly open in then drank directly from it.
He picked his phone and then tried calling Sonia but she was not picking his calls,he felt so sad, he wanted to talk to her.
“Sonia you can’t divorce me,please my love ” he whispers while tears rushed out of his eyes.
He kept calling her but she refused to pick up,he felt so wasted and frustrated, how come he ended up like this? Earlier he was with his family they were living he life full of peace and love until Monica came and destroy it.
“That bitch!….I hate Monica so much,she’s a witch” he yelled causing the other customers to look at him but he did not care.
“Why can’t she just let me be in peace, doesn’t she know that I don’t love her,I love Sonia, it’s Sonia I love not Monica”he kept talking to himself
” Sonia doesn’t want to talk to me anymore, she hates me so much and now she wants a divorce ,and it’s all Monica’s fault, that witch”he said angrily.
He slowly looked around the bar and then felt tired of it then he stood to leave.
He paid off his bills and the staggered out of the bar,he kept muttering so words to himself.
He sat in his car,started the car and then placed his shaking hands on the steeling wheel, his vision was becoming blurring but he guess he could still manage to get himself back home.
He drove out into the express,he felt to dizzy, the alcohol was beginning to take in his system, he tried to keep his eyes open but he felt like sleeping, forgetting that he was still driving he rested his head on the steeling wheel.
Without noticing the traffic light he drove carelessly and then a big van hit his car out of the road, it gave it a huge Summersault.
(DIAMOND HOSPITAL)
Sonia rushed into the hospital with Angela in tears,not quite long she went to the office after coming back from Jayden school she got a call that Adrien got involved in a car accident.
He was fine when last spoke to him so how come he got involved in an accident?
“Pleas I’ll like to see my husband, he had an accident he was brought in not quite long” Sonia said to the receptionist.
“Please what’s you husband’s name”.
“His name is …….”.
“My husband’s name is Adrien Martin, I’m his wife”.
Sonia turned to see Monica.
“Monica? What hell are you doing here?” Sonia asked angrily.
“I’m here to see Adrien”.
“And how is he your husband then?” Angela asked her angrily.
“I don’t have your time, please nurse can you show me the way to go see my husband” Monica ignored Sonia.
“We need to teach this lady some lesson” Angela muttered, before any could understand what she was say she landed two hot slap on Monica’s face.
“Ahhh!!” Monica held her face as she looked at Angela who was ready to give her another slap.
Episode 37 : A Stronger Bond
“How dare you slap me?” Monica said furiously.
“I’ll slap you over and over again if you don’t shut up you bitch” Angela shouted at her.
“Aren’t you suppose to be ashamed of yourself, after the friendship bond you and Sonia shared you still had the audacity to show this your disgusting face”Angela said,Monica laughed.
” and who are you to tell me who is my friend you’re just a slave…. “
Monica could not finish her statement because Angela shut her up with a slap.
“How dare you? I’m far better than you,after all I’m not a bitch as you” Angela said angrily.
“Enough Angela… Stop it” Sonia quickly hold Angela.
“Please Sonia allow teach this girl some lesson” Angela said impatiently.
“You don’t have to hit her,she’s pregnant”.
“And who cares” Angela muttered under her breath,all she wanted was to have a fight with Monica, how dare she show her face,she even came boldly.
“I only came here to see my Adrien and not to exchange any words with you” Monica said .
Sonia looked at Monica.
“Why would come here? What business do you have here? You are only here to cause trouble isn’t it?” Sonia asked.
“You don’t have the right to be here Monica”.
“I have all the right to be here,remember am carry his child” Monica said while rubbing her belly with a smirk on her face.
Sonia chuckles dryly.
“That still doesn’t gives you right to be here, you’re neither his wife,I’m his wife,his legal wife,you’re just the other woman,you’ll always be the other woman okey” Sonia said with her chin up and her hands folded around her chest,Monica looked at her so angry,what did she just call her? The other woman?
“I’ll advice you to leave and stop embarrassing yourself Monica” Sonia said.
“Yes leave Monica” Angela added.
Monica looked at them for a while the stumbled her foot angrily before leaving.
Immediately she left the doctor came.
“Are you Mr Adrien’s wife?” The doctor asked.
“Yes I’m his wife,please how is he doing?” Sonia asked worriedly.
“He’s actually fine now,he is out of danger” he said,Sonia sighed in relief, she felt happy to know that he was out of danger,although she was really up set with him but never wanted any harm on him.
“Can I see him?” Sonia asked.
“Yes,but you alone will have to come with me” he said.
“Sonia go ahead I’ll just wait here for you” Angela said with a smile.
“Thank you Angela” Sonia pecked her on the cheek before following the doctor.
They both walked into the ward,Sonia sighted Adrien on the bed,he was unconscious and he had a bandage wrapped around his head and his left leg,his face was so pale and he looked so weak,Sonia felt so heartbroken to see him like that, in fact she had tears in her eyes as she looked at him
“He will up be up soon,we actually found out that he was as drunk while driving which would have lead him to get into a car accident” the doctor said.
“What?he was drunk?” She asked in surprise, Adrien has never gotten drunk since she ever knew him,how come he had to get himself drunk this much to cost him to into an accident.
“He is lucky he didn’t get internal bleeding, he only had scratch on the forehead but the only problem is his leg,his ankle got broken and he may not be able to use it properly for a while,he will be needing the support of a clutches” the doctor said.
“As his wife you’re most likely to be helpful in this type of situation, he would be needing your help now that he won’t be able to used s his leg properly,you will have to assist him at home and also bring him over to the hospital for check ups”he said.
Sonia frown slightly, does that means he going back to staying with her in the same House?
Is this some kind of joke?
After after a brief thought about it she finally agree to assist in his treatment,
” he will be discharge in two days time “the doctor said before leaving.
Sonia sat next to Adrien and the studied his handsome face which look pale.
She lifted her hand to touch his face but she stopped immediately, she placed her hand down, wondering what she wanted to do.
” what’s really happening to us?first it was Jayden having a first in school and now you,oh God what is happening to my family “she weep with her head bow.
” Sonia… “.
She heard Adrien soft voice calling her,she lifted her head to found him already awake,
“Adrien” she whispers with a smile but she later gave out a frown.
“Why did you get so drunk?do want to kill yourself” she said looking so angry, Adrien smiled weakly at her.
“I’m sorry….i .I was too depressed…” He whispers slowly.
“That was not an excuse, you would have died did you know that, and look you broken your leg” she said pointing to his leg
“And now the doctor is asking me to take care of you which means you will be coming back home which I will never accept, you can stat over at bobby’s place, he can take care of you” she said,Adrien face quickly brighten up.
“Hmmm really…Bobby traveled some days ago I’ll be the only one at home.
Episode 38 : Seeking Forgiveness
“……I’ll be left all alone at home, I don’t think I’ll be able to manage” Adrien continued.
“How is that my business? Is not like you are a baby I’m sure you could take care of yourself” Sonia snorted
“Sonia please, help me I can’t be alone in this condition” Adrien pleaded, Sonia looked at him
” was this your plan?”she asked.
“What do you mean?”
“I’m sure you must have plan all this so you could figure out a way to come home,isn’t it” she said,Adrien sighed.
“This is so unbelievable Sonia, I never believe you lost so much trust in me that you would think I would want to take my own life just to gain back your trust, I still want to live,I don’t wanna die,I wanna spend the rest of my life with you Sonia” he said as he looked deeply into her eyes.
“Please Sonia, allow stay with you in the house,I promise not to bother you and I’ll leave as soon as I get well,I promise” he said while placing his hand on hers,she looked at their hands and slowly disengage from him.
“Fine,you can come back home, but you’ll only stay for two weeks,you get it” sha said firmly.
“Yes,thank you Sonia” he said with a smile.
She stood up and went out of the room,Adrien smiled widely as the thought of going back home to spend time with his family played on his mind,he guess this accident was God’s plan and he liked it.
(Two days later)
After Adrien was discharge from the hospital, Sonia drove him back home,she felt like she was doing the wrong thing but her heart kept telling her she was doing the right.
“Careful” she said as she held Adrien helping him out of the car backseat, Adrien wrapped one arm around her shoulder and the other hand was holding a clutches,he had a bright smile as he held her close to himself.
“Daddy!”
Jayden rushed towards Adrien for a hug.
“Hey junior”.
“Daddy you are back,I miss you a lot”.
“So do I,I miss you too junior”.
They both disengage from the hug.
“Mummy said you got into accident, you must be hurt isn’t it” Jayden said as he scanned his father head to toe,Adrien gave him a warm smile.
“Yes junior, but daddy is a strong man,I’ll get well soon” he said ,immediately they got into the house,grandma rushed towards Adrien, she embraced him warmly.
“Adrien how are you, I hope you’re okey? I hope you’re not hurt” she asked worriedly.
Adrien rested his head on her shoulder, he missed his grandmother a lot.
“Grandma I’m fine,I miss you so much grandma” he mumbled.
“I miss you too son”grandma said while pat his head gently.
” grandma, Adrien needs to rest now”Sonia said,she was beginning to feel unease as she watched them being too emotional in her present.
“Sure, take him to his room to rest,I’ll be in the kitchen to prepare dinner” Grandma said.
Immediately grandma left,Sonia told Adrien.
“You’re staying in the guest room”.
Adrien was actually expecting her to say that.
“Okey” he simply said, he does not want to argue with her so she won’t get upset and send him away.
“Please Sonia, can you help me to the room, I can’t Climb the stairs alone” he pleaded,Sonia sighed tiredly.
“Fine” she mumbled.
Then she placed his hand on her shoulder and then helped him to climb the stairs carefully, Adrien smiled as he watched Sonia, he could see that she still cares for him even if she’s still upset with him.
As soon as they got into the room, Sonia slowly helped him sit on the bed,she wanted to disengage from him but unfortunately her necklace hooked his shirt,she lost her balance and then fell on him .
She lifted her head and then found him starring passionately at her.
Episode 39 : Healing Old Wounds
They both held themselves in each other arms,starring at each other,lost in their own thoughts,Sonia finally blinked her eyes then she quickly stood up from his body.
She adjusted her dress while he also sat up,she almost kissed him,how embarrassing.
“I…I hope I did not hurt you” she said.
“No I’m good”.
“I’ll leave you to rest now,I’ll bring your food over once dinner is ready” she said while he gave out a nod,she rushed out if the room.
He had a smile on his face as he watched her leaving the room, goodness! They almost kissed,he missed her a lot,he missed her kisses, her touch,her smile,her sweet words,he missed everything about her.
He wish he has listen to Bobby, maybe if he has tell her everything by himself maybe she would have understand him,things wouldn’t have gotten messed up.
Not quite long Bobby called him.
“I’ll be back first thing tomorrow morning, I’m sure you must be all alone” Bobby said worriedly.
“There is no need for that,I’m at home with my family” Adrien said.
“Really? You mean you and Sonia have reconcile” Bobby asked.
“No,the doctor asked her to stay with her so she could assist me since I broke my leg”Adrien explained.
” oh I see”.
“It wasn’t easy to convince her though, but I’m really happy to be here with my family, I miss them so much,I can see through her eyes that Sonia still cares for me but she’s doesn’t want to show it” Adrien said,Bobby smile.
“I hope you can use this thing opportunity to gain her forgiveness,I’m sure you get what I mean” Bobby said.
“You just read my mind,I’m ready to do what I can to get my wife back,I can’t wait for the day the truth will be out and then we can be together again as a family” Adrien said.
(The next day)
Adrien watched Sonia dressing his head bandage, she was being so careful on him,they were both quite non of them saying anything to each other before Jayden rushed into the room.
“Jayden what are you doing here,ain’t you suppose to be sleeping, you’re going to school tomorrow” Sonia said.
“I want to sleep with daddy tonight” he pouted his lips cutely.
“No you can’t, daddy needs to rest without anyone disturbing him” Sonia declined.
“But I really want to sleep here….”
“No Jayden, you can’t….”
“Let him spend the night here with me Sonia” Adrien said,she looked at him.
“But….”
“Don’t worry,I’ll be fine”.
Without waiting for her reply Jayden jumped on the bed happily,Sonia gazed at him.
“Alright goodnight” she pecked Jayden in the head,he held her hand.
“Mummy, can you please sleep with us here tonight, I want the both of you to read me a bed time story please” Jayden said.
Adrien and Sonia looked at each other in surprise.
“Jay,I can’t stay here I need to go to my room to sleep” she said nervously.
“No mummy, why is it that you and daddy are both sleeping in different room?” Jayden asked curiously, Adrien smiled and caress his cheek
“Mummy is only trying to make me comfortable since I’m not feeling well that’s the resin why I’m sleeping in other room” Adrien lied at hen he look at Sonia.
“Really”
“Yes,so I can’t sleep here,okey” Sonia snorted.
“But I want us to sleep together, even if it’s just for tonight, please mummy” Jayden pleaded until Sonia had to reluctantly agree.
She lay next to Jayden and then he gave Adrien a storybook for him to read.
Adrien smiled as he looked at the storybook Jayden gave him to read.
“You still want me to read you a bedtime story junior?” He asked.
“Yes daddy,hurry up” Jayden said excitedly as he felt happy to have his parent beside him.
“Ok….once up on a time in a far away village, there lived a beautiful princess who lived with so many maids and guards….”
“You’re being to fast,that’s not the way to reads bedtime story” Sonia interrupted him.
“But I’m trying my best here”.
“Let me read it,he won’t fall a sleep if you continue” she took the book the from him then she began to read it, she got do engrossed while reading while Adrien fixed his eyes on her,she looked so beautiful and peaceful as she was carried away while reading.
“……and they lived happily ever after, the end” she said then turned to look at Jayden, he was already asleep,she smiled and then looked at Adrien just to find him starring at her,she felt kind of shy all of a sudden and she wonder why,she made to move but little Jayden held their hand join together.
Episode 40 : Overcoming All Odds
Sonia slowly took her hand from him and then stood up from the bed.
“He has finally fallen asleep” she whispers.
“Where are you?” He asked when he saw her going to the door.
“I’m going to my room of course” she replied.
“But I thought you promise jayden you will be sleeping here tonight” he said while standing up from the bed as well.
“I can’t sleep here,you also know why I can’t stay here” she said then turn to leave but he pulled her back allowing their bodies clenched to each other.
“Sonia you don’t have to let our misunderstanding get to our child’s way,he will be happy if you spend the night here” he said,she tried to release from his hold but he held her really tight.
“That can’t be possible, I can’t imagine myself sleeping next to you,we can’t be normal couples Adrien and it’s all your fault don’t blame me” she whispers furiously, Adrien smiled weakly at her as he stared deeply into her silver eyes.
“I know you don’t believe, I know I tried to prove myself right to you but you don’t wanna believe me,but there’s one thing you need to know is that I won’t stop proving myself right Sonia, I’ll make sure I prove my innocence to you” he whispers into her ear as he pulled her so close to his body.
Sonia slowly closed her eyes as she Shivered to his warm breath on her skin,she missed his touch a lot, she missed the way he always hold her in his arms.
God! Is he seducing her or what?what is he doing to her right now?
“Please….. Let me go” she whispers slowly.
He brought his face closer to hers,the tip of their nose touching each other,Adrien could not bear it anymore as the urge to kiss her filled him.
Finally he slammed his lips on hers,she moan out softly,she could could not hold it anymore as she slowly open her mouth and invited him in,their lips making cute sounds,Adrien titled his head to the side while he deepen the kiss.
‘This is not right’ Sonia screamed within.
But she was so powerless, she could not defend herself anymore, she missed him so much,she missed his warm and tender lips,she wrapped her hands around his neck while she pulled him more closer as they kept on kissing each other.
“Mmm Adrien” she moaned into his mouth, Adrien did not stop what he was doing, they forgot Jayden was still in the room.
“St..stop..stop” she kept on moaning helplessly, but Adrien was so determined to kiss the hell out of his wife.
But then the door bell rang and then Sonia senses came back to her immediately, she pushed him away which caused them to break roughly from the kiss.
“Please stop it” she said while she was trying to catch her breath, Adrien looked at her flushed face .
“Someone is at the door,I need to go check up who is that” she said then quickly rushed out of the room.
“Damn it” he said furiously while he brushed his fingers into his hair,when he thought he was almost making out with his wife someone had to interrupt him.
Who the hell was that anyway? He open the door then went to check himself.
Sonia came out of the room looking so flushed, like while the hell did she allow him kiss her,they kissed so hard that she almost fell for him,how can she be so foolish?
Thank God they were interrupted, and she wonder who was at the door at thus hour.
She got to the door and then slowly open it,she let out a frown when she saw who was standing at her door.
“Monica? What the hell are you doing here!” Sonia asked angrily.
“Where is Adrien? I’m here to see him” Monica said as she tried to walk in but Sonia pushed her back.
“Don’t you dare come in,why will you come to my house at this hour just to see Adrien, are you crazy or what?”
“You chased me away from the hospital when I wanted to see him and now you’re still doing the same thing,can you just get the hell out of my way and allow me see my Adrien” Monica yelled.
“This is my house and I choose who comes in and goes out,if you want to see your Adrien or whatever you can call him yourself so you both could meet at your usual spot, I jus don’t wanna see you around my house, you disgust me a lot” Sonia said angrily.
“This is also Adrien’s house,and I’m here with my baby just to see it’s father,so you better allow me in” Monica said,Sonia laughed.
“I can see you’re so proud to flaunt your bastard”.
“Don’t you dare….”
“Monica what are you doing here?”
They both heard Adrien’s voice.
“Oh baby, I came here to see you both Sonia doesn’t want me to see you, I heard that you had an accident, baby I was so worried about you” Monica pushed Sonia then finally went in to met Adrien. Sonia rolled her eyes.
“Oh you have special visitor Adrien, I’ll leave you two to talk while I go upstairs to my room,goodnight” Sonia said then walked pass them
“Sonia.. Please wait” Adrien called her but she did not even spare him a glance, she is angry again and thanks to Monica, he turned to look at Monica with angry written on his face.

Episode 41 : Standing by Sonia
“How dare you”
Adrien looked at Monica so angrily, he felt like strangling her at the moment.
“Why are you here? Who asked you to come over?”he asked.
” what do you mean by that?I’m here to see you of course, when I heard you got involve in an accident I got so scared, I came to the hospital but that Sonia chased me away”she said as she tried to touch him but he moved backward.
“Monica you have to leave,your present always cause trouble and I don’t want trouble tonight, you came at the wrong time” he said through gritted teeth, she scoffed.
“Really”
“Yes,so please leave”
“You know I’m carrying your child so I have all right to see you whenever I want”.
“Look I accept the child but you have to know that I’m still a married man and you have some limit to get close to me” he said.
“But honey I…..”
“Monica leave right now, if you don’t leave I might do something worst you won’t like,remember you’re pregnant” he warned, she could see that he was serious.
“Fine, I’ll leave” she mumbled sadly, she gave him a quick peek before leaving, Adrien sighed in frustration and then went back to his room,Sonia was not in the room, she must have get upset and then decided to stay in their master bedroom.
He lay next to Jayden, he covered him properly with the duvet,Jayden curled into his arms while they held each other,he wish Sonia was here with them,he felt like holding her so tight in his arms,he could not wait for the day all this will be over and then he will have his family back again.
(Two weeks later)
Monica sat in her office she was busy with some files when her door went widely open.
“Susan didn’t I ask you not to disturb me,I’m really busy here” she said without lifting her head.
“Are you that busy to see me ?” a male voice said,she quickly lifted her head and then gasped.
“Max?”
“Hello Monica”.
“Max,why..why are you here?” She asked while standing up from her seat looking so surprise, he smiled at her.
“You look so surprise to see Monica, you’re suppose to be expecting me,isn’t it?” He smirk, she looked frighten.
“We are not suppose to be seeing each other remember” she snapped at him,he chuckles and then dipped his hands into his pocket.
“Yeah you’re right,but I’m here to claim my right” he said.
“What right are you talking about?” She asked.
“You know what I’m talking about Monica”
She frown.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about Maxwell” she said angrily at him.he chuckles again.
“Ok since you wanna play ignorant then I’m gonna tell you” he said as he slowly walked closer to her and then stopped right in front of her.
“I’m here to claim my child in your womb Monica” he said in a huskily voice.
“What?” She gasped.
“What..what child are you talking about” she asked in a shaking voice, max frown at her.
“My child in your womb of course, I know you’re pregnant and the baby is mine” he said.
“No..the baby is not yours but Adrien’s”.
Max burst into laughter.
“Who are you deceiving, Monica my dear,we both know this baby is mine,so don’t bother lying to me okey” he said and then sat on her chair with a mischievous smile on his face.
Monica was looking so frightened.
“This baby belongs to Adrien so stop saying rubbish” she yelled at him.
“Hey don’t yell at me or do you want your secret to be exposed” he shouted at her which made her flinched in fright.
He paused for a while and the looked at her.
“You look so scared,or do you want me to refresh your tiny brain on how we deceived Adrien at the hotel few weeks ago?” He snorted.
Episode 42 : A New Path
(FLASHBACK AT CITY HOTEL)
Adrien held Monica so tight as he kissed her uncontrollable, he kept on muttering Sonia’s name which annoy Monica but she does not want to ruin the moment,all she wanted was to make sweet love to him.
Adrien kept kissing her and also caress her laps causing her to moan out,her mind went out of her head, but suddenly he stopped kissing her then he looked at her face while a frown appeared on his face.
“You…you’re not Sonia, you’re not my Sonia” he muttered and then he roll off her and then lay on the bed heavily.
“No..no don’t stop Adrien, come over here,what has Sonia got to do with this?” She said angrily,
“Get your hands off me” he whispers and then slapped her hands off him then immediately he slept off.
“Hey wake up Adrien, Adrien” she yelled at him but he has already slept off.
“Oh no what am I going to do?after all my hard work just to get him to sleep with me,I’m sure I asked the waiter to insert a sexual pill into his drink not a sleeping pill” she lamented angrily as she watched him sleeping.
“I know what to do,tonight can’t just go to waste” she said then she strip them naked and then took pictures and videos of them together,she looked at the pictures and smiled.
(Few days later)
Monica was in her car she was heading to the office when she got a video message on her phone,she let out a gasps when she watched the video sent to her.
It was a video of her bribing a waiter to drug Adrien’s wine.
“Who the hell sent this?” She asked no one in particular. Not quite long max call came through she ignored it but he kept on calling, damn it! What the hell does he want? She was not in the mood to talk to him.
Finally she picked up the call.
“Yes,what do you want?”she asked rudely.
” hey honey,did you see the video I sent to you? “He asked.
” what…..it was you? “She asked in shook.
” of course honey, how do you like it?”he snorted, Monica hands began to shake,she was so shook to know it was max who sent her the video.
“How did you get that video Maxwell” she asked, she heard him chuckles.
“I’m smart baby girl, you don’t need to know how I get the video all you need to be worried about is that your secret is being leaked out” he said, she swallowed hard.
“Max what do you want?” She asked angrily trying not yell at him.
“Meet me up at my place”.
“I’m not coming”.
“Really? Are you still gonna act stubborn? Come on baby,you don’t have to do that,it will be better for you to obey me at thus point for your on good, I want you at my place this evening, don’t keep me waiting” he said then hung up.
“Damn it” she yelled.
“Ma’am are you okey” her driver asked.
“Shut up and drive” she yelled at him.
She felt like screaming, oh no! Max already know her secret, and now she wonder what is in store for her now
She walked into Max’s house with a straight face and then she meet him seating on a couch with a wine in his hand.
“I’m here” she said ,he smiled at her and the slowly dropped the cup on a stool next to him.
“You’re welcome baby” he said.
“What do you want” she snapped at him.
“I need money”.

“Why are you so naive?after showing you that video you still wanna play ignorant? Come on Monica” he stopped right in front of her,she paused as she looked at him.
“Wait a second, are you blackmailing me?” She asked.
“Exactly” he said.
“You can’t…. You can’t do that, I’m not gonna fall for it”.
“But you can also blackmail Adrien right? Poor thing believed you,you’re planning to ruin his marriage how ridiculous Monica, but let me tell you tell you something, your secret is now with me,if you still care to keep it safe then don’t mess with me” he said looking so furious.
“Fine” she said helplessly ” how much do you want”.

“I’ll send it to you” she said firmly and then turned to leave but he pulled her back wrapping his hand around her waist.
Episode 43 : The Power of Love
“Who asked you to leave? I’m not done with you” max said still holding her really tight by the waist.
“Am done with you,I said I’m gonna send the money to you what else do you want ?” She said while trying to release herself from his grip.
“Yes I heard when you said that but there is one more thing you need to do before leaving” he said.
“What is that?” She asked confusedly.
“I wanna make love to you” he whispers into her ear.
“What? You’re kidding right? You know we can’t do that” she snapped at him.
“Yes we can,I remember how damn horny you were when you drugged Adrien, poor thing he didn’t give you what you want but guess what?I’m right here to satisfy your need” he whispers seductively.
She swallow hard,he was right the was so horny after that night she drugged Adrien but the fool didn’t make out with her,and now max is putting more salt to her wound,she just pray she does not fall into this temptation.

“I need proof too you know,I know I’m the biological father of the baby but I knew if I confronted you you’re gonna argue with me so I needed evidence” he said.
She read the paper and it shows he is truly the biological father of their unborn baby.
“Max,I paid you off remember so what else do you want,I don’t want you here” she said.
He stood up and then stroll to her side.
“I know you paid me off but you just can’t trust human,we can promise and fail there’s nothing new in that, seeing you’re carrying my child makes me so fulfilled” he said.
“I want us to get marry” he blew the bombshell, she gasped.
“What?”
“Yes,let’s get married”.
She moved backward as she looked at him so startled.
“You are kidding right? That’s never going to happen, I’m not marrying you Maxwell” she yelled at him.
“Then you’re wanna see the other side of me Monica, I’m gonna ruin you if don’t obey my needs,I’m gonna make you loose your love ones and that include your beloved father” he told her,Monica did not know when tears rushed out of her eyes.
“No you can’t do that” she cried.
“Yes I will and I’m not joking” he said huskily.
“You’re such a coward” she said,he laughed.
“We are both cowards baby” he said.
And then he walked to the door then he stopped to look at her.
“I don’t think you love Adrien as you seems to claim if not you wouldn’t have have slept with me,you’re just stupidly obsess with him,you lost your good friend just for a man and you’re gonna regret it,I’m only going to give you a week to think about my proposal and then get back at me,don’t keep me waiting” he said afterwards and the left.
Monica burst into tears,oh goodness she’s doomed, she is really doomed.
Sonia watched as Adrien and Jayden were play at the sitting room,it’s been a week since he had staying in the house after his accident and the house seems to be a little bit lively, just that the both of them are not as they use to be.

Then the door bell rang,she rushed to go and get and the the she meet her father standing at the door.
“Hey dad” she embraced him warmly.
“I didn’t know you will be coming over” she said as she walked him in.
“Granddaddy” Jayden sighted him and then rushed to hug him. Adrien stood up and then looked at Lucas who frowned immediately he saw Adrien.
“What is he still doing here?” Lucas asked Sonia huskily as he looked at Adrien.
Episode 44 : Monica’s Reflection
“What the hell are you still doing here Adrien?” Lucas asked furiously.
“Good…good day sir” Adrien stammered.
“Who asked you to greet me?” Lucas asked harshly.
“Dad please, Jayden go to your room now, grandpa and I need to talk okey” Sonia quickly dismissed Jayden to his room.
She turned to look at her father and then found him glaring at Adrien who has his head bow.
“I thought he left or is he still using his so called injury as an excuse to stay” Lucas snorted.
“Dad you don’t have to do this…..”.
“Looking at his face now makes me so angry, Sonia how do you manage to stay with him after he cheated on you? He does not deserve one bit of your sympathy at all” Lucas continued.
Adrien lifted his head to look at Lucas.
“Father I…..”.
“Don’t you dare call me that,I’m not your father,you’ve lost the right to call me that” Lucas shun him,Adrien swallowed sadly.
“Mr Lucas,I know that there is nothing I’m gonna tell you that you’re going to believe me but I want you to know that I’m innocent…”
“Oh save me those lectures Adrien, who is going to believe that,there are evidence of you cheating on my daughter,how dare you do such a thing to her,you know I never liked you from the start, I only accepted you because of Sonia, she showed how much she truly love you but you went ahead to cheat in her nor just with anyone but her best friend, you’re such an idiot” Lucas yelled at him then he landed a slap on Adrien’s face.
“Daddy…..” Sonia stood right in front of her father with tears in her eyes.
“Oh Sonia allow me talk some sense into his head”.
Adrien stood quietly as he received insult from his father in law.
“You don’t deserve my daughter Adrien, I want the both of you to get divorce……”
“Dad enough!” Sonia shouted at Lucas who paused to look at her.
“I said enough, please stop talking,I won’t allow you to come into my house to insult my husband” she yelled at him,Lucas looked so surprise even Adrien as well looked shocked .

“Sonia are you defending him?” Lucas asked.
“No I’m not,but I’m trying to state out the fact, you shouldn’t get involve in couples matter dad, it’s really bad” she said.
“If are here to insult Adrien then I’ll beg you to leave dad” she said without looking at him,Lucas looked startled.
“Are you sending me away Sonia” Lucas asked.
“I’m sorry dad” she muttered quietly, Lucas heaved a sigh before looking at Adrien.
“My daughter is sending me away all because of you,it’s fine I’ll leave,but I want you to know that you will regret this Adrien” he said before storming out of the house.
Sonia stood still while tears rushed out of her eyes, she just yelled at her father all because of Adrien,does he even deserve it after what he did to her?
Adrien on the other hand was really surprise as he watched Sonia trying to defend him in front of her Father, he never expected her to do such a thing.
“Sonia you didn’t have to do that,he is your father you don’t have to send him away” he said quietly,she turned to look at him.
“Yes I shouldn’t have sent him away but you instead” she said huskily.
“Don’t think I was trying to defend you,I only wanted peace not argument” she paused.
“I want you to leave first thing tomorrow morning, you’ve stay here enough, it’s time for you to leave” she said and then went upstairs leaving Adrien in an emotional state.
Monica sat in the sitting room, she looked so moody.
“Ma’am lunch is ready” one of the maid told her.
“I’m not hungry” she muttered without looking at her.
“Why have you been refusing your food Monica” she heard her father saying as he descend from the stairs,the maid left immediately.
“I don’t feel like eating dad” she told him, she has been so said after max came to meet her at the office, Richard sat next to her and then thong her hair behind her ear.
“What us it Monica,you look sad” he asked in sympathy, she looked at him,ever since that day they argued about her relationship with Adrien they have not talk like father and daughter.
“I’m fine dad”she muttered.

“Why do you ask?I thought you never want to have anything to do with me and my baby anymore” she said then he chuckles.
“Come on Monica, I never said that,or though want you did was really bad,I will confess that I’m really upset with you but I’m not upset with the baby,the baby is innocent and moreover this is my fist grandchild” he cooed,she brighten up immediately.
“Really?”
“Yes honey” he said with a smile, she quickly embraced him,a least her father is by her side.
“Ok come on now and eat,you don’t have to starve the baby” he pulled away.
She nodded with a smile.
Episode 45 : A New Challenge
Richard lead them both to the dinning table, Monica smiled inwardly as she watch her father eating and smiling cheerfully with her.
After that argument they had she thought he never want to have anything to do with her,she could see he still love her despair her mistake, he over looked her mistake and still show his concern,immediately she began to feel some unusual guilt in her heart.
“Ma’am, there is a man at the door who said he’d like to see you” one of the maid came to announce immediately Monica heart skipped.
Could it be max? If it’s truly him what does he want?hope he is not here to expose her in front of her father?she began to panic.
“Hello everyone”.
The visitor walked into their mist and it turns out to be Lucas.
‘What is he doing here? ‘Monica asked herself curiously.
“Lucas what are you doing here,what a pleasant surprise” Richard said while standing up to give Lucas a handshake but he did not reciprocate the handshake.
“I came to see your daughter Richard, I here to see how she is doing after breaking my daughter’s home,I want to know if she happy” Lucas snorted.
Richard frown.
“Why will you say that Lucas?”
“It’s the truth ,I just want to see the face of a home breaker”.
“Don’t you dare call me that ” Monica yelled at him.
“And don’t you dare yell at me too,I’m not your mate okey so watch how you speak to me” Lucas yelled back at her then he looked at Richard how suddenly kept mute.
“How did we become friends Richard? I never knew I made friends with the person whose daughter would be the my worst nightmares”
“Please don’t say that Lucas…” Richard muttered.
“What do you want me to say,I took Monica as my daughter remember, I loved her my own child,I treated her equally like my own child but look at how she repay me,is this fair?” Lucas yelled at Richard.
“Did you ever give her proper home training? I’m sorry to say this but I’m sure wherever your late wife is she would be so disappointed in you,you failed as a father” Lucas said angrily.
“Lucas watch what you’re say,I’m a good father and it’s neither my fault that my own daughter choose to follow this wrong path,don’t put that blame on me” Richard voice out sadly,
“I don’t care,but I just want her to know that putting sadness in my daughter’s family she will not go scot free,those that does evil are always repay with evil,our friendship ends here Richard, I’m sorry,goodbye” Lucas said then left leaving Richard in a sad state.
Monica began to feel sad,her father just lost his long time friend or because of her, what have she done.
you lost a good friend all because of a man and you will regret itshe replayed what max told her and then she began to feel guilty.

This is not happening.
