Chapter 19 & 20 : The Fall of Trust
Morgana sat down in chain’s room waiting for him, she was bored and lonely,if only she was in the palace it would have been better, her wound has completely healed after taking blood so she is no longer in pain.
The door opened revealing chain and a smile welcome his presence from her, she has a killer smile that almost turn him on but he control himself while staring at her and he gave her a side smile before approaching her.
“How are you feeling my lady?
“Better than ever,”she reply still smiling.
“I see your wound has healed.
“Yes it has,all thanks to you though.
He came closer and sat down beside her placing his hand on her forehead to feel her temperature.
“I told you am better now .
“Shhhh,” let me see for myself, he silent her and continue checking her temperature.
“I never knew you are also a doctor,” she said teasing him.
“I can be anything for your sake my lady, you seems fine.
“I told you am ok.
“Have you eaten?.
“Nope.
“Why haven’t you eaten?,or did those maids of refused to attend to your need??,i will deal with them if i have out they disobey my orders.
“Calm down chain,i told them not to serve me.
“Why??, Don’t you like their meal?,i can change them if you want.
“No chain you don’t have to, actually i told them not to serve me because I wanted to have breakfast with you,but you left in a hurry so i decided to wait for you
“You shouldn’t have waited for me, what if you get sick.
“Why should I sick,am strong.
“Ok since am here now, let’s go get you something to eat.
He stood up about to carry her but she kept refusing his offer in carrying her,in the process fell on the bed with her untop him, their lips was close to each other as they kept staring at each other,each one of them not talking his eyes from the other.
“Are you ok my lady”, chain broke the long silent.
“Am fine”, she replied nodding her head.
“Let’s go then,

His body and they Walk to the dinning holding hands..he have them prepare her favorite meal, she was happy seeing all the meals prepared her her, she began consuming the meal but stopped when she noticed he’s not eating.
“Why are you not eating?
“Watching you eat makes me happy beside am not hungry.
“How can you not be hungry, you haven’t eaten anything all day,i won’t eat anymore until you start eating, she drop her spoon down.
“Fine i will eat, happy now”,she nod her head smiling.
The king was so furious,his claws were growing from his fingers, his eyes were red and his teeth were circulating with his anger.
“Who does he think he is to dare me,i will so deal with him that he will regret ever messing up with me, Morgana should make sure i never set my eyes on her if nit it will be her last day on earth.
Ashley Walk in and saw how angry he is,she was glad and decided to make use of the opportunity.
“Your majesty.
“I wish to be alone Ashley.
“How can I let you be when you are not ok.
“I will kill him with my bare hands.
“You have given him so much power and wealth,he no longer respect you as his King.
“I didn’t give him such power, my father made him the general after his father my uncle died,my father made him second in command after me,He owns majority of the army in the empire,he is not an ordinary vempire, even my father respect him, there is something about him but I don’t know what it is.
“Still you are the king,get him out of your way for good,he is a storm to your victory.
“how can I get rid of him, he is very powerful, my father once told me that king artaxerxes also want him in his empire,king artaxerxes don’t choose just any man into his empire,he must be worth it.

The king kissed her and Left smiling.
“Such a foolish king, once chain is out of my way, you will be next,i can finally be the ruler of this empire as I have always dreamed of.
Chain was swimming in a pool inside his castle, Morgana was watching from a distance admiring him,he noticed her present and called her.
“You don’t have to keep watching me, come over.
She came over feeling shy.
“Join me my lady”,he stretch out his hands giving her signal to join him.
“I have never swim before,i don’t know how to.
“Really”he chuckled, what do you spent your time doing in the palace all day long?.
“Reading.
“You are missing alot get in, let’s have fun together.
“Am scared, the water is much.
“Your general is here,fear not, give me your hands.
He stretch his hands which she hold,he helped her get into the water, she was facing him, her hands on his neck while his hands on her waist, she slowly let go of his neck while he teaches her how to swim
“The water is warm,i love it.
“I told swimming is fun.
The mood suddenly shine towards their direction
“Wow!!!!, it’s the full moon,i love watching the moon,”Morgana spoke.
“It’s beautiful.
She turned facing chain still staring at the moon, chain saw how red her eyes were.
“Your eyes, it’s red and beautiful.
“Is my eyes red??
“Yes it is, your teeth as well, it’s lovely, you are like a goddess. She smile
“You are cute chain, the most handsome man I have ever seen.
“Am flattered,i hear that alot from ladies but yours flattered me.
“You are making me nervous chain.
He kept staring at her Pink lips, the zeal to kiss those lips before him,he tries resisting her but each time she smiles at him bring back the zeal in him,his heartbeat increase beating faster than ever, Morgana notice it but remain calm feeling unease before him.
“Chain are you ok.
He kept staring at her lips not taking his eyes from them.
“Chain”… your silent is scaring me.
“Can I asked for a favour??, promise me you won’t refused.
“What is it chain.
“Just promise.
“I…I promise.
“Can I kiss you my lady??.
“Huh”. her eyes widened.
Without waiting for her reply he lock his lips with her kissing her slowly.
He nipped on her buttom lips and she opened up to him still shock, reciprocated the kiss and love his taste.
He shoved his tongue into her kissing her like it’s was his last kiss,his tongue was twirling in her mouth, Morgana close her eyes kissing him as he leads, their heads were moving in both side ways as he kissed her.
He was getting hard down there just by kissing her that he was forced to break from the kiss feeling ashamed of himself for kissing without her consent.
“Am sorry my lady, please forgive me.
Morgana was speechless, unable to autter a word.
“I need to go”, he helped her out of the water before leaving her breathless, she was wondering what just happened, somehow a smile excape From her.
“Did we just kissed,”she asked on one in particular smiling.
Chapter 21 & 22 : Chain’s Dilemma
Morgana went back to her room to have her night rest, she couldn’t sleep,the thought of what happened at the pool kept flashing in her head, she wanted to go meet him but Chang her mind and eventually slept off.
The sound of the birds woke her up from her sleep, she stood up and sat down on the bed stretching her body, she looks around but didn’t see chain.
“He didn’t came to wake me up today,i wonder were he is.
She got down form the bed and park her hair in a ponytail style.
“Is anyone outside?? she asked.
A maid ran in and greeted her.
“You called your highness.
“Have you seen chain today?
“No, your highness, maybe he left early today.
“You may leave”, she bow and left.
“Is he feeling guilty about last night?, I need you by my side chain, please come home.

Queen Vivian was busy with the stewards, she was checking some items she needed for the palace used.
“This one is ok,i like it, place it over there”, she handed the fabric to her maid who collect it and place it to the direction she pointed.
“That’s will be all for now.
“Should I get the dinning table ready?
“No yet, am not hungry yet,i still have alot to do.
Chain entered the queen Chambers and greeted her.
“My queen”,he bow his head.
“Chain, that goodness you came at the right time,i was about sending for you.
“I was with the army earlier so I decided to come say hello to you.
“That’s very thoughtful of you, how is Morgana?.
“She is fine and healthy my queen.
“Come,sit here”, she pointed to the chain in front of her, he came over and sat down.
“Leave us all of you,i need to speak with the general.
The steward and maids all bow and left the room.
“There is something i need to discuss with you.
“What is it my queen?
“It’s about Ashley,that witch.
“Did she do anything to you,i won’t spare her if she dare touch you.
“She wouldn’t dare lay her hands on me,i think she is up to something.
“How do you mean my queen?
“Last night someone heard her plotting with the king against you, they are both planning on killing you, you need to be careful.
“I Know that b**tch is up to no good,I will be careful my queen and thank you for informing me but I know already.
“You do?how?
“I have eyes everywhere my queen,i always knows everything.
“I guess you are prepared for anything they are planning then?
“Not to worry my queen,i have everything under control.
“Do you know what they might be planning.

Silent fill the room, the queen saw the calmness in his, it’s not his usual habit.
“Is everything ok with you chain, you don’t look fine.
“Am fine ny queen, it’s nothing to worry about.
“Chain you are also like a son to me,i watch you grow into a man,i nursed you after your Mom die,i can tell when my son is in distressed,it either you tell me what the problem is or i will be left with no choice but to read your mind.
Chain know the queen won’t let him go until he tells her whatever is bothering him.
” Something happen last night between i and Morgana.
“Did someone trys hurting her again? where you attack?is my daughter ok please tell me what it is am worried .
“Nothing of such happen, it’s something else.
“The queen breath out a sign of relief.
“I thought something happened to her,so what happen or did you two fought again?.
“No my queen we did, the thing is that i….I….I.
“You what clam down and tell me.
“We kissed,i mean I kissed her without her consent,i don’t know how to face her, what if she hate me?.
The queen smile at him.
“Did she say or do anything to you?.
“No she was clam.
“You are a man chain, it’s time to let her no how you feel,no need for you to hide it.
“I didn’t think now is the right time,its too early to tell her how i feel.
“I can’t tell you what to do chain, face your problem you sort it out yourself.

“My regards to Morgana, tell her I will come visit her soon, and tell her I love her so much.

Chain was heading home when a maid came to him and bow to him.
“My lord the queen demands your present.
“I just left her chamber so what does she needs me for?.
“Queen Ashley demands your present not the queen mother.
“I see,i will see her later.
“She wishes to see you immediately, she says it’s urgent.
“Lead the way.
The both took a U turn that leads to the royal family Private space, only the king and queen f are allowed into that particular building unless it’s a matter of emergency, chain knows this but kept following the maid.
The got to a large pool inside the building, Ashley was swimming, immediately she saw chain, she smiled.
“You may leave us”, the maid bow and left.
“Hi chain.
“What do you want?.
“Come on chain,hoop in let’s have a good time together.
“Am not interested.
She got out of the water, she was wearing a long grown that was revealing her body, she came closer to him and place her hand on his chest rubbing it gently.
“Is this the reason why you called me here?
“I missed you chain,we have shared Alot in common remember,we had s*x several times, before you left me,i still love you chain.
“What we both share was pressure,no love attached to it,i can’t love someone like you.
She came closer to him and place her other hands on his neck , she place her mouth closer to his ears and whisper to him.

Chain removed her dress while kissing her, she was completely naked, she was moaning in between the kiss.
He carried her in his arms in a bridal style and stare at her.
“If i wanted a woman,it will never be you Ashley,i made a mistake in the past with you but I don’t think I want to repeat such mistakes again.
He throw her into the water and smirked.
“F**k you chain, you will pay for this.
“Your little trick can’t work on me.
The door opened and the king entered with the guards but chain was not there,how he vanished even Ashley can’t tell, the king and guards all saw her nakedness, she was so ashamed.
“Everyone get out”, the king yell, the guards left immediately.
“Where is he??, the maid told me he was here with you.
“I don’t know,he was right here.
“Are you trying to tell me he vanished into thin air,i was stupid trusting.
“You have to believe me,he was right here.
“Enough of this nonsense, there is only one way out of this room and that is the way we got so how did he got out.
Ashley was speechless and terrified, she was confused not knowing what to do or say.
“You are such a disgrace Ashley, your nakedness was seen by everyone,how embarrassing, you have made me a laughing stock.
The king went out angryly.
“How did he get out? he is something else,i wanted to win his heart back but he won’t let me.
“I will make you pay chain, for the humiliation.
Morgana was in chain’s room waiting for him,he has been away all day and it’s very late he is still not back, she was worried and devastated.
She was about going out when the door opened revealing chain,he was shock seeing her,he didn’t expect she will be in his room at such hour.
“Where have you been??,i was worried something has happened to you.
“I was out protecting the empire.
“Have you eaten? Should I asked the maids to bring your meal? don’t worry i will get you something to eat.
She was about leaving when he held her hand.
“What’s wrong chain? aren’t you hungry?
“About what happened last night, am sorry,i mistook you for someone else.
“Someone else, she asked in a cool toon.
“Yes,i love someone but she die,i thought it was you, that was why I kissed you.
Morgana became emotional, her expression change.
“I understand chain, you must have really Loved her alot.
“I can’t do without her, she is my source of strength.
“Let me get you something to eat.
“I don’t need anything to eat,i just need you by my side all night.
“you want me to spend the night here with you?
“Yeah”, he nodded his head
“I will stay with you.
“Thank you Morgana,can I hugged you?.
“Sure you can”, she reply him feeling shy.
He hugged her so tightly like he was never going to see her again.
“Are you sure you are ok chain.

He disengage the hug and Carried her in a bridal style to his bed and place her on it,he lay down close to her.
“I want to watch you sleep.
“You also needs to rest, you have been working hard all day.
“I don’t care,my priority is you.
She smile at him while he kept staring at her.

Chapter 23 & 24 : The New Queen’s Manipulative Games
Next morning, the news of queen Ashley being seen naked spread round the empire, maids and guards in the palace were talking about her.
She was the main topic of the day as people were seen in group discussing about her.
🗣️ Did you heard what happened last night.
🗣️I did, the queen was seen naked after her maid inform the king she saw the general entering the royal building.
🗣️I guess she made that up so the king will come to her.
🗣️ How foolish of her, she thinks he King will come alone after hearing such news.

All this rumors continue in the palace, the king was passing by and everyone ran to their place of duty
Ashley was in her room, the embarrassment was too much for her, she was confused and terrified at that moment,her whole body was shaking, she remain indoor as she wasn’t ready to see anyone.
“How did he get out, there is no other way aside from the entrance gate,how then did he get out”, she asked noone in particular.
“You will pay for this chain, for the embarrassment you put me through,i will make you beg at your knees.
Her anger was terrifying, She was like a witch in her anger,her claws were growing Even more, her eyes were darker and her fangs were that of a beast, she was horrifying and scary.
Morgana was having breakfast with chain in the dining, she was looking beautiful and attractive, chain can’t take his eyes off her as she is eating, her every move made him smile.
“You look pretty my lady”.her cheeks turn red blushing from his compliment.
“Thank you chain.
“Finished eating,i want to take you somewhere.
“Really where?!.
it’s a secret, you will know when we get there, meet me outside when you are done.
“Aren’t you eating.
“Am not hungry,i will be waiting for you outside, he left.
“He so sweet and charming”, she said smiling.
After eating she went outside and met him checking his horse moon,moon is his favorite horse and he only obeys chain, no one dare come closer to him unless the person is with chain
“You are here.
“Yes.
He climb moon and stretch his hands giving her signal to take his hand.
“There’s no way am climbing that horse,i have heard alot about him, i don’t want to die, am still too young to die.
“He won’t harm you trust me,as long as you are with me he won’t hurt you.
Morgana was too afraid to even go closer to moon, the horse looks innocent but he eyes turn red when any other person comes closer to him aside chain, moon is an ancient horse that only the bearer of the sword of death can ride on it, only chain knows the secret of the horse while everyone thought the horse is evil.
Chain saw that Morgana wasn’t going to climb so he commanded moon to shut his eyes which he did immediately.
“His eyes is closed, come on let’s go.
After a little while he held his hands while he pull her to the horse before commanding it to move.
Along the road everyone who saw chain immediately went on their knees,it was as if he was their God, Morgana was amazed at the respect the people gave to chain.
They got to the entrance of a forest,he commanded his men to wait while he went in with Morgana together with moon,he stop under a shade and he tied moon there.
“Watch out for enemies”, he said to moon before going deeper into the forest holding Morgana hands.
They came to a valley, Morgana was bewildered,she never for once taught such place still exists.
The valley was beautiful to behold, there were lots of unicorn horses surrounding the areas, flowers of different types spare around the premises.
The valley also had fairies and other little creatures running around joyfully.
“Wow!!!!, this place is magnificent, how did you came about this place chain??.
“I made it myself.
“What do you mean you made it,all this are living creatures,how come you made it.
“Someday you will understand.
A pick unicorn came over to Morgana, she was scared at first but later began rubbing it’s head gently.
“I think she likes you”, chain spoke.
“She is charmming,can I have her please,”she pleaded
“She is all yours, you can have her.
“Thanks chain,you are the best”, she hugged him before retrieving back.
“Can i ride her??.
“Why not, she is yours now.
Morgana got on the horse, she began flying with her, taking her around the valley before bringing her back to where chain is, she kept rubbing her smiling.
“Have you taught of a name for her??.
“I will call her sky, she is as bright as the sky.
“Sky”…. that’s a beautiful name.
“I wish to stay here forever chain, it’s so clam and beautiful.
“Come on, let’s go see the elephant’s.
“Is there also elephant’s around here??.
“There are lots of things to see.
He took her to another side.
“Over there”he pointed his hands to a direction where the elephant’s are eating while some are patrolling the area.
“It’s so beautiful chain, this is my happiest day.
“I have been waiting for a long time to bring you here,i have finally brought you here.
“Is that an apple tree over there??”, she asked pointing at a direction.
“Yes it’s is.
“I want some of it, can you please get it for me.
They both went over the tree, chain stretch forth his hands and cut as many as he can,he gave it to her,he carried her the tree house he buid in the wood and place her there.
“Enjoy while I go get you water, he went out and bought her water to drink.
“Here have some also .
“I will eat later.
“No,i want you to eat now.
She feed him apple while he eat starting at her smiling.
“Your treehouses is beautiful,i love it.
“I always go for the best,hurry up let’s go home.
“Home, why so soon, let’s stay a little bit.
“It’s getting late,we must return home.
“I wish this was our home..
“It’s is our second home.
She smiles while he stare at her.
“Thank you so much chain, for everything you did for me,i will never forget your kind gesture.
“You will do the same for me right.
“Chain can I asked you something?
“what is it.
“Don’t you have the intention of getting married,i mean you need an heir to take over from you.
“I will when the time is right.
“I think it’s high time you forget about her and move on, there are many woman out there waiting for this opportunity.

They both walk down to were he kept moon,he looses his rope and they went home together.
The king was in his room resting when Ashley came in.

“Are you going to continue avoiding me?
“Am not avoiding you,am just pissed off at the moment.
“I swear chain was really in there with me,i just don’t know he got out .
“There you again, it’s high time you realized that you fooled yourself and me.
“I will think of another way to destroy him.
“I don’t need your help i will do it my way
Ashley went out of his room
“I don’t need your help anyway,i will find out myself, you better get ready chain, you are mine and noone will take you away from me, only death can separate us.
