Chapter 31 & 32 : The Rise of a New Power

In a dungeon into his castle,a man who’s face was covered except his face was tight inside down, he was being tortured by chain men but he refused to speak.
His men kept torturing him but to no avail, chain Walk in and everyone bow immediately he entered.
“Has he said anything yet.
“Not yet general, he doesn’t want to mention who ever sent him.
“I see, let’s see how long he will endure the torture.
“What do we do with him general?
“Keep torturing him,if he doesn’t say anything by night fall i will handle him myself.
He left the dungeon while he’s men continue with the torturing.
Chain got to his room to meet Morgana, she hugged him as soon as she saw him.
“Are you ok my lady?.
“I am,did he say anything?
“Not yet but don’t worry he will soon give out a name.
“What if he doesn’t say anything,i heard that assassin’s don’t reveal who ever sent them.
“In this case he will,noone dares chain and go away with it especially not to my woman.

Chain sat on the bed while she sat down on his lap.

King Jerome was in his mother chamber, she wasn’t there so he admiring her room, he hasn’t been in her room for a long time and the room was a big difference from the way it used to be.
He noticed that his portrait is no longer in her room.
“Does she really hate me this much”, he spoke sorrowfully.
He kept staring at different portrait of Morgana, he kept smiling as he stare at her portrait.
“She is so beautiful,why didn’t I never see how beautiful she is,”he was interupted by his mother.
“What are you doing here??i never remember inviting you over.
“Has it gotten to this mother, do you hate me this much to the extent you remove my portrait from its usual spot.
“I don’t have anything to say to you please leave am tired..
“I never imagined you will become this cold-hearted towards your own son, you want chain to rule over the empire right, go ahead and keep supporting him but know this mother i will not give up my throne no matter what.
He left her room in tears, queen Vivian was depressed, she pity her son, she walk over to a big box standing in a corner in her room, she opened it and brought out his portrait, she stare at it crying while touching her son in the portrait.
“Am so sorry Jerome, please forgive i hope that someday you will understand why i did what I did,i love you so much son.
She sat on the floor crying still holding his portrait.
Chain got back from the valley with Morgana,he helped her down from moon.
“You need to rest my lady?
“Aren’t you coming with me?.
“I will,i have something to take care of.
“Ok but be fast, don’t keep the lady waiting.

She went into the castle while he headed towards the dungeon, he got up in and met his men still torturing him.
“Has he said anything yet?
“He refused to say anything general.
“Everyone leave,i will handle it from here, they all bow and left.
Chain carried a wooden chair and sat on it.
“Are you going to continue being obedient to who ever sent you like a dog or you will rather speak and save yourself from this pain.
“You will not get anything from me so stop wasting your time and just kill me.

Chain was very angry, he was not ready to reveal who ever sent him,he rather chose death over his life.

Chain began using his powers on him,noone has ever seen him with such power, the assassin scream out loud as he couldn’t bare the pain he was passing through, chain made sure that noone outside the dungeon was able to hear him scream.
Chain uses another method by bringing out a flame of fire buring him with it,it was wrost than death, he could no longer endure the hotness of the fire.

Chain stop what he was doing and sat down facing.
“I see you are ready to talk.
“Yes I will”,he reply him feeling weak from all the torturing.
“Am Listening, who sent you to hurt my woman?
“It…..it….it…”he couldn’t speak, he kept stammering.
“Just give me the name,i got thing’s to do with my time.
“Queen Ashley and her father sent me, they both want her death.

Chain burned him to ashes with his buring flame,he was about going out when he saw Morgana staring at him,she has this fear in her and was trembling at his presence, obviously she saw everything.

She was so afraid to even stare at him, the power he showcase scared her to death, she kept moving back while he tries to clam her down but to no avail.

Chapter 33 & 34 : King Artaxerxes’ Return to Power
Chain wanted to explain things to Morgana but seeing how scared she was he decided to let her be for the time being until she’s calm, he slept in her room instead, he was so upset and very angry to the extent he was breaking The Wall of the house.

Chain got back home very late, he was eager to meet Morgana, he missed her so much, he wanted to explain things to her, he got to his room and knock as he didn’t want to scared her by entering the room.

Chapter 35 & 36 : The Rebellion Against Tyranny Begins
The news of Ashley spread round the kingdom, her father who trys running away was captured by chain’s men and throw into prison, the councils were very angry at the king for being foolish in picking a wife as queen, they decided to held a secret meeting to discuss what to do next.
The councils gather in a castle where they normally held their meeting in case of emergency, Zack being the head Sat in the upper sit while the rest took their sit making a curve round as they sat, Zack cleared his throat before speaking.
