Episode: 1
At St Paul Hospital….
Four nurses were seen pushing a stretcher into the hospital, on the stretcher was an unconscious young girl whose face and body were covered with blood, another young lady was running after them panicking, ”ma pls u have to wait here in the reception, u can’t come with us into the ward”, one of the nurse who was among the four nurses pushing the stretcher said as the others pushed the stretcher inside an emergency Ward ”but why can’t I come with u guys? the lady whose name happened to be Mary asked the nurse, panicking ”am sorry ma! u can’t follow us into the emergency room! just wait behind, we will get back to u”, the nurse said and left.
Mary was seen sitting on the chair of the reception, with her two hands on her jaw, she wasn’t even concentrating on the tv displaying, she was just lost with thought ”oh God! wat kind of a terrible accident is this? hmmmm!! I just pray she survive it! too bad, the man and woman I saw on the accident scene I presumed was her parents died, hmmmm! this life no balance at all”, Mary thought to herself, after about thirty minutes, the doctor walked up to her, putting on two handglove stained with blood, and sweating real hard ”doctor how is she now?
Mary asked worried, ”are u her elder sister? the doctor asked ”no doctor am not her sister! am not even related to her! I don’t even know her before! am just a passerby who was returning back from work and saw her condition, so as a good Christian I am, I decided to help but though her parents died on the process”, Mary explained ”oh I see! anyway u are such a nice lady, nobody will see such and decide to help just as u did”, the doctor said ”so doctor how is she now? I hope she is getting better? Mary asked.
”hmmmm!! that girl is at the point of death! the accident really affect her so badly, especially her eyes! am sorry to say this, she might not use those eyes to see again”, the doctor said shaking his head out of pity ”what?? oh my God!! hmmmm!! but doctor can I see her now?
Mary asked looking worried ”am afraid u can’t see her now because she is in coma, why not go home and rest, then come back tomorrow to check on her”, the doctor said ”ok doctor I think that is wat I will do now but pls doctor do everything by ur power to make sure she survived it pls”, Mary said looking at the doctor’s eyes ”everything is in God’s hands! am just an ordinary being and not God. But I will do my best! excuse me”, the doctor said and walked away, while Mary sighed for a moment before leaving the hospital.

Tony, a young handsome millionaire was seen sitting on a couch sipping a wine, sitting beside him was kunle his best friend, though kunle was living with him, they were both seen chatting noisily sipping a wine ”badess guy! it not even up to two months u came living with me in this Abuja and u have started dating all the whole girls here! abeg take ham easy o”, Tony teased and kunle started laughing ”u know me right from secondary School na? u know I don’t joke with women, especially the beautiful ones! hahahaha!! anyway that is by the way! pls my guys there is something I have been wanting to tell u”, kunle said and sip a little of his wine ”wat is it, I hope there is no problem?
Tony asked looking more serious ”tony my guy! I know u have been trying for me ever since I came living with u but don’t worry I promise to pay u back some day and that’s a promise”, kunle said ”i never asked u to pay me back for all I have been doing for u, everything am doing for u is because of the love I have for u as a friend and as a brother from another mother! so feel free whenever u want to asked me for something!
So tell me, wat do u want me to do for u? Tony said smiling ”errm errm! well actually I wanted to asked u for little cash but I wa…”, and was interrupted by Tony ”like how much do u need? ”errrrm like thirty thousand naira! I want to use it to clear my debt”, kunle said, looking at his drink ”ok no prob, as long as it doesn’t concerned flexing with women, I will give u the money”, Tony said while kunle started smiling ”oh thank u so much my dear friend! I will never forget all wat u have been doing for me!
My guy my guy! my one and only millionaire friend, I hail o”, kunle teased as they both started laughing, ”ok let me go upstairs and get u the money”, Tony said standing up from the couch ”ok no prob”, kunle said smiling as Tony walked away ”stupid boy! Everytime bragging about ur money, don’t worry! one day u will wake up and find urself back to square one! I must do everything possible to bring u down, turning me into a beggar because am living in ur house, a time will come when u will start bowing for me! enjoy while u can but I promise u it not gonna last long, I kunle said so, unless am not a Yoruba guy”, kunle said to no one in particular as he gave out a devilish smile.
Mary was seen at the hospital in the doctor’s office ”Good afternoon doctor”, Mary greeted the doctor ”morning young lady how was ur night? the doctor asked ”my night was fine doctor! pls doctor can I see her now? Mary asked the doctor who looked at her and sighed before replying ”well she is still in coma and good news, she moved her body yesterday that is to say, she will soon be out of coma soon and start taking treatment but am sorry her two eyes are damaged, that is to say she is blind”, the doctor said and shake his head out of pity ”chai! that innocent young girl just go blind just like that? hmmmm I really feel for her! but doctor can I see her now
Because u asked me to come today”, Mary said ”yea I know I asked u to come today but am sorry u can’t see her today Maybe in two days time”, the doctor said, and just then a nurse knocked and walked in ”doctor there is an emergency, they just brought in a pregnant woman who is seriously in labor”, the nurse said ”ok am coming right away”, the doctor said and the nurse walked away ”young lady, like I said before, u will come in two days time”, the doctor said to Mary who nodded and left the doctor’s office.

Two days later, Mary went to the hospital to check on sandra, yeah the blind girl name is Sandra, on reaching at the hospital, she met two nurses discussing so she greeted ”good evening nurses pls can I see the doctor? Mary said ”why do u want to see the doctor? I hope there is no problem? one of the nurse asked in a concerned tone ”yes is about that accident victim who got blind and the doctor asked me to come check on her today”,
Mary explained ”oh u mean that pretty girl who got blind as a result of the accident? the second nurse chipped in ”yes! how is she now? is she still in coma? Mary asked ”no she is no more in coma, she is on drip now”, the second nurse replied ”ok! so I don’t know if I should take permission from doctor before I see her now? Mary said ”no need of that, the doctor is even on seat, don’t worry let me take u to her ward”, the first nurse said as Mary smiled and nodded,and the nurse led her to Sandra’s ward, ”here we are”, the nurse said ”thank u very much, I really appreciate,” Mary said and walked in while the nurse left,..
Mary entered the ward and saw Sandra lying on the bed with drip on her hand, her two legs and eyes were bandaged, at that moment Mary felt pity for her and shaked her head out of pity, so she touched Sandra lightly on her shoulder ”who are u pls? Sandra asked in a low tone ”oh dear! it me Mary the good Samaritan who brought u here! am not here to hurt u, I came to check on u dear! so how are u now? Mary asked in a concerned tone ”where are my and wat happened to me? where are my parents? because the last time I could remember, my parents and I were going for a vacation! pls tell me, where are they? and wat happened to me? why are my eyes and legs bandaged?
My eyes! my eyes! I can’t even feel my eyes! pls wat is happening to me? help me remove this bandage from my eyes so I can see u and see where I am”, Sandra cried struggling to get up from the bed ”pls take it easy, I will explain everything u needs to know but first u need to relax, u are on drip”, Mary said with tears dropping down her eyes ”ok! ok I will relax, just pls tell me wat I needs to know”, Sandra said ”ok I will”, Mary said in a low tone,..after explaining everything to sandra, Sandra gave out a loud scream.
Tony was seen in his office operating a computer when his phone started ringing, he stopped whatever he was doing and look at the caller, the caller name was boldly written ”My Sugar pie”, so he smiled before picking the call ”my sweedy how are u? Tony asked on phone still smiling ”babym am fine o! how is work and everything? his girlfriend asked at the other ends of the call ”we are pushing it gradually gradually! God has been faithful to me”, Tony said ”Thank God for that! anyway I call to let u know that I will be coming on weekend and am going to spend the weekend with u my love”, his girlfriend said at the other end ”u are always welcome my queen! so have u eating”,
Tony asked ”yeah! so baby wat about that ur crazy friend kunle or whatever”, his girlfriend asked ”he is fine! I don’t know why u hates my friend so much! kunle is not wat u think he is o”, Tony defended ”hmmmm! really? I don’t just like that guy, there is something about him, I wish u will just send him out of that house, am not comfortable staying with him there, that guy is green snake under green grass! babym that gu…”, and was interrupted by Tony ”thats enough Tracy! do not talk about my best friend that way! I will call u later, have a nice day bye”, Tony said and angrily ends the call.

”Young lady that’s enough! u should be grateful that u alive”,the doctor said to Sandra as he started removing the bandage on her eyes ”so I Sandra, I will not see again! so I will not even see my parents again? why do death have to snatch my sweet parents away from me? wat am I even living for? doctor pls just end my miserable life! I still can’t believe that am blind and am never going to see again”, Sandra cried ”sandra pls that’s enough!
I know wat u are passing through is not easy but u just have to accept fate”, Mary consoled ”young lady just take it easy ok! wat has happened has happened, u just have to move on with life! I know it not easy to loose a love ones and to loose ur eyes but u just have to accept fate”, the doctor said to Sandra as he patted her on the shoulder ”so doctor when will she be discharge?
Mary asked ”maybe in one week time! pls see me in my office for my balance”, the doctor said to Mary who nodded her head ”excuse me,” the doctor said and walked away ”after u are discharged, for the main time u will be staying with me because of ur condition ok”, Mary said to Sandra who was still seen crying without replying her ”sandra that’s enough na! pls stop crying, it ok pls”, Mary said cleaning Sandra’s eyes.
Tony was busy with his laptop when his phone beeped, he looked at the phone and there was a message there, so he picked up the phone and opened the message, his heart skipped severally on wat is written there, ”one million naira was debited from ur account” was the message ”no this is not happening to me! how come one million naira was debited from my account? and the only person that knows my signature is Tracy my girlfriend! but how could Tracy do this to me! that’s stealing, I must call her now”, just as Tony was about to dial Tracy number, from nowhere kunle walked in ”bro why is ur face like this? did anything happened? kunle asked pretending to be concerned ”kunle!
You can’t believe that the bank debited me one million naira”, Tony sadly said ”what?? are u serious? kunle asked ”just look at it! and the only person that knows my signature is my girl Tracy”, Tony angrily said showing kunle his phone ”hmmmm!! I knew that girl must be up to something the very day u introduce her to me, that is why I don’t like her! hmm! why not call her right away! hmm! that amount is too much na! she don’t even have conscience”, kunle said, and Tony dialed Tracy’s number, Tracy picked almost immediately ”hello darling”, Tracy said at the other end ”cut it there!
Tracy how could u? how could u do this to me after all have done for u? how could u steal from me”, Tony yelled on phone ”i don’t understand wat u are saying? how do u mean how could I steal from u? as how I don’t get u”, Tracy asked confusedly ”oh will u shut up and stop pretending! how could u use my signature to steal my money? my bank just debited me one million naira and u are the only one who knows my signature! how could u, u thief”, Tony shouted on phone ”are u okey? are u normal?
Why are u accusing me of stealing ur money? how could u Tony? yeah I know I knew ur signature but I can never use it to steal ur money! how could u accused me wrongly? so u mean after four years of our relationship u still don’t trust me? I hate u so much for this”, Tracy sobbed ”errrm errm, but u are the only one who knew my signature and I wa….”, short of words ”i did not steal ur money! am not a thief! I did not steal it”, Tracy cried and ended the call.

One Weeks Later…
”I can’t take this anymore! how can my boyfriend Tony accused me of stealing from him? a guy I have dated four years! how can I be dating a guy that don’t even trust me? eversince he called and accused me, after since then he hasn’t called me back, and even if I call his number he normally busy it! I can’t take this anymore, I will go to his house tommorow evening to confront him and to clear my name! I have never steal before, so why will tony be accusing me wrongly? don’t worry I shall visit him tomorrow after work”, Tracy said to no one in particular as hot tears started dripping down her eyes.
Sandra has fully recovered and was now staying with Mary, but a day can never pass without her shedding tears because of her present predicament and because of the death of her parents whom she loved so dearly ”i wish I just die together with my parents on that accident? wat am I living for? how can I cope with blindness? I can’t see anything! I don’t even know how the house am staying looks like! even the lady that saved and harbour me, I don’t even know how she looks like? wat am I living for?
I just wish for death to come and take me to my beloved parents! why me? Sandra said crying seriously, Mary ran up to her due to she heard her cry ”sandra wat is it again? won’t u stop crying? u have been crying every minutes and second! do u want the whole tears in ur eyes to finish? pls I beg u, stop crying, it affecting ur health and it not good for ur health! I know wat u are passing through, u just have to accept the fate and moved on with ur life! I know there is nothing difficult for God to do! pls I beg u, stop crying, I gets heartbroken whenever I see u cry”, Mary consoled and patted her on the head.
The next day evening, Tracy went to Tony’s house, on getting there, he noticed that Tony’s room was opened, so she quietly peeped inside and was very surprised to see kunle in Tony’s room collecting tony’s cheque book, so she screamed, kunle on hearing the scream turned with force and the cheque book fell off his hand ”oh my God! I thought as much! kunle wat are u doing in my boyfriend’s room and wat are u doing with his cheque book? oh u have been the one collecting his money with his cheque book? wait! wait! wait! how did u even know his signature?
This guy is a crook! and Tony has been accusing me wrongly! u are a thief and am going to call Tony right away and let him know that he kept a thief as a friend in his house! thief”, Tracy yelled ”u better not call him and tell him wat u don’t know”, kunle boldly said ”then watch me do it criminal”, Tracy said and was about walking away when kunle grabbed her on the neck and started choking her to death, Tracy screamed and was about pushing kunle away but kunle over powered her and strangled her to death, immediately kunle noticed that she was dead, he pushed her cold body on the bed and ran out of the house with the cheque.
