Chapter 25 & 26 : Challenges and Choices
” It’s your responsibility to stay with me where ever I am, if you continue to avoid how will you do that?” Ivan said.
“Even though I stop avoiding you, I can never forgive you for whatever you did to me yesterday.” Ivy said angrily.
Ivan moved away from her guilt in his heart, he then went back to his seat.
“Call me Melissa.” Ivan said.
“You won’t even say anything about it right? All these was your fault and I have all right to be annoyed with you. So trust me I will limit my way of being so cool to you.” Ivy said and left the office.
After she left, Ivan raised his head and sigh in frustration.
“I don’t know why I did that yesterday and I don’t even know why I am being affected by her avoiding me.” Ivan said.
Some minutes later*
Ivy came back with Melissa. Melissa went ahead to meet Ivan, while Ivy sat down on the couch in the office pressing her phone.
“Set a meeting at the appropriate time.” Ivan said.
“Of course sir.” Melissa said and looking at him while smiling sheepily.
Ivy looked at her and scoffs.
“Ivan doesn’t even look at her less alone knows she loves him.” Ivy muttered.
“Sir, there’s a company who is trying to compete with us. That company seems to be in a high position, but we are quite higher than them.” Melissa said and Ivan looked at her.
“What? Is that a rival, you all shouldn’t lack behind in doing your job. Inform everyone about that.” Ivan said.
“Okay sir.” Melissa said and look at him again.
After a few minutes of discussing business matter, Melissa left the office not without smirking at Ivy.
” Let’s go.” Ivan said getting up and took his suit from the arm of the chair.
” Uhn, where?” Ivy said not ready to stand up.
” Home, done here.” Ivan said heading towards the door.
” Then why did you come to the office?” Ivy Asked and he stopped.
She didn’t receive any answer because Ivan walked away.
” Did he come because of me? No, that’s never possible.” Ivy said and left the office.
They started walking out towards the elevator as the staffs greeted him while some throw hard glares at Ivy which she ignore.
👥: Why is he leaving so early
👥: Can’t really lie, I have missed him a lot.
👥: He looks hot every single day.
They kept murmuring to each other until Ivan and Ivy left the premises.
They got to the car and the driver ignited the engine, this time they sat down together.
The journey home was quite a calm one as each other maintain their distance in the car.
Ivy rested her head on the window side, as she kept looking at the city. Suddenly she smiled because she sighted something.
” Ivan sir, can you please stop the car.” Ivy said.
” Why?”
” I love ice cream a lot and there’s one over there so can I get one please.” Ivy pouted which Ivan found cute.
” Stop the car and wait here.” Ivan said and the driver said as he instructed.
They got out of the car and Ivy immediately ran to the ice cream seller like a kid.
” Such a baby.” Ivan said following her.
” Do you want some?” Ivy asked as she collected a vanilla ice cream.
” No, go ahead.” Ivan said and she nodded.
👥: Oh my, isn’t that Ivan Aurthur
👥: Is that is girlfriend?
👥: Let’s go take a picture.
” Ivan Aurthur, we are one of your favorite fan cause we love you and your company, you always try to give we the public the best.” One of the women.
” Thank you, Thank you.” Ivan said but without smiling.
” Can we take a picture please?” Another asked again.
” Sure.” Ivan said.
” What? He is going to take a picture with everyone each. Wow that’s awesome.” Ivy said angrily.
More and more people started coming towards him too and Ivan couldn’t lie, he was just tired already.
“Stop it you all.” Ivy said and moved closer to them.
“You all should stop being so clingy towards him.” Ivy said and stand beside him while Ivan kept looking at her.
“Who are you to say that?” One of them said.
“You don’t have to know that, just stay away. Let’s go.” Ivy said and started dragging him away while Ivan waved at them again.
They got to another kiosk with less people there and they stopped.
“Why did you do that?” Ivan asked releasing himself roughly.
” Sorry sir, I thought you were feeling uncomfortable with them.” Ivy said looking away.
” Really? Is that really the reason.” Ivan asked.
“What’s else could be the reason.” Ivy said still looking away.
“Are you still going to keep avoiding me?” Ivan asked and Ivy looked at him.
“I… ” She was about to talk when bubbles came flying up in the air, making the scene very beautiful.
She started rolling around the bubbles and tap some which will make her giggle like a kid. Ivan kept staring at her, he didn’t even realize when a smile crept up his lips.
“Tell me sir, do you like the girl?” A shop owner asked.
“No, I…”
“You should tell her how you feel before it’s too late, she is very pretty. Don’t let her slip away.” The man said and smiled.
Ivan look at Ivy again and his heart flutter seeing her playing round the bubbles and how she smiles.
“I don’t know what it is. She.. she is just my PA.” Ivan said to himself.
★ The restaurant★
Melody had decided to apologise to Noah and she saw this time as an opportunity because most of the staffs are in the kitchen and some went to the stores, there were also less customers.
She walked to him where he is busy arranging some stuffs.
” Hey Noah.” Melody said and Noah faced her, looking at her strangely.
“Umm, what’s wrong?” Noah asked cleaning his hands.
“I.. I just wish to apologise to you for however I might have treated you. Please find a place in your heart to forgive me.” Melody said softly.
“And why the sudden change of heart?” Noah asked.
Melody stared at him for a while and she couldn’t deny he looks so good especially in the apron he is wearing.
“I just felt that whatever I am doing is wrong and most people are criticizing me also. Please forgive me.” Melody said.
“Anyways, I was never annoyed or angry with you. Just sad I couldn’t make friends with you.” Noah said.
“Then friends?” Melody said smiling, and stretch her hands for a handshake.
“Of course.” Noah accepted it and smiled.
“We should hug.” Melody said and hug him immediately.
Noah was shocked at first but later started reciprocating it.
Unknown to them, someone was looking at them with so much anger in the person’s eyes before she walked away angrily.
★ The shop★
It’s evening time, it’s time for Ivan and Ivy to go home.
“Wait for me in the car, while I pay for the things you bought.” Ivan said and Ivy smiled.
“Thank you, I will be waiting.” Ivy said and went to the car.
Ivan paid for the stuffs and started going back to the car. He got there but couldn’t find Ivy.
“Where’s Ivy?” Ivan asked the driver.
“I haven’t seen her since you both left.” The driver.
“Oh shit, where are you Miss. Rhett.” Ivan said ruffling his hair.
Chapter 27 & 28 : The Confession Ivy Didn’t Expect
Ivan started looking around the stores, he kept looking around until he saw someone’s back faced to him.
He tapped the person’s shoulder and the person face him but it’s turns out to be someone else.
“Oh sorry, thought it’s someone else.” Ivan said.
” Oh my, Ivan Aurthur! Trust me am one of your biggest fan, please can I take a pic.” The lady said.
” Umm sorry, am in a hurry.” Ivan said wanting to go.
” Please just one.”
” Okay, do that quick.” Ivan said and the lady snapped them.
” You’re so handsome even more than interviews on the television, Thank you, love you a lot.” The lady said.
Ivan nodded and decided to look elsewhere, he kept looking but didn’t see her. He went back towards the car and rested his forehead on the car.
“Are you missing?” He muttered to himself.
Just then someone tap him and he faced the person, his heart almost jump out in his mouth with excitement.
Due to lot of joy, he hugged her.
“Where did you go to huh, what if something happened to you. Are you a child, what if….”
“Hey, am fine. Why..why are you hugging me.” Ivy said rubbing his back.
Ivan regained back his senses and move away from her keeping on his cold face again.
“I thought something had happened to you. I looked for you everywhere and if something happens to you, I will be held responsible. So don’t think of something else.” Ivan said and she smiled.
“Why on earth are you smiling?” Ivan asked.
“No sir, you look cute that way.” Ivy said and smiled again.
Hearing that Ivan heart flutters, a smile almost crept his lips but he avoid that. Just then he received a phone call from an unknown number.
“Go inside the car, I will meet you.” Ivan said and she nodded still smiling.
“Who’s this.” Ivan said after she’s went in.
Ivan picked the call and an unknown voice came on the phone.
” I can see you are getting more closer to her.” The person said.
” Who the hell are you?” Ivan said.
“You don’t know me, but I know you. Ivan Aurthur, one of the most famous business man in the state or Rather the country.” The person said again.
“What do you want from me?”
“Be thankful that girl isn’t gone yet, but Don’t worry you will get to know me soon.” The person said.
Ivan looked at Ivy in the car, she is also looking at him giving him ‘what’s wrong’ face.
“Don’t you dare touch any of the girls I know, just know you are a dead meat.” Ivan said.
“Oh oh, am scared. Ivan Aurthur, secure that girl with you well or else she will be far away from you.” The person said and ended the call.
Ivan held the phone in anger and Ivy came out of the car.
“What’s wrong?” Ivy asked.
Ivan ignored her and walk to the other side of the car, he went in.
“Uhn, what happened.” Ivy said to herself and went inside the car too.
★ Elite college* Rooftop★
Ryan and Louisa sat together on the bench. Louisa rested her head on his shoulder, they both held each other’s hand.
“We should go together to store okay?” Ryan said.
“Of course, but it’s will be my money.” Louisa said.
“No, am a guy. It’s won’t feel right about you paying the money.” Ryan said.
“It’s doesn’t matter to me. So it’s will be my money.” Louisa said.
“No, mine.”
“It’s my money.”
They kept arguing failing to notice the intruder between them.
“Awwn, such a cute couple.” It’s Ava.
Louisa and Ryan faced her and Louisa’s expression changed.
“What are you doing here?” Louisa said standing up.
“Oh Common, Ryan is my friend too right?” Ava said facing Ryan.
“No, he is not your friend. So leave.” Louisa said.
“Oh Ryan, even though I am your ex. It’s doesn’t mean you shouldn’t defend me.” Ava said and Louisa faced Ryan in shock.
“Louisa, please hear me out…”
“You hid such a secret from me, despite knowing me and her don’t like each other. Why, huh why?” Louisa asked angrily.
“Louisa, please am sorry. I didn’t intend to hide it from you, I also know you and her aren’t on good terms that’s why I didn’t tell you.” Ryan said as he held her hand and Louisa jerked off her hand.
“You know what, don’t show me your face again.” Louisa said and walk out of the rooftop but not without shoting Ava a glare.
“Why on earth did you do this huh, why?” Ryan yelled.
“Calm down, I thought it’s only right if I tell her the truth right?” Ava said smiling wickedly.
“You are such a evil, am done with you and you need to accept that.” Ryan yelled the last part and walk out too.
“No Ryan baby, this is just a tip of an iceberg. It’s just the beginning.” Ava said and smirks.
★ A coffee shop★
Sophia and Bryan sat opposite each other, facing each other as they both drank from the coffee.
“Sophia, why didn’t you let us go to your friend’s restaurant?” Bryan asked.
“No, I don’t want them to be aware of we back together just yet.” Sophia said.
” As you wish my lady.” Bryan said and Sophia chuckled.
“I want them to be aware in a shocking manner.” Sophia said smiling.
“Don’t worry, I have an idea for that.” Bryan said as he told her the plan.
” Oh wow, you are still smart as ever.” Sophia said and kissed his cheek.
” Of course I am. I still can’t stop seeing you in my imagination and dreams. I love you a lot.” Bryan said and she blushed.
“Thank you, I love you too.” Sophia said still smiling.
” Thought you’d be old already when I haven’t seen you.” Bryan said and she frowned.
” Hey hey, just joking okay?” Bryan said but she didn’t bulge.
“Am sorry, my cutie.” Bryan said and that seems to soothe her.
“Apology accepted.” Sophia said as they both laughed.
★ Aurthur’s Mansion* Night★
Ivan and Ivy got home hours back and each of them went separately in their room.
They came down for dinner and everyone ate as they went back to their various rooms again.
Minutes later, Ivan was feeling a bit bored so he decided to go to Ivy’s room.
” Maybe she will feel insecure.” Ivan said to himself but he shrugged it off and knocked.
He knock and knock but no one opened the door, he opened the door but didn’t find anyone.
“Miss Rhett?” He called but no response.
He checked the bathroom but no one was there, he then went downstairs and search everywhere.
Just then, Ivy came in from the front door. She saw Ivan walking up and down the room.
“Cold ice?” Ivy said.
Ivan faced her and walk towards in a haste.
” Didn’t I told you not to go anywhere, why do you keep getting me worried?”
” I…” Ivy couldn’t complete her statement as he cuts in again.
” I will never be able to forgive myself if anything happens to you because of me, so just stop making me so worried.” Ivan said as he held her shoulder.
” You were worried about me?” Ivy asked.
” Of course, I am.” Ivan said but when he realized what he said, he looked at her and they both stare at each other.
Chapter 29 & 30 : Melody’s Dilemma
“I didn’t mean to say that, I was only concerned you got lost.. goodnight.” Ivan said feeling awkward going back upstairs.
“Good night.” Ivy yelled after him smiling.
“Oh that was close. I didn’t go anywhere to buy anything. I went to see Granny and am happy she’s fine.”
Ivy yawned tiredly and went to her room too.
★ Next morning★
Ivy and Ivan were at the dinning with Ma. Rose, Louisa came down too looking dull
It’s evident she cried all night, she was really heartbroken by what Ryan did.
She got to the dinning and sat down as one of the maids came to serve her food.
Unlike before, Ivan noticed Louisa didn’t greet anyone and wasn’t cheerful unlike everyday.
“Louisa.” Ivan called.
” Yes brother.” Louisa said.
Ivy looked at her worriedly, even her voice has changed and her eye bag has swollen up.
“What’s wrong with you?” Ivan asked.
“Nothing, am fine.” Louisa said putting on a fake smile.
“Don’t you dare lie to me, tell me why you look so dull.” Ivan asked again, looking serious this time.
“Sir, I don’t think you should be harsh towards her, don’t worry I will talk to her.” Ivy said.
“She is my sister, I have all the right to ask if my sister is okay or not.” Ivan said and Ivy swallowed nothing.
“Sir, please listen to me. Trust me I will ask her, she might have her insecurities.” Ivy said making a pleading face which Ivan fell for and he continued eating.
“I will drop you at your college.” Ivan said and Louisa nodded.
After a while, they finished eating and they entered the car. Ivy sat beside the driver while Louisa rested her head on Ivan’s shoulder.
★ Ellite College★
The car stopped at the college and Ivan stepped down with Louisa and Ivy.
As soon as the students saw him, they started rushing towards him.
👥: Ivan Aurthur, you are my role model.
👥: Let’s take a pic please.
👥: Happy to finally meet you sir.
More students started rushing their way as they all surrounded Ivan, Ivy rolled her eyes at them.
Everyone came including Ryan, they started asking for his autograph. When it’s time for Ryan to ask for an autograph too, Louisa stand in between.
“Don’t you dare go near him.” Louisa said staring hatefully at him.
👥: What’s with her.
👥: Why is she acting strange.
👥: He is just asking for an autograph.
” Louisa, you can’t be rude.” Ivan said touching her.
“Go brother, else you will be late to office.” Louisa said as she gave a hug.
👥: How I wish I am the one hugging him.
👥: Oh Lord, he is supposed to my brother or any relative.
Everyone started gushing at the brother and sister duo as Ivan pecked Louisa’s forehead.
“Bye Louisa.” Ivy said too and they both waved before they entered the car and drove off.
Everyone started dispersing to their various places. Louisa was going to the class to meet Charlotte when Ryan stopped her holding her hand.
“Let.. go..of.. my.. hand.” Louisa said one after the other with her eyes closed.
Ryan let go slowly and Louisa open her eyes.
“Louisa, won’t you give me a chance to explain.” Ryan said softly.
“I had thought over and over again before I agreed to you and you couldn’t even tell me the college greatest bully in college was your girlfriend, and you know how much we hate each other., She is just trying to get you back.” Louisa said with a tear which drop from her eyes.
“Louisa, trust me I didn’t mean to keep it a secret. I just thought it’s wouldn’t be right if I tell you about it now, we just started dating and I don’t want any kind of hindrance or something bad to destroy our relationship, trust me I was planning on telling you and I don’t even love her again.” Ryan said.
“When is that?”
“Soon Louisa, as soon as possible. Please try to understand me, I really hate it when you avoid me. You love me right?” Ryan asked.
Louisa kept quiet for a while.
“Please I don’t want to see you for some times.” Louisa said and walk away.
Ryan run his hand in his hair in frustration, as his friends came to meet him and pacify him.
★ Authur’s Empire★
Ivan and Ivy got down from the car and went into the elevator.
“Why did Louisa behaved that way with the guy, are they in a misunderstanding or something. It’s really weird, right?” Ivy said and looked at Ivan but he wasn’t looking at her.
She immediately look away Immediately.
“Sorry sir.” Ivy said softly.
“What for.” Ivan finally spoke up.
“I thought I was already talking too much.” Ivy said and brought down her head.
“I was actually thinking about it too.” Ivan said and the elevator opened.
“You have a good sense of humor.” Ivan said and walk out of the elevator as Ivy stared in surprise.
“Hun, did he..he just compliment me?” Ivy asked a rhetorical question and out of the elevator before it close.
👥: Good Morning sir.
👥: Morning boss.
The staffs greeted him and he nodded. He got to his office and Ivy entered too still smiling.
He sat down on his chair and called the receptionist.
📞: Inform Melissa she is needed in my office. Ivan said.
📞: But sir, she is not in the company right now
📞: What do you mean by that
📞: She hadn’t come to office at all today
The receptionist said and Ivan furrowed his brows.
📞: Okay
Ivan said and dropped the telephone.
” What’s wrong sir?” Ivy asked seeing his worried face.
I hope this is not part of that unknown caller’s doing.* Ivan said in his head.
” Sir?” Ivy called again and he came out of his imagination.
“It’s nothing, I was just wondering why Melissa isn’t in the company. She never does that, this is the first time.” Ivan said bringing out some files.
“Sir, she may has something important to do, maybe it’s involve her family. Everyone has a family yunno.” Ivy said.
Hearing that, Ivan’s mind travelled to his parents and his expression changed to an angry one.
How can someone’s parents be this callous, all they do is to always call Ma. Rose,they wouldn’t dare to call one of their children after all.* Ivan said inwardly.
“Is everything fine sir?” Ivy asked again.
“You ask a lot of questions lately, you know that Miss. Rhett.” Ivan said working on the file.
“I only care Cold ice.” Ivy muttered, not audible to hear.
“What did you say?” Ivan asked looking at her.
“Huh, I.. didn’t say anything.” Ivy said.
Can he read my mind, is he a mind reader? She said inwardly.
Ivan then chuckled and Ivy looked at him in surprise.
“Did you just smile?” Ivy said smiling.
“Smile? I didn’t smile, I only chuckled lightly.” Ivan said putting on his cold face.
“Nevertheless, chuckle also means you smile. This is the first time am seeing you smile, please will you smile everyday?” Ivy said cutely.
“Stop, I told you I didn’t smile.” Ivan half yelled and Ivy frowned and sat down far away from him.
★ The Restaurant★
Noah served the customer and came back to the counter.
“Hey Melody.” Noah said gaining Melody’s attention.
“Are you done?”
“Of course.” Noah said and Melody nodded going back to her work.
” Melody, I.. umm want to ask if you can go out with me tonight.” Noah said and Melody looked at him.
“Why?” Melody asked.
“It’s secret for now, I wanna tell you something special.” Noah whispered to her ear before leaving.
Melody froze on her stand as her heart skip a beat.
★ The Empire★
Ivan finished with his work and Ivy stood there looking at him doing the work and going to get tea or coffee for him whenever he needs it.
” Miss. Rhett, my birthday is in a while.” Ivan said and Ivy’s eyes widened.
“What! I mean wow I can’t really wait. Happy birthday in advance sir.” Ivy said smiling.
“I wanna make it big and you will be in charge of Everything.” Ivan said and Ivy’s eyes widened.
“What!” Ivy said staring at him and he stared back.
Chapter 31 & 32 : Unveiling Hidden Truths
“Sir, how can you hand over your birthday preparations to me, am sure many prominent people are going to be there, many important people and relatives and I might mess everything up. Sir, you can’t just hand it over to me, I can’t…..” Ivy kept blabbering before Ivan cut in.
“Miss. Rhett, I trust you.” Ivan said with a lot of sincerity.
Ivy got mesmerized hearing that word coming from him, she felt relieved. She breathe in and out.
“Okay sir, I will get to it. Just tell me the date and where it’s going to happen.” Ivy said smiling broadly.
“15th of this month.” Ivan said.
“Okay, umm sir. Do we have to go anywhere or any work to do?” Ivy asked.
“Not really.” Ivan said focusing back on his laptop.
” Okay sir.” Ivy said and brought out a book and a pen.
“Sir, I would like to ask some questions.”
” Go on.” Ivan said, his face not leaving the laptop.
” Umm, what will you like the colour of the decors should be?” Ivy asked reading to jotting it down.
“What’s your favorite color.” Ivan asked and Ivy furrowed her brows.
“Why?”
“Just tell me.” Ivan said.
” Orange.” Ivy said softly.
“Good, then Orange and White. My fave color is white.” Ivan said focusing back on the laptop.
White? Such a man likes white. Wow.* Ivy said in her head and jot the color down.
” What do you mean, can’t I like white. It’s means purity and I am pure.” Ivan said and Ivy burst out laughing immediately.
“What’s so funny.” Ivan asked getting pissed off already.
” Sorry sir.” Ivy said trying to stay focus and Ivan scoff.
He is not pure at all, such a cold human being. But wait, can he read minds. How is it possible he knows what I said.* Ivy said in her head again and Ivan looked at her.
” I can’t read minds, but I don’t know why I am able to read yours so be mindful of what you said in your mind.” Ivan said.
” That’s weird, are you a supernatural being or something. How are you able to read my mind and can’t read others.” Ivy said
” I don’t know either, now let me be. Am busy as you can see.” Ivan said and Ivy rolled her eyes.
★ Royal’s Club★
Sophia just ended a romantic call with Bryan before she saw Melody coming in with a boy she had no idea of.
” Hey Sophia.” Melody said sitting on one of the chairs in front of the counter.
“Hi, who’s this handsome boy.” Sophia said, whispering the last part.
“He is my colleague at work.” Melody whispered back.
” Oh, nice. Hi.” Sophia said to Noah.
“Hello, Am Noah.” Noah said giving out an hand.
“Sophia.” Sophia said reciprocating the handshake.
Melody glared at their hands and then as their faces, as they both are smiling to each other.
” Okay, while don’t you get us something.” Melody said.
” Hey, hey someone is jealous.” Sophia teased.
“Jealous, that’s the last thing I will do and definitely not for Noah.” Melody said expecting Noah to feel sad but it’s the opposite.
“Of course, why should she. We are just friends.” Noah said and Melody gritted her teeth.
Friends you say. She said in her head.
” Hearing from Ivy?” Sophia asked.
“Nah, guessed she is just too busy.” Melody said and Sophia nodded.
“I will go get you two something to drink.” Sophia said and left.
” So what’s it the secret.” Melody said.
” Will you help me?” Noah asked.
“Is that the secret, you were saying it as if you wanted to confess something.” Melody said.
” Am not confessing anything, but it’s a secret. Will you help me?” Noah said.
” Just let me hear.” Melody said feeling angry.
” Actually, my dad has a girl he wants me to marry but I don’t want to marry her, I don’t like her one bit. He gave me three weeks times to bring over a girl else I will get married to her.” Noah said.
Sophia came and dropped the drink and left the two alone and they continued discussing.
” So? What do you want me to do about it?” Melody asked.
” I want you to pretend to be my girlfriend for those three weeks and in return I will do whatever you ask me.” Noah said.
” What! Me? Why me? Am sorry I can’t do that. How am I supposed to be your girlfriend for good three weeks if front of your parents and others, it’s really hard to do am so sorry, I can’t.” Melody said.
” Please, I could only think of you. I don’t want to get to that girl, my dad might get angry with me and I don’t want that. Please do this for me, I promise to do whatever you ask for in return.” Noah pleaded.
” No, I can’t.” Melody stood up leaving him alone.
” I can’t find anyone else Melody, just you only you.” Noah muttered as he gulp down his drink.
Some minutes later, Noah was about to leave the club when Melody walk in.
” Melody.” Noah called as Melody walked to him.
” Agreed, I will be your girlfriend.” Melody said and Noah’s mood brighten up.
” Thank you.” Noah said as he hugged her immediately.
Melody was surprised he hug her, he smell really nice as she closed her eyes to inhale his scent.
Noah broke the hug and held her hand.
” I will get going now, call me if you need me.” Melody said as she removed her hand from his and left the club.
“Yes!!” Noah said happily.
★ Elite college★
A lecturer is in the class, he taught some things and left.
After the lecture ended, the students started trooping out. But when Louisa and Charlotte heard some screams coming from the students, they were confused.
“What’s going on?” Louisa asked.
” Let’s go check.” Charlotte said as they both made their way to their the screams were coming from.
The students surrounded a place as Louisa pave way for her to see what’s going on. But as soon she got there, she looked at the scene in shock.
Ava stood on her knees with a flower in her hand and Ryan stood in front of her. A confession as just been made by Ava.
” Ava, what do you think you are doing?” Ryan said feeling embarrassed by the whole thing.
” I want you back in my life again Ryan.” Ava said.
👥: Were they together before?
👥: I don’t understand what’s going on.
“Stop it Ava.” Louisa yelled and all attention fell on her as she walk towards them.
👥: Why’s Louisa interfering
👥: Wow, so much drama.
” What are you doing here Louisa!” Ava asked.
“I should be asking you that, what the hell are you doing with my boyfriend?” Louisa said and the students gasped in shock as they murmured.
” Stay away from my boyfriend Ava, I may be angry with him but I won’t allow anyone take him away from me. He doesn’t want you any longer, so leave him alone. Stay away from my boyfriend, am warning you.” Louisa said as she dragged Ryan away who won’t stop staring at Louisa.
👥: How could Ava do that?
👥: Louisa and Ryan are a thing?
👥: Ava shouldn’t have done that.
Hearing the taunts, Ava ran away from the scene. She has just made a mockery of herself in the name of revenge.
Ryan stopped Louisa when they reached a point.
” What?” Louisa asked.
” You still love me?” Ryan asked smiling.
” Of course I do.” Louisa said and rolled her eyes.
” Are you still angry with me?” Ryan asked.
” Yes.”
” Oh Common, please am sorry.” Ryan said as he hugged her and she reciprocate it.
“It’s okay, you didn’t react when she was proposing to you.” Louisa pouted.
” I didn’t know what to do but am glad you are no more angry.” Ryan said and hugged her again.

It’s almost time for everyone to go home. Ivan got a call from the unknown number again.
” Hey birthday boy.” The caller said.
Ivan looked at Ivy, who was sleeping already
” How did you know that.” Ivan said.
” I know you a lot. A lot might happen on your boyfriend if your dear PA Don’t leave you.” The caller said.
” What do you mean by that.”
” You will understand soon.” The caller said and end the call.
Ivan clenched his fists, Ivy woke up then.
” It’s late sir, let’s head home.” Ivy said.
” Ivy, I have a bad news.” Ivan said and stood up walking to her.
” Bad news?” Ivy said standing up too.
” I don’t think you can work with me any longer” Ivan said and Ivy jaw dropped.
” You are fired.”
