Chapter 25 & 26 : Stay away from her
“Yes, she is my maid. My personal one at that”. Jackson said.
“But, why did you need a maid”. Mrs Maxwell asked.
“I have my reasons”. Jackson said.
“Hello”. Jemimah said.
“How are you dear”. Mrs Maxwell asked.
“Fine thanks ma”. Jemimah said.
“But, I can see a resemblance”. Mr Maxwell said.
“There’s no resemblance anywhere dad”. Jackson said.
“Hmmmmm”. Mr Maxwell sighed.
“Dad, they are heading to college and am about to go to school”. Alice said.
“Okay, take care Alice, hope you have been doing well”. Mr Maxwell said.
“Yes, bye”. Alice said and she ran off.
Jemimah received a call from Lucy so she went out to receive it, meanwhile inside.
“Dad, what’s was that”. Jackson asked.
“She resembles….”
“There’s no resemblance anywhere, bye Dad”. Jackson said and he walk out too.
Jemimah was about to go in when she saw Jackson coming outside.
“Oh, let’s me goodbye to them quickly”. Jemimah said.
“Let go now or else you will take a bus”. Jackson said as he walked to sport bike.
“Rubbish”. Jemimah said.
“Wait, don’t tell me you are riding this bike”. Jemimah said.
“Yeah, any problem?” Jackson said.
“No no, there’s no problem”. Jemimah said and she sat on the bike.
Jackson drove off with a fast speed, in no time they arrived at Maxwell college and they got off it.
“Hi Lucy”. Jemimah said as she saw her.
“Good morning BESTIE”. Lucy said emphasizing on the bestie while staring at Alex.
“What, why looking at me”. Alex said as he scoffed loudly.
“Let’s go to class guys”. Jackson said.
They went to the class and they got sitted for class, the lecturer Came in.

“I told you guys last week about your project right?” The lecturer said.
“Yes Sir”. They chorused.
“Now you guys are going to be grouped, now how do you want us to do it”. He said.
“I suggest we should write our names on a paper and we should pick and if two people get different names, they will do it again”. A boy suggested.
“That’s very nice”. They chorused.
“Okay, you come here and collect their names”. The lecturer called over a girl.
The girl collected all the names and wrote it on a sheet of paper and roll it. The students were been called two each and unluckily for Jemimah and Jackson they picked themselves. Alex and Lucy picked themselves and so on.
“Now, does it have to be him”. Lucy and Jemimah both murmured.
“We are team mates, make sure you do well and don’t let me fail”. Alex said Lucy but she just hissed.
“Not like, I wanted us to be teammates” . Lucy said back.

“Why did I have to be paired with him of all people”. Jemimah said.
“It’s will be more easier since you guys live together”. Lucy said.
“It’s doesn’t…”. Jemimah was interrupted by the presence of Rose.
“Hey bitch”. Rose said.
“Hi, it’s you again”. Jemimah said.
“Yes it me”. Rose said.
“What are you here for”. Jemimah said.
“I came here to warn you, stay away from my brother”. Rose said and Jemimah just laughed heartily.
“What’s funny”. Rose said angrily.
People at the cafeteria started glaring at them.

“Listen to me carefully Rose, your brother is just my friend. You can ask him.” Jemimah said.
“I don’t care about who you are to him, just leave him in fact don’t be friends with him again”. Rose said.
“Am sorry but that’s won’t be possible”. Jemimah said.
Rose was already fuming in anger.
“You are the one that’s supposed to stop acting like a nuisance”. Jemimah said.
“What, did you just call me a nuisance”. Rose said.
“Yes I did”. Jemimah said.
“How dare you”. She made to slap her but someone held her hand.

Alice and Olivia were walking out of the class when Adam blocked their way.
“Hi”. Adam said.
“What”. Alice said.
“How are you, please don’t mind her”. Olivia said and Alice glared at her.
“Excuse me I have to go, you can continue with her”. Alice said and she walked out on them.
“Don’t worry, she will come around”. Olivia said.
“Okay no problem, thanks bye”. Adam said.
“You’re welcome bye”. Olivia said and she went to Join Alice where she is.
“What’s was that Alice”. Olivia said.
“What”. Alice said.
“He was just trying to be friends”. Olivia said.
“Friends my foot, let’s go home joor. Come over to house and come meet my brother’s friend”. Alice said.

Chapter 27 & 28 : Project

“What do you mean by that”. Rose said in shock, she actually been crushing on Jackson since high school.
“Don’t you dare touch her”. Jackson said with a serious face.
“Why are you supporting her too huh. Who is she”. Rose said.
“I don’t know about that, but Dare to disobey and see my other side”. Jackson said and he dragged Jemimah out of the Cafeteria.
Lucy followed them and she stared at the duo. They were both staring at each other without saying anything. Jemimah broke the silence.
“Thank you boss”. Jemimah said.
“What for?” Jackson said.
“For defending me in there”. Jemimah said.
Jackson just scoffed loudly.
“Do you think I did that because of something else, I did that because you are my maid and if anything happens to you I will held responsible cause you are staying with me”. Jackson said.
“Have always knew he is up to no good”. Jemimah thought.
“Whatever, Lucy can we go and visit my mum”. Jemimah said.
“Without asking me?, Did I give you the permission”. Jackson said.
“Am… Sorry. I didn’t know I will have to seek permit before going to my mother’s house”. Jemimah said with an annoyance in her tone.
“You can go”. Jackson said.
“Thanks”. Jemimah said.
“But you have to come back before it 8:00pm”. Jackson said.
“Okay,bye. Lucy let’s go”. Jemimah said and she walked out with Lucy.
“She’s annoying, numbskull”. Jackson said and he drove home.

Jemimah and Lucy walked in to her house and met her mother in the kitchen.
“Wow, seems we came at the right time”. Lucy said happily.
“Wow my children, what a surprise. Am so happy to see Jemimah”. Mrs Jubel.
“Hello mom, how have you been doing”. Jemimah said and she hug her.
“Am fine dear, and you hope you are alright”. Mrs Jubel said.
“Yes, we only came to greet you, I will go back when it is 8:00 because that was Jackass gave me”. Jemimah said giving him another name.
“Who is Jackass”. Mrs Jubel said.
“Jackson Maxwell of course, that’s his new nickname”. Jemimah said.
“Hmm, don’t cross your limit ooo. Be careful and take care of yourself”. Mrs Jubel said.
“Okay ma, common let’s me check the food cause am hungry”. Jemimah said and she stood up.

Alice and Olivia got home expecting to meet Jemimah but she wasn’t home.
“Brother, where’s Jemimah”. Alice asked im mediately she Saw him.
“She’s in her house”. Jackson said.
“What, did you send her away? What did she do, you aren’t supposed to send her away. I will really miss her cause she is really nice…”.
“Alice”. Jackson shouted and the two girls fidgeted.

“She went to greet her mom, I didn’t want to act like a wicked boss but I think I will start now”. Jackson said and he went to his room.
“Hmph, am sorry Olivia but I think you will come tomorrow”. Alice said.

Jemimah was sleeping on the couch in the sitting room, Lucy already left. Mrs Jubel Came to wake her up.
“Jemimah, it’s already 8pm, wake up”. Mrs Jubel said.
“Hmm, I want to stay with you”. Jemimah said and she hug her mom.
“But, it’s 8 already and Jackson will…”
On hearing that, she flung her eyes opened and looked at her mom.
“What says the time now”. Jemimah said.
“It’s already past 8”. Mrs Jubel said.
On hearing that, she rushed out and waved to a cab, she arrived at the house but was really afraid to go in.

Jackson was at sitting room expecting Jemimah when she entered.
“Stop,” Jackson said and she halted.
“Check your time”. Jackson said.
“Am sorry, I know I passed 8pm but….”.
“Now, since you disobeyed me you will receive your punishment”. Jackson said.
“But…”.
“Clean all the mansion and sleep in the tent I made outside”. Jackson said.
“But, it’s cold outside”. Jemimah said.
“I don’t care”. Jackson said.
“We have a project tomorrow and I can’t afford to fail it”. Jemimah said.
“Good night”. Jackson said and he went to his room.
“Fuck you”. Jemimah said and she begins her work.
✓ Maxwell college: next day✓
“Now, today is your project and you guys have been grouped. I will give the work. Meet me in my office now, see you”. The lecturer and he went to his office.
But a lecturer also came and the students groaned.
“You guys have my lecture now, so settle down”. The lecturer said.
Time passed and the he left the class, they all went to the first lecturer office.
“These are what you need to do, the best team will get a distinction in their test”. The lecturer said.
They left the office and went home.

Alice was coming out from the restroom when she bumped into Adam.
“Watch your steps Adam”. Alice said and tried to walk away but he held her hand.
“Have I offended you before, I really like you”. Adam said.
“What, stop it and let’s me go…”
She was cut short by a hug from him.

Jemimah stood up from her bed and went to Jackson’s room. She just finished taking a shower.
“You called for me”. Jemimah said.
“Start the project”. Jackson said with a tone of authority.
“What!” Jemimah exclaimed.
Chapter 29 & 30 : Thank you

“What happened”. Jackson said.
“How can you tell me to work the project alone, I just cleaned the house and everything else. I only need rest now please”. Jemimah said.
Jackson stood up from his bed and start to Walk closer to her. Jemimah kept moving back too until she reached the wall.
“Mine is to command and yours is to obey, you don’t get to tell me what to do”. Jackson said.
“But..”
“Keep shut, I have allowed a lot now you only do as I say if you need your money”. Jackson said and he walked back to his bed.
Jemimah breathe in and out before walking to study table and started with the work.

Rose is with Ellis when she received a call, she excused her herself to her room to receive Kate’s call.
“Hello, how was the warning plan, did it go well?” Kate asked.
“It didn’t because someone showed up in the middle”. Rose said.
“Who interrupted”. Kate asked.
“Jackson”. Rose said.
“What, Jackson why will he defend her I thought she is his maid”. Kate said.
“I hope Jackson isn’t crushing on her cause I won’t allow her to be with my man”. Rose said.
” Calm down, we won’t allow that. Well Amanda sent her regards to you”. Kate said.
“Greet her too bye. I have to go now”. Rose said and she hung the phone.

Alice was on her bed chatting with Olivia, she seems to be smiling because of the chat. Olivia sent something which got her angry.
📱: What Olivia, I told you to stop telling me this. Alice typed.
📱: But, he really have an interest in you, why don’t you give him a chance. Olivia typed.
📱: I don’t care, his feelings should die down of course, he met me recently and gosh who does that. Alice typed.
📱: Love at sight of course, common that’s exist. Olivia typed back.
📱: Olivia, I need to go now. See you tomorrow. Alice said and she dropped the phone.
“I don’t believe yet, he met me recently of course”. Alice thought.

Jemimah had dozed off on the project she was working on. Jackson noticed this and went over to her, he was working on his laptop. He met her sleeping and he couldn’t help but to stare at her cute innocent face. He suddenly regain back.
“What am I doing, she needs to wake up now”. He went to sprinkle water on her face and she woke up.
“Oh am sorry, I think I dozed off” . Jemimah said.
“Leave”. Jackson said.
“Hun, am sorry, I will continue now”. Jemimah apologize.
“Don’t you hear me, go”. Jackson said.
Jemimah immediately sprang up and she went to her room, she flung herself on the bed and slept off.

“Good morning sir”. Jemimah greeted Mr Maxwell.
“How are you dear, how was your night”. Mr Maxwell said.
“Splendid sir and you”. Jemimah asked.
“Good, how are you coping with my son”. Mr Maxwell said.
“Managing sir”. Jemimah said.
“My son is somehow a hard head but he is really nice”. Mrs Maxwell said as she walked in.
“Really, he is nice?” Jemimah asked.
“He is but he doesn’t show it”. Mrs Maxwell said.
They saw Jackson coming downstairs and changed the topic, Jackson was staring at them suspiciously.
“Good morning Dad, morning Mom”. Jackson greeted.
“Morning dear”. Mrs Maxwell said.
“Where’s Alice?” Jackson asked.
“She has gone to school”. Jemimah answered.
“Let’s go then”. Jackson said and they both went outside and drove to school.

“You are to submit your project tomorrow you guys, hope you are fully prepared for your reward”. The lecturer said.
“Yes sir”. They chorused.
“Good”. He said and Walk out of the class.
Lucy came to Jemimah seat and Alex went to Jackson.
“We are done with ours and you?” Lucy said.
“Actually… We” . She brought it out and she was surprised that the work was done.
“Perfect, you have done yours too”. Lucy said.
Jemimah looked at Jackson but he wasn’t looking her side, she wondered if he did it.
“I didn’t complete it, cause I slept off then did he complete it?” Jemimah thought.
“Let’s go eat guys, am extremely hungry”. Alex said.
“Same here, let’s go”. Lucy added and they walked to the cafeteria.

The whole while that they were all gisting , Jemimah just kept staring at nothing.
“Jemimah, what’s wrong”. Alex asked.
“Huh, nothing actually”. Jemimah responded.
“Why are you looking like this then” . Lucy asked.
“Nothing, just thinking about something”. Jemimah said.
“What”. Jackson asked.

Alex and Lucy wondered what’s was going on.
Chapter 31 & 32 : Kidnapped
“Why are you saying thank you”. Jackson asked.
“Umm, well. I didn’t really expect you to do the project at all”. Jemimah said.
“Remember you fell asleep and I told you to go to your room, I couldn’t allow you to make me fail this project all because of you”. Jackson said.
Jemimah just nodded and soon they were out of the school. Jackson and Jackson went home too Immediately.
✓ Rodriguez mansion ~ Rose’s room✓
Kate and Amanda came to visit Rose in her house, they were busy discussing about another plan against Jemimah.
“I think that warning won’t really work, we must find another thing to do”. Kate said.
“But you guys can settle it amicably without any sort of fighting”. Amanda said to Rose.
“Listen, if you know you don’t have anything reasonable to say please keep shut or perhaps you can leave”. Rose said and Amanda just nodded.
“I have another plan, and am sure this will teach her a lesson”. Kate said.
“What’s it?” Rose asked.
“We will have to.. kidnap her and send some men to teach her a little bit of lesson”. Kate said silently.
” What Kate, how can think of something so low. Listen Rose you can’t stoop so low, please”. Amanda said.
“Shut up, I think that will be a good idea. After all it’s not that we are killing her, just to teach her some lessons she will never forget in her life”. Rose said with a smirk on her face.
✓ Maxwell Mansion~ Mr Maxwell’s room✓
Jemimah entered his room to give him the tea that he asked for. Mr Maxwell smiled on seeing her.
“Be careful, drop it over there. Thank you”. Mr Maxwell said as he pointed to a small table near his bed.
“Okay sir, where’s Mrs Maxwell?” Jemimah asked.
“She is with Alice in her room, any problem”. Mr Maxwell said.
“No sir, just asking of her”. Jemimah smiled.
“Okay dear, you can go”. Mr Maxwell said.
Jemimah went out of the room and went to Jackson’s room to see Mrs Maxwell.
“Can I come in”. Jemimah asked.
“Can’t you see that am discussing with my mom”. Jackson said.
“Am sorry”. Jemimah turned to go back.
“No no, come in Jemimah”. Mrs Maxwell said.
“But…”
“Come in, don’t mind him”. Mrs Maxwell said and Jackson stared at his mom.
“I just came to say hello to you that’s all”. Jemimah said as she walked in.
“Thank you dear, have you eaten”. Mrs Maxwell asked.
“Umm not yet”. Jemimah said and Jackson glared at her, Jemimah returned it too.
“Why, don’t worry we will go out to eat. I can see you are a good girl and I love that”. Mrs Maxwell said.
“What Mom, you will go out with her”. Jackson said.
“Any problem”. Mrs Maxwell said.
“Nope”. He said and he went out of the room.
“Thanks ma, umm where’s Alice”. Jemimah said.
“I think she went to her friend’s house, she will be back soon”. Mrs Maxwell said.
“Okay ma”. Jemimah said.
“Go get dressed”. Mrs Maxwell and went out of the room.
“She’s so nice, then why is Jackson so rude”. Jemimah thought.
✓ Olivia’s house✓
Alice is ready to leave her house, Olivia was escorting her on their way.
“Can I tell you something”. Olivia said.
“Sure, what’s it”. Alice asked.
“It’s about Adam”. Olivia said and Alice faced her.
“What about him”. Alice asked.
“I like him”. Olivia said.
“What ! Him, why him”. Alice said.
“Why not him, he is quite handsome”. Olivia said.
“Hmm, well you are on your own, let’s me board a bus”. Alice said feeling somehow.
“Okay, let’s me be on my way. Bye”. Olivia said.
“Bye”. Alice thought.
“She likes him, then why am I feeling weird”. Alice thought and she entered the bus heading home.
✓ Restaurant✓
Mrs Maxwell and Jemimah entered the restaurant and Jemimah marvelled at the decor and arrangements. They sat down while Mrs Maxwell placed the order. Jemimah watched as all the staffs respected her.
“You might not know but, we are quite famous”. Mrs Maxwell said.
“I thought as much”. Jemimah said.
They brought the food and it looked good. They started eating, soon Jemimah excused herself to the restroom.
But unknown to them, someone was spying on them, the person followed Jemimah to restroom and when Jemimah came out of the restroom, she felt something strange.
“Who’s there”. Jemimah said. Since no one answered she decided to make her way to the restaurant when someone blocked her nose with a handkerchief. She fell asleep and the person carried her in his arm and out of the restaurant. Meanwhile;
“Where’s she since”. Mrs Maxwell thought.
She intended to go look for her when she Saw someone taking her into a vehicle, she ran outside and shouted.
“Hey, bring her back where are taking her to”. Mrs Maxwell shouted but it was too late.
The man quickly drove out of the surroundings. Mrs Maxwell became worried.
“She..she has been kidnapped”.
