Chapter 65 & 66 : An attack
Jackson went to Jemimah’s room to check up on her, he is really feeling bad right now. After he got cured, he had Alex to find out more about her.
Which Alex told him everything including the death of her father. Though Jemimah wanted to find out her dad’s murderer but she just had to let go.
“Am sorry Jemimah, I promise I won’t let anything wrong happen to you. You shall get justice.” Jackson said softly as he patted her hair while she slept peacefully.
Jackson just kept looking at her innocent cute face. Then, he saw Jemimah opening her eyes.
“Jackson, what.. what are you doing here?” Jemimah said looking out to the door.
“Was missing you so I came to check up on you.” Jackson said and she smiled.
“Thank you, but it is really risky. Someone might be passing by.” Jemimah said.
“Okay, I’ll get going now.” Jackson said as he stood up but she held his hand.
“It is for our own good.” Jemimah said.
“Yes I understand.” Jackson said and pecked her forehead.
“Good night.” Jemimah said before Jackson left the room.
√ Next morning~ Adrian’s room√
Adrian was busy with his laptop. He was actually trying to get some kind of information but he failed.
“While Stephanie handles Jackson, I will try to find out where Jemimah’s mother leaves now.” Adrian said.
“But I don’t think I can do this, I will have to involve Stephanie.” Adrian said before dialing Stephanie’s number.
📞: I need you to do something for me.
📞: What’s it this time.
📞: You will have to find out where Jemimah’s mother leaves.
📞: But Why, what do you have against Jemimah again.
📞: Just shut up and do as I told you.
📞: Okay.
📞: Good.
Adrian said before hanging up the call. Then he went to the sitting room.
“Good morning everyone.” Adrian said as he came down from the stairs.
Everyone was busy getting themselves ready for today’s work, Stephanie’s eyes met with Adrian and he smirked. But unknowingly to them Jemimah saw them.
“Are they planning something again, what’s could it be though.” Jemimah said.
“I won’t let you harm Jemimah or her mom uncle, I really need to find some evidence against you real quick.” Jackson also said.
“Bye Mom, bye Dad, Bye uncle. Bye everyone.” Alice said before going out the house.
“Let’s go too.” Jemimah said and the three walked out.
“Adrian, I want you to follow me to my office today.” Mr Maxwell said.
“Why.” Adrian said frowning his face.
“Just for you to know one or two things.” Mr Maxwell replied.
“If I follow him, how am I going to execute my plan.” Adrian thought.
“What are you thinking about , come on.” Mr Maxwell said.
“Okay go on, I will meet you outside.” Adrian said and Mr Maxwell nodded before going out with his wife.
Adrian brought out his phone and dialed a number, it didn’t take up to 10 seconds before the person picked the call.
“I won’t be able to accompany you guys, you all have to execute that plan yourself.” Adrian said to the person over the phone and the person responded before hanging up the call.
√ Maxwell College√
They arrived at the college, since Stephanie had arrived, Jackson had stopped using a power bike and got a car for himself.
“Umm Jackson I want to see you.” Jemimah said and Stephanie looked at her.
“Why, what’s happening between you two?” Stephanie asked.
“It is about college work.” Jemimah said and Stephanie rolled her eyes.
“Whatever.” Stephanie said and went to class.
“What’s it?” Jackson asked.
“I will be going to my mom’s house today and I want you to come with me.” Jemimah said.
“But, she might suspect something. I know before we fell in love you might have told her about your arrogant boss.” Jackson said and she smiled.
“Well, you guessed right, but I know my mom will support us and give her blessings.” Jemimah said.
“How sure are you?” Jackson said and Jemimah frowned.
“Okay okay sorry. We will go.” Jackson said and Jemimah hugged him happily.
“Thank you.” She said.
“You are always welcome.” He said hugging her back.
“Let’s go now.” Jemimah said and they walked to class.
√ Maxwell School√
Alice arrived at school and was about to go to class when she felt someone pulled her.
“Hey,who are you and why did you pull me here.” Alice said
staring at the two boys in front of her.
“Do you really want to know?” One of them said walking towards her while Alice moved back until she got to the wall.
“Stay…stay away from me. Don’t get closer.” Alice said already afraid.
“Why, are you scared ?” The other boy said.
“Adam, please come am in trouble. Oh Lord save me.” Alice said inwardly.
“Let’s play a little game okay? Common.” The boy said.
“No, let’s me go. Leave me alone.” Alice said trying to release herself from her grip.
“Adam.” Alice shouted.
“No one is saving you, so just keep shut.” They said.
One of the boys tore her uniform and began staring at her b**B’s. They started caressing her chest with kisses.
Alice was already crying. She couldn’t do anything, She just close her eyes. She is not strong enough to release herself from two boys.
“You smells nice you know.” The one said but before they could go further,they felt a sharp pain on their head which got screaming out loud.
Alice opened her eyes when she heard them shouting, her eyes immediately meet with with Adam. Adam was holding a stick.
Adam was passing by when he heard Alice voice, he decided to shrugged it off but he heard it again and he traced the voice.
When he opened the door,he saw the scene displayed in front of him and he was already boiling with anger. He looked at his right side and grabbed a stick and walked towards them and hit it on their head.
“Adam.” Alice said before hugging him while sobbing.
“Alice, hope you are fine. Am sorry I arrived late.” Adam said but she continued sobbing.
“These bastards.” Adam said before leaving Alice and walked towards the boys who were rolling on the floor in pain.
“Please forgive us, leave us alone.” One of them said but Adam gave him a punch on his face which got his lips bleeding.
“Did you leave her when you were harassing her huh, tell me who sent you. Why are you doing this.” Adam said.
“It’s was umm Olivia.”
“Olivia?” Alice said.
“Now run for your dear life and next time you try this with her you are dead.” Adam said before they ran out.
Adam faced Alice and put on his jacket on her, due to the harassment they had torn her cloth.
“Come, let’s go.” Adam said and they walked out together.
👥: Who might have done this to her.
👥: Poor Alice, I really feel her pain.
👥: Adam really did a great job.
👥: Yes wow.
They got to the class and Adam eyes met with Olivia, he walked towards her in anger.
“What.” Olivia said but Adam dragged her up and made her kneel down in front of Alice.
“Apologize.” Adam said calmly.
“What! Why will I do that.” Olivia said.
“I said apologise.” Adam yelled which got Olivia shake in fear and even Alice.
“Am sorry.” Olivia said but Alice just looked at her hatefully.
“This is my last warning Olivia, if anything or anyone does something wrong with my Alice, that person will face my wrath. Don’t ever even try or think of doing this again understood?” Adam said and she nodded.
“Now out of my sight.” He said and she quickly ran out of the class.
“This also goes to all of you, this is Alice not some random, person, she can get you expel in no time, so everyone better know what he or she is doing. Adam said and hugged Alice.

Jackson and Jemimah got down from the door only to see something shocking.
“Fire!” Jemimah said and her eyes widened, same goes to Jackson.
Chapter 67 & 68 : Evidence
“Fire!”
“What.. what is going on?” Jackson said.
Immediately they ran towards the house, Jackson went in to save Jemimah’s mom.
He was able to save her, after he brought her outside, he saw two men running towards a car and Immediately he followed them.
He got into his car and drive after the car with a lot of speed. He was trying to overcome the car but it’s seems the driver is more competent.
Jackson knew a short cut he pass then he drove towards the place.
“Thank God, he is gone. Thought we are going to be caught.” One of them said and they both started laughing.
Their car Immediately halted, they looked closer at the car and saw that it’s was Jackson.
“How did he end up here.”
“Quickly reverse, fast.” One of them said but it’s was too late.
Jackson already called the cops and thank God they were nearby. The cops car stood behind them while Jackson’s car was at the front.
“We are doomed, what do we do.”
“Just get out and run.”
“If you do that, they are going to shoot you.”
“I don’t care am going.” One of the men got down from the car to run out the cops was fast to shoot his legs Which got him falling down Immediately while screaming.
Jackson got down from the car and walk to the other one, he wanted to run but Jackson was quick to give him a punch which got his nose bleeding.
“You scumbag, why did you do that huh, tell me now who sent you.” Jackson said fiercely at the man.
“I was sent, the name is..”
“Speak.” Jackson shouted at him.
“Stephanie, that’s all I know it’s was Stephanie.” The man lied.
“What Stephanie.” Jackson said .
Jackson handed him over to the cops before heading to the hospital which Jemimah’s mom had been admitted thanks to the police.
√ Hospital√
Jemimah held her mom’s hand as she was been rush to the I.C.U.
She was crying profusely while staring at her unconscious mother.
“Mom please, just hold on okay. Please, I can’t afford to lose you mom.” Jemimah said while crying.
“Please this is the limit you could go, wait here while we perform our duty.” One of the nurses said.
They took her to the ICU while Jemimah waited outside. She was crying when she saw Jackson running towards her.
“Jemimah.” Jackson called and pulled her in a hug.
“Stop crying okay, she will be fine.” Jackson tried to console her but it’s seems that it not working because Jemimah was just crying profusely.
“My mom.. she doesn’t deserve this, it’s my fault. I couldn’t do anything for her, it’s my fault.” Jemimah said still crying.
“No, don’t blame yourself, it’s not your fault. Calm down okay please.” Jackson said.
After some minutes, the doctor came out which got them standing up Immediately.
“Doctor, how is my mum tell me.” Jemimah said.
“She’s out of danger now, Thank God she was rescued quickly or it’s might have been worse than this.” The doctor and Jemimah smiled.
“Can we see her now?” Jackson said.
“No, we still have some process to take, we will inform you after that.” The doctor said.
“Thank you, Thank you so much.” Jemimah said happily before the doctor left.
“Thank you so much Jackson, I am really grateful.” Jemimah said facing Jackson.
“You are welcome, your mom is also my mom now, Thank God she is out of danger” Jackson said and she smiled before hugging him.
√ Mrs Jubel Ward√
Jemimah and Jackson came in, Mrs Jubel was sleeping but on hearing the sound of the door she woke up.
“Jemimah my dear.” Mrs Jubel said and Jemimah went to hug her.
“Mom, hope you are fine now.” Jemimah said before releasing herself from the hug to look at her mom.
“Am fine, I have really missed you.” Mrs Jubel said.
“Me too Mom. Ummm I would like to introduce you to someone.” Jemimah said.
“Who’s that.” Mrs Jubel said before her eyes landing on Jackson.
“He is Jackson Maxwell, my former boss.”
” What do you mean by former boss, you told me how rude and arrogant he was. So what’s he doing here.” Mrs Jubel said and Jackson walked closer towards the bed.
“I said my former boss Because he is my boyfriend now.” Jemimah said and Mrs Jubel eyes widened.
“What! You dare have a boyfriend without my consent?” Mrs Jubel said while Jemimah just smiled.
“Actually we love each other now, it’s true we might not have got together in the past but now our bond is unbroken.” Jemimah said.
“Come here son.” Mrs Jubel said and he sat beside the bed.
“You are the son of one of the most wealthiest,so how did you fall for my daughter?” Mrs Jubel said which Jackson smiling.
“Actually ma, your daughter is one in a million. She might be stubborn but she eventually got me trapped in her web of love. When she left my house sometimes ago, I felt her absence and I missed her every single day. That’s was how I fell in love with your cute daughter.” Jackson explained and was surprised when Mrs Jubel smiled, he was hoping for the opposite.
“That’s good, I really hope you will take care of my daughter and be a good husband in the future. God bless you both.” Mrs Jubel said.
“Amen, Thank you.” Jackson said.
“I told you my mom will give her blessings,see.” Jemimah whispered.
Jackson immediately remembered he has some pending work to do.
“I really have to get going, I will be back, got to finish something important okay, bye.” Jackson said and walked out of the ward.

Jackson had called Stephanie over, he was waiting for her when she saw her coming in.
“So why the sudden change today.” Stephanie said while grinning foolishly.
“Actually, I just wanted to see you but this is not where we are supposed to discuss such issue.” Jackson said.
“Wow, what kind of issue is that.” Stephanie said.
I am taking you to where you will spill all the beans Stephanie. Jackson said inwardly.
“Just come and see for yourself.” Jackson said before holding her hand and they walked up to the car.
They entered the car and Jackson start driving, it took up to 30 minutes before reaching the police station.
“What.. what are we doing here Jackson.” Stephanie said.
“Just come in.” Jackson said and he pulled her hand dragging her inside.
On getting in, Stephanie saw a police man walking towards her, she was already starting to get scared.
“Miss Stephanie Bryant, you are under arrest.” The officer said.
“What, why. Jackson what are we doing here.” Stephanie said and Jackson just let go of her hand.
“Take her to the investigation room.” The officer commanded.
“Jackson, Jackson. You did this deliberately right. Jackson you can’t do this to me.” Stephanie kept shouting but it’s all into deaf ears.
They took her to the investigation room, they kept asking her questions but she didn’t even answer them. Jackson decided to take over himself.
After some slaps from Jackson, Stephanie finally confessed.
“It’s was Adrian. I never even wanted to come here, he threatened to kill my parents. Tell me how could I have not answer hi huh. He only called me here to keep an eye on you, am not interested in you for any relationship. I also have my own life but since your so called Uncle arrived into my life everything changed. How could I not have agreed to help him
.” Stephanie said crying.
“Good, you see you are going to follow me to my house now and expose him. Deal or not?” Jackson said.
“Only if you let me go. I promise I will go away from you forever please let me go.” Stephanie pleaded.
“Okay now common wipe your tears and get ready to go to my house.” Jackson said before leaving the room.
“Good job Jackson.” The officer said and Jackson smiled.
√ Hospital√
Mrs Jubel just fell asleep, Jemimah left the room when she got a call from Jackson.
📞: Can you come over to my place now. Jackson said.
📞: Why.
📞: There’s something you need to know.
📞: Okay then.
Jemimah told one of the nurses to inform her mom when she wakes up that she will be back soon.
Jemimah quickly stopped a cab and got in. Some minutes later she arrived at the house.
“Jackson what are you doing, Stephanie what’s wrong with you and what’s with the police.” Adrian said when he saw three police men with Jackson and Stephanie.
“Don’t pretend uncle, I know you must be scared right now.” Jackson said.
“Scared, why will he be.” Mr Maxwell said.
“You are under arrest Adrian Maxwell for the murder of Mr Jubel and for the cause of Jackson Maxwell’s accident.” One of the police said and everyone eyes widened.
“What!” Mrs Maxwell exclaimed.
“What, what evidence do you have. How could come here without evidence.” Adrian fidgeting.
” There’s evidence!” Stephanie said and Adrian glared at her.
Chapter 69 & 70 : Finale (Happily together)
“There’s evidence”.
“Stephanie! What do you think you are doing.” Adrian said fearfully.
“Your secret is out now Adrian, no use pretending. I had told them everything about you, Everything single thing. So it’s better you don’t act up.” Stephanie said.
“How could you Stephanie, I trusted you yet you betrayed me. You are going to pay for this.” Adrian said.
“Yes, Mr Adrian. You can do that when you are in jail, now move. Anything you say now, will be used against you in the Court of law. It’s better you say quiet now, now move.” The police said while one of them went and handcuff him.
“Hold on a sec.” They heard Jemimah said.
Jemimah walked towards Adrian, stared at him for a second before giving him a hot slap. Everyone eyes widened.
“This is for my father’s death.” She slapped him again.
“This is for the pain you had given to me and my mum.” She said slapping him again.
“And lastly, this is for Jackson.” She said slapping him again.
Jackson smiled while watching the scene played in front of him. Mr Maxwell was sad and at the same time disappointed in his so called brother.
“Miss Jubel, please let do our Job.” The police said and they took him out of the house.
Jemimah immediately burst into tears, just then Alice walked in.
“What’s going on here.” Alice asked staring at the family members and Jemimah crying.
“Why are you crying Jemimah, what’s going on.” Alice asked again.
” Alice…” Jackson explained all that happened in the house.
They all tried to console Jemimah for some times before she stopped crying.
“Mum, dad, Jemimah’s mum will be staying in this house for some days.” Jackson said.
” Why.” Mrs Maxwell said.
” Actually their house was burnt down due to Uncle. She has no place to stay for now. So I mean for the meantime, she could stay here and be with her daughter.” Jackson said.
” No problem dear, Jemimah, you can bring your mum over so that she can receive more treatment and love from her daughter.” Mrs Maxwell said.
” Thank you, I .. I really appreciate.” Jemimah said trying to wipe her tears.
” It’s Okay, now stop crying already.” Mrs Maxwell hugging her.

Alex and Lucy decided to accompany Jackson and Jemimah to the hospital.
They arrived at the at the mansion some minutes later.
“Is this your house dear.” Mrs Jubel said staring at the big house in front of her.
” Yes, it’s our house. You will be living here with us henceforth.” Jackson said smiling.

” It’s okay now Mom, let’s go in.
They entered the house and Mrs Jubel’s eyes landed on Mr Maxwell and Mrs Maxwell.
” Are they your parents?” Mrs Jubel said staring at them while Jackson nodded.
“Nancy? ” Mr and Mrs Maxwell said.
” I have finally been able to meet the both of you after so many years, it’s such a relief.” Mrs Jubel said while Jackson and Jemimah stared at them in confusion.
“Do you know each other.” Jemimah asked.
” Yes dear, your father and I had been friends for a long time. We were so close not until your father met with an accident everything else just cleared up. The friendship and everything else.” Mrs Jubel explained.
” You know we had a fight and to think of it, I never knew he was dead until recently.” Mr Maxwell said.
“Please forgive us Nancy.” Mrs Maxwell said moving closer to her.
“Well, am not God. It’s only God that can forgive. I had forgiven you a long time ago. And we have formed a new relationship now.” Mrs Jubel said.
“Relationship? What relationship is that.” Mrs Maxwell said.
“Didn’t you know?” Mrs Jubel said looking at Jackson and Jemimah.
“Well mom, dad. Jemimah and I had been into a relationship for some time now. Sorry for keeping it a secret, just wanted to clear off some things.” Jackson said holding Jemimah’s hand.

“We’re sorry ma, please forgive us.” Jemimah said keeping her head low.
Mrs Maxwell walked towards Jemimah. Jemimah was already scared within, she immediately opened her eyes when she felt Mrs Maxwell hugging her.
“It’s okay dear, you are a good girl and since my son had chosen you am sure he made the right choice.” Mrs Maxwell said patting her hair.
“Thank you thank you.” Jemimah said hugging her.
“So we are all a family already, back to before.” Mr Maxwell said joining them.
“So,we will get going now.” Lucy said.
“Thank you Lucy and Alex. We appreciate.” Jemimah said and they smiled before leaving.
They talked for a while, they all seems to be happy. While Alice was just clinging unto Jemimah asking her some silly questions. They did that before they all went to bed.
√ Some years later~ Maxwell College√
Jemimah, Jackson, Alex, Lucy, Rose, Ellis, Peter, Amara and some other students can be seen in their graduation cloth with all of them smiling.
“Wow, Can’t believe this day is finally here.” Lucy said.
“We are now graduates yipee.” Jemimah said and they all laughed.
“Ladies and gentlemen. As some our students are graduating today. We would like to call Mr Nicholas Maxwell to give some speech.

Jackson called Lucy and Alex over telling them about a plan he has.
“That’s gonna be at the party.” Alex said and Jackson nodded.
After the party at college ended, they started preparing for the party at Maxwell Mansion. The mansion was well decorated and some Waiters could be seen moving around.
The friends came in while searching for Jackson and Jemimah.
“We are here.” Jemimah said gaining their attention.
“Wow, you look so adorable together.” Rose said.
“Thanks.” Jemimah said.
“Come in, have your seat. The party will soon start.” Jackson said leading them to their seat.
The party started a while later with everyone enjoying themselves.
Jemimah noticed Jackson talking to her mom and wondered what they discussing.
“What are they discussing so much.” Jemimah thought.
“Jemimah come with us”. Lucy and Rose said dragging her with them.
“But…” Jemimah looked at where Jackson and her mom were but didn’t see them again.
They finally got to the balcony and Jemimah was surprised by the beautiful decorations made there.
She also saw some designs with”Will you marry me”. On it.
“What’s all this.” Jemimah said facing them.
“Jemimah Jubel.” Jemimah heard Jackson said and faced his side.
She saw him kneeling on a knee on the floor with a box of ring with him.
“Jemimah Jubel, will you marry me?” Jackson said again.
Jemimah stood there in shock, she was too surprised to give a answer. She was very happy, she immediately saw her mom and Jackson’s parents telling her’say yes’ .
“Mom…” Jemimah said and her mom nodded telling her to go ahead.
“Yes, yes I will.” Jemimah said stretching out her hand while Jackson slipped the ring in her finger.
“Thank you Jemimah.” Jackson said standing up.
She immediately pulled him to a kiss, everyone was just screaming”awwwwwwwwn.
They kissed passionately for some time, enjoying each other lips.
“We are going to be the next.” Alex whispered to Lucy and she blushed.
“Now, we all are a family and we all had a happy time.” Mr Maxwell said.
“Finally happily together, our bond is unbroken now.” Jemimah said and Jackson smiled.
“Love you.” Jackson said.
“Love you too.” Jemimah said before Jackson pecked her forehead.
“Time for some picture.” Alice said.
They clicked some pictures and Alice introduced Adam to them before they all got along.
